We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel. We booked one of the economy rooms which was good, enough space for the two of us, but the room was on the first floor right by the elevator and the restaurant entrance which made for some noise and also the light in the hallway would turn on and off constantly.

The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The TV in the room didn't work during our stay which wasn't a huge deal since we were there only for a couple of nights. There is an electric kettle in the room and tea but they don't provide any coffee so we bought some packet of instant coffee since breakfast is not served til 9am. The breakfast was ok, they do offer scrambled and hard boiled eggs, a small selection of bread and pastries, some fruit and tea. If you want any coffee drinks you'll have to pay extra.

The pool was a nice bonus to have especially after a long day of walking in the heat.

Breakfast was included but I had to pay 95tl for a very poor cup of coffee. This is not breakfast included. This was very disappointing.

The hotel itself was alright and we really liked the outdoor pool. Breakfast was good. The room was awful though: it had a safe but it was locked, bathroom was filthy and disgusting, the room didn’t have a heating kettle, the shower box was dirty and the water kept changing between hot and cold by itself. When we asked them to take care of those problems and clean up the filthy bathroom they seemed to have taken it seriously, but NOTHING HAPPENED after that. The hotel was clearly understaffed. We only saw 4 employees operating the entire property (3 in the morning shift and only 1 at night). Our overall experience was way below average.

The rooms are quite small, and breakfast is, well, fine. Décor is a little tired in places, but staff and keen to please. Stayed for two nights and seem to have suffered from bed bug bites (they only come up after a day or so). Balcony and view are great, especially if the weather is good. The island is lovely and great fun to explore. Hotel only a short walk from the boats. Great eating available locally, too.

Lovely Boutique Hotel

This is a lovely little boutique hotel on a charming square. Soak in the sun by the pool and have breakfast on the outdoor balcony with the horse and buggies going by. It is worth splurging on the extra money for a room with a sea view--the highlight of our trip!

The hotel was wonderful. My friend and I checked in earlier then the actual check in time and the staff stored our luggage in the office so we could walk around and explore. They were also very helpful when we asked about which ferry we needed to take back to Eminonu. The decor was fun yet classy, and their beds were extremely comfortable, especially the comforters. It is in a great location, close to shopping, eating, and bike rentals. If you find yourself traveling to Buyukada, you should rent a bike and visit the St. George Monastary, the views are fabulous, they will not disappoint.

Nice botique hotel with personal assistance and a friendly word from the new manager and the staff at the front desk. They helped with translation and guidance about places to visit and amenities in the area.

Buffet breakfast was nice especially considering the price of the room.

The rooms were unique, comfortable, even had a fridge with mini bar which was a nice surprise. Pool with sun loungers and a bar for those who like to relax.

Only 5 minutes walk from the ferry landing.

Would definitely recommend if youre staying on the island.

Nice quirky hotel on a lovely island. Staff were generally accommodating and friendly.

a few downsides for me included the fact our economy room was tiny with no balcony although we didn't have any noise- we were in room 101 and our bathroom had some dirty marks on the tiles that could have been removed with a bit of effort. Our room wasn't made up one day and on the other day the cleaning was very minimal.

However all that being said I would recommend the hotel

A few days away from the noises of the big city

Nice small hotel away from the big city Istanbul. Good location close to the boat pier, still a bit away from the bigger crowds of the harbour area. The welcome was friendly, very helpful staff, my only criticism for them is that they seem not too experienced in the hotel industry, my feeling was they are part time working amateurs. We stayed 4 days and the staff at the pool and at the breakfast changed every day. And so did the service quality. We ordered on 3 days the same snacks and every day they looked different and had different size. Room Service, one day they forgot the amenities, one day the room wasn't made up, one day I reminded them to make the room as it still wasn't done after 2 PM. But I still recommend that place, its a nice, clean hotel, with very friendly staff, just be aware its not a chain hotel with accurate, but on the other hand impersonal service.

Peaceful Island Getaway

This is a wonderful getaway from Istanbul city life. The hotel is a quick walk from the ferry terminal and has a lovely pool. The highlight is traditional Turkish breakfast, which is served on the terrace and includes a huge range of breads, cheeses, jams and fruit/veg. The decor of the hotel verges on the kitschy, but not in an unpleasant way. We spent our stay lounging by the pool and exploring the Island by foot, and left feeling very well rested.

I would say again

Very nice hotel in quiet town, horse buggies outsde the door, few minutes walk to town center, nice isalnd to visit after the somewhat busy and noisy Istanbul. A lot of great fish reataurants, same prices as in Istanbul but fish so fresh it was still jumping. Since we did not have beach or pool weather a 2 day stay was enough to see the island.

Small, family-run hotel with good service

We really enjoyed our two-night stay at the Ascot hotel. After intially struggling to find it (it is situated slightly off the main drag) we found that it was a great location and very close to the ferry terminal and the majority of restaurants (approx 5 mins walk). The staff were very kind and helpful, and there was always someone available to help. Two issues I should report though: one of the towels in our bathroom had dark stains on it, which was not nice to discover when drying your hands on it; and also our room was very small. We were on the top floor, which afforded us a great view and a huge balcony. In fact, the balcony was bigger than our room! The only problem was, one of you had to be on the bed for the other to be able to move around the room - not very practical! Perhaps ask for a room on a lower floor.

I think the hotel was very lovely, a stately place and beautifully kept and presented. I loved my room which was a suite double bed and a lovely old style furniture. The room was comfortable. The neighborhood was not very appealing as there were residential houses that didn't add a good view to the small yet lovely surrounding of the hotel. Also Food could have been better, my Veel was less cooked than what I asked.

Evren was the face of this hotel for my daughter and me and she could not have been more helpful, upgrading our room and accommodating a late afternoon checkout time with the kind of cheerfulness you don't normally expect from a hotel. not all that glitters is gold

Was expecting something much different. The hotel seems fairly new and seemed that it was finished hastily. Don't get me wrong it does look nice and fancy; a little too much for me really. Everything is glitzy and shimmery (chintzy and tacky) but we experienced some drawbacks: some fixtures came loose and the bathroom stank of mold and sewage. Truly these were the only problems we encountered. It was noisy, but I feel that's the case anywhere on the island - seagulls and magpies everywhere and active at all times - the only solution would be soundproofing either the windows or your own ears. Otherwise, the staff was always friendly; breakfasts were great. Location, well, everything is close to the island.

Tek sorun havuz kenarında fazla çiçek bitki olan yerlerde sürekli ısıran ve ısırdığı gibi yakan küçük sivrisinekler vardı onlardan biraz rahatsız olduk. Pieni mutta viihtyisä hotelli, jossa parasta on kaunis ja rauhallinen uima-allasalue.

Huoneessa ei ollut yhtään ylimääräistä neliötä, mutta parveke oli tilava ja huone oli kaikilta osin toimiva. Ilman parveketta huone olisi tuntunut liian pieneltä varsinkin koska teimme osan ajasta töitä. Huone oli siisti ja ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Jäimme kaipaamaan parempaa kuivaustelinettä pyyhkeille, kylpyhuoneessa ne jäivät kosteiksi. Siivooja kävi päivittäin vaihtamassa pyyhkeet, paitsi yhtenä päivänä mitä hieman ihmettelimme (panimme älä häiritse-kyltin ehkä 20 minuutiksi keskellä päivää suihkun ajaksi ja ’siivoa huone, kiitos’ -kyltin loppupäiväksi, mutta kukaan ei enää käynyt). Sängyssä oli myös pelkkä ohut liina peittona ja jouduimme erikseen pyytämään pussilakanaa paksummalle peitolle, joka löytyi kaapista.

Aamupala oli yksinkertainen mutta hyvä. Turkkilaiseen tyyliin löytyy vihanneksia, leipää ja muutamia erilaisia juustoja ja hilloja sekä teetä. Lisäksi munakokkelia ja uppopaistettuja suolaisia leivoksia ja kuivia kakkuja. Kahvi ei kuulunut hintaan. Nuori henkilökunta oli ystävällistä mutta hieman ujon oloisia ehkä kielimuurin takia. Kuten kaikkialla Istanbulissa, hotellin sisäpihalla liikkui söpöjä kissoja pentuineen.

Sijainti on erittäin hyvä, samalta kadulta löytyy pyörien vuokrausliike ja satama on lähellä.

Palvelun taso ei ylittänyt odotuksiamme, hotelli on hintatasoon nähden aika yksinkertainen, mutta paikan viihtyvyys paikkasi tämän ja kokemuksemme oli positiivinen.

Çok sıcak çok tatlı bir ortamı vardı.Çalışanları güler yüzlüydü.Odamız çok rahat ve konforluydu.Sabah kahvaltıları çok çeşitliydi.Her şeyinden memnun kaldık:)

Bu otel el değiştirmeden önce çok daha iyiydi. 6.cı sefer gidiyoruz ama her seferinden bir öncekinden daha kötü. Kahvaltı sıradan asla yeni bir şey yok. Çalışanlarla ilgili hiç bir sorun yok. Fakat odalar dökülüyor. Malzemeler genelde kırıl ve eski. Lütfen oteli revize edin ve elden geçirin. Çalışan arkadaşlara çok teşekkür ederim.

konum olarak çok güzel bir lokasyona sahip.hemen önünden otobüsler geçiyor istediğin yere çok çabuk ulaşabiliyorsun.çarşı ve yemek mekanları yürüme mesafesinde.çok lüks bir tatil arayışınız yok ise biz arkadaş grubumuz ile çok memnun kaldık.özellikle banyoları çok yeni ve çok temiz.6 bayan kaldık ve en ufak bir çekincemiz olmadı.

Kahvaltisi cesitliligi bakimindan yetrliydi.havuzu guzeldi. Oda temizligi daha iyi olabilirdi. Odalari kucuktu. Konumuda guzel yerde. Aksamlari cafenin kapali olmasi bence kotuydu.

Keyifli ada günlüğü

Otel çok merkezi bir konumda. Müthiş manzara eşliğinde çok konforlu bir taatil geçirdik. Tek olumsuzluk kurumuş çiçeklerin kaldırılmamış olmasıydı. Her detayı ince düşünülmüş, pırıl pırıl bir oda/işletmede olmaması gereken bir ihmal olarak değerlendirdim. Çalışanların iyi niyeti, çözüm odaklı ve gayreti taktire şayan. Çok memnun ayrıldık. Otelde değil de sanki adada evinizde yaşıyormuş hissini vermesi de bence ayrıca güzel. Tavsiye ederim.
