A lovely stay!

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a lovely spacious room with a small outdoor courtyard, beds were really comfy and good shower pressure. Pool area is really nice, however did notice staff lacked a little attention to maintaining cleanliness (left over drink/food not removed for a long time, used towels left, and occasionally not recognising when fresh towels are needed for guests).

Breakfast was really good - good spread of western and Asian.

The hotel has bikes available to use which are much needed - around 10 minute cycle into Hoi An old town. The walk itself is around 30minutes.

The staff were really friendly to talk to and really appreciated them saying ‘welcome back’ everytime we returned to the hotel!

Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Good stay in Hoi An

Our stay was good, the hotel did allow us to check in early and kept our luggage after check out plus we where allowed to use the hotel park and rest area while waiting for our transport. Unfortunately, the Sauna and Steam bath were out of action due to leftover issues from COVID lockdown. Overall the start was good, the only thing not great was the breakfast as only western food was available.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Incredible service- we arrived at hoi an at 6:30 am and the staff let us check into our room early and gave us an upgrade. They also helped us arrange a ride to our next destination.
The room /hotel was very comfortable- great location, beautiful courtyard and pool. Loved this place!

Loved this place! Staff are wonderful and helpful. Grounds and gardens make for a beautiful setting. It’s quiet!
Free shuttle to town or beach as it’s smack bang in the middle of both. Otherwise a taxi was less that 45,000vnd to get to town.

Cute little place to stay in Hoi An, staffs are all nice and helpful, special thanks to staff named 'ha giang', she took us to the market before our cooking class, her English and Korean both fluent (as my cousins don't speak English). Breakfast was beautiful with variety of tropical fruits. They have a free shuttle to the beach and town centre which was useful. Thank you!

My sister and I arrived at Hoi An Garden Palace after been traveling for over three months. Out original plan was to stay for 3 nights and we ended up staying 11. The reception staff, especially Tu, were kind, helpful and went the extra to learn our names, and enquire about our day.
Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, local dishes as well as Continental, with plenty of fresh fruit, yogurt and baked goods.
The garden were beautifully maintained, so was the pool. The bus to the beach and town, was convenience and driver was helpful.

Upon arrival they explained that there was a booking issue so they moved us to their sister hotel located behind them. They also paid for my cab to them. We stayed at the Rosemary. It is lovely and the staff is wonderful. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about them. They even took me on one of their motorbikes to pick up dinner before departure train. The hotel itself is clean with a very yummy buffet breakfast and long enough swimming pool for some actual laps if you beat the pool crowd : ). I loved it.

Thanks to the Hoi An Garden Palace staff.

A bit out of the way of the best areas however we had a taxi in a minute or two and the cost of about A$2.50 to the centre of town is no great problem. The staff were amazing and the restaurant excellent if you chose to eat in. Hoi An is a pretty special place and brilliant at night especially around the water and the night markets. We recommend the hotel as a special place to say with the staff especially the bubbly Huen who made our stay unforgettable.

Really Enjoyable Stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Hoi An Garden Palace. Really friendly staff. Treated us so well and loved interacting with our son. Pool was great and is shaded in the afternoon. Clean rooms. Free bikes. Tasty buffet breakfast. Good location. We were able to ride to different beaches and Ancient Town easily. Free shuttle bus to Ancient Town and An Bang Beach, and when it wasn't working they paid for our taxi. Seems to attract friendly visitors. We met some nice people who we enjoyed hanging out with and chatting to. We were only booked for 3 nights, but extended it by 2 and were not disappointed. Thanks to Huyen and all the staff. Sorry I can't remember anyone else's names.

Hoi An Garden Palace & Spa a MUST!

Obviously wanted to get the best hotel for the $ and Hoi An Garden Palace & Spa was more than I expected! From the moment you enter (front hotel name could use a re-make) you are greeted with so much love. Vietnam has great service and they know how to make people feel welcome but this hotel was above and beyond. The room was bigger than I expected and me and my gf loved the hotel. The garden, the pool and breakfast was always a pleasure. The girls were so attentive and they really did everything they could to make you feel like royalty. I really did feel I was in a 5 star hotel though never stayed in one but this has to be the standard in which hotels are measured because it really was amazing. The breakfast was a combination of western food and of course Vietnamese food and the selection was pretty good. Location wise is not the best, a good 20 minute walk and with the heat, trust me you don't wanna walk this but instead of the bikes I found a place that rented motor bikes and for about 120,000 VND which is dirt cheap and then my gf and I just went there and back everyday in about 3 mins. Spa was great as well and they did offer great discounts for ppl staying at the hotel and it was pretty good, not like amazing but if you do one day then you'll probly do 2 days at the spa. Great hotel to really relax after the heat and the pool is naturally always warm. If you can try to request to get a room with the balcony facing the pool as we were facing behind and nothing to look at

Lovely clean comfortable quiet hotel near town

Fantastic stay - loved the pool, buffet breakfast, rooms and comfortable beds. Super helpful staff (our bags were lost and they did all they could to help - we got them back after 24 hrs) and everything was extremely clean. Our beds got made twice in a day! It is a beautiful building with pretty gardens. Our kids loved it.

Hotel staff are very friendly and work hard to make your stay easy and enjoyable. Location is half way between downtown & beach with free shuttles to both. The pool is nice, breakfast is ok. The bathroom layout is awkward making it difficult to get on & off the toilet seat, and the bathroom does not have a door to the bedroom, just a curtain. The rooms do have balconies which is nice. Best thing to do is hire a scooter. There’s a place 5 mins walk from the hotel which rents out scooters for US$5 per day!

A lovely character full hotel, very charmingly done with very friendly staff.

Rooms are clean and well fitted with brass details throughout. Good pressured shower and we had a very cute patio onto the gardens which was a treat.

Pool table was as fun bonus. The pool is great, decent size with plenty of sun beds and umbrellas. The spa is also worth a visit and is very fairly priced.

Overall a great price for a lovely stay, will defiantly go back.

Lovely second stay at this place. We love this hotel for a lot of reasons: extremely clean, very friendly staff, great breakfast, nice pool and gardens.

A special thanks to Nuyen, Tu and My who remembered us from last nice and made us feel very special special.

We have rarely seen a place being so well looked after: the staff is forever cleaning, scrubbing, sweeping, moping... the list goes on.

It is about 1.5km from the old town but you can use the hotel free bikes.

We can’t wait to be back next year.

A slice of France in Hoi Ann

We loved this place. We were welcomed into the hotel by Tu (I think that was her name!), she was very welcoming, sat down with us and explained what was nearby and things to do..she even did some research for us and booked our scooter tour from Hoi Ann to Hue, which was so nice of her!

The hotel was really nice, spacious and comfortable. The style was very similar to that of South France - you did not feel like you were in Vietnam! The pool was very comfortable and refreshing after a day out - drinks at the pool as well.

We got great value for money for what we paid - we were in a palace suite room and it was very spacious! I loved the bath and shower. They also provided a sundown service where they refreshed the room the evening before you get back in from your day out.

The hotel came with complimentary bikes, which were great to ride into the town centre (only 5min bike ride). It was in a great location. Although the beach is biking distance, we could definitely recommend renting a scooter for the day.

Good selection of breakfast food in the buffet really enjoyed it! The pho was really good!

The only downside to the hotel was that we were looking out to a construction site. We requested to be moved to another room and they moved us to another room overlooking half the pool and half the construction site - all done very quickly. Construction started at 7am but we barely heard it, so this was not an issue.

Recommend! A+

Used Hoi An Palace Garden in September 17 and returned for our 46th anniversary in March18 .
This hotel for us is an ideal place to relax for a few days situated between the beach and Hoi An old town with a free shuttle to both if required. The customer service is excellent and staff go the extra mile for their guests. Breakfast has a good choice of both hot and cold fare. We even got a cake on the day of our anniversary which was much appreciated ,the only problem was that we only had five days to enjoy our stay,hopefully our next stay will be a little longer.

The hotel is about 25 minutes walk from Hoi An. Definitely more suited to couples/families than solo travellers. Breakfast, especially the pancakes, were good. The room itself was spacious and clean but the double bed was two singles pushed together which wasn’t so comfortable. Pool was a good size and temperature and lots of sun loungers were available. “Fitness centre” was disappointing but to be expected given the price of the stay. The hotel staff were polite and welcoming but the “hard sell” to use the hotel taxi became annoying. Overall the hotel was good value for money.

Excellent, luxurious hotel for small family!

This is an excellent hotel for your stay in Hoi An. It is far enough from the city that you can relax and rest, but close enough that you can get to city center/shops/restaurants via the hotel free/frequent shuttle service. The hotel staff recommended two day trips for us via tour groups and we loved each one (My Son temples and Eco tour-water buffalo ride, local fishing, coconut boat ride). The room was amazing and very luxurious, even for a family of four. My husband enjoyed the spa service as well. Pool was clean, private, and enjoyable. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way and will make everyone's trip to Hoi An even more enjoyable.

Gorgeous but the construction noise a buzz kill

A gorgeous little hotel but two major downers: there is building happening around so the banging and drilling start at 7 in the morning. I wouldnt have minded but we spent a morning at the hotel to recover a bit from the holiday.

The room was not too clean. I had to ask the hair (that wasnt mine) to be swept up. An easy enough problem to fix.

Free shuttles to the old town is a bonus as it is just a little too far to walk.

We booked this place because we didn’t know whether to stay in the town or at the beach and it was somewhere between. As it was, it ended up being a bit cold and wet while we stayed so we only went to town. The hotel itself is very nice, we had a nice big room, the food was good and staff very helpful. There was free transport to town about once an hour (ask for the timetable when you arrruve) but it’s about 30 mins walk otherwise or a very cheap cab ride (about 50000 dong) if you miss the transport. We cut our stay short because of the weather but I’d happily stay there again. Has an outdoor pool (too cold yet use when we were there).

Nice Hotel and Excellent Staff

Very happy with hotel and staff. Our first night, we were put in a room at the back of the hotel. We were woken around 5.00am by both a yapping dog and a noisy cockerel, followed by noise from a construction site backing on to the hotel. Of course, the hotel cannot be responsible for this but once we informed them they immediately moved us to a larger room, this time facing the pool. Both rooms were good, well equipped and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and the staff were excellent, particularly their main receptionist, she was most helpful and friendly. Location is a little way out of the main town but it is a short and cheap taxi ride to get there and they are plentiful, or the hotel will order one for you. We had a free 30min massage included, which we upgraded to one hour each, plus my wife had a body scrub, all at further discounted prices. Spa was excellent, as were the treatments. December is not the best time to take advantage of the hotel pool and the nearby beach but when the weather is better, it is a great place to stay and very good value for money. Tip: ask for a pool view room.

This hotel is lovely. The rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast was delicious and the pool was beautiful and well-maintained. The staff took extra care in making sure our stay was pleasant and that everything was arranged for us. The location of the hotel is also quite central, with a frequent shuttle going to the city and beach area- alternatively you can also rent their free bicycles to bike to city or beach in 10 minutes.

Great hotel with great staff.

Lovely hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and attractive room. Slightly out of town but free bike hire. Free pool table (useful for us). Nice swimming pool. Great breakfast. It's a shame we could only stay one night.

Lovely palace!

Amazing service! Beautiful building! Special thanks to Tu (and another girl at reception whose name we didn’t get) for looking after us when we arrived early and throughout our stay.
Had a lovely massage during our time there, would recommend.
Also an evening of cocktails and looking out over the pool made up for the miserable weather, thanks to Phuong Flower at the restaurant for her help too.
We will be back!

Wonderful hotel with a unique 'old world' feel.

This place was a gem. On entering the reception of the hotel you were warmly greeted. On making our way through the gardens to our room we were taken by the french provincial architecture. It was clean well set out and the rooms were also generous in size. The service was authetically warm and nothing was of any trouble. The beds were also comfortable. Breakfast catered for all manner of taste and it was loverly to dine outdoors if you so wished. We were treated and felt like royalty. This was a genuine highlight of our visit to Hoi An. Highly recommended on all accounts.

Staff was a little over the top but very friendly and helpful, hotel was beautiful and clean.. decent location close to beach and ancient town.. breakfast was not included which we did not realize also pretty bland and expensive for what it was..overall one of the best hotels we stayed in Vietnam.

A little oasis in Hoi An

I loved everything about this hotel. The Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area was gorgeous and just what was needed after a day of sightseeing. The hotel rooms are set back from the road so noise isn't a problem. The rooms are spacious and clean and the breakfast was yummy.

Free bicycles to cycle around Hoi An was a nice touch.

Lovely boutique style hotel

The staff at this hotel are amazing There are only 46 rooms which makes for personalised service - they even brought my husband a cake for breakfast on his birthday! The rooms are not fancy but have all amenities needed with everything in working order and very clean. Additional towels were offered at turn down which was a nice touch. Buffet breakfast great. Pool area small but pleasant. Not much was actually useful in the gym (it's about to be updated)but you can always do laps of the pool instead. Hotel is a only a few minutes taxi ride to the action -or about a 30 minute walk. We highly recommend this hotel and their friendly helpful staff.

Tranquility in the bustling town

Garden Palace was a lovely hotel for us as a family of 5. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. The gardens, pool and setting made a lovely retreat in the afternoons after a day out in the bustling town. We cycled to most places and the friendly hotel staff helped out with all other arrangements. The reception area and some of the decor could do with a bit of an uplift but besides from that we couldn't fault this very comfortable 4 star hotel.

Very good hotel

Stayed at the Hoi An Garden Palace for 5 nights. This is a very well run hotel with friendly professional staff. We opted for a lower garden room, the room was large and well equipped. Everything in the room was in good working order and the bed large and comfortable. Breakfast consisted of nice selection of both Asian and western options. Although a little way out of Hoi An (20 minutes walk ) the hotel provides a free shuttle or bike. The area has a few good restaurants and bars close by , the Red Dragon is one the best we used in Vietnam. Special mention for the front desk staff who where always happy to help and made our stay a good one.
Would definitely recommend and will use this hotel again when in Hoi An

We had a wonderful five night stay. The service was exceptional and the pool a quiet oasis after a busy day shopping or sightseeing. Breakfasts were a nice way to start the day. Highly recommend.

Great time in Hoi An

A lovely hotel with attentive, friendly staff. The onsite facilities and services were great. Regular transfer bus into old town allowed you to visit after dark. Buffet breakfast was excellent, as was our lunch when we tried the restaurant. Pool was clean and just what you needed after a hot day sight seeing.

We stayed for our honeymoon. They had flowers and a cake ready on arrival. The staff were personal and very willing to cater to our needs.
Gorgeous room, lovely facilities, and in a great location between Hoi An ancient town and the beach.
Would absolutely stay here again.
