The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and comfortable- beds a little hard for me - but that’s a personal choice. Breakfast very good- but coffee could be better. The hotel has a free bus that takes you to the beach and old town several Rome’s per day. Overall a very pleasant stay.

awesome stay and nice down town!

they staff is very friendly and helpful. it's not mainly in downtown but the local area is quite nice and you find something to eat. the pool is a bit hot.
the stay was great there. the most we appreciated the free shuttle to down town and to the beach - awesome service! (beach shuttle could maybe drive a bit longer in the evening (: )

This is an older property, but still quite nice. The staff are outstanding and will help in any way. The pool is nice but could do with a clean, but still ok to swim in. The property offers a scheduled free bus service to both the town centre and the beach at various times of the day.

The hotel was comfortable and staff were very helpful. We used the hotel free shuttle to visit Hoi An Town and the hotel’s beach. It all worked well. The Restaurant Manager, Nina, and all the staff were friendly and usually smiled.

The only thing we did not like was the hotel’s location was 2.5 km from Hoi An Town. We like to walk and this location challenged our usual approach of walking places. The hotel shuttle was helpful but the schedule did not always meet our needs.

Great Hotel in Hoi An!

This hotel was great for what we were looking for, half way between the beach and the historic old town and a shuttle to both. The service was outstanding, the grounds were kept immaculately and the rooms are very clean. The breakfast was really over the top, great cut fresh fruit, several hot items including made to order eggs, sweet pastries, etc. We were impressed. The pool area was well maintained but maybe not suitable for little children as there was no shallow end, but great for adults. We stayed about a week and would have loved to stay longer.

Simply wonderful Hotel, amazing staff, a must see.

In my opinion This is the best places to stay in Hoi An, the rooms are spacious with really comfortable beds, all rooms seem to have at least one balcony which is great, wonderful showers too. The staff are quite simply amazing, nothing
Is too much for any of them, we love them. They always have a genuine smile, enquire about your day / night and so professsional, Special mention must go to
Jane, Emily, Sen, Miu Miu, Giung. Apologies guys if I spelt anyone’s name wrong. See you next year without a doubt.

Good hotel, great breakfast, easy to walk into town 10min or take cheap taxi, avoid massage place opposite not good. Its not very close to town, but in a good area that's more local.
Viet restaurant next door good, Dingo Deli café nearby very nice.

Great hotel

Really nice hotel. We had two connecting rooms which was perfect for our family of 4. The staff were excellent, pool was really nice and the breakfast was good. Free bike hire was a bonus which we used regularly. They also provide a shuttle to the old town and beach, which they have a private area with free sun beds. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very noisy and there was very little storage space. We paid for an upgrade to a room with a balcony but the balcony had no privacy as it was shared with the room next door.

Great breakfast - but....

The hotel itself is ok . The beds could use some “comfort” upgrade, and the floor may have been swept, but I never found it to be mopped clean. The noise - the noise is not the hotel’s fault, but the surrounding neighborhood was loud. We also stayed during the first few day of TET and the loud speakers announcements and horrid music was LOUD at (OMG!) 4:30AM. The staff was great and the breakfast was superb. Location to beach and Old Town is ok as they provide both shuttle bus and bicycles for free. i’d Give it a 3.5 of 5, but next time I’d look at a few others before booking.

An excellent hotel

This is an excellent hotel situated between the old town and beach. The hotel provide a shuttle bus for residents to both. The rooms are a bit dated but spacious and really clean with good quality beds and bedding.

The breakfast is provided in a large dining area. The variety of food is good and is constantly replaced after being taken by guest.

I have saved mentioning the staff until last. The weather when my wife and I stayed was cold and unseasonably but the staff who were obviously finding it difficult were happy friendly and helpful throughout our stay.I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to other travelers

Lovely hotel, Wonderful service

This hotel is lovely. The pool is wonderful to have on the hot and humid days where you just want to lounge around and dip into the pool to cool off. The free shuttle bus into the town centre and the free bicycle hire are fantastic as the hotel is a couple of kilometres out from the city centre. The staff are amazing - they are very friendly, helpful, accommodating and attentive and could not have done any better!

Great Hotel, Great Staff

We spen four nights at the Lotus Hotel and wished we were staying longer. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and coudn’t do enough to make sure you were enjoying your stay. The rooms were comfortable and quiet, space enough to rest up from the day’s activities. The highlight of the stay was the Eco Tour and Cooking Demonstration - a really must do. The tour started with a guided bicycle ride to a spot on the river where we took a tub boat tour through the water coconut trees. Cycling back to the hotel via the local market was a great insigh into the way the locals lived. Back at the hotel we were given a introduction into local cooking by the Head Chef and assisted in the preparation fo three local dishes, which we then had for lunch. All up, one of the best experiences we had in Vietnam and highly recommended. Many thanks to our terrific guide Enly!

The hotel amendities and staff were great but I didn't end up having a decent sleep due to the rooster on call am 3am, then 3:30am, then 4:00am, then 4:30am so on....
I think I only got about 4 hours sleep in total.

Fantastic accommodation,all staff were very friendly ,helpful about local knowledge,places to visit and where to shop.
Essentially they could not do enough to make sure we were happy wit our holiday.
The hotel meals were great,and, all prices good,about the same as shopping locally without having to go out into the extremely busy local shopping area.
I would definitely recommend to others and rate the hotel as way above the 3star rating.
Pool just great, free transport to beaches,old town,both about 10 mins from hotel driving,they even charged my iPad daily without cost and always with a friendly smile.
Great location,free push bikes,for those who dare to go into local very very busy traffic....yes we did try the bikes,and,had a daring day on motorbikes as well
I would rate this hotel at least 4star,so clean and friendly,just perfect.
Ps take local staff advice on where to shop ,way better than dealing with old town market,where the prices seem to depend on what they think you can afford/or where you are from .
Do not buy at market until you have had a good look around and avoid any deals with the tailors until you have checked prices with those nearby the hotel or recommended by hotel,same for shoes.

Lovely Staff, great location

Beautiful grounds, great pool, friendly warm staff. The rooms are clean and spacious, ours had a balcony overlooking the grounds. Stepping off the busy street, you feel you are in a hidden oasis. There were 9 of us (4 adults and 5 kids) and we were able to book bikes for the whole day as long as we told the staff the day before. a 15 minute bike ride to the left took us to the beautiful beach where the hotel has a private strip for guests; to the right took us into the old town. Within walking distance is the local market where we often went for an authentic Ban Mi (bread with meat).

Wonderful welcoming base for exploring Hoi An

We stayed in June for a week as part of a large group for a wedding. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accomodating. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, breakfast was delicious, also highly reccomend the BBQ buffet if you're there on the nights they do one! The pool was lovely but in the hot weather the water was pretty warm which was a shame. Reallly the only downside. I had a massage which was incredible, and there are free bikes for hotel guests which you can take to the beach (15-20 min ride or 5 mins in a taxi/free shuttle bus), or Hoi An old town (10 mins by bike or a few mins by taxi/shuttle). We also rode through the rice paddies nearby and saw buffalo. An amazing week!

Fantastic hotel, great location, great staff!

We are a mid twenties couple that ended up staying a week at this hotel in Hoi An. The staff were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious with lovely balconies to sit out on. We used their free bikes to bike to old town and the beach but they also offered a free shuttle numerous times through out the day. The free breakfast was amazing! All the fresh fruit you could imagine, ready made omelettes and so much more. I would highly suggest this hotel if you are looking for a good price point that offers serious bang for your buck!

We loved our stay at the Lotus hotel. We arrived on new years day which is also a Sunday and the hotel hadn't received our booking confirmation. It was no problem they checked us in saying we could sort things out the next day. The room was lovely, breakfast varied and delicious and the staff couldn't have been nicer. There is a free shuttle bus into town or you can use their bikes for free. We were sorry to leave and would definitely head back there hopefully sooner rather than later.

Beautiful hotel, lovely, spacious room with balcony. Immaculately clean. Great breakfast. A little bit away from the town centre but free shuttle, free use of bikes and very inexpensive taxis made it no issue at all. Everything about this hotel is perfect, but the best thing about it is the fantastic staff. Every single staff member in this hotel contributes to making it a great place to stay. Nothing was too much trouble, they were all so friendly and helpful and kind. They truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing time. Definitely would stay here again.

Half day bicycle ride with Heavan and Earth excellent, near buy restaurants Red Draggon outstanding had a cooking class with chief Wynne also excellent. Also for great eating Lucky restaurant 2 minutes from Hotel awesome people and Hia Cafe in old town outstanding. Had 9 days in Hoi An loved every day spent heading back next. Also highly recommend massage place across the road from the hotel outstanding Lee the owner and Aunty from the clothes making shop next door couldn't be more helpful towards our staff.

A little oasis in Hoi An

Spatious and modern room and modern bathroom. The staff was really nice and always eager to help. The breakfast was really good, a lot to choose from! The hotel had a beautiful little garden, which really made you feel peaceful after the hectic Hoi An. The swimming pool, however smaller than it looks in the pictures, was really good and a nice way to cool yourself down after a day in town. It takes about 10-15 minutes with bicycle into town, and since it was so easy to borrow bicycles from the hotel, we never thought that as an issue. Earlier, we stayed one night really central in Hoi An, but it didn't make much of a difference. One night we used the free shuttle which runs about 4-5 times a day into town. We really really liked this hotel, a lot for your money! The only negative thing was the air condition - although it cooled the air nice enough, it have both of us a sore throat, I guess it has something to do with the humidity? Hasn't happened with any other AC during our six weeks of travelling.

Little paradise between the beach and old town.

From the moment we arrived to thmoment we left, the staff were helpful, friendly and always smiling. The rooms are a decent size and very clean. Bathrooms are also pretty updated and no issues with hot water. The pool is amazing.

The staff are also very helpful when trying to get around,booking trips or other transports services.

There is a free shuttle to the beach ( wheree you get a your own beach hair and towels), and a freeshuttle to center town. Plus free bicycles to use to get around.

Overall great experience and highly recommend to anyone looking for a little relaxing time.

The hotel was a lovely little oasis away from the old town. We ate on site twice and the food was lovely. Rooms were suburb for the price we paid and the free bikes were great to get to the beach on. They also provide a free shuttle to the old town and beach so you don't miss out on anything because you are out of town

This was one of the best hotels we stayed at I am Hoi An, the rooms were very neat and tidy and the service was really good. They have their own private beach down the road as well. I highly recommend borrowing the free push bikes and riding into town or the beach.

We found Lotus hotel to be every bit as good as the reviews. From the time we arrived the staff were very welcoming and friendly and always helpful. The hotel is very nicely decorated and well maintained and all areas are kept very clean. The rooms are not large but the beds are comfortable and there are chairs in the room so you do not have to sit on the beds. We also had a lovely little balcony overlooking the garden. The pool area is very pleasant and a great place to cool off and relax after some serious sightseeing. We made very good use of the free bicycles to explore the surrounding countryside. The free shuttle bus made several trips to and from the ancient town and the beach every day. The breakfast selection was very good and always plentiful.

Nice small hotel central to beach and old town

We had nothing to fault at this hotel. It was midway between the beach and the old town, they provided both a shuttle and free use of bikes, and if these weren't available the taxi fare was minimal anyway. The rooms were clean and tidy and breakfast was very good, with a large selection. Once again, as in most of Vietnam, the best part of the hotel was the staff,very pleasant and helpful. On my last day there I was approached by the Hotel Manager and the Catering manager to ask my opinion on the hotel and food, which I thought was a nice touch. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel with a real Indochine feel

Nice rooms, spacious. About 3kms out of town but getting a cab is no issue for about $2 aud. They also have bikes if you choose to take on the passing traffic.
Overall I think the hotel was great, beds were comfortable. The only thing I'd be wary of is the rooster next door, so if you're a light sleeper take some ear plugs. However I think it might be a little hard to find a place away from roosters in this part of Vietnam.

We had a fantastic stay at Lotus Hoi An Boutique Hotel & Spa. The location is great – between the Old Town & Cua Dai Beach with Free Shuttle Bus & Bicycles. The accommodation and grounds are lovely. From our first step into our room which smelt like fresh lemongrass & we were very impressed with the room decoration & cleanliness. The breakfasts was very good, plenty of choice and good service, we loved some local foods they prepared for the buffet. We enjoyed dinner at hotel restaurant and it was great .Swimming pool is a must!.What really stood out was the amazing staff - they were friendly and helpful and just really nice to be around. This was true of the service desk, housekeeping, the meal chefs and staff, and everyone we encountered in the building and on the grounds.
While all the hotels we had stayed in Vietnam were very nice and very comfortable, Lotus Hoi An stood out for us.
Would definitely stay here again and recommend for anyone visiting Hoi An.

My wife and i stayed 3 nights at the lotus. The staff are very friendly and helpful with any enquiries. They booked us tours and provided us with a map of the area. The facilities are great, good size pool rooms are spacious and very clean. I would highly recommend the lotus hoi an hotel.

Budget price for a luxurious hotel

The room was clean and very spacious. We enjoyed the balcony and bathtub in our room as well as the swimming pool in the hotel. The hotel is located in the middle of the Hoi An city and the beach, so it took some time to get to the both sites, but we managed it well with bikes and taxis.

This hotel is not in a good location for visiting Hoi An. You need to get the (infrequent) shuttle, or a taxi in to Hoi An to do anything. The staff are not helpful, and the rooms are basic. We had booked 3 nights here but only stayed for 1, then we moved to a hotel in the Hoi An centre.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Lotus Hoi An. Le personnel est d'une gentillesse inégalée. Ils sont toujours prêts à exaucer le moindre de nos désirs. Le buffet déjeuner est varié avec un choix de mets occidentaux et asiatiques. La navette gratuite pour la plage ou la vieille ville est très commode. Il y a un bon choix de restos aux alentours. There were few Asians and many west foreigners. And I could feel the vibe of Vietnam. I asked the staff a lot of requests, but they all kindly informed me. I recommend you to stay here next time.

저렴한 가격, 식사, 조그만 풀장 모든게 맘에 들었다. 하지만 후기에 나와있는 닭울음 소리는 정말 싫었다. 닭울음소리만 없다면 다음에 또 갈것 같다.
옆집 식당들 좋았고, 바레 재래시장안에 김치도 파네요. 호이안 외곽이지만 불편하지 않네요. 안방비치 호이안까지 셔틀있어서 1번 타보았네요.
조용한 현지 모습 느끼기에는 딱인것 같아요.
