Our stay at the Westin Grand Cayman was outstanding! The staff was absolutely fantastic, especially a wonderful staff member named Arun. He went out of his way for me every single time I saw him. He always greeted us with a smile and asked if there was anything we needed. He deserves to be recognized for his superior service. The amenities are wonderful as well. WE WILL BE BACK.

The lobby area is nice and clean but the rooms and carpet throughout could use some care. It is a beach hotel so not sure how much cleaner it could feel but it felt a tad outdated as far as the room was
concerned as well as the restroom area/shower. We had a partial ocean view and the view did not disappoint, I was disappointed with the response from the hotel pool concierge and spa. I was trying to make things special to pre book ocean view massages and special greeting for our 20yr anniversary. The spa responded right away and then ghosted me and would not respond to my follow up emails. Of course when I arriveded and went to confirm what I asked for the date /time was unavailable. So, we opted to not do the spa.

I prebooked a cabana and although they also didn’t answer an email prior to arrival, the booking went through fine. It was also easy enough to book a pod mid week instead of in advance. The Cabana I reserved was #2. Hammock and two chairs. It was one of the only cabanas with the least view obstruction seeing how there are about 6 rows deep of chairs and umbrellas leading to the ocean view. That was a bummer. Also, the cabanas are super close to eachother. We really enjoyed the pod the best.The coffee exchange was excellent for coffee. One clerk was not very friendly but the doormen and other concierge were great overall. food: Beachhouse is upscale and pricy, but my husband enjoyed every dish he had there, crab cake, lobster and shrimp pasta the best.

The hotel was excellent, very clean and beautifully maintained. The beach was absolutely gorgeous and a highlight of the stay. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. All services worked smoothly, and everything was well organized. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend it to others.

Broken toilet half way through our stay. One outside staff member was very slow on taking orders and was rather unresponsive to trying and getting our order placed. Eventually we got our waters and Nacho's but the tortillas were all very soggy and said it was probably because the staff that delivers the orders took it to the wrong location. We did notify the senior hotel staff members but in the end, it didn't appear things changed with the waitress. She made excuses that it was due to the larger reserved area for a party taking up all of her time. We did notify the supervisor to let him know she needed help but it appeared that didn't happen and we were just offered free drinks from the bar but we declined because we don't drink alcohol.

Did not need parking, staff was nice I didn’t really hang in the swim up bar once I found out we had to pay for everything that’s not fun I see cheaper resorts that would have done the same thing for a 3 of the price I paid I did not eat at the restaurants on the resort it’s many thing to chose from once you cross the street the price for sting ray and star fish was over 120 when you can cross the street captain Marvin half price literally across the street breakfast amazing across the street better prices no I will not stay here no more I only slept there so next time a bnb next time this one was one of the most expensive ones that why I picked it next time ima get a cheap one it’s the same thing you have to pay for all ya meals on top when I checked out charge me 75$ for each day don’t know what that is about so yeah extra 300 from the 900 hold I ain’t spend or get nothing I thought I paid when I got in extra charges at the end lol definitely not comeing back to this one the pool is nice the beach is nice you paying for convenience I’m glad I explored around cause I kno where to stay next time

We picked a room with pool view and got a room on the top floor overlooking the entire resort and beach. Staff was friendly and helpful with taxis at the ready to take you where you need to go. Booked beach massages which were fabulous. Loved the restaurant choices and the beach was probably one of the best I’ve seen in the Caribbean. Beautiful resort I would highly recommend. Hope to be back.

Property was clean and well-maintained. The rooms were a bit unremarkable, very plain. I had expected them to be a little more luxurious. But they were perfectly fine and did not detract from the overall experience. We ate in several of the restaurants and the food in all of them was excellent. The wonderful coffee shop was a nice bonus. Great coffee and a wonderful selection of food items. It was great to grab a quick breakfast there without having to go sit down at the restaurant. The beach set up was very organized and the chairs were spaced out enough that you didn't feel like you were right on top of your neighbor. The service was wonderful, and the staff seemed eager to serve. I will definitely be returning.

Our room was good - nice space and very clean. Friendly staff. The location on Seven Mile Beach is great.

The $75 per day resort fee seems excessive, especially since we did not use the Fitness Center, Yoga Classes, etc.

A word of advice - skip the Tortuga Grill special food nights. We found the food to be mediocre at best. The fish was dry, some of the meat was very fatty, veggies overcooked, etc. It's a buffet to skip!

My only criticism is the lack of an airport shuttle service… guests are paying a decent amount of money to stay at your resort and a free shuttle service is offered at several other Westin-Marriott hotels!

We absolutely loved our stay here! Every single staff member was kind and attentive. Rooms were clean. Did not like them trying to give me all 4 rooms on 1st floor. Paid for and requested Partial Oceanview on higher floors ! Not a view of a brown wall or palm tree trunk or pool lounges. This got resolved after a manager got involved. Did not like having to change rooms because of ANTS all over the dresser. We never ate in our rooms , Room 438 went down to 382. No compensation for lesser view room. Wasn't happy about a toilet that stopped flushing in 346 . This was also taken care of within hours. My wife and I are repeat guest , we like this resort . We brought my daughter and her family down to celebrate her 45th B'day. I felt then and still do , that a little compensation was appropriate. Please reply

Great property, room was big and nice. Most importantly were the front desk staff and the bell men.
Even-though the pool was full of kids even till evening, the windows keep the noice out and make the room quiet.
The sushi restaurant is really good, and priced reasonably.
Location is close to several great restaurants, and it’s about 15 min drive to Georgetown where we would go for diving.

Rooms were comfortable. Live music most nights and enjoyable morning yoga and games around the pool. I would recommend to friends!

This was the perfect vacation. The location on the beach was great and the amenities on site were well done. Corey and Kadeen were very welcoming and helpful at the door. My only gripe is that we received no real explanation of what the property offers on our check-in. You travel all day and are not necessarily going to dig deep to find out. They took a $200 credit for certain activities and other activities charge straight to your card. At checkout they said we only spent 20 of the 200 credit I did not even know I had and then they said the 200 only applied to things that are “not included”, which I did not really understand. There was a somewhat-convoluted sheet that broke it down, but at that point I was leaving. It was still a great spot, and I would definitely come back.

The bad: Breakfast orders were frequently made not as ordered, flies and birds were annoying while eating, prime beach location often reserved for annoying corporate groups, too much litter on beach, smokers on beach, and we were overbilled. We also had to deal with a flooding issue across the hall which was noisy, and later in the week, smelled of mold, older hotel.

The good: Beautiful beach, umbrellas were always available on beach (May), good food, somewhat walkable to outside eateries
