The room smelled like Weed and there was a bottle of cleaning solution on the bathroom floor. Everything else looked like it was done but the bathtub was iffy and the sink cold and hot was backwards.

Good for what we needed

This hotel was what we need after a long day on our motorcycles. Room was a little small but doable. The hot tub was a welcome site and it and pool were clean. It is not in an area with a lot of restaurants only one we could walk to were McDonald’s and Jack in the Box. There was a full breakfast in the morning. I would stay here again.

Rooms were quite run down. Stains on carpet, wear and tear. Cleanliness was okay though, aside from an old dirty face cloth hanging from the shower curtain rod when we arrived (maybe used for cleaning and forgot?). Breakfast was good. Staff friendly.

Quality Inn needs to work on this one

The computer wasn't working so the receptionist had to call an associate to come and he used his I-phone to check us in and provide us with room keys. Intelligent and resourceful young man. Otherwise, hotel is run down and tacky. It's mostly a place for road and construction workers to live while on the job. there was a functioning ice machine though, so we were able to have a cold glass of soda after coming though the desert. That was nice. The coffee was undrinkable.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. We had to switch rooms because the tv didn’t work properly and the tv remotes in each of the rooms did not have batteries. The lighting around the facility was dim and limited. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty. We arrived in the late evening and ultimately had to drive to Arizona for food, because ALL the eateries in town were closed, yes, even McDonalds and Jack in the Box…

The staff and privacy was actually my favorite part of the stay. I did not expect to be received so kindly by the Front office staff upon arrival, Then, when I wanted to extend my stay the nect morning, thet were happy & eger to help, they honored Expedia pricing without putting us through the \"usual\" possible runaround of having us check out at 11am then check in again after 3 pm. I am so happy not to spend many hours in the heat And their pool is lovely. There's not much around, but it's like a little retreat, very private.As well.

Was pleasantly surprised when we checked into our room. The area is a little rough but the room was well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. We had a family suite (family of 6) and really liked that the rooms were separated by a closed door (grown up privacy). Also, the rooms all had blackout curtains as well as a blackout screen on the windows (amazing idea since it was over 100 degrees and in direct sun). Our room was cool, dark and relaxing.

Check in was slightly confusing as it is 2 hotels in one building but staff was helpful. Good location, near freeway and Mc D’s in the same parking lot.

The area was a little sketch but one of our vehicles had jet skis and a lot of our camping equipment in the bed of the truck. I was a little worried about our things getting messed with but was pleased to see our trailer and items untouched the next morning.

Breakfast was a great variety (waffles, eggs, sausage, etc.) and good quality.

Overall, super pleased and will absolutely be back.

Find a different hotel

We stayed here twice - once as a stopping point in our way to our final destination, and once in the way back. First of all, the building is actually two hotels in one. So weird! When we checked in the staff asked which hotel we were booked at and switched to a different desk and computer. Each side of the building has different colored doors to designate which hotel you are at. Our first check-in I realized I had forgotten my ID at home. The clerk was helpful in making sure we could still get checked in. The second stay we were basically told without my ID we couldn’t be checked in. The staff was rude and not looking to help us. We eventually convinced her that with my husband’s ID and proof of our prior stay that we could check in. We happened to get the same room both times. The room was “cleanish”. The sink was pretty gross and there was hair in the bathroom. The toilet looked like it was not really scrubbed. The first stay there was no lotion in the large bottle attached to the mirror. Four days later there was still no lotion in it. The breakfast wasn’t terrible but there were limited options. There was also a staff member sitting in the corner on her phone the whole time we ate. I don’t know if she was on a break or if she was on duty to monitor the room but it was uncomfortable feeling like we were being watched the whole time. I knew going into this trip that we’d get what we pay for but I would definitely try a different option next time.

I'm very happy with this motel. Needles is a small town of around 5000 residents. Towns of this size tend to have friendly people and the Quality Inn staff reflected that. The restaurants in the area were limited but adequate. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. It is well maintained and kept clean. The free breakfast was excellent! Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and so much to choose from.
Watch out for gas prices in Needles at $6.69 per gallon - ouch! Better to fill up in Arizona which is just a few miles away. Half that price.

We checked in around 6pm and when we got to our room the do not disturb sign was up but our key still opened the door. We walked in to a messy room that was not cleaned yet that day. Carried all of our stuff down to the lobby again. The clerk did not even apologize for the inconvenience. He did get us another room that was clean and comfy.
