Very clean and close to an area of food and shops. The issue is, there is a train that goes behind the hotel, it is very noisy starting at 5 am with intervals of every 15 minutes.

I was concerned about some of the recent reviews after I had already booked our room but I am glad to say I was happily rewarded by staying here. Our room was lovely with floor to ceiling glass French doors which opened out to a breathtaking view of the Marmara Sea. We had booked sea view and non-smoking superior and that was exactly what we got. Very quiet and comfortable with queen bed. There is a train that runs along the water front of Kartal so it is helpful to use ear plugs. We prefer to have fresh sea air rather than the sealed windows that do not open in recently built hotels. Loved the seagulls flying past our windows on the 4th floor.

A nice stay for the family

We booked 3 rooms at this hotel, for a stop over in our trip. We enjoyed our stay there, staff were helpful and kind and they spoke a good English.
Breakfast was wonderful. Beds are comfortable.
Walls aren't sound proof so you can hear voices from other rooms.
But the only complain I have is about the toilet, as I washed it myself. There was a urine stain on the wc(I know it may look like a small thing) and it didnt seem cleaned proper.

Hotel building was good, staff were friendly. But the queen size bed which I booked for my two kids did not exist it was just couch bed which was to small for my two kids , we had to change one of our rooms due to water leaking from upper floor in bedroom. I was not expecting that at all.

Grand Mira is a comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and good standard of cleanliness. Staff are excellent and always courteous and helpful. We have stayed at this hotel a few times and always have enjoyed excellent service. The breakfast is a buffet and although generally the same daily fare, it is very adequate.

Great little hotel with sea view.

Great location and clean hotel. Book the Sea view ones as Suite rooms are not overlooking to the water. Pandemic times breakfast was not satisfying. But they made us some warm food, which was great. Service staff is wonderful.

Good but shower noise from next room was horrible!

Good: breakfast options were plenty although not amazing, room was quite big, sea view was very good but not directly on the sea. The staff were helpful and friendly.

Bad: When the guest in the next room is having a shower, you hear a very loud noise of the water as if they are in the same room with you. Also, although the room was big, the bed was quite small because it is actually two small beds combined with some thick sheet on top of them. Finay, the area around it is not so good

The hotel as an overall was ok. The room was small and no view. The shower cabin was not clean. I enjoyed the breakfast and the bed was clean. The local personnel was very helpful. The location of the hotel is great for the walk outside. It is very close to the seaside.

Nice Hotel at Istanbul but far away from city center and important places
I spent 5 nights at this hotel with reasonable and fair price. I may repeat coming to this hotel in the future in case I rent a car for my transportation!

The hotel is not under 2 miles from Sabina airport as rated on hotels.com website. It is half an hour by taxi and thus very unhappy that had to spend TL 135 on taxi fare to get to and from hotel to airport. Had only booked to kill 8 hours and wanted something near the airport. Thus very unhappy

Very good Hotel and Location. Friendly Staff

it was a short but good trip. The Gentleman at the reception was most helpful and a blessing in disguise cos he spoke English and assisted with all communication.
Room was a little cramped as a Quad but for just 1 night it was manageable.

Hotel with high standard not expected in the area.

Helpful staff, clean rooms. It's called business hotel but there is no desk in the room . Wireless internet and complimentary bottle of water were nice to have. Didn't have breakfast or dinner but there is 24 hour room service available. Arranged airport transfer with a private hotel car very early in the morning at a comparable taxi rate. Overall nice place to stay for a great price.

It was a lovely hotel but needs some housekeeping organisations. We arrived around 8 in the evening and as soon as they saw us, they realised they did not set up a bed for my grandson (7 yr old) as arranged. They said it would be ready by the time we had our dinner in their restaurant. An hour and a half later we went up and still no bed. Finally the bed came by a cleaner who was complaining she should have finished work by now, this time no towels for the third person. It was almost 11 at night by the time we got everything and got to bed with a 7 year old. When they changed our 3 towels during cleaning, they only left 2 towels and did not replace the toiletries. Their pictures show breakfast on the terrace, but the terrace is not accessible except for weddings. Then we tried to exchange some money, they offered us a lower rate than they were showing on their screen behind the reception desk. When we questioned it, they said the rate had changed but they didnt have time to change the screen. The exchange office was still offering the higher rate through our stay). 4 days later, the screen was still showing the higher rate. Such a shame, as with a little care they could really be good.

Luxurious accommodations at incredible prices

We stayed at The Grand Mira while attending a wedding in Kartal In Istanbul. The rooms were very comfortable with full amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Manager was especially helpful and even treated us to tea and coffee from their tea bar one afternoon. But best of all is the out of this world breakfast buffet with bowls of fabulous fresh fruit and vegetables, cheeses, bread, etc.

Great place to stay for a visit to Prince Islands. FANTASTIC breakfast buffet - best I've ever had as an included breakfast. The neighborhood has little to offer - except for easy access to Prince Isalnds. Had our sleep disturbed by 2 weddings on 2 weekend nights. Would have been a huge annoyance - but I'm a night owl anyway. If you get a sea ire room, you'll overlook an ugly hospital as well and be under the \"party\" floor. Be forewarned. Excellent otherwise.

Wir haben uns für das Grand Mira entschieden, weil die Lage zum Meer und für eine Durchreise in Istanbul sehr optimal gelegen ist.
Trotz später Ankunft hat sich Mustafa vom Concierge Service Team um uns gekümmert. Leider war das Dach unseres Fahrzeuges für das Parkhaus (max. 2.10m) zu hoch, aber er half uns eine andere Parkmöglichkeit zu finden.
Empfang war tadellos, Zimmergröße mit ca. 25-30qm optimal.
Frühstück ausreichend und sehr frisch. Der Ausblick aus dem Frühstücksraum mit Panoramafenster auf Meer.

Danke an das Grand Mira. Wir werden das Hotel bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder buchen. Beim nächsten Mal mit Meerblick.
