We booked motel 6 about a month out for the marathon but through a third party and when we arrived we were told that there might not be a room for us because it had been overbooked. Thankfully, we secured our room (which had already been paid for) and moved our things in. The motel is clean for the most part and the grounds are well kept. It was nice to have a back of motel facing view because even if it was a parking lot, there were a few trees and it was much quieter. On that note, it is important to know beforehand that the walls are very thin. A women's rugby team moved into the room next to ours the night before the marathon and we could hear everything as clearly as if they were in our room. They were very receptive when we asked them to lower the volume. The man running the desk was very accommodating despite having to manage several overbooked clients without rooms, and the room was clean if not a little heavily sanitized.
