Everything was great here except for our air conditioner. Because I can’t go to sleep with loud noise I had to shut off the air conditioner at night. Our friends that were staying at the same hotel said that their air conditioner was fine so it might have been just our air conditioner. It was cool enough at night so we really didn’t need to use it.
Also, their blinds, though very nice didn’t keep out the light in the morning.
Loved the fact that the balcony wasn’t connected to the room next door so it felt more private than other hotels we’ve stayed in. We would probably stay there the next time we go to Rocky Point.

The rooms have been recently updated and the beach access was PERFECT! The restaurant next door had live music and a breakfast buffet on Friday and Saturday. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again !!! We loved it

The hotel itself is beautiful — beachfront, clean, relaxing, with music and a restaurant next door. The location and rooms were great. Unfortunately, the staff completely ruined the experience for us.
We traveled as a family, but because the hotel was fully booked, part of our family stayed at their neighboring sister hotel. The first night, my husband and elderly father were simply waiting near the pool area while I took my little girls upstairs to get dressed before dinner. They were not using the pool or amenities, yet security kicked my dad out for “waiting” there.
Trying to avoid more issues, we switched rooms so my husband and father officially stayed at this hotel while the teens moved to the other one. Even then, staff watched us constantly and treated us like criminals. Security even asked my husband to escort the girls upstairs to “verify” they were leaving. Once they saw they were, they just walked away without apology.
Yes, we understood the visitor policy, but the way staff handled everything was excessive, hostile, and honestly humiliating. We stopped using the amenities because we felt uncomfortable being watched everywhere we went.
Rules are one thing, but customer service matters too. Instead of making guests feel welcomed, the attitude was basically “follow the rules or leave.” Sadly, despite how beautiful the property is, the staff behavior overshadowed the entire stay and we would never return. Isais at front desk a complete jerk & Pilar security!

I noticed that no drawers are provided for clothes. That would be nice. Also, I asked for the birthday decorations for my friend and it was not done. I paid for the extra change for a late checkout of $35 yet my key was disactivated so disappointing. The view that I got was to the dirty parking lot.... ugghhh. The food and drinks at Puesta del Sol and the easy access to the beach made up for all the other stuff.

The moment we parked Cesar was there to get us at the door. Such a gentleman and very nice person. Check in was easy and fast. Cesar helped us with our luggage to our room. The room was very clean and comfortable. They have been remodeling rooms and it’s very nice. They are always keeping up with the building. Restroom is big enough and very comfortable.

Exceeded my expectations. The staff is exceptionally friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the ocean view is great. The restaurant next door is excellent. The doorman invited us to park our motorcycles under the portico immediately in front of the entrance, so parking security was great. The value at only $127 per night for a luxury resort was amazing compared to anywhere in the US.
