Beautiful room! Soaker tub, large king bed and the patio doors that opened up to a large patio was a great place to enjoy morning coffee. The bed was very comfortable and I must say the linen smelled so fresh !! The views are beautiful! Buffet breakfast had plenty of options. Super friendly staff.

Lovely place with giant, clean, beautiful rooms and a huge bed. Fantastic restaurant for lunch and dinner - everything is so fresh! Breakfast is good too but just all the usual suspects.

This is beautiful place surrounded by peaceful green paddy fields. There are local bars and restaurants and a regular shuttle bus to take you into Hoi An. All the staff were wonderful. We stayed 5 nights and loved it

Gia đình mình đi với con nhỏ và đã có chuyến nghỉ dưỡng tuyệt vời tại đây. Các anh chị nhân viên rất nhiệt tình, thân thiết và luôn giúp bế bé cho mình ăn hay chơi với bé. 2vc rất cám ơn chị Hạnh, chị Hồng, em Nga, anh Chính đã giúp set up tiệc sinh nhật cho bé Ý. Khung cảnh đồng lúa êm đềm, thoáng đãng và chỉ mười phút bắt xe là ra tới phố cổ Hội An. Lần sau quay lại nhất định phải ở lâu hơn 1 tuần nơi này.

The hotel is surrounded by rice paddies, which are peaceful and beautiful to look at over breakfast. The rooms and garden are lovely. The breakfast has a variety of delicious options. The location is a bit out of Hoi An, but the hotel has a free shuttle to and from the old town.

Just amazing.

We stayed here for 5 nights and we loved EVERY minute of it. The staff were the clear highlights of our stay. Every single one of them were so kind and just so helpful. We really got to know them after our 5 days and we were sad to leave. The breakfast was great as well. Being outside of the old town and within all the rice fields was just so nice. I can't wait to go back.

Our favorite hotel in Hoi An

We enjoyed our stay so much that we stayed an extra night. Our family included older family members, young adults, and a toddler. We enjoyed the rooftop pool and free bicycles. Right outside the hotel's doorsteps are so many different bicycle friendly paths that lead to picturesque rice fields and pleasant communes. It is easy to get to and from the beach and old town. We weren't in a hurry to take day trips, since we enjoyed the hotel's grounds. Our family took liking to their menu and food quality as well. They use local, fresh ingredients. As for the rooms, they have unique designs and decorations with nice views. The hotel focuses on being clean and keeping it looking new. The staff quickly tended to us when needed and also gave us good company. Pretty sure we will be returning very soon. This hotel is worth the price.

AMAZING!!!

We stayed here for 6 nights and loved everything about this small hotel. We didn’t want to leave. It’s located amongst the paddy fields so it’s quiet and peaceful. We used the free bikes to get to the beach it’s so easy less than 10 mins. Parked up at Hidden beach for the free loungers and umbrellas in exchange for buying their great food.
Chiic has lovely gardens and the restaurant delivers great food and drinks. The breaky was delicious and they have a huge selection of freshly squeezed juices each day. The rooms are huge and the bathrooms are cool with an outdoor bath and shower. The only negative we could find in this place was the pillows weren’t comfy but that was the only negative.
The staff here AMAZING!! So so friendly they bent over backwards to help us. They all smiled and said hello even the gardeners. It made this place even more special.
We will definitely come back here if we return.

Fantastic! Quiet, tranquil surroundings, away from the chaos of the town and yet only 10 minute cycle ride into town. Really lovely staff who couldn’t do enough for us 😊. Every room has a private outdoor seating area on shade (most welcome) for reading or enjoying a cocktail from the bar, lovely.

Fantastic , what a jewel of a hotel , set in the lush verdant paddi fields , it was so relaxing . The staff amazing , so helpful . Really enjoyed our time there , our only wish was that it could have been longer ........ free bikes and lifts into town , everything you could need .

Quaint little cozy hotel

A really nice and quaint hotel 5mins drive away from the bustling streets. The view out from the balcony was superb with sound of the nature. Despite the small hotel, they managed to have a nice little pool to cool yourself down in the hot weather. Everything about the room was perfect. Staffs were friendly and smiley.

However, my door wasn't locked twice when i returned as the housekeeper probably forgot. Nothing was lost though.

Perhaps something to take note is that a cemetry was opposite the hotel and chanting/sound can be heard in the early morning. Not recommended if you're a really light sleeper.

Also, i think the buffet variety could be more. Love the selection of fresh food juices though!

As much as my review above, I would come back for another stay in the future.

Take me back already!

We had the perfect stay here! Staff were beyond lovely, so welcoming and always happy to help. Free shuttle bus into town, free push bikes too. A short 5-10min from the centre of old town it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle without being too far out. Breakfast was absolutely delicious! the rooms were large and house keeping daily. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

A great retreat : small but very stylish

I liked the semi-rural setting, amidst the paddie fields--even if the local farmer was burning off the rice stubble.

I loved the look of this hotel from pictures on the Internet and was not disappointed once we arrived.
The staff are SO friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was amazing as was the breakfasts every morning. For a small hotel everything was just perfect.
We would truly go back there for another stay.

Beautiful, serene, friendly & away from the flood

After a couple of nights Hoi An Chic felt like home. The staff is so friendly, always trying to help and very attentive. And the location is fabulous: in the middle of the rice fields about 3km from town. The location turned out to be great because during our stay Hoi An flooded (all the streets of the old town, which usually only happens in October/November) and our hotel stayed well away from the flood and above the giant puddles! Highly recommend!

Amazing friendly staff, great laid back atmosphere

We stayed in a top floor suite, which was fabulous, air conditioning was a little noisy, but didnt spoil our enjoyment. The staff were all fantastic, so friendly and helpful. We borrowed bikes and rode into town, or you can use the WW2 US Jeep shuttle service.
Hoi an has some great tailors, we used Yaly- highly recommend.
Go to the Hidden beach, and use Vespa Adventures for a nightlife tour of the city and food and drink

Great value boutique eco hotel in awesome location

We had a delightful stay at Hoi An Chic Hotel - the hotel is so relaxing and peaceful, the room was spacious and well kitted out and the staff were so lovely, helpful, attentive, friendly and professional. We loved the location, which is halfway between the beach and the town. We visited both on the free bicycles borrowed from the hotel, which was a great way to get around the very flat countryside! Taxis to get in and out of town in the evening were also very cheap and convenient.

The breakfast was delicious, a great selection. We particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit juices.

The pool was also a great plus - kept very cool and a lovely setting.

Overall we thought the hotel was excellent value, and hope to visit again. Thank you for having us!

Very good hotel but I would give Hoi An a pass

We drove up from Danang. Danang looked interesting but China beach is now new luxury hotels and Casinos. Hoi An is disappointing unless you like shopping. A trip to the Buddhist ruins is only interesting if you have never been to Buddhist temple ruins before. If you have seen one elsewhere, give this one a big pass. The hotel is wonderful, quiet and very good meals but not within walking distance of anything. Renting a bike and biking around would be a good option.

Romantic and relaxing way to visit Hoi An

The hotel was perfect for us. It is in a quiet area on the edge of town and the hotel has routine shuttles into town and to the beach and rents free bicycles. The grounds are a beautiful garden and the rooms and well decorated and clean with cold A/C and modern bathrooms. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is very good with a range of Vietnamese and western food. I would definitely stay here again.

Lovely hotel with helpful staff!

I loved the Hoi An Chic! My husband and I had a great stay. The room was spacious and the staff was fantastic. The interior courtyard and breakfast area were both lovely. It was really hot when we were visiting and the staff did everything they could to make sure our room was cool enough for my husband who suffers from the heat. It was a short cab ride away from town and they easily arranged our transportation into town and to the nearby beach. We actually cancelled a night in Hue to stay longer at the hotel and enjoy Hoi An because we liked the hotel and area so much. I loved the warm and friendly atmosphere, the delicious breakfast including wonderful fresh juice, and our huge room was so nice. We also had our laundry serviced here since it was the middle of our trip and they did a great job with that at a reasonable price. They also had good restaurant recommendations. The Hoi An Chic was a real highlight on our trip through Vietnam.

this place is a respite from culture shock...

couldn't have been better. cool location...roosters, rice paddies, farmers quietly going about their business...temple gongs and bells...calm, away from the craziness of the crazy street traffic. staff was very attentive, friendly, accommodating and fun...easy bike borrowing whenever the mood strikes...breakfast is stellar! pool is lovely and beautifully designed. easy rides arranged to beach, town and airport.

Great hotel, amazing room set up. Clean and only a short taxi ride to the main Hoi Ann area. Staff were so pleasant and went out of the way to help with anything! Only negative was the water pressure in the shower. It wasn't very strong and it went from hot to cold at times. But regardless of this I would definitely stay again.

Perfect hotel. It's a about a 20 minute walk to Hoi An old town but you see a lot on the way. The hotel also offers a free shuttle service in some of the coolest Jeeps in Nam. I find it difficult to identify anything wrong with the place!

This hotel was incredible. The room was beautiful, and the peaceful setting was heavenly. Breakfast buffet (free) had many choices, including at least 8 different fresh juices to choose from (coconut lime & watermelon were my personal favorites). I plan on returning & making this hotel my destination point. Free bicycles, maximum of an easy 10 minute ride to Ancient Town. The staff was professional, friendly, helpful - and excelled beyond my expectations in every way. I can not say enough positive things about this hotel & HIGHLY recommend it. Loved it!!!

Fantastic and friendly hotel

We loved this place. It was nestled into a quiet neighbourhood with rice paddies as it's surrounds. We would borrow the bicycles everyday and ride to where ever we wanted to go, which was never really any more that 10 - 15 minutes away, and the staff we always so helpful to give us tips on where to go and what to see. The room was beautiful and we loved waking up there each morning. The bed was big and comfortable and the bathroom was well appointed and very well designed. The other hotel guests we felt we very similar to ourselves and showed respect for one another, as noise was kept to a minimum. Everyone was just great here, if we ever find ourselves in Vietnam in the future we will certainly book here again.

Hotel was disappointing to us

Hotel was disappointing to us after reading so many great reviews although I must admit we don't stay in too many 3 star hotels. There was a very bad smell in hotel room and we asked to check other rooms and they showed us immediately other rooms although it seems this same smell is in all the rooms so we stayed put in our room since it was just 2 nights. Rooms are very big and well designed although all fabrics in the room are very dated which along with the bad smell gave a very bad feeling about the room. We booked this hotel mainly because of the tranquil location that we were expecting and the breakfast in the reviews sounded positive. Breakfast is a 2 out of 5, fruits are very nice and good selection although everything else could have been improved with better quality ingredients. Please don't think that your in secluded rice patty fields when reading reviews you are in a little village across from a cemetery. its not bad, I just don't think that it is warranted all of these 5 out of 5 reviews. Location is good that it is located not far from beach and old town and nice to be able to ride the bikes (just make sure the chain is secure on yours as it popped of ours a few times!) and the WW2 jeep is a nice touch as long as you only want to use it during the evening as its not available during the day when it is off giving tours. Staff are very friendly and very helpful agree with everyone on this.

Exceptional hotel, exceptional staff!

We chose 2 nights at the Hoi An Chic in the rice fields followed by 3 nights at the Hoi An Boutique to balance a little countryside and beach. The Chic hotel is amazing. It is superbly equipped for the price range and the styling is fantastic throughout. The staff are hugely attentive, personal and polite - Vanessa and Anna who ran the front desk whilst we were there were lovely and waved us off and greeted us every time we came in or out of the hotel. They provide a WW2 jeep to take you to and from the town adn beach which is a great experience, the food is extremely good and there's a roof top pool looking over the farmland. Great choice for a couple or a pair of couples looking to see a bit more rural Vietnam with all of the benefits of a fantastic hotel.

Once again, staff were a huge part in this success of our stay and we couldn't praise them highly enough.

We stayed at the Hoi An Chic hotel for 6 nights at the end of September and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this hotel in its peaceful and relaxing setting. On arrival at the hotel we were greeted by big smiles from the reception staff. The check in process was very efficient. We stayed in a ground floor room, which was lovely. The room was large and uniquely decorated. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Free water and fruit are provided daily. The room was serviced twice a day, if required. The large bed was very comfortable. Wifi works brilliantly everywhere. The bathroom was a great size with an excellent shower and outside bathtub. The air conditioning is super efficient. The buffet style breakfast was very good and included so much choice. I loved all the fruit juice options, homemade yoghurt and the small lemon muffins. We eat in the hotel restaurant several times overlooking the paddy fields and loved the local fish and pork dishes which we thought were reasonably priced compared to local restaurants. We also had lunch, and really liked the 'combo'. The hotel is in a superb location surrounded by beautiful countryside that you can explore by bike or on foot. It is about 2km to the old town, 3km and 5km to beaches. We loved Hidden Beach. We used the free bikes most days and took advantage of the free jeep shuttle service. The staff are always smiling and so friendly.

Absolutely perfect

My partner and I stayed for 3 nights and couldn't rate this hotel higher. It's more of a resort - each room has their own terrace, a beautiful if room with laptop, TV, fridge etc - all mod coms. A bathroom with his and her sinks and even an outdoor shower / bath. The pool is gorgeous - just the right size to do a few lengths in the morning. The service was implacable and they arranged everything for you - they even have American war keeps shuttling you for free to and from the town (about 10 mins away) and free bikes you can hire at any time - we went to the beach (about 10 mins away) which was perfect. They lay out kimonos and flip flops for you at bedtime, they were very Eco-friendly, everything was thought of. We has been travelling up the coast and needed some relaxation time, we can't recommend this enough if you're looking for the same thing. The breakfast and good provided was also spot on - absolute perfection. Wish we could go back!!!

The hotel was lovely with really great staff who were so friendly and helpful. We loved our room especially the bathroom with its outdoor bath and shower. The attention to detail is really good with laptops free wifi, stereo system and TV in the room. Breakfast selection was great and really tasty, the restaurant itself has a lovely outlook onto the rice fields. The pool area is beautiful and we had it all to ourselves at the times we went swimming. On the downside the hotel is located outside of the town but you can easily get a taxi for about €2 which is fine. The hotel itself is so quiet in the evening with no bar or evening entertainment available, the reception closes about 9.30 10.00 so the hotel is almost in complete darkness from that time. All in all a lovely hotel but could benefit from more entertainment/facilities in the evening.

Relaxing!

This place is great! Amongst the rice paddys, and only 5/10 mins from the town. The hotel staff are amazing so friend and accomadating! Hotel has a jeep that departs at certain times (free) which is great! If you want to go outside of these times it's only 50,000($2.50). Took us to hidden beach, relaxing few hours and food on the beach front was lovely. Rooms are lovely, same as pictures on website- pool lovely! Is on the rooftop of the restaurant. This resort has such a friendly, relaxed feel especially after travelling in HCMC and Nha Trang. Would highly reccomend. We also had our 2.5 yr old who just loved the staff!!! The tailoring in town is great! We didn't plan on buying a thing, $700 later we are all stocked with a new wardrobe! Just get on your favourite websites and they will replicate the exact thing!

We are currently staying at a well known 5 star hotel in Hue (pilgrimage village) which we thought would be better but I'm afraid it's not a tad on the Hoi An Chic! It feels somewhat odd giving a hotel such a stellar review, but they deserve it. We stayed 5 nights and our room (a \"family room\") was beautiful - lots of stone and wood. The breakfast was also marvelous. The location, by bicycle, is 10 minutes to town - a good break from the busyness of Hoi An. Each day after breakfast, we'd hop on the \"free\" hotel bikes and either bike to town or to An Bang Beach. Some of the staff made a point of memorizing our first names - not something I've ever seen at a hotel. The hotel is located on the edge of the rice paddies, so you can walk or bike out on the paved trails to visit the duck farms, chickens, and water buffalo.

A wonderful experience in this small , but extremely well maintained resort.
Very friendly staff, impeccable cleanliness, superb local management, great food, away from the busy city of Hoi An and the heat from the beaches, this hotel is an ideal place to chill out and take a little break!
Would recommend to anyone willing to spend a lovely week-end/break , and relax.

We stayed at the Hoi an Chic hotel for 9 nights in June. The hotel is in beautiful surroundings of rice paddies and has a relaxing atmosphere. The staff are fantastic and will do anything they can to help you. The service was first class throughout our entire stay. Breakfast had a very wide choice and the fruit smoothies were delicious. We ate in the restaurant for lunch and dinner - again the food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The rooms are amazing. They are clean, spacious and have all the facilities you require. The air conditioning is excellent! You can take free bicycles from the hotel and bike into the town or to the beach. There are free towels to use at the beach or by the pool too. Overall this hotel is a little slice of paradise and we 100% recommend it.

Amazing!

This is the most beautiful boutique hotel I encountered in Vietnam. The rooms are beautifully done, huge beds, outdoor bath and shower and the grounds are gorgeous. I enjoyed many a gin and tonic sitting and staring out in to the surrounding paddy fields. It's really peaceful and quiet and the staff are wonderful. Free bikes to use so you can check out the local area. It is a bit out of the main town of Hoi An but it's easy to get around and you are close to the beaches aswell. Breakfast was plentiful, not fantastic. Pool is lovely. Cannot recommend this place highly enough! If this is a little out of your budget try lemongrass homestay which is a 30 second walk and is the sister to Hoi an chic. It's much smaller but finished to the same high standard, more personal as there's only a few rooms. No pool but you are free to use the pool at Hoi an chic. Staff went out of their way to be super friendly to me as I was staying there on my own whilst at lemongrass. Hoi an itself is an absolute must!

Small ,very friendly hotel,staff charming and efficient. Room spacious, huge comfortable bed , even a laptop in the room. Little things really, no table adjacent the bed to put your bits on , light switches the same.
Roof top pool the main disadvantage , full of 7 children on my visit , chaos, no room to move.
Breakfast good but mostly standard fare, fruit juice fresh and glorious.
It is halfway between Hoi An and the beach, so transport a necessity, although hotel has a shuttle a few times per day. Very few restaurants in the local area.
Suitable for the over 60s who simply want piece and quite, even that is not strictly true as a small temple opposite.
My view is that other hotels offer greater value for money

Great little hotel just outside the city

This was probably our favourite hotel whist travelling through Vietnam. The staff were friendly, the room was lovely - included was a outside bath, which I loved! Our room overlooked the paddy fields, and we made full use of the rooftop pool. A free shuttle service (in a jeep) gets you into the town centre in about 10 mins, and the beach is only a short cycle away - although we chose to get a taxi up to An Bang which is only 5km or so. The only let down was the food, which was pretty average. Other than that, a great stay!

Stunning intimate private hotel

A beautiful hotel in every way. Perfect if you like a small, quiet, quality place to stay that is away from the busy streets. Plenty of space in the rooms, well laid out, clean. Swimming pool. Brilliant restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. its also a bar for drinks and cocktails. WiFi and a laptop in each room. Couldn't for more from the staff or facilities. Newspapers daily, tours organised etc etc etc.

Brilliant service; wished we stayed longer.

Nice hotel. Great rooms. Fantastic service. Very friendly staff. Free jeep shuttle to Hoi An old town. Free bicycles to ride around. Rooms are well appointed, comfortable and spacious. Bed could do with a few extra pillows. Was glad to find a laptop set up at the desk. We had an open air bath that was just perfect for unwinding after a long day exploring the old town on foot. The buffet Breakfast was quite good for a small hotel. The food was fresh and tasty. There was a good choice of fresh fruit and juice every day. We couldn't unfortunately indulge in the spa or pool on our short stay. The location is not as idyllic as I expected it to be. While the hotel is bordered by a paddy field it isn't quite away from it all. It is however well located between the old town in one direction and the beach on the other. We look to return here and stay longer.

A perfect honeymoon in hoi an

Hoi an chic hotel was just what we were looking for for our honeymoonin hoi an - the rooms were large and luxurious, the staff were friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is located half way between the beech and the town, but this gave a perfect opportunity to do some cycling - there is a shuttle bus if you prefer. Highly recommended.

Nice Hotel

Great hotel if you want to take things slow and chill out. The staff are very helpful and the hotel rooms are done up beautifully. it is about 5-10 mins from the Old quarter and about 5 minutes from the beach. The hotel provides a Jeep service to pick/drop off 4 times a day in the old quarter so you just have to plan around those times. You can also borrow a bike free of charge from the hotel reception to ride around.

The best hotel I stayed at whilst in Vietnam

This is a surprisingly great hotel. I say surprisingly because of the price and unassuming look from the outside. The rooms were fantastically appointed with outside showers and baths (the good kind where it's private!) Pool area is beautiful and the surrounding rice fields are amazingly calming. They provided bikes for free and shuttles into town in a VERY cool old US army jeep. (We got jealous stares and pics when we rode:)
And lastly the service. Better than any 5 star hotel I've stayed at all over the world. They were all friendly without being over powering and genuinely interested in making our stay comfortable and a nice experience.
The organised a transfer to Hue for us that was supposed to be a private tour car. In the end it wasn't and I wasn't happy. I complained by email that it was more like a taxi as the guide could t speak a word (not 1) of English and could t understand us when we wanted to stop. They refunded us the difference between the price we paid and a cab with no questions asked immediately. Now that is service you won't find much of in Vietnam (especially after they have your money)

A lovely hotel in a quiet area. From the moment we arrived we felt like we had been welcomed into a family. The room was great from the king size bed to the outdoor shower and the first hotel we have stayed in where they not only have free wifi but have a laptop in the room for guests' use. But what really makes this place is the staff - the most friendly and helpful of any hotel we have stayed in.

The Hoi An Chic Hotel is a beautiful, small facility conveniently located between the town and the beach. The rooms are modern, clean and beautifully appointed. I especially liked the porch and the outdoor shower. The staff are very responsive and friendly, the food is excellent and the infinity pool is beautiful. I recommend this hotel for anyone planning a trip to Hoi An. We wished we had stayed another night.

Lovely hotel situated away from all the beach resorts & out of Hoi An town. Unusually decorated & well equipped large rooms. Good food & drinks at reasonable prices. Very helpful & friendly staff. Altogether a different place to stay - if you go you won't fail to be pleased. We'd definitely go again. Minor gripes: water pressure wasn't great on the 2nd floor where our room was; the pool area needs more shade available.

Fantastic hotel

The Hoi An Chic is a best kept secret. It's location is half way between the beaches and the old town but away from the hustle and noise of the streets and set amongst paddy fields, and so is blissfully quiet. The hotel was only 5 months old when I stayed (June 2013) and it shows as everything is brand new, clean and of a high standard - where as other hotels in Hoi An are a little dated. The staff are brilliant and are really friendly and welcoming - I even got a goodbye hug when I left! You can borrow bikes for free and cycle around Hoi An and they even offer a free tour of the local area on a bufffalo cart! I dont need to add any photos as the hotel is exactly as their website shows - immaculate, peaceful and perfect.

Excellent choice between beach and old town.

This hotel is located about 4 km from old town, and this may not suit everyone. The service, ambience and facilities are excellent for the room rate. The restaurant serves tasty food at a reasonable price. I particularly liked the roof top infinity pool which overlooked vast adjacent rice fields. The best asset of the hotel was the wonderful staff, and I really enjoyed my stay.

An oasis of calm in ideal location

Situated both 2km from Hoi An old town and the beach set back from the road surrounded by paddy fields allows you to watch Vietnam life pass by inobtrusively
The staff are all very friendly helpful and eager to please in this new hotel
The 17 rooms are spacious and finished to a very high standard with attention to detail
We were in a Family room which included 2 showers and 2 wcs as well a bath with shower over a computer and 2 tvs
Cycles were free when we visited allowing us to cycle to the beach and into town
The hotel shuttle also free was an ex USarmy jeep great for upto 3 people but a squeeze for 4
Food was fresh well prepared and varied the buffet breakfast was sufficient and a mix of Western and Vietnamese and well stocked
The pool was set on the roof and easily accessible

The hotel is an oasis - so calm and comfortable. The grounds and the rooms are well maintained and there is clearly an attention to detail. We loved the outdoor shower and the balcony. The amenities such a a lap top in the room, bikes to use to go to the beach or town were also really useful.

This is Hoi An's best hotel

We booked for one night and stayed an additional 2 nights. This beautifully and meticulously decorated hotel is located amongst a peaceful rice paddy away from the hustle and bustle of downtown HoiAn. Rooms have indoor and outdoor showers, two vanities and outdoor patios. Beds are comfy and massive.
The staff is genuine and helpful. You will not find another hotel like this in HoiAn and we were lucky to get a room considering their popularity and limited rooms.
My fiancee and I really loved this place.
