Loved the stay! They have upgraded us without an additional fee. All the staff are friendly and helpful. They clean the room twice a day (replenish and tidying). Very helpful when I lost my phone. Highly recommended

Every thing regarding the hotel was excellent. Rooms, bar, pool. The food could have been better noting the price point offering more veriaty and range as other hotels in their class had more spread when it came to the food.

What can I say ..a superb stay in this amazing 5 star property . Staff are smiling ,helpful and professional. One of the most pristine beaches on the island and great cocktails at the beach bar . Amazing stay!

We spent a few days this week at this hotel and had the lovelies time. We were there with our 2.5 month old son and the staff was just really amazing with helping us with everything we needed. The food was excellent and the room very specious and clean not to mention the beautiful setting. Having travelled to around 70 countries and having stayed in many hotels this definitely is at the top. 5 stars!

Beautiful 5 star hotel by the beach. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well maintained. Food is well presented and of a high standard. There are daily activities but unfortunately due to the monsoon season currently we could not make use of them. We will return when the climate is better.

Well worthy for the price we paid.
Our hotel room was upgraded.
Got superb room with balcony.
Room service was quick and food is fresh.
Breakfast hoppers was great. Pancakes were nice.
Staffs are so helpful and friendly.
Pools are very nice and good maintenance.
All around the hotel is clean and tidy.
Having so many tour packages.

Had Great time.. Spa was also excellent. .

Great and comfortable hotel room with a very comfortable bed.
The hotel beach was incredible!
The food was really good, especially the outstanding breakfast buffet.
The service however need to be improved;
Most of the staff didn't understand much English, and most often were we promised things where the staff pretended (?) to understand, but clearly didn't, which resulted in long delays, wrong orders, room service not showing up etc.

This is fabulous luxury hotel. The service and food was excellent and the staff were all friendly and fun. The beach is perfect with flying fish and warm clear ocean. My only negative point which rather spoiled my overall impression was that I was overcharged for a taxi transfer to Sigiriya - I asked what the price should be and did not want, or think I should need to haggle in a 5 star hotel but I was charged over £120 for a 3 hour trip. This was our first taxi of the trip and all the following rides were about half the rate.

Words can't explain how amazing this resort is. My partner and I have worked in five star hotels,resorts and leading airlines around the world and have worked as an LQA inspector. From the moment we stepped in the attention to detail was on point. The service, the food and drinks, the rooms, pool and beach were all emaculate. The team that work here were helpful and profesional, they were down to earth and truly hospitable people, everyone from the porter to the bartender to the gardeners were friendly and held genuine smiles. We will continue to spread the word and will be returning in the near future.

Excellent hotel with friendly and knowledgeable staff who were always willing to help. Hospitality was awesome. From the time we arrived till our departure we enjoyed every bit of it. Food is scrumptious with plenty of local produce. When ordering food make sure you order less as the quantity served was just too much per person. May be this could be an area a little input from the restaurant waiting staff may help. Overall a true 5 star experience.

Excellent hotel on stunning beach

Had a brilliant two nights and three days at this hotel. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The level of service was superb and the best I have encountered in Sri Lanka and almost anywhere. Nothing was too much trouble and they noticed what you needed.

The room was gorgeous. Spacious and comfortable and the food excellent. The fish was particularly good.

Activities organised late afternoon - volley ball, football and cricket - helped people get to know each other. Especially the kids/teenagers and helped build a friendly atmosphere.

The beach was of course beautiful and they had bikes if you wanted to explore the area which we did and highly recomend. Meeting local people is interesting and can create both funny and poignant experiences. Sri Lankan people are usually very friendly, kind and welcoming.

We had an excellent stay at this resort. From checking in to departure our stay was unremarkable. The room was clean comfortable and spacious. The hotel staff was very attentive to your needs. They were all out to help you at any time.I took walk around to check the beaches,This resort had the best beach front compared to most others. It was not crowded you had the beach for your self.

The hotel was very nice, the grounds and beach were very clean, the hotel staff were very attentive especially the waiters and cleaning staff (and only to pleased to help you). The only draw back to the holiday was that there that there was no where close by to visit during the day, all the interesting places to visits were a minimum of 2 hours drive by taxi each way. So would advise this is taken into account if you plan on spending a lot of time visiting the sites around the island, but perfect for a quite beach retreat.
