The room was small but well equipped with older furnishings and appliances. The bed was very comfortable. and apparently new. The shower flow was anemic. Only a few channels on the TV worked - no sports and nothing local. Give me that bed in a modern Motel 6 room and I'd be happy.

Nice place to stay in Needles. Room was very clean, comfortable, and safe. Samsung TV with all the cable channels from a metro area. Frig, microwave, nearby ice machine.

Just what I needed!

Clean room, kind staff, excellent price!
The hotel has not been renovated, so don’t expect fancy. But, if you need a bed, a hot shower, a great air conditioner, and you’re low on funds, this place is perfect.

I arrived at the hotel at 1am, checked in and went to sleep. Woke up at 8am and left. It was what I needed for the night for a reasonable price. Didn't really see the place or area around but had no problems. Bring earplugs, the highway is right along the hotel and it is loud. I always bring them when I travel so it was not a problem for me.

I was told that my total out the door price was going to be $79.20 and I was charged $90. I was also told it was for my dog even though the property says it is \"dog friendly\". I assumed it would be like a motel 6 and if it is dog friendly there would be no additional charges. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and informative but I won't stay there again because of the extra charge for my esa dog.

Horrible cigarette smell

The room they put me in was supposed to be a non smoking room. The smell of cigarettes was absolutely
disgusting. They told me the smell was because of new paint. I guess they think it's amusing to make fun of guests.
I checked out after being in the room five hours, because
I started to cough from the smell. I would recommend the motel 6 one mile away, it was really clean, and quiet.

Check-in required longer because it took time to the owner to find my reservation. I found a couple of clover mites in the bed (see photo). These are harmless tiny bugs that when are crashed leave a red streak, but to me they mean that the sheets were not properly washed and sanitised. There were other tiny bugs that I could not identify. The masterpiece of course were the 4 bed bugs that I killed (see photo of one crawling on the wall next to the head bed). Luckily, I had a strong DEET bug repellant, so I sprayed the sheets and the area of the wall next to the bed, so I had no other unpleasant encounters during the night. Another bug, I assume harmless, crawled out of one of the pillow cases when I carefully examined all of the pillows.

They had the office lock you had to stand in 110 degree heat to check in. They didn't speak English so you hoped they didn't screwed you on your credit card. The room was 1950's. No light bulbs in the lamps. Dump!

Very comfortable stay...
The only thing that was missing was the coffee maker and coffee packets. But microwave was there. I had my own supplies so it wasn't a problem..There is freeway noise but the price and value was excellent. With the AC on you cant hear the freeway anyhow...The pizza place across the street is great!

It was quite and next to a store...what i didnt like was that when i try calling to see if my room was ready no body answered the phone all morning ...so i get there at 11 and it is about 111 degrees outside i got asked to come back around 1 room was ready so i didnt get to check in till after the 4..also was not let to checkout late the maid was very rude she cam to my room 3 times and try to come in while asleep...the room was ok but all in all customers service sucks plus was not givin wifi in till way late n.v copy of my bill

The room did not look like the picture and the room just didn't look too hot. It needs a total renovation. The room didn't look clean and there was cracks in the walls. The sink in the bathroom just poored water through the pipes onto the floor and we had to make do with just a shower. The room was very small. On the bright side it had a good air conditioner and at least it wa better than staying in a tent.

BEWARE!!! This place was HORRIBLE!! For the price i thought it would be a boring room with a somewhat uncomfortable bed but i assumed it would be clean and shield us from the high heat. This was not our experience. First off the neighborhood was creepy and i felt uncomfortable even leaving my car outside. We checked in and the room was hotter than the 107° outside at 9pm. Nearing an hour there with the loud AC wall unit running (while we were sweating) the room was ALMOST as cool as outside. The bathroom wasnt disgusting but it certainally wasnt clean. This is when i pulled back the covers on the bed to find multiple little black BEETLES in the covers!!!! This is when i had enough and we left the room immediately. The hotel declined our request for a refund. We ended up at the Days Inn & Suites where it was clean and cool and comfortable and in a better area of needles. I will never stay here again!!

Okay for a nights stay.

We were just passing through and stayed for one night. Checking in was quick and easy and we had a downstairs room. The TV worked fine and the WiFi was quick enough for anything up to YouTube streaming. There are a few food outlets close by and a petrol station just round the corner.

The room was clean enough although the bed and bedding a little worn. The bathroom could do with some updating but again was clean enough for a quick shower.

The major draw backs were the train line just across the road with constant heavy freight trains all night disturbing sleep as well as the noisey, all be it very effective, air con.

If your using the hotel as a stop off as we did (one night) no problem, I wouldnt recommended an extended stay here though.

Just a quick stop to break up the ride across the desert, room was clean and comfortable, air conditioner was a life saver! Plenty of parking, easy on and off the 40. Staff was friendly and polite, no problems at all, would definitely stay here again.

I would rate this Budget INN a 1 out of 10. This is really a surprise for me since the other 8-9 other Budget INNS I stayed at were OK. What's wrong. 1.: TVS don't work right and the volume in the first room could only be lowered so far. 2. One hears the freight trains all night. 3. If air conditioning would just stay on, it would block the noise from other tvs in other rooms(thin walls) but it didn't. It got so bad I knocked on a neighboring guest's door and although he lowered it--I could still hear his TV. I even covered my ears with the extra pillows but still could hear the TV. Only coffee is served in AM and none of the rules are explained like dial O if a room is too noisy.
