Nice property. Good but dated facilities. Basically a condo hotel, clean and simple. No AC and basic mattresses. Near the beach, and lots of things to do.

Good size apartment, close to the beach. Washer/dryer was handy. For such a beautiful part of Portugal there was a disappointing view out of the apartment - looking at other buildings and being overlooked by them. Certainly not the stunning ocean view shown in all their marketing material. Also disappointing not to be able to control the heating given the cold wet weather in mid March - it did feel a bit cold in the apartment at times.

Accommodation was very tired, cracked bathroom surfaces, rusty radiators, broken kitchen cupboard and bin, lack of glasses and cutlery. Staff at the clubhouse restaurant were unfriendly and we felt like we were too much trouble for them.

Overall the Marriott property is beautiful but as the drive continues through the village properties they are much more outdated. Our apartment was ocean view but given we were on the bottom floor could not see it it was however very close to the beach and only a few steps walk.

Nice property close to the Marriott (3-4 min drive ) nice pool good facilities including washing machine and dishwasher. Very spacious and close to the mini supermarket.

Property was nice but run down. Great pool and room layout was good with a close walk to the ocean. Room was very run down. Coffee maker and kettle were broken. Handle came off the shower, back of a chair fell off with no pressure bad master bath had a very bad odor coming from it. Noise travelled easily between floors and across walls. Did not use facilities like golf, tennis or restaurants so can’t comment on rest of facilities.

Overnight stay - we will be back

Overnight stay on way up to Valenca, we arrived after midnight and left the following morning.
The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful - speedy check-in which included a driver leading us to our Villa.
A tour of the local area the following morning has convinced us to head back another time for a short break - good looking resort, golf courses and Villas

besides loo paper there were no basic utensil or amenities available – no dish brush, no kitchen paper or towels, no salt, etc. and of course no convenience store open in the neighbourhood. A basic breakfast pack would be welcomed.

Our room was huge. In fact it s a small condomium.

Everything inside and outside is top notch
If you go there for golf it must be great.
Not so far from city of baleal and peniche with beautiful beaches.

No air condionning contrarely as offer on hotel.com
No access to heated pool unless 55euro !!!
Not mentionned as well.
Unless you stay in the room, grass or outside pool nearby, you need a car for everything including the beach and a cellphone to call the reception.
Beach is steep for small children.
...
And my english skill....!

great apartment and location, but inhospitable

The actual apartment was great. View of the beach, surprisingly well-stocked kitchen for a rental, huge rooms, black-out shutters. But, the staff seemed really inexperienced and unsure, and the complex policies are not very hospitable. Check in is at 4:00, check out is at 10:00, and you cannot check in early or out late. In fact, our room still wasn't ready at 4:00 when we checked back for the third time (we were told at both 1:30 and 3:00 that housekeeping was \"just finishing\" our apartment and to keep checking). Six hours seems like an unreasonable turnover time for a hotel room. Housekeeping then proceeded to come every day around 5:00 and do a quick and poor job of cleaning (e.g., the kitchen is not included), except our final day when, despite the 10:00 checkout time and the handwritten do-not-disturb sign on the door, they rang our doorbell at 9:00 am., waking my young son. We joked that they were only eager to do a thorough cleaning when they could inconvenience us with it. It's a beautiful complex, but they need to work on their guest services.

Bel appartement bien équipé, et comfortable. Une voiture est absolument nécessaire pour rester dans ces appartements. Il y avait laveuse et sécheuse, un luxe que nous n'avions pas encore vu dans d'autres appartements que nous avons loué dans notre séjour au Portugal, très utile. Ils fournissent aussi quelques capsules de café (système Delta, si vous voulez en apporter plus), et des sachets de sel, poivre et huile d'olive, ce qui évite d'avoir a acheter ces trucs si vous planifiez un ou 2 repas a l'appart.

Il y aurait un petit marché sur place, mais fermé dimanche et lundi (les 2 jours ou nous étions là) donc il faut aller a 10+ minutes pour une épicerie

Notre plus grande déception était de constater que les appartements côté \"jardin\" sont vraiment très loin de la plage. Il faut faire un bon 5 minutes de voiture pour s'y rendre, au minimum. Le complexe est immense, et les appartements a proximité de la plage sont dans une section a l'opposé de l'immense site/terrain de golfe, pas vraiment possible de faire ça à la marche. Si vous bookez cette option pour la plage, vaut mieux payer l'extra pour un appartement dans cette section.

Il y avait également un nombre incalculable de mouches noires a l'extérieur. Il y avait une belle terrasse donnant sur la piscine, mais l'utiliser était presqu'impossible vu la quantité de mouches. Plusieurs mouches réussissaient a entrer dans l'appart. Lorsque nous avons pris possession au premier jour, il y en avait déjà plusieurs dans la cuisine.

Hidden gem for relaxed family stay

Great apartment, sheltered pool shared with few others so almost private and with warm water.
20 min drive to great destinations ( Óbidos, Peniche) and shopping.
Great for a family stay where you want time on your own.
Glad to go again!

Bien pero lejos de todo

Escogimos una casa con vistas a la piscina y cerca de la playa. La casa en la que estuvimos estaba fenomenal, super espaciosa, muy limpia y cuidada. Tuvimos piscina practicamente privada para nosotros (sólo 1 piscina, no tuvimos acceso a las 9 que mencionan que hay) y la playa la teníamos muy cerca. La playa es preciosa pero con olas muy fuertes, es mar abierto, por lo que para los niños es complicado bañarse.

Como contras mencionaría que se necesita el coche para absolutamente todo lo que no sea pisicina o playa: no hay ni restaurantes cerca, ni supermercado. Si qué hay un par de restaurantes dentro del complejo (aún dentro del complejo es necesario ir en coche) con precios bastante mas elevados que en los restaurantes de los pueblos cercanos sin que la comida, a mi parecer, tenga una calidad superior.

La única queja que tengo es que nos correspondía una limpieza de la casa en la mitad de nuestra estancia y nunca vino nadie a limpiar. Y cuando lo comentamos en el check out, sólo obtuvimos buenas palabras.

Réservation par Mariott d'un appartement dans une des multiples zones d'habitation, déco du propriétaire daté, pas moderne, nombreuses ampoules à remplacer, canapé hors d'âge, très bonne connection wifi. A part le bar de l'hotel Mariott, très bon dessert, les lieux de restaurations sont moyens pour un 5*. Et surprise sur les notes des restaurants, les cartes sont hors taxes mais rien n'est signalé, et l'addition arrive avec 13% en plus sur la nourriture et 23% sur les boissons, même l'eau.

Trata-se de uma área imensa de resort, com casas e um hotel. Ficamos numa casa muito agradável com 3 quartos e piscina próximas. Muito bom para temporadas e para quem joga golf. Registro apenas uma certa dificuldade para encontrar a casa após o check-in na recepção do resort.

As instalações sao perfeitas, tudo novo é bem confortável. Somente o check-in não foi uma boa experiência. Como o local não é um hotel propriamente dito e sim um condomínio de casas, a pessoa que nos atendeu acho que não tinha o treinamento adequado. Basicamente entregou as chaves, uma mapa da localização da casa e leu um script de 40 segundos com instruções.
