We had a great stay at Cross Bali Breakers. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help.

The room was clean and spacious, and we stayed in one of the private pool villas which was lovely and definitely worth it. The main pool area is also very nice and a great place to relax.

Overall, a really enjoyable stay. The only thing to consider is the location- it’s quite far from many of the main activities, and the roads in the area are quite old and full of potholes, which can make getting around a bit more difficult.

If you’re visiting during the rainy season, there isn’t a huge amount to do nearby, so it’s worth keeping that in mind when planning your stay.

The staff were absolutely amazing. I had an experience where I booked a driver through the hotel to take us to Nusa Dua to our next hotel. When checking out, I finalised the bill which I didn't realise included the transfer to the next hotel. I then paid the driver in cash directly, meaning I had double paid.
When I realised, I advised Cros Bali Breaker and they offered a refund and physically delivered the cash refund to me to the next hotel which is an hour away, without question.
I very much appreciate that the staff went over and above to rectify the situation and I would like to thank them for this.
I would highly recommend this hotel due to the overall service they provide.

The overall area of this hotel is very beautiful/ 5 stars but coupled with my experience I have to give this place 4 stars. Cross Bali’s location is deceiving because although it looks close to a beach and surrounding destinations, there are not a lot of access roads there which makes it quite inconvenient. The closest beach was Balangan Beach and it was nice that the hotel provided a free shuttle to there. my biggest complaint was the management. The staff was excellent. They were very attentive and very friendly, however, management was where they lacked. we booked a two bedroom villa for six people on Expedia and paid the total for it, but Cross Bali sent us a message saying that we would have to pay for an additional bed. The lack of communication between Expedia and the hotel was very frustrating to deal with. Then there were issues with our rooms a few days before we were coming so there was more frustration there. Thankfully, that was resolved quickly. All in all, for a hotel to be labeled as 5 stars, I think they should treat their guests a lot better than what we received.

Cross Bali Breakers is a great resort in a quiet location. We were impressed from the moment we arrived, then taken to our room by Oka. The gardens, the staff, the facilities- all excellent. The rooms with private pool were immaculate. Room service was a treat for drinks, meals, snacks - any requests met with a smile.
Choice of our own pool, infinity pool or pool with swim up bar - something for everyone!
Highlight was breakfast - complete with new daily menu offerings and omelette station - very high quality... and mimosa included!!
Location wise - no other local restaurants close by - but not necessary as in-house dining very good. Shuttle to Balangan Beach provided.

The plunge pool to the side of the villa was awesome. Nice to refresh in after sunbathing. The free gym classes/PT sessions with Bayu were great! The food options were great too - a mix of local as well as international cuisine, and with a free breakfast that had different options each day, I didn’t go hungry!

The spa and pool facilities were amazing too! Highly recommend this place 👌

What an incredible hotel! Rooms were clean and well decorated and the amenities were great. This is all pictured, the service however was memorable and cannot be pictured. The turn down service left a different item made out of a towel (the crab was most notable), with a his and hers robe laid out, eye masks etc. On the last night, we got a hand written note from the staff. I unfortunately got food poisoning on the last night, and without hesitation, they extended our check out, sent dry food and extra water. Also directed my wife to the pharmacy. Great stay with impeccable service!

The staff at the hotel were warm, charming, and truly beautiful people inside and out. They were genuinely hospitable and always made you feel welcome. The hotel is actually located in Balangan, not Jimbaran as I originally thought, which makes it a bit more tucked away and hidden—a nice surprise if you’re looking for something private and peaceful.

The food selections were delicious, with plenty of variety, and the overall atmosphere was laid-back and relaxing. The vibe was perfect for unwinding. My room was spacious and cozy, though I did feel it was missing a proper closet to store clothes, and the TVs could use an upgrade. The pools stayed cool unless they were in direct sunlight, which was refreshing in the daytime but a little chilly at night. The bathroom had an open design, which some may enjoy, but I personally would have preferred it to be enclosed.

The only downside to my stay was that because my flight was canceled, I lost one night and was told there would be no compensation for the missed day. While that was disappointing, I decided to let it go so I could enjoy the rest of my stay—and I’m glad I did. Overall, the combination of the staff’s hospitality, the hidden location, and the relaxing vibe made this a memorable experience.

For first timers to Bali this was a great choice for our stay.

The property is located not too far from the airport, traffic is what makes the trip longer however once there everything is great.

Our room had a private pool which was awesome and we also had the option of going to the main pools when we wanted to. The spa was another favourite we enjoyed the couples treatment.

The buffet options provide an alternative to the usual menu which is great for variety. The staff were always friendly and happy to help whenever asked.

Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay at Cross Breakers. The resort is beautiful and relaxing, but what really made the experience special was the staff.

Sari was the highlight of our mornings—her smile and positive energy were truly uplifting. Angus brought us our coffee each day and kindly helped us find the spa when we got lost. On our first day, a kind server (wish we got his name!) took the time to explain the local currency, which helped us a lot. And Ninda made sure every request we had was taken care of quickly and smoothly.

Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back!

Remote. Bad roads. Had to change rooms twice due to blocked shower and toilet. Massage was average. Breakfast okay. Dinner buffets were good. Hotel charges an arm and a leg for arranging transport. Charged AUD100 for some average birthday decorations. Staff were friendly.

The people at this property were so attentive. Yoga the guy that checked us in on our first night was amazing. He along with the other staff made sure that all of our needs were met. I was so pleased with the villa. It had everything we needed, was beautifully decorated, and super clean. This place looks just like the pictures. We would definitely return if we visit Bali again.

Our stay at the hotel really exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was delightful, offering both a buffet and daily specials that catered to a variety of tastes. The hotel provided so many enjoyable activities, from CrossFit and other training classes to bicycle rentals. We were particularly grateful for the free shuttle to Balangan Beach and the wonderful BBQ buffet we got to savor on Saturday during our weekend stay.

The staff here made our experience even more memorable with their kindness and dedication. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the front office staff welcomed us warmly and explained everything we needed to know. The concierge was so helpful with our luggage and guided us to our room, making us feel right at home. All F&B team went out of their way to be accommodating and friendly—which truly made us feel valued. My partner accidentally left his wallet at the cabana by the main pool, but Budi, the attentive pool attendant, found it and returned it to the reception. It was such a relief and a testament to the wonderful staff here. Also, a heartfelt thank you to Putu and Ugie from housekeeping for leaving us the adorable swan towel with such sweet messages. Our heartfelt gratitude to all the staffs at the hotel.

This hotel is the perfect choice for anyone seeking a rejuvenating and delightful escape.

Cross Bali Breakers is the perfect stay for couples wanting a romantic time away, families to kick back and relax in a safe environment or young groups wanting to base themselves in a more laid back and less hustle and bustle region in Bali.
My husband and I were honeymooning for 8 days at Cross Bali Breakers and were so glad we did ! The private pool, room service, gym access, transport and peaceful nature of the resort suited us so well.
The staff, service, cleanliness and food were perfect and we cannot fault them. You feel like part of the family! We will definitely be back.

Our stay at this Balinese hotel was unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional attention to detail. Ninda from guest relations made us feel welcomed, remembering our names and even greeting my plushy each morning—a warm, personal touch. The spa was a highlight, offering a 2.5-hour couple's massage that left us rejuvenated. When my partner got sunburned, the staff generously provided free aloe vera gel, reflecting their attentive care.

Outdoor Pilates under coconut trees was a refreshing experience, and the Canang Sari session with Putri and Wulan gave us a meaningful glimpse into Balinese traditions. The hotel's restaurant served incredible food, with the breakfast buffet being a standout. Daily specials like eggs Benedict and French toast, paired with warm service from Sari and her team, energized our mornings.

Special thanks to Oka for his friendly demeanor while driving us to the beach and assisting with our luggage. Putu, Udin, and Lily ensured our room and private pool were spotless, surprising us with towel animals and a sweet message before our departure. Mika’s express laundry service was also a lifesaver.

Every moment here was magical. Highly recommended for a warm and immersive Balinese getaway!

Cross Bali Breakers was a wonderful experience! We had a one bedroom villa with a private pool. The property is absolutely gorgeous.

The only slight issue we had was mosquitos. Our first night we killed at least 30 mosquitos in the room. We notified the front desk of the issue and we had someone there within 3 minutes with mosquito spray. We showed him that the issue was the sliding doors were not sealed, leaving a half inch gap on either side where the mosquitos were entering. Five minutes later, engineering was there to fix the gap and we had no issues after that!

Overall the staff was very kind and helpful. The spa was lovely. The location is a bit out in the bush, so there isnt much within walking distance, but the resort has a great restaurant and they will help with getting a cab. The breakfast buffet was really good and had a nice variety of foods.

They only have 1 restaurant and the food was horrible. 20 minutes away from any other restaurant which was very inconvenient. The prices for service were much more expensive than any other hotel we stayed at on the island. But the food was absolutely terrible

Everything about Cross Bali breakers was perfect from the get go. We checked in after 12am and to our surprise they gave us sandwiches since their restaurants were closed. Every day we were greeted by all the staff who gave lovely compliments and made us feel so welcome. Room service came twice a day and were always there when you needed them for anything. Anything we needed was just a call away. The shuttle service was so convenient for the beach and for going to the market. They had a tour guide and local taxis which was so helpful. I don’t think I could stay anywhere else in Bali after the standardd cross Bali breakers has set

We stayed in a one bedroom villa with a private pool which we thought was spacious and had almost everything we needed. The service, hospitality and workers were amazing! They had 3 different pools on the property as well which were great (an infinity, swim up bar pool and more relaxed pool that was quiet and nice to relax at). The rooms did have AC however the bathrooms don’t, so it got pretty hot in the bathrooms. The included breakfast was the best! They had different specials that could be ordered which were also included so a lot of options to choose from. Leaving a 4 star review because there were stains on all the sheets and the pillows smelled the first night we got there. We had them change them before the “3 day standard” but the changed sheets were almost worse and had more stains. When checking out they had room service check the room prior to us leaving and they grilled us about a “missing” bath towel (which was found in our room). We tried not to think too much of it. Overall, was still good.

One of the best stays we ever had. The hotel is in great condition with an excellent gym, pool, food and rooms with its own pool. However what really made the stay was the excellent staff who were always friendly and eager to help with any questions or assistance.

We enjoyed being outside the hustle and bustle of Uluwatu while taxis were frequent and safe getting to the areas we wanted to. The free shuttle in the area from the hotel was a further great touch.

There was no AC in our room, we asked the staff to help us and did not sleep the entire night, they did not do anything to help us. They said the general manager would contact us and nobody ever did. Horrible service, especially in this Bali heat.

The venue and villas are actually better than the photos. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and bathrooms were amazing.
The pools are very well kept and staff and drivers are the most friendliest people you will find.
Because it’s not a resort style venue this place wasn’t full of kids so it’s perfect for couples/singles who want to relax by the pool and just chill
There’s also massages are available.
Would definitely want to come back here !

X2 Bali Breakers Resort was an excellent place to stay. We loved the privacy which created a feeling of tranquility as well as the ever helpful and friendly staff.
X2 has a range of excellent facilities including gym and yoga classes. We all made use of the wonderful Spa facilities. The massages were fantastic.
