Rooms were so spacious in the suites. Food was so flavourful. The atmosphere was relaxed. The staff were very polite, helpful and willing to do whatever you needed with a friendly smile. The area was close to the islands rop beaches and restaurants.

Staff are really good. Friendly. Room had no towels when we got there, bed sheet had stain / marks on a small area near tge pullow i asked for extra towels and got them promply but then housekeeping took them away the following morning when they cleaned. Was charged 45 IDR for a small amount of milk to make tea with.

This hotel is very isolated so don’t expect to go walking outside the hotel and find somewhere close. You’ll need to take a vehicle everywhere. Super quiet, the quietest hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Bali and I’ve been coming here for 37 years. A true getaway place. Excellent grounds, facilities and staff.

Stayed at Le Grande Bali for 2 weeks, the golf course is very pretty, quiet and feels very safe. The room although basic, has everything you need, a powerful AC, a cosy balcony and a comfy bed. The staff always welcomed you with a smile and helped whenever they could. We took Gojeks everywhere from the hotel and they never took too long to arrive. I would 100% stay here again.

I stayed at Le Grande Bali from August 25 to 29 and had a relaxing and comfortable experience.
•The property is nice and quiet, perfect if you’re looking to unwind.
•Great atmosphere for relaxing, away from the crowds.
•The breakfast buffet had a good variety and was consistently well-prepared.
•The gym is basic but solid, ideal for keeping up with your routine.
•The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout our stay.
•The gated property felt secure, which added to the peace of mind.
•One downside: our room was quite far from the front lobby, which made getting around a bit of a walk.
•Expect a 15–20 minute drive to the nearest beach, not far, but traffic can be heavy during peak tourist season.

If you’re looking for a peaceful stay in Bali with good service and amenities, Le Grande is a solid option just be ready for a bit of walking and driving.

This is property is older and out of the way. You will need taxi, Grab or rent a scooter. It has two nice pools. Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast buffet has a large variety of mediocre quality food. We chose to rent a scooter and even though we did pay for breakfast to be included, we ate out after the first experience. The property is quiet however it felt like a back packers young persons hostel. I think because of the price point, people were staying here instead of the hostels in town. We were waken each of our 5 nights at 2;30/3 am of people coming back from their night out.
This isn’t a terrible hotel. You need to keep in mind the price point. It was safe, there is a restaurant, 2 pools, pool bar and gym. The staff do all the can control to make you happy and it’s cheap.

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, it’s about 40 mins from the airport and 10 mins from dreamland beach. The hotel do free shuttles to and from the beach but only 3x per day. The room was nice but we did find a big cockroach in the bathroom on one of the nights and there was also a lot of hair in the shower the night we checked in (not belonging to us), so it was obvious that the shower had not been cleaned to a proper standard. The restaurant had good food and was reasonably priced and the staff were friendly.

It’s slightly dated and could do with more channels on the tv and or access to Netflix. The pool is lovely and it was very clean. They also give you free toiletries.

The surroundings of the hotel are beautiful.
However, as a five star hotel, there are certain expectations that patrons will have - clean and well maintained buildings, appropriate room allotment, etc. While Le Grande failed to meet those expectations, that was not the most disappointing part.

This was - the bathroom in my room had no hot water and the water pressure was abysmal. I requested for a room change which was sidelined entirely and people were sent to repair the water temp but to no avail. (I had booked for a Deluxe Double or Twin Room. I’d made the personalised request to be given a double bed. They gave me a twin room anyway.)

Under any other circumstances, I’d have gladly paid for my stay in full and not asked for a reimbursement. But having a functioning bathroom with hot water and good water pressure is a bare minimum. 2 star hotels have had better water temp and pressure than here.

The property refused to reimburse me citing hotel policies.
I wish that they applied the same policies to hotel maintenance.

To the hotel management, the guest is NOT always right, but when a guest up and leaves due to lack of action or maintenance of hotel facilities, then please take the matter seriously. You’re not affecting just a guest’s experience with your hotel but you’re also affecting their set schedule around their holiday. I hope the appropriate measures are taken to avoid a situation like this again.

All the staff were very helpful and kind. Rani, Riski to mention a few of them. Happy hour drinls were a welcome treat too. Stayed in room 217, a family suite with 2 large beds, 2 bathrooms and a safe too. TVs in each room and the sitting room too.

We stayed at Le Grande for four nights and chose a pool access room, which turned out to be a great decision. It was wonderful to be able to jump into the pool and relax right from our room.

The facilities were pleasant, featuring multiple decently sized pools, a gym, a pool table, and table tennis. The buffet breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of savory and continental options.

The staff were all friendly, and room service did a good job of keeping our room clean. However, we had some issues with the quality of the bed. The springs were quite noticeable and noisy, and the pillows were not much better, leading to poor sleep quality. Additionally, the room lacked a safe, which has been a standard amenity in every other hotel we’ve stayed at in Bali. Lastly, allow half an hour at check-out, as we did not anticipate it taking the staff this long to check our room.

The location is quiet, with large roads and a very safe feel, though it is a decent drive from any beaches or attractions, which is typical for Uluwatu.

Overall, our stay was average compared to what you would expect from a hotel at this price point.

Lovely quiet place to stay near Uluwatu beaches. You do need a scooter or a car as nothing is walking distance. Relaxing stay out of the hustle and bustle. The only complaint is the beds are uncomfortable and hard. The staff are lovely and found my jewellery twice for me which I didn’t even know had fallen off so I am very grateful for that. Food is average but plenty of cute restaurants near by.

Very very spacious room and bathroom. Good gym, nice staff and good AC.

But

The hotel really needs updating. The food is really terrible (and we tried many dishses) and you can just tell the grounds are not looked after - dirty pool, stained walls,dirty corridors, grass is faded and patchy and the rooms are in need of a deep clean - all in all it was okay but looks nothing like the luxury in the photos. Also worth noting that this is on a estate so it takes about 10 -20 mins by bike to get ANYWHERE so not ideal if you want this as a base for exploring uluwatu/ pecatu. This is fine for a few days but just not worth the money and expectations were set high from the photos

1bedroom suite room was very spacious for 2A&2C (18months, 5years).
We really enjoyed our stay there very much.
The room was clean, the staffs were nice.
Alitle bit far to go anywhere if you don’t rent a car or motorcycle. No shuttle bus like mentioned in Expedia.
Close to golf area.
No kids clubs, only pool and simple playground for kids to have fun.

If you look for some spacious space, this hotel is good option with reasonable price.

When we arrived they put us in a room where they clearly didn’t change the bed sheets(I found hair and dirty spots in the bed), the wall was dirty and furniture was broken. I was really upset that a hotel would give customers a room in that condition. I complained and they move us to a decent room (next day only and the hotel was empty) clean and nothing broken. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

This place is very ‘tired’ looking and is in desperate need of a refresh.
The wooden decking around the pool was in poor condition with planks of wood not secured down and lifting up when you walked on them which is very dangerous.
Also, when we requested a taxi the reception desk would not call for one and instead made us use their own car service at a high fee.
Would not recommend this property to anyone. In actual fact I would go as far as to discourage anyone looking to stay here.

Great staff who were helpful and accommodating. The building needs a refresh with the bathrooms sporting a gross amount of mould and floorboards with large cracks. Bed sheets and pillow cases were stained.
BYO conditioner and body lotion as these aren’t provided.

Beautiful resort, really big but also really empty! Had the pool to myself most of the time and was waited on personally by 4 bar staff all afternoon. The layout is really confusing but well signed. The rooms onto the pool are beautiful, highly recommend. Restaurant was also lovely but again, no one else there. The only downside of this place is that there's nothing close by, you have to get shuttles or taxis or hire a scooter to go anywhere.

For the most part this hotel is well maintained, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. In my opinion the best part of the hotel is the large pool. It was never crowded so getting a bed was easy.
Cons:
-There is a gym, but the AC was not working for the 5 days we were there, making it unbearable to workout in 100 degree(F) temp. Wouldn't think it takes that many days to get a tech to come fix the air system.
-Hot water would go out after around 5 minutes.
-Slow service: the staff were very nice, but perhaps not all that greatly trained. On two separate occasions the cleaning person took our towels but forgot to give us new ones. When I called to ask about getting a new towel, they sent an employee to my room. Only problem here is that he didn't knock and just entered while my girlfriend was taking a shower with the door open. He was very apologetic, but really absurd nonetheless.
Also worth noting that the hotel is inside a massive resort. Just getting out of there takes around 5 mins by scooter. If you plan on not going out much, this won't be an issue.

I arrived to the worst run down hotel I’ve ever seen!

The floors were coming up by the seams. The bathroom was filled with mold and extremely dirty. The towels were also a greyish colour.

The bedding was dirty and the mattress was almost on the floor. All the walls were so dirty and it looked like mud on all the curtains.

The hotel said they would refund me but I still haven’t seen proof. I literally wasted my whole day getting there and these pictures online were at least a decade old!

The hotel hasn’t been taken care of and the only nice thing is the entrance and the golf course. Unless you want to sleep on the golf course I suggest you stay elsewhere.

The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful , it was a shame that the hotel was not up to par as far as cleanliness, especially the bathrooms. The Hotel needs a good overhaul. Breakfast was pretty good for westerners but after 2 weeks it was monotonous. The Chinese guests were very noisy and gave no consideration to other guests, especially at breakfast they were like vultures. The Hotel is good if you want to relax but it is a bit too far out of town & the taxis are quite expensive. Our experience wasn’t all bad, as the manager took it on board about our complaints. One other thing most rooms had only one chair so the other person had to sit on the bed.

Beautiful room and property, absolutely terrible wifi so do not count on that. Loved the bathtub in the room and having pool access from the room. Not far from Uluwatu Temple. Listing said free airport shuttle but it wasn’t accurate, it’s only free with four night stay.

Overall not terribly impressed. The cost for our room was very low and the location is very nice. The pol is nice and its great that they have a small gym. Breakfast was terrible though and the line for coffee was always at least 15 minutes which is absurd. They need more coffee makers! There is 1 coffee machine for the entire breakfast buffet. The room was ok but a few lights didnt work and the room was very dark. Nice location on the golf course though

We arrived at hotel 10am was told rooms not ready but reception would request rooms to be between 11 and 12.
No offers to store our bags inside the hotel was made or any suggestions that we could use any of the guest facilities. Our luggage was left outside the entrance of the hotel.
We decided to wait by the pool and was told they would come and tell us when rooms were ready.. We checked many times with reception and each time were told not ready,. at 3.15 we went again to reception and refused to leave till at least one room be available to us. Due to our insistence we got one room of the 3 we were waiting for. The other two were not ready till more than an hour after.
Pool side eating consisted of Chips only as it seemed that nothing else listed was available.
The evening before we were to depart we asked for a shuttle to airport for 10am pickup.
Confirmed this with reception at 11.30 after attending a function and went to our room.
At 1am we got a call to say they have got our pickup ready for 3am (NOT HAPPY)
A disappointing stay at this place.
It is a low budget stay so maybe we expected too much.

Nice, clean hotel and very peaceful :-)

It was spacious, I love the bathtub. The room is clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I arrived late and my friends did too due to flight cancellation but the staff were very accommodating:-) the rates are great as well.

Some staff could be more helpful

Staff and hotel are great. Only thing was one issue with a particular staff member not being helpful. We needed a scooter (because the location is a bit far from stuff), and they had rented all the scooters for the day out. I asked her to call the rental company, which is separate from the hotel, and she said she couldn't. So I walked to Swiss Bel which uses the same company and they called the scooter company to bring one down for me. The scooter company allowed us to leave it at Le Grande when we checked out.

Isolated

This hotel is isolated and the staff can't speak much English. It takes about 30 minutes for a taxi to come so you need to pre book as there is literally nothing surrounding the hotel except a golf course. We had ants in our bed, the lamps were covered in what seemed like blood stains, our towels weren't replaced and we had to call reception 4 times for towels to be delivered to our room. Bar tender is great and food is good- no complaints with that. We told the reception about our ants in our bed and that we had bite marks all over us and they did absolutely nothing for is. It seems like this hotel had its prime time about 15 years ago, which is now old, outdated, and uncomfortable. The rooms are spacious anough and wifi is great. Would never come here again and definitely telling everyone we know to stear clear of this hotel. I am never the person to write a bad review, I try to support business as much as I can but this was a knew level. The hotel just overal feels like an abandoned ghost town.

Good stays with reasonable price

Stayed there for a friend's wedding. Breakfast was good and services were great. Our bath tub was broken and sometimes hot water didnt work well but it was alright. Compared with the price of this resort, i am satisfied with my stays in uluwatu. Food in the hotel restaurant is pretty cheap and delicious.

Good View and Chinese Friendly

Good View of New Kuta Golf Field.
Chinese Fiendly as Both Chinese and English marked everywhere.
Restuarant also to Singapore/Malaysian Chinese Flavor.
2 Swimming pools with great view.

Make sure you have your own driver pick up as the hotel charge 350k to go airport.
Klapa Beach Club will charge 100k per person to enter Dreamland Beach. Thus basically no beach access for this hotel.

okay hotel

The room was nice enough, with a great bed and pillows. The television had quite a few channels. The internet speed was fairly slow. The pool and bar were beautiful! However, the hotel is quite far from any main towns.

Also the hotel food is terrible!!! Everyday was a struggle to find something eatable on the menu and when you finally chose it was regrettable. Furthermore, everywhere had a leaking air conditioner to the extent there were towels left around the place just to mitigate the situation. The hotel is also lined with tiles which looks nice but during the wet season makes getting around quite dangerous. The buffet breakfast sounds like it will be great but even the fruit selection was limited. Would not return.

Lovely green hotel .

This is a beautiful green golf resort with multiple free trips to different tourist places. Courteous staff friendly management and lovely food
