We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The rooms are massive and well furnished with really comfy beds. The pool area is lovely although the pool itself was a bit chilly in January! The staff were friendly and polite. The surroundings are beautiful, with free bikes you can take into the paddy fields or into town. The location was perfect for us, it was about 20 minutes to walk into the town or a very cheap grab. There is also a shuttle that takes you and brings you back from the old town as well as the beach. I had seen a few reviews about the noise from the road but our room looked out onto this and the noise was minimal in our opinion. Breakfast was good, with a good buffet and fresh egg station.

The rooms are very big, although the whole hotel is a little tired. The breakfast was decent, and you'd be able to find something no matter what your preferences. The staff are accommodating, and helpful when asked. Spa team were lovely and the in-house guest offer makes it all very reasonably priced. If you are planning to stay, I would request a higher floor for a better view, especially if you are on the rice field side – there is a power line obstructing the view on the 2nd floor. Wifi doesn't reach to the 6th floor. Overall this hotel is good, not excellent.

This is a very nice hotel outside the center of Hoi An. You need to take the travel to the city into consideration, we struggled a couple of times getting a taxi at night

Love, love, love Lasenta, we had a wonderful stay here!!
Breakfast buffet is excellent, rooms huge, beautiful and comfortable, pool and view are stunning, staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful and the service is exceptional.
Close enough to ancient town to walk comfortably ( though there is a free shuttle provided) but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle.
Cannot fault this hotel at all, would very highly recommend and will most definitely return some day 💕

We were a group of 8, having traveled by bus from Nha Trang, so we were quite tired. We arrived around 5:30am to find the lights off but the door was open. Mosquitos were everywhere. The security guard was asleep on the floor and the receptionist was also asleep. They both woke up to assist us. The staff member mentioned that he’d notify us when a room became available. By noon, a room was ready but we were told there would be an additional charge by another staff member. The previous staff hadn’t mention any extra fees. Despite this, our stay was pleasant and the location was within walking distance to the city.

About a 30 minute walk into town, busy streets and sidewalks always filled with motorbikes which seems to be the norm, stepping around things and up and down the curbs constantly, not at lot in immediate area, the rice paddies were nice to see right across the street, the staff were all very lovely,room was beautiful, never enough hot water which would have been nice as it rained during most of our visit, about 1 hour walk to the beach, breakfast was good, would recommend if you don’t mind walking to town but they do offer a shuttle service if needed

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious, with a generously sized bathroom that included a bathtub – a nice touch for relaxation. The view of the rice paddies opposite the hotel was stunning and truly added to the serene ambiance. We also appreciated the availability of bikes, which made exploring the town both fun and convenient.

While the buffet breakfast didn't offer a huge variety, it was perfect as a light meal before heading out for the day. One area for improvement would be adding more drop-off routes with the shuttle bus for easier access to key locations. Overall, a great experience with just a few small suggestions for enhancement! There was also a cafe next door for those after a Vietnamese coffee of various varieties (and off site laundry services too)

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at

This might be the first bad hotel review I’ve ever written. I have no idea how this hotel has good reviews. The moment we went into both our rooms (two couples with two rooms), we all smelled mold. We were told it’s rainy season and humidity is the reason for the musky smell. We were supposed to stay two nights and the price was reasonable so we told ourselves we would get over the smell. We woke up early the next morning to explore the beautiful Hoi an, only for my husband to suffer a severe allergic reaction and go to hospital. Doctor said likely due to mold. We didn’t know he was allergic. Doctor sent us to the city hospital emergency room in da nang 45 minutes away because his reaction was so bad. We came back to La Sesta with all the paper work from the hospital at 2pm on day two and they still made us pay full price for night 2 despite explaining we needed to check out a day early due to a medical emergency due to the poor conditions of the hotel. Even if you don’t have a mold allergy, it can cause several health problems that aren’t as severe such as signs of a cold, cough, sneezing, and more. I hope this is a warning to all to not stay here under any circumstances. You’re better off staying somewhere slightly more expensive for a better nights sleep, or worse: a hospital bill, vacation ruined, and no hotel refund despite their own negligence.

Love this hotel! This is my second time in Hoi An and my second time at Lasenta Boutique. I would not want to stay anywhere else! The location is perfect! It’s quiet and the rooms are beautiful, CLEAN, SPACIOUS and the amenities are the best. The decor and style is more western than the typical Vietnamese hotels. The staff are very accommodating. The free shuttle to and from Old Quarter is very convenient! The breakfast buffet is a huge bonus. I love love their French baguettes!!! The different rotation of noodle soups are delicious. They have many options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians, Asians and non-Asians just pretty much a little for everyone.
Book this hotel if you have a chance. You will not regret it!

Beautiful location not far from the centre of Hoi An with free shuttle bus to beach and town. Swimming pool overlooking the rice paddocks was a unique experience and all the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was bright and spacious qnd clean, and the bathroom had a large shower area which felt luxurious. Buffet breakfast has a great selection too

The building looks very strong and the rooms are spacious. The breakfast had everything you needed and the head chef was always present making sure everything was right. Overall excellent stay at Lasenta. It's a nice boutique hotel, excellent service. I booked the Grand suite with view on the rice fields. It was a great spacious and clean room with awesome peaceful view.
The duvet was too warm for me, wish they had a thinner one for this hot weather.
Nice pool with view, but not so refreshing as it's busy and hot.

I loved the location, just far enough from the bustle if old town, yet close enough to it and many restaurants around.

I really enjoyed the spa. I took a scrub wrap massage and it was exquisite.

I would recommend and I would stay there again.

We really enjoyed the hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean and staff was very helpful. The breakfast buffet had western and Asian options. The pool was beautiful.
We made use of the shuttle to the beach and to the ancient town area. It was about a 10-15 min walk to ancient town. We visited in the heat of July so the shuttle was appreciated.
We used the hotel spa for pedicures, they were very reasonably priced but had quite limited options for nail polish colour. My pedicure was okay, the lady doing my daughter rushed and did not do a great job and the colour was chipped within the hour.
We have already recommended the hotel to our friends who plan to visit the area in a few months.

By far the best hotel we stayed in Vietnam within this price range.Staff was super nice (ex: summer and Leo), excellent breakfast with local and continental choices , view on the rice field outstanding, felt so pampered. Room with city view had a balcony, which was nice to relax on. Walking distance to the center of haoin and good restaurants nearby. Very relaxing, almost resort feel.

Lasenta absolutely blew our minds. What a gorgeous place to stay with the most beautiful views over the rice fields! The rooms were immacualte, big and very tidy! Small balconies but perfect for us. The staff were always so kind to us and our children, always welcoming us with big smiles. The pool was amazing too and we loved spending time here. Only downfall to the pool was it was very hot to sit there with very little shade available but that certainly didnt ruin our stay. We wished we could have stayed longer and highly recommend this hotel to everyone

The front desk staff An, Leo and Paul were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality, setting the tone for the rest of my stay. Bellboy Alex was also very helpful ensuring fast handling of all our luggages as there were 12 of us in my party. Not only were the front desk staff efficient and professional, but they also went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. Whether it was providing recommendations for local attractions or assisting with any inquiries I had, they were always ready to assist with a positive attitude.Furthermore, the hotel itself exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and amenities. We would have no reservation in recommending this hotel to anyone. It is excellent in every way. The staff without exception were very welcoming, smiley and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble

The hotel shuttle was a good feature, and the hotel has an agreement with one of the beach bars to provide it's clients with sunbeds and parasols (free of charge). The hotel loans out Beach towels if you haven't got your own.

We stayed at the hotel for a week and used the hotel's bikes to go cycling through the paddy fields and countryside . Which we did on two mornings

The restaurant and the food were excellent and the breakfast buffet had something for everyone.

If we ever return to Hoi An (which we think is a must see destination), we shall definitely stay at the Lasenta Hotel

We stayed at Lasenta Boutique Hotel 7 years ago during our honeymoon trip to Hoi An. We've enjoyed it so much that this time around, we returned with our 2 children. Greeted us at the lobby was the same receptionist (Ann) from our previous trip!!! Our room was clean and had great view (half city half rice field), breakfast was included and delicious. Enjoy free shuttle to the ancient town and the beach. I highly recommend booking car rides with the hotel for airport pickup/drop-off in advance, as well as for other destinations you might have such as Ba Na Hills. All of the staffs were kind and professional. Thanks Lasenta team for being part of our memorable vacation :)

We didn't have our room service for 2 nights we stayed here but when we requested for towels, water and soap, they were delivered very quickly. The restaurant served Vietnamese cuisine but they are not to our liking. Overall stay can be considered good and comfortable as the room is very spacious.

The Vietnamese food we ordered for lunch/dinner was below par but luckily the chef's spaghetti with tomato sauce was good. Aspects of service were below par eg no milk and black tea when they boast of free coffee and tea making in the room. Luckily that their staff member - Ann made sure she took care of us when I needed a doctor's visit and also arranged for the bus to wait for us at the beach as we wanted to see the beach but not to hang around for too long. Efforts by the kitchen to arrange for congee for me was most appreciated but I wish they knew how to provide the normal condiments as well. The staff has very limited English and this partly explained why they were unable to serve us better. But when they know how eg m husband needed a softer bed, they did their very best to make it happen. Thank you for this. The place is very safe and the staff members are trustworthy and vigilant of the safety of their guests. I felt we were in good hands under their care. This, I thank you.

The hotel for us in Hoi An

We really enjoyed our time at Lasenta for 4 nights of our Asia adventure.
It is situated next to the beautiful rice fields, which provide a lovely scene. It’s also not far from the hustle and bustle of the Old Town and less than 10 minutes drive from An Bang Beach. The hotel kindly provide a free shuttle service and bicycles for guests to use.
In the hotel, you’ll find clean and comfortable rooms, with balconies and a cosy feel. They were a good size and we were impressed with the eco friendly efforts with a water jug and clear toilet/sheet policies. The pool area was lovely and the infinity pool was great although quite cold at times. The whole hotel is decorated with fountains, foliage and tasteful artwork, which made it nice to explore.
The breakfast was good and had a good selection which varied each day. The pho and egg station were a great addition.
We have to mention the amazing staff too. Very friendly and smiley. James was a superstar at check in and we were helped by some wonderful people behind reception to book tours and get help with our room door.
All in all, we couldn’t have chosen anywhere better for our stay in Hoi An.

A clean hotel with good and attentive service. Nice infinity pool overlooking paddy field. Punctual complimentary bus service to beach and central market area. Decent breakfast. All for a very reasonable price.

We called this our heaven in Hoi An. We absolutely loved the week we stayed here. The hotel is beautiful with many plants and an open atrium. Loved the design esthetics! Our room was large and very comfortable. We had many meals and drinks here and they we all excellent. Everyone was very attentive and friendly. But the best had to be the view of the rice fields from our room and the pool. So peaceful. And last but not least we really appreciated our treatments at their spa. We will return and will stay even longer!

Excellent food. Bigger and cleaner rooms. Extraordinary view from the pool area or elsewhere. Quit and calm environment in and around the hotel. Free bikes to explore the area and helpful staff.
Booking day tours can be tricky as the reception only accepts cash payments.

Perfect!

Lasenta was perfect! A beautiful property in an ideal location (about a 20 min walk from ancient town, away from the hustle bustle). We used the shuttle with ease to go to town and to the beach (An Bang, where the hotel had their own private section). We borrowed the hotels bikes and rode through the rice fields just across the street. The best coffee we had was at a coffee shop immediately next to the hotel. The spa treatment was AMAZING! Finally, the staff was so kind and attentive! Don’t stay anywhere else in Hồi An!

The Hotel is spotless and in a great location overlooking rice fields. Our room was huge and also had a balcony overlooking the rice fields. Pool is also excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful. We took advantage of the free bikes and had a great time cycling through the rice fields and to the beach. Overall a lovely hotel.

We had a room overlooking the rice fields and it was a stunning view. Staff were very friendly, beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean. Pool could be a bit warmer and the walls were a bit thin but overall a great location if you want to avoid being too close to the business of the old town. Lots of fantastic restaurants near by.

The view over the rice paddies was amazing. Our room was clean and large and the hotel amenities were all great. The free bikes were good for exploring the city. We also booked a tour and an airport transfer through the hotel, and these both went smoothly. We would stay here again if we are ever in Hoi An.

This property is in a great location and so close to Old Town. They have bikes to use free of charge. Right outside the front door you can drop off laundry and also rent a scooter for $7/a day. The night market is so much fun. Lots to see and do. The hotel rooms are large and modern. The buffet breakfast had lots of choices. Staff were very helpful.
