We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful views that made our stay even more special. The amenities were fantastic and really added to the overall experience, and the rooms were absolutely gorgeous—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed.

What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Wiwin, the manager, was incredibly helpful when we had to make unexpected changes to our reservation. She handled everything with professionalism and kindness, making a potentially stressful situation so much easier for us.

Overall, this hotel is truly a gem. Between the breathtaking views, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service, we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Resort is huge but the biggest standout is the colleagues working there. From Simon and Aldi at Front Desk who handled the small hiccup during the stay to Putri in F&B who came to check in on us during breakfast, you can really feel the genuine sense of care they have for their guests.

Kudos also to the housekeeping team for their quick responses to our requests especially when our daughter was not well one evening.

A comedy of errors. I won’t be staying again. Nothing is accessible outside of the hotel. A 5 star hotel and yet no transport available. We paid a ridiculous amount for half board and later found out breakfast is free anyway and were given vouchers for dinner only in 1 restaurant with a limited menu. For 9 nights… Everything at this hotel is about making more money. Anything you’re used to at a normal 5-star hotel you will need to pay additionally here. The staff are trained to annoy you and ask for more. The prices for drinks and anything additional are astronomical. Nowhere near Uluwatu, very deceiving. Also, nowhere near the beach. They add something like 25% to every order. It honestly ended up being funny just how bad it is, for a 5 star. A 3-star hotel rating, it’d be great!

Excellent resort, not a lot to complain about on site, but it may not be what you're looking for if you plan on going around visiting Bali. It's a little out of the way and traffic is pretty atrocious unless you're heading out early in the morning (before 11 AM).

My visit was for an event and it ended up being difficult every time we needed to head out. Calling for a ride can take quite some time, and going anywhere required at least 40 minutes to an hour.

I highly recommend this location if you plan on remaining on resort for the majority of the time, it is very comfortable and services are excellent.

i love its view, i love its food at dua ikat and breakfast, i love the serenity. its kids club is marvelous. i don't like the room config, lack of space for living space. no transport to nearby shops or around the area, or its not clear. activities/games can be better resourced (available floaties).

Review solely for the food—arriving at dinner time and the Indonesian restaurant looked appealing and airy. The menu wasn’t enticing. The lady server also the one at the restaurant entrance recommended randeng which is my fav but in retrospect, opted for something hot would not lead to food poisoning. Both dishes were bland. Service from the kitchen was nice but food wasn’t prepped hot. I also ordered Apple strudel at the room but it wasn’t the real dessert at all. Came for culinary experience but the result was definitely below par, minus even. I will not stay here again.

The staff seemed attentive but when I have asked them questions both at the restaurant and the lobby, they didn’t have the capacity to converse in English. Seemed brushed off my concern when mentioned about the food poisoning. He just dismissed me and followed with a comment card.

It wasn’t pleasant. I don’t think the hospitality level is up to par. I was disappointed w this Marriott hotel.

I recently stayed at the Renaissance Uluwatu, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by the warmth and friendliness of the staff, who went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The attention to detail in every interaction truly made me feel like a valued guest, and I was consistently impressed by their professionalism and kindness.

The resort itself is stunning, with breathtaking views, beautifully designed spaces, and a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere. My room was spacious, impeccably clean, and filled with thoughtful touches that added to the overall experience. Dining was also a delight, with delicious food options that catered to a variety of tastes.

There were a few minor issues, but what impressed me most was how Wiwin, Aldi & addressed them with such grace and efficiency. Any concerns were handled immediately, with a genuine commitment to ensuring that everything was perfect. Buzuki was also very kind and helpful.
It is apparent that the team at Renaissance Uluwatu takes pride in delivering exceptional service, and their efforts did not go unnoticed.

Overall, my stay was incredible, and I would highly recommend the Renaissance Uluwatu to anyone looking for a luxurious, welcoming escape in Bali, at a great price!

We did a pottery workshop thank you to Aldi for helping us it was a great experience. Rosa and Chen helped make my husbands birthday celebrations extra special. The stay here at this hotel was not that great, I had booked a king bed balcony with garden view which was not what was given to me, when I looked out the window all I saw was a few burnt trees and empty field. I had complained about it and was told if I want a better room I would need to upgrade and had to pay an extra £100 which was very poor from the staff, the hotel shows very lavish pictures and does not meet the expectations of a 5* hotel it’s more like a 2* hotel

I would not stay in this hotel again and the breakfast is awful and the area of dining smells like a gutter and so many ants on the table

We booked a loft room with outdoor jacuzzi - thinking that as 'loft' it would have unobstructed views to the sea, but unfortunately its on the ground floor with another block infront of us - wish we knew this!

Large modern and well maintained resort with two big swimming pools, two restaurants, and lobby bar with great oceans views. The breakfast buffet had a huge range of continental and other cuisine options and also catered to many dietary retirements.

All staff were very friendly and helpful with actuvuty suggestions and assistance. My room was clean and spacious room and had a large bathroom with a bath.

The 24-hour fitness centre was well maintained and had a decent range of equipment, including dumbbells up to 30kg, benches, adjustable cables, and plenty of cardio equipment.

I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others.

We are thankful to the genuinely warm and friendly hospitality team at Renaissance for giving us an amazing experience. We were in awe of the grandeur of the lobby accompanied by a perfect selection of lounge house music when we first arrived. Wow what a view and atmosphere. We really loved the modern cosy decor of our suite with balcony, open bath and large windows facing the greenery, open landscape and the sea. We enjoyed the large buffet spread, pool, spa, massage and gym facilities too. All good except for the undrinkable water that’s only acceptable for shower. Need to buy mineral water for boiling for coffee and brushing teeth. R Bar, Clay Craft and Double Ikat also offers fantastic food and drinks throughout our stay. Beautiful hotel! Highly recommended.

My stay here was nothing short of amazing. If you’re contemplating this property, don’t! Just book it! The rooms are clean, quiet and very ideal. Huge bathtub with waterfall showerhead, separate toilet room, free bottles of water. The breakfast buffet is AMAZING! So many options… they make crepes, waffles, pancakes, omelets ect! The views from the property are breathtaking and it’s very very quiet. Both pools are infinity and they’re clean, clear and huge! The staff is SO welcoming, nice, helpful and accommodating. They have a free shuttle that takes you to their other property located on the beach. The beach water was everything. Great food at both places… so many options! The resort also does activities every day listed on a board down by the main pool… bingo was fun! The spa did not disappoint either! I do travel influencing and I will recommend this place to all of my followers! Also, is only 25 minutes from the airport and the resort offers a pickup and drop off at a reasonable rate!

Everything about the hotel is high quality, from the initial view as you walk into the lobby it did not disappoint. Once you have got used to navigating the hotel you will have a great time. Some very good drinks deals on the various happy hours. Service was great, in particular by Dika in the lobby bar, who gave some great tips on things to do in the local area. If we find ourselves in Uluwatu again, would not hesitate to stay again.

Booked a room with king bed for a weekend getaway with my wife, but was given a twin bed instead. On arrival, the hotel informed us that there were no king beds left, and that our request for the king bed was “based on availability”.

The staff were polite about it and we were given complimentary cocktails as an apology. Every other aspect of our stay was great.

If the king bed is a must-have for you, be warned that it is not guaranteed for this hotel, even if you pre-paid for your booking and received a confirmation email stating your room type.

Arriving at the Renaissance Bali was like arriving to a dream. We booked a driver through the hotel for a late 11P pickup at the airport. He was there on time, cheerful and gave us helpful tips along the ride. Upon arriving, the staff gave us a much welcome juice and cold towel to freshen our faces after a long travel day. We were helped to our room with our luggage, and the room was immaculate. Comfortable, beautiful, clean, and cool. We slept very soundly. Over the next few days, we enjoyed beyond excellent hospitality, delicious food at breakfast and the poolside restaurants, and tasty beverages. We loved the peaceful nature of the property, and were especially delighted when searching for the owl conservation, one of the staff invited us to feed the owls with him. Thank you Siarna! We will never forget that experience.

This property was just we needed after a busy stay in ubud. The pool, the good, the staff all superb. The room decor was just fabulous, only issue is getting around this hide property can be a task. Once you figure out the layout of the hotel and to get around everything is a 10 out 10. Oh let’s not forget the awesome spa !!

What an amazing hotel. From the hospitable staff to the views, to the amenities - this was by far one of the most luxurious and beautiful hotels. Do yourself a favour and book this place during your stay in Uluwatu. Massive thank you to all the staff for an excellent stay. If I could rate it higher, I would!

Staff are friendly similar to all hotels in Bali so far. There’s definitely catering to a western audience here compared to local or boutique hotels. Very extensive breakfast included, delicious. The pool is gorgeous overlooking the ocean. We wanted late check out which they could not accommodate but they have a lounge for travelers with late departure so that is a perk I haven’t seen other hotels do.
