mixed bag

nice enough hotel, but our room only had one curtain so very light in room early on, also very thin walls the sounds of passion from next door was almost like having them in our room. staff all nice, breakfast good, shower heaven.

Very average stay

The room looked onto the street and was small and strangely configured, which meant that we could barely open our bags to unpack. Generally, the room was not that clean and was showing wear and tear (e.g. one wardrobe handle had fallen off and not been replaced). The AC was good - very powerful. The shower was small but fine. The breakfast was OK. Service wasn't great - we asked for help with a taxi boat leaving the island (for an early flight) and the chap at reception basically told us to go down to the pier because he couldn't help us. We wouldn't return.

We enjoyed our stay in Buyukada and the hotel. I have given a low rating as it was too expensive for what we got. The property is tired in places and looks shabby and for the price we paid I would not expect that. The breakfast was adequate but could have fruit options added. Having said that we did have a great stay and slept well. We enjoyed the pool but this shut at 6 which was a bit early for us as it would have been good to have a swim and relax there after retuning from the beach. The island is beautiful

This is a great cozy place to enjoy your stay in Buyukada, feels very comfy, the people around have positive vibes… it is clean and like a royal house aim to get the terrace or one of the rooms facing the pool.

A little disappointed, would maybe try again.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but I'd only cautiously recommend the hotel.

It was off season and raining, so the pool wasn't available. I wish we could've been given a heads up, or offered a cheaper room, given we wouldn't make any use of the balcony. Future guests: I'd check with the hotel prior to booking to ensure you're getting the full experience.

Other pieces of improvement:
- The wifi was barely working in our room.
- The refrigerator in our room was somehow hot (!) so we couldn't keep items cold. We ended up keeping items in the balcony.
- We couldn't customize the temperature in the room.
- The phone was dead, so we could not contact the front desk or dial restaurants in the area.
- The breakfast was a little bit of a letdown. Instant coffee, no water available.

What I did like about the hotel was that it was quiet, conveniently located, and I'm sure a magnificent place to stay during warmer seasons.

This is one of my favorite hotels in Buyukada and I have stayed at a few. I really love how this hotel is quite to the city center, yet is on a clean and quite part of the neighborhood. This location gives you the best of both world's you are at the quite area of Nizam which has all the mansions and very quiet and serene place .. yet it is very close from all the shops, restaurants and the buzzy area around the harbor. I loved the whitish vibe of this place and the overall area. It feels very cheerful and matches what I expect from a vacation destination.

Tired rooms, lovely pool

I feel in two minds about this place, the pool (apart from terrible music) and outside facade were lovely and it was an easy amble to the centre for restaurants etc. The rooms however were tired, furniture and woodwork was tatty and scuffed and the pillows were lumpy.
Our first room the aircon was broken but staff provided us with a fan and moved us the very next morning to a new room....where the fridge was broken. I think they would have sorted this if I’d kicked up a fuss but they were all so lovely I didn’t bother. The WiFi worked ok most of the time.
Overall having the pool was a trade off for the room, not many hotels have a pool on the island.

This is a villa turned into the hotel is very small hotel. Good to stay one or at most 2 nights only. Expedia photos are misleading, no any beaches anywhere close by. Shame on Expedia for posting fake beach photos on their hotel depiction. To get to the beach it needs to walk to the sea port and take boat trip to the paid beaches starts from TL50 ($10) per person for entry. Hotel staff are nice.

We came at 1am checkin was great, the room great and big and clean, the bed is comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing. Pay 10$ more but enjoy your night...
The only bad thing that happened with us is when we called them before booking to ask them something on the phone, it was the last room and the total was 53$ on Expedia, they asked us when you want to book and we said today, when we hanged up the phone to continue our booking and put the credit card number the room was 5$ more expensive.
So make sure not to call them or tell them when you are coming and be careful in the islands people can rip you off easily, they took for 2 minutes ride on the horse 110 lira because we were very tired walking and we needed to come back just half way, and we did a reasearche after and we found out that the ride of all the island cost some people about 50 lira so be careful, also we paid the bicycle shop for a full day for 2 bikes and we came back after 1 hour and we told him that we don't want anymore so he didn't refund us the total and he started yelling, Most of turkish people they only see you money...

Good stay (odd breakfast confusion)

Nicely decorated building, lovely outdoor seating area. Was off-season but staying there as a couple was very enjoyable. One confusing thing was as we stayed there for 4 nights and were delighted to find we had a buffet breakfast on the first morning. On the second morning we didn’t have a buffet breakfast and a kind of “platter” was handed to us which was very dissatisfying and confusing. Wondered if it was the staff’s choice. On the last two days it was back to buffet which was great but suffered breakfast anxiety not knowing what we would find and with the two options being so different. So don’t know what was going on there. But overall it was great and the staff were friendly and kind.

I stayed two times at Buyukada before this one. This one was most clean one, normally you couldn't expect this room from an island hotel. We were so lucky too, I had a reservation for a standart room but they give me a deluxe room, it was so kind! I'm so glad to see their happy faces. I hope I will stay here again, see you :)

This is a clean functional hotel that is very close to the small town that has restaurants and other tourist facilities. The Turkish breakfast was nice with tea being served. At this time of the year it was very quiet.

Klima ısıtması yetersiz kaldı bu yüzden gece biraz serin geçti. Odaların temizliği daha iyi olabilirdi, duvar kenarlarında küf vardı. Kat içinde sürekli bir sigara kokusu vardı. Odalar arası çok ses geçiriyordu. Kahvaltı ortalamaydı.

- Menüdeki fiyatlar gayet uygundu.

Eksileri:
- Odada çöp kutusu yoktu. Çöplerimizi tuvaletteki çöp kutusuna attık.
- Isıtma çalışmıyordu. Klimanın sıcaklığı 30 derece olmasına rağmen hiç ısıtmadı. Petekler vardı ama çalışmıyordu.
- Karanlık perde kısaydı bu yüzden camın bir kısmını kapatamadık.
- Jakuzinin olduğu bölümdeki tahta alan nemden dolayı çatlamış veya deforme olmuş. Kötü bir görüntüydü.
- Odalar maalesef ses geçiriyordu.
- Jakuzi için köpük konmamıştı. Vücut şampuanı kullanıp köpürtmeye çalıştık.
- Balkondan diğer balkonda oturanları görebiliyorduk. Bence her balkon arasına bölme konmalı.

Daha önceki konaklamam da herşey çok daha iyiydi ama bu sefer olmadı. Banyo da kocaman şişelerde şampuan var gibi ama içleri boş. Yatağın altında boş şişeler vardı ya inanılmaz!!! Tv açmak isterseniz kumanda var ama pilleri yok. Oda çok pis ti. Kahvaltıdı idare eder.İyi insanlarsınız ama hijyene dikkat edin lütfen. Bir daha konaklarmıyım evet ama bu sefer düzelen bileyler olsun lütfen.

Rezervasyonumuz balkonsuz oda olmasına rağmen sigara kullandığımız için bizi kendileri sorup balkonlu odaya aldılar. Teşekkür ederiz balkonlu oda bizim için daha konforlu oldu. Klimalar çalışıyor temizlik iyiydi tahminimizden çok daha iyiydi. Ulaşım vapur iskelesine yürüme mesafesi ada sokaklarından 10 dklık bir yürüyüşle ulaşılabilir. Havuz ortalama küçüklükteydi. Kahve açık büfe. KHvaltı bitiş saatine 5 dk kala gitmiştik patates bitmesine rağmen patates kızarttılar ellerine sağlık teşekkür ederim.

Odada cıplak ayakla gezeyim dedim, ve ayagimin alti simsiyah oldu. Benim konaklamamdan önce silinmemis. Elimi yikadigim lavabo tikaliydi, su birikiyordu. Kahvalti çeşitleri fazla olmaliydi. Bir de kahvaltida kedileri besliyorduk, oradaki gorevli ustlerine su sıkıp aç kedileri kovdu.

Odaya girdiğimde rutubet kokuyordu ama ahşap evler normal diye düşündüm sorun etmedim şampuan be duş jeli boştu ama söyleyince getirdiler.
Kahvaltısı açıkça vasat sadece sıcak olarak haşlanmış yumurta vardı o da fazla haşlanmış yeşil olacak kadar.

Çalışanlar iyi, otel güzel, odalar temiz, etraf huzurlu çok güzel bir yer. Her büyükada ziyaretimizde başka otellere bakmadan direkt Çankaya'ya geliyoruz. Jakuzi’de su akıtma problemi vardı. Odanın bir kısmı ıslandığı için odanın yarısı ıslak kalıyordu. Ayrıca otel terlikleri çok kötü ve kaygan olduğu için kayıp düşüyorduk. Bunun dışında ekstra istediğimiz terlik ve battaniye için yardımcı oldular.

İmkanlar harika, hizmet iyileştirilmeli

Otelin binası, konumu, olanakları şahane. Ölü sezonda gittiğimiz için de huzurlu, sakin bir tatil geçirdik. Sıcak su küvetli odada kaldık, genişlik, olanaklar, balkon, manzara çok iyiydi. Ancak temizlik konusunda aynı şeyi söyleyemeyeceğim. Küvet iyi temizlenmemişti - ki bu odada en önem verilmesi gereken şey. Odanın yerleri de benzer şekilde. Kahvaltıda ise seçenekler kısıtlıydı, maliyeti pek değiştirmeden misafirleri daha memnun edecek bir kahvaltı sunmak mümkün diye düşünüyoruz.

Son olarak bizim için en büyük problem biz köpeğimizle gittiğimiz için ve kahvaltıda kapalı yere almadıkları için kediler ile çok sorun yaşadık eğer evcil hayvanınız ile gelecekseniz kahvaltıyı belki dışarıda yada kalıyorsa dostunuzu odada bırakarak yapabilirsiniz. Onun dışarısında genel olarak dostunuz ile birlikte kalabildiğimiz için bizim tercih sebebimiz.

İlk an güzel karşılandık. Gece odamız soğuktu. Klimalar otomatik olması nedeniyle ayarlama istediğimiz gibi olmadı. Genel olarak temizlik ve kahvaltı güzeldi ama odamızda bulunan koltuk temizlenmiş olsa bile lekeliydi bir örtü örtülebilirdi hijyenik olması adına. Balkonlu oda seçtim ama manzarasının arka sokağa bakacağını düşünmemiştim. Genel bakış olarak memnun kaldık eksiklikler olmasaydı daha iyi olabilirdi.

Jakuzili odada konakladık. Oda zaten çok büyük bunun yanında balkonu, deniz manzarası mükemmeldi. Açık büfe kahvaltı da güzeldi. Temizlik, rahatlık bakımından çok doğru bir tercihti bizim için. Sadece kış zamanı gelip konaklayacaklar için tavsiyemiz, odalar normalden biraz daha büyük olduğu için ısınması biraz zor oluyor, konaklarken belki bir tık kalın giyinmek isteyebilirsiniz. Merhabalar, otel aslında çok güzel butik otel tarzı bir otel fakat, örneğin havuz başındasınız sipariş veriyorsunuz, şuan çalışanların dinlenme saati diyorlar, bir otel olarak bunu kendinizin organize etmesi gerekiyor. Kendimi müşteri gibi değil akraba yazlığında zorla kalıyor gibi hissettim. Deluxe oda fiyatı ödememe rağmen kaldığımız oda fotoğraftaki oda ile aynı değildi kutu gibi bir oda verdiler balkonda iki sandalye vardı masasını da almışlar. Kahvaltı çeşidi yeterli idi. Bence 7.5 civarı olmayı hak eden bir otel. En azından bana öyle hissettirdi.

Güleryüzlü ve yardımsever çalışanların olduğu nezih bir otel. Yataklar biraz eski gibi ama konforluydu. Zengin sabah kahvaltısı lezzetliydi. Mutfak personeli de gayet güleryüzlü ve taleplerinizi hemen yerine getiriyorlar. Adanın gündüz kalabalığından uzak ama merkeze de bir o kadar yakın.
