all good.except....

room was spotlessly clean,bathroom adequate,if rather small.very accomodating hosts,very helpful.excellent breakfast.one incident,however,made my mind up to never stay here again though.on my second night of 3 here,a gay male guest(this establishment welcomes both gay and straight guests)tried to(and this is the only way it could be described)sexually assault me at the top of the stairs while i made my way to my room.This incident made me feel quite anxious and a bit angry too to be honest.i did report this to 1 of the owners the next morning.all i can hope is that an attempt to identify the man in question has or was made via thee cctv,and he will not be allowed to stay again.i would say to any straight person wishing to stay here,if you are not okay listening to gay innuendo between owners and guests while trying to eat your breakfast,then this place isn't for you.i had no wish to write such a review,as this hotel is very good,and excellent value for money.But perhaps more could be done to ensure all guests,gay or straight feel happy to stay here.

We loved our stay. It is close to the front and the tower. The room was small but comfy. The hosts were friendly and the breakfast was delicious with a full English breakfast or a variety of cereals and fruit. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The Garnett Hotel lived up to my expectations. I had a single room with shared bathroom. The room was small but adequate, and I was aware that I was not booking the penthouse suite.
What stood out was the friendliness of the hosts. They did everything that was necessary to make my (1 night) stay a comfortable one, and the breakfast was exceptional if you are into a Full English with all the trimmings.
I know Blackpool isn’t the most expensive resort in the UK, but in all honesty I thought the Garnett was outstanding value for money. Highly recommended

Really enjoyed our stay in Blackpool. Have stayed at a few places over the years and this is excellent. Good comfy bed and pillows and a fab cooked breakfast and good continental selection. Didn’t go hungry at all. The bar was cheap and got to speak with the owners who are excellent hosts. The hotel is in the centre of everything. Just around the corner from funny girls and the best bars in town. Will be back.

Paid Expedia in full, but the hotel didn't have my booking.
Owners were rude and totally unhelpful.
Just kept saying, we won't get paid, so it's not our problem.
Couldnt get through to Expedia, so I had to go to another hotel, and have received no refund or apology - very poor service from both Expedia and the hotel owners.
Would never consider the Garnett again.

Good communication from start and friendly welcome in arrival. Fair sized twin room with bonus of dressing gowns adding that touch of luxury. Clean all round and comfy bed, smallish ensuite but very clean. Delicious breakfast, lots of choice from cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurts, toast and full English with veggie option. Fab hosts, 2 mins from Funny Girls and definitely will return.

Was staying with a friend for a festival had a twin room great location from Blackpool sea front local to all amenities , a little tricky for parking but understandable for summer season, but later told by the owners of an app to download for parking, very friendly and welcoming and happy to help definitely service with a smile, breakfast was included and tbh couldn’t go wrong especially for the price, room was a little small but what more do you want as we was only there to get ready go out and sleep would return again, great hosts x

Bed was Flea Riddled

The Host were quite nice. Hotel 5 mins walk from Railway Station. Ten mins walk from Town Centre. How ever the bed Was Flea Ridden with Dust Mites. I had taken can of Raid Fly Killer with me after Experience at Butlins. Gave the bed Quick Spray when i Arrived but was itching like man at night had to try and respray And by another can the next day and Spray the whole bed and covers as best i could to get a good night sleep. I paid extra for En suite room the Bathroom was very small the Toilet seat would nit stay up so had to wee in the sink. The shower was only cold Water tried three time to get warm water to no Avil. Breakfast was good and hot.

A Fantastic Stay.

There was a warm welcome when we arrived at the Garnett by Dean.
We had excellent communication in the morning before we got there & such a lovely place to stay.
Alan & Dean were incredibly helpful, incredibly friendly & the food was absolutely delicious. There was a variety of cereals, fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, fruit juices, milk & a full English breakfast that was cooked to perfection.
I have booked my next stay already, cannot wait to go again.

Room was small but clean and absolutely fine for my son and I and had everything we needed for our stay. The hosts were lovely and chatty, friendly and great with my son. We were very shocked at breakfast at the array of food on offer with plenty of options. The cooked breakfast was delicious and for the price we certainly had no complaints at all. There is no on site parking and initially we got parked right outside on the street. When we returned later after a meal out we had to park on the next street. Only a couple of minutes away so no issue. My 9 year old summed our stay up by saying to the owners “ cool hotel” if he’s happy I’m happy 😊

We had a most enjoyable stay here, the hosts were very easygoing and welcoming. There were one or two minor gripes with the room, but overall the stay was great and we also liked the location of the hotel, close to the railway station, a five minute walk to the sea front and not too far from the town centre.
The breakfast was also very good. We will definitely return.

Stayed here for 2 nights, the ensuite bedroom was nice with all the facilities you need, the breakfast was excellent and the hosts were most helpful.
Overall a nice hotel which is ideally situated with the beach and town centre only a short walk away, close to the train station and a supermarket too which was a bonus.

The host was amazing! I think it was Alan or maybe Dean I can't remember hehe, but he made us feel welcome when we arrived. Explained about what we had on included with our booking like breakfast times and check out. The room was small, but cute and enough for our night stay, so made us feel cost and the bed was so comfortable! The breakfast service was lovely, and the food was so tasty too! Definately a great selection of all varieties for everyone, including fresh cut up fruit! Such great location to North Pier and the Blackpool North train station. Only a few minutes from the station and 5-10 from north pier!
Will definately be staying here again! Thank you for having us !
