Checked into this patio wot social hostel. A 10 mixed room .
This must be the smallest 10 person room I have ever stayed. There is no table no chair just bunk beds barely 2 feet apart . Whole room smells like stinky feet. People left their sinky socks and towels on the floor, absolutely disgusting.

They only have half curtains on the lower bed and no curtains on the upper beds. And yes the curtains are not even wide enought to cover the entire length of the bed. So cheap!
The bed mattress is very soft and not comfortable.

The women ahower is with maintenance. Women bathroom is tiny and with only a sink, no place to put your toothpaste or hang your towel. Floor is dirty and waste basket is overflown. Hand paper towel is out and sink is filthy .

Kitchen is very messy with dirty counter and dishes in the sink.

There is no signage in the hallway to show where the rooms or restrooms are. You'd have to walk around and around to find any place. This whole hostel's design is not every thoughtful.
This hostel is also far from Lisbon downtown area. The only good thing about it is I'm only staying for one night.

Comparing to the other hostel Sant Jordi , which is closer to downtown,, has a spacious 10 people mixed room , at least three times bigger than this one. Has a large kitchen area. Total blackout big curtains and very comfy mattress.

Well, I will never stay at Wot hostel again or any of their associated ones. It is so abhorred that I want my money back.

Stayed here as I was heading to the airport early. Definitely got what I paid for as the price draws more of a party crowd. The front door is set up to slam closed so all night the front door slammed closed, the folks partying could be heard yelling most of the night and it definitely is a more party hostel.

The beds themselves were fine with a “pillow,” if staying on lower bunks the privacy curtains are definitely a bonus.

It’s not the most ideal location but close enough to a metro to get around easily.

Oddly some males cleaning the women’s shower area with no notice. Coming out from having a shower, in the women’s shower area with no notice I’d be running into a man was surprising. I appreciate the cleanliness although some warning would be greatly appreciated!

Again, you get what you pay for here, overall a clean spot to rest your head for the night, with some quarks

This was my first hostel experience in my life.
I was in Lisbon for just 20 hours so the plan was to just do some sightseeing and enjoy food for the day and get some rest before heading back out.
The hostel is located in a decent part of the city a lot of attractions are walkable and there is a train station close by. There are also a lot of food options close by.
The hostel was clean and well organized.

This property has bed bugs.

I stayed at this hostel for 4 nights during the beginning of my trip to Portugal. On the last day, red, itchy spots started appearing on my neck. Over the next few days, I have accumulated around 20-30 bites all over my body.

The staff never cleaned our room or replaced our extremely small towels, despite a sign saying the would come daily. The bedding was extremely uncomfortable and single pillow provided was flat and cheap.

I have reached out to the property multiple times and have heard NOTHING. The lack of response, acknowledgement, and remorse is baffling to me.

Save your money or spend it elsewhere.

Centrally located in Lisbon, it has easy walking access to the city center, shopping places, and various restaurants to suit every budget. The airport is easily accessible using Metro and Uber. The staff were super friendly, knowledgeable & ready to help. A lot of social activities and city tours. All types of rooms are available at unbeatable prices. Besides Lisbon's 3 properties, WOT has properties at other great locations in Portugal with similar ambiance and hospitality! The WOT is owned privately and to my understanding, the owner/CEO is a Brazilian who has worked for an upscale hotel chain in Brazil before starting this greatly unique hospitality business in Portugal.

Cleaning was really poor, at all bathrooms including toilets bowls you could see fungus and dirt. Also i found a lot of hair. Breakfast was poor too

I got in late, but good location from Buses and subway, a huge group came in right before i got there, but they let em go thru and she had me out of the lobby quickly. Outside area to enjoy access from inside. Big kitchen plenty of refrigerators, halls were winding and easy to get lost in, but manuevered easily. Restrooms and shower area was clean and spacious. I slept well, there was a room fan, and small USB individual fans hooked to the bunks, made it great. Quiet room, with quiet ladies, which I was able to sleep all thru the night, until I had an early flight. Got up at 7 to check out and was told to help myself with free breakfast. NOW for being free, i didn't expect much, but it was good, different breads and loafs, spreads, cereal, milk, fruits, he was chopping cucumbers and tomatoes when i left, but it was great to get something on the run. Will stay again, when i'm in town longer than an over night flight.

The locker under my bed wasn't working which I reported to the reception, nothing has been done in a week I have been there.
The staff were very friendly and full of advice, told me where I could get my clothes washed and recommended things to see around.
The actual patio area was a bit of a mess with lots of rubbish around, and the chilling area with the nets has been guarded off by empty ant pots for the past 3 months apparently.
Cheap bar with a small selection of drinks that was good enough
Overall I could see myself going back, pretty central and good value for money.

Great budget friendly hostel

Great hostel with lots of amenities: has included breakfast, the rooms are clean and the common areas are well maintained. It has a nice patio, great common space and even coworking room. The staff is helpful and the location is very convenient.

Cheap in all senses

The hostel of “buts”. They offer a cheap stay, but their beds are super noisy and uncomfortable. They clean (ish) the common areas, but the top bed was dusty. They offer a free drink, but you can only choose from a small selection. They offer “free” breakfast, but it’s too simple. The power outlet of the top bed didn’t work. The guests were so noisy at night, and nothing was done about it. We stayed for 6 nights and when I asked about changing towels the staff told me it costs €2 per towel, regardless of how many nights we stayed. The washroom that had hand soap, didn’t have paper towels for half of my stay. The washroom that had paper towel, didn’t have hand soap. Only stay here if you’re travelling real, *real* cheap.

The rooms are pretty small for 10 people, no space to leave the luggages and not every bed has a curtain. Also the light by the bed didn't work and the floors were dirty. The common space and staff were great tho.

The lobby was really nice, rooms were okay too. The bathrooms were a whole other story. Looked like prison washrooms, very dirty with hairballs everywhere. Did not shower my whole stay because of this. I also want to make note that I booked a women’s only room and there was a man in one of the bunks on my first night. Breakfast was very basic but better than nothing. Would recommend for very short stays but not more than 2 nights.

Positives:
As expected.
We had a private room which was basic but modern, clean, and comfortable.
Check in was quick and easy.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful.
There were lots of spacious, clean and modern communal areas.
The rooms are cleaned daily. (I can only speak on behalf of the private rooms)

Downsides:
The quiet by 10pm rule wasn’t enforced by staff. The outside spaces were quiet but there were some very noisy groups until around 11pm each night who were banging on doors, running through the corridors and shouting/laughing loudly. This wasn’t an issue for us but could be for those wishing to get an early night.
The meshed rooftop area on the patio outside was closed.
There is no airport shuttle offered despite this being included on hotels.com website. However, the hostel is pretty much on the metro line and the metro from the airport to the hostel only cost 1.5 euros each.

Overall we had a good stay and would stay again.

As a kiwi/poly, flying from NZ alone to a place where you know no one nor the language can be quite daunting (especially when your luggage goes missing for two days at the airport), staff made it very easy to settle in; friendly, easy to communicate with mostly, and they also offered advice for travel options for future destinations. Basic accomm, but personally I'm easy especially for the good price you pay. Basic breakfast, but again, I'm easy and grateful that the option is there. Cleanliness, yeah nah it was all good. Probably better to travel with a mate at least so you don't get overwhelmed with strangers in your room. If you do, hopefully they're not a nuisance. Close to a grocery store, decent cafe, and public transport. If you haven't downloaded Bolt yet, do so because it's affordable to get to WOT Patio.

Overall, chill as place if your goal is to have somewhere to rest your head!

It was close to a bus station and they have an elevator after you get in and climb a few stairs. The beds in the room were close to each other. I had a top bunk and the stairs to get up kept banging. Felt bad for the other travelers. Shower was a tight squeeze but it was in our room as well as a toilet so we didn't have to go out into the Hall. There were shower rooms in the hall as well. The eating area wasn't cleaned up very often when travelers left. Tables and floors were dirty. There was high turnover so that could have been it as well. You have to wash your own dishes so sometimes there was a line up to do that. Great for younger group perhaps as the music playing was rap. Probably won't ever go back.

O Hub costuma ser muito bom, já fiquei hospedada no principe real e adorei o atendimento. Porém neste não tive uma boa experiência. Além disso o limpeza e organização do lugar são péssimos. O banheiro estava sujo e mal cheiroso.

Hair anyone?

Stayed here for 3 nights and upon check in found hair and what appeared to be beard trimmings all over the floor. We asked reception the next morning if daily house keeping was done for private rooms and we received attitude from the man at reception. When we arrived back that evening, the room had not been cleaned and the rubbish had not been taken. The bathroom smelt of mould and needed the windows open constantly to tolerate going in there. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Too loud for comfort!

The only perk is the price and the fact that it is close to the metro. Don’t come here looking for a good night’s sleep. Beds are uncomfortable, and the place is LOUD. The hallways echo and doors are slamming all night. This in addition to the drunken “woo’s!!” from the patio. After I checked in the maintenance staff were trying to get into my room without knocking to finish cleaning. The place seems to be run by teenagers, and for teenagers.

Great hostel for the price and location. I had a late checkin and the guy took his time out to explain everything. This is a pretty lively hostel and it doesn't get quiet till midnight on a good night, so bring some earplugs if you really want to get some sleep. Overall, I would highly recommend this hostel if you're looking to meet people and have a great time.

Terrible location if you are in town for sightseeing. Prepare to walk long distance or spend extra money on transportation. LONG check in time...we are talking about an hour to check in. They will need to improve on efficiency. Not enough hot water. Front desk person seem to be surprised when asked about hot water even though I have read on prior comments that this issue has been brought up before. Nothing was done to address the issue. The most annoying shower -- where you have to continue pressing the handle to get water, if not the water cuts off in literally a second. These shower systems were definitely not designed keeping the customer in mind. Wifi not available in all areas.
Breakfast is basic, juices are water down. Never seen a hostel/hotel ask for a 5 euro deposit for room keys...that seemed pretty cheap to me.

O hostel é incrível, fica muito próximo a estação de metro 3 minutos andando, linha amarela e linha azul se não me engado, tem o Pingo Doce do ladinho, café da manhã super baratinho. Fiz todos turísticos próximos a pé.

O local é simples mas repleto de good vibes. O quarto tem um bom tamanho e tudo funcionou super bem. O café da manhã era ótimo e o atendimento impecável.

Eu estava meio receosa quando reservei, por ser um hostel, mas o quarto privativo com banheiro foi perfeito para nós.

O local é super perto do metrô, o que facilita a locomoção pela região.

Ce séjour ne s’est pas bien passé. L’eau des douches était constamment froide. Il y avait une mauvaise odeur dans la chambre. La prise du lit était cassé. En définitive je n’ai pas apprécié mon séjour à l’auberge. Le seul point positif était le petit déjeuner compris.

Pontos positivos: o atendimento é maravilhoso. As meninas da recepção são super prestativas e atenciosas. A localização é muito boa, próxima ao metrô e o bairro é muito seguro.

Pontos negativos: os hóspedes são barulhentos à noite, o travesseiro é muito ruim, o banheiro não tem uma área seca para secarmos, o sistema de abrir e fechar o chuveiro é péssimo e o chão parece muito sujo, encardido.
