I would have given more stars to cleanliness because I thought overall it was a clean, renovated room (I like flooring instead of carpeting!) but there was a big long hair that wasn't mine stuck to the bathroom door (room 116 - I'm sure when they read this and go to clean the room they will see it). It is a nice size room, quiet and comfortable beds. Decent breakfast with eggs, sausage and fruit. Very pleasant helpful staff. I was here with my dog and they gave her a cute pup bag at check in. There is a pool (didn't use), and a dog area (it is rocky so not a place to run them) but nice enough with poop bags for use).

The woman who arrived before me had a reservation, and was attempting to pay in Cash. The desk attendant didn't have access to enough change in his drawer, and because of that he ended up refusing her reservation (instead of trying to find a way to make it right.) So, the fact that their screw-up cascaded down to the customer in a negative way for the customer - that I didn't like.

Also, I was expecting the place to be much more clean, nature friendly than it was. It was NOT on the river, and the cost of the room was higher than some of the other actual 'hotels' nearby. This was a MOTEL, with public, external walkways open to the outside providing access to the rooms.

I would have paid $65-80 for the 'motel experience,' and I think I paid $140.

Super overpriced and not advertised correctly. It was one of my greater disappointments in an overnight stay, in some time.

Property was fine overall, but parts could have used some upgrading. It is on Route 66 so I expect older buildings for nostalgic reasons, but some were nostalgic, just run down.

Great waypoint between CA and NV. Clean rooms except for a battle with some resident flies (we are admittedly in a desert here) and a torn couch arm. Great included breakfast- eggs, sausage, toast, fruit and more. Pool is big enough to swim some laps and the hot tub calmed muscles nicely. We would stay there again.

Get what you pay for

Room was ok, clean thank goodness, but very dark and outdated. Bedding was average and pillows weren’t the best, but the room served its purpose. Especially for the price. Usually the breakfast at BW are pretty good, but not this one. It was held in a restaurant next door with very limited options. Best part of the stay - awesome customer service. Isiah was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

The only comments I want to make is, they put me a 73 year old on the second floor. I have knee problems and could not take a shower as there were no grab bars and I feared falling. The toilet was so low I had a hard time using it. And there was no water the until about 5:30 in the morning. Over all my stay was not as expected.

Just a one night stop. Staff was friendly and room was clean. A decent buffet style breakfast was included. There are train tracks about 1/4 mile away. Several trains went by but I never noticed any real noise.

Absolutely filthy!!! Bed was made up with dirty sheets, floor had spills and questionable dirt, table and chair were missing. We left after 5 minutes in the room and went to Hampton Inn down the street.
Best Western would not issue refund.

Staff are very friendly and helpful, in fact, amazing! Even the housekeeper greeted us. I would suggest getting a room on the front side of the hotel as trains run all night and the tracks can be seen from rooms in the back of the hotel. The room walls are thin, our neighbors were not loud but conversations and the TV can be overheard. This may be due to the option of adjoining rooms. Needles is a small town but overall our stay was nice.
