The location couldn't be better, a few minutes walk to the beach. We found wonderful restaurants up the beach especially Angel's.
We had a 4th floor ocean view room and it was well worth the extra cost. The balcony was a great bonus.
Construction is happening but we found it entertaining and not at all distracting. It will be an amazing place when complete.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and all very modern /sleek.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
We will definitely stay here again.

Stayed here 5 times now. Property is under construction which I DID know when I booked. Huge improvements every time I come. The construction was not a bother as evening and nighttime were quiet. Construction is everywhere though so be aware. They do their best to keep things neat and clean while working. Rooms are upgraded, clean and comfortable. AC works perfect and the hot water flows wonderfully. Management prioritizes guest comfort. I will come back again for sure.

First , tbe hotel was in the middle of complete renovation. There was scaffolding accross the balconies, exposed wiring, uneven walkways and steps, construction people working on all floors and debris everywhere. There was no sound insulation from the loud beach party accross the street that lasted past 2:00 am.. The shower had no shelving, so the shampoo bottles were on the floor.

The pictures looked completely different from reality. Even the \"beach access\" photo was photoshopped to take out the large moss-covered, jagged boulders that prevented beach access.

I have photos to.prove it.

We left the hotel a day early, and received a partial refund.

A truly regrettable experience start to.finish.

We were really excited about our trip until we arrived we saw that the whole building was under construction, which is something that was never mentioned to us days prior when we had called. The pool was closed and was also never mentioned to us. Construction was extremely loud and didn’t let us rest since they arrived early at 7 AM and left late throughout the day at 7 PM . Not only that but the shower was poorly installed, the water went all over the bathroom floor since there was no incline for the water to leave correctly. Internet was also bad and never worked, when we first arrived we called in regards of the internet and were told that it would be temporary but ended up never working the tv also never worked since Wifi wasn’t available. The wall next to us was also under construction which made the room very cold.

The hotel was okay, but it could have been better. They should have notified us about the construction and maintained the pool area. I expected a bartender at the poolside, but there wasn’t one. The pool area was quite noisy due to nearby traffic. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the multiple rooms being updated too early for comfort made it uncomfortable. Overall, it was an average experience.

This is a dog friendly hotel which my dog has stayed in many. We stayed there for 4 days we had dirt and sand from ocean i whiped my make up off ect. They made us pay $1000 peso as a deposit. They said the room smelled and things were stained. Gizzy was always clean we got dirty of course everything was white. They charged us. $600. The pool was very cold. No fridge no microwave. The staff there was very nice till we left. Great location Mannys is across the road.

They didn't mention that the \"ocean view\" (over a parking lot that was very brightly lit all night) was on the fourth floor in a building where the elevator was out! Not out of a service for a day, but removed during construction. Shower didn't drain properly so after an inch had accumulated, it started spilling onto the bathroom floor. Their fix? Towels to block the water flow. Walked through dangerous tripping hazards of construction rubble on my way downstairs. No place to hang beach stuff in the bath, no place to put soap in the shower. No screen on the sliding glass door onto the balcony. Wifi didn't work in my room, although it worked in the office.

We have stayed here at least 4 times now. More small upgrades every trip. Chairs and a table on the balcony were added this time. Staff always wonderful and helpful.
Check in and out was super quick. Beds are a little mexico stiff for me but the pillows and linens are clean and comfortable. Water pressure good with plenty of hot water. Balcony does overlook the parking lot but you can see the ocean across the street. This hotel checks the boxes for me as a more economical option. Will stay here again.

The staff were so honest I left my ID my drivers license there at the front desk and they saved it for me for before I left. We asked for a delivery person right away. She looked online and she got us two number so that we can call Very very clean place. Very safe place. We’ve been there a few times already.

Hotel was good but Be weary of staff!

The evening security guard was a creep, he took his phone out to take pictures/video of us. And at check out we were charged for $25 for towels that were “Ruined” which they weren’t. One was dirty because we showered and make up was on the towel and the other we used to clean up a spilled soda. Was told by receptionist that they had tried to clean them and were unable to. We literally walked out of the room 2 minutes before this happened and definitely not enough time had passed for the maid to even attempt to clean them.

I liked that it was hated, had a security guard at the door and it was clean and the staff was nice. I didn’t like the people in the room next to us were noisy and because the place is under renovations the elevator wasn’t working so we had to walk up 3 floors of steps. The beach is accessible but there are too many rocks.

property sits across the street from any beach club great location. Expect loud music until the early hours of the morning from Manny’s on Friday and Saturday night.

The property is still under construction. They do not mention it in their website. They wee using jackhammers grinders and saws 50 feet from the pool area 75 feet from my balcony. Debris shoots on the side of the building while they continue to build from the third floor. NO ELEVATOR.

Nothing was offered from management or this website other than $20 in compensation.

Great location.

We enjoyed our stay here. The customer service is great, everyone was very polite and respectful. The rooms are a good size. There was no chair by the desk. It is within walking distance to the beach and a nice restaurant bar. The only complaint for myself is the people next to our room had very loud dogs. They barked every tume we open our door. Swimming pool was nice for the kids.

Yuri the front desk person was rude. We got there on Thursdays at 12pm she told us the rooms were ready but cannot give them to us until 4pm. So we were out sitting in the pool area till them. We could not go anywhere in town since our luggage were in a hitch rack. The hotel does not have an elevator so if you get a room on the 4-5th floor is stairs all the way up.

They are renovating the property so its a little congested. The balcony rails are a major liablity. There should be screens or some protected barriers as a pet or child can easily fall through. Terrible design. The rooms were fine. No complaints. My complaint is i messaged the proprty when made the reservation telling them we had 2 service animals. After checking out, nothing was said. Next day checked my credit card and they charged me 53.66 with zero explanation. I ASSUMED they charged me for the pets. But they never answered my email inquiry so i was forced to reach out to hotels.com customer service. The following day i had a reversal of charges. Again, no explanation. Penasco del sol is so much nicer. We only stayed here bc of the time we were arriving in ROCKY POINT. Never again.

Had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and polite. Hugo helped carry all our very heavy items up to the second floor. The security guards were great at providing recommendations and the front desk staff was also accommodating. The room was well equipped, AC worked great, and the beds were comfy. Walking distance to a few restaurants and bars, plus the beach access right across the street. Also pet friendly and have a kids play area. Would stay here again
