Sauber, schön, TOP!

Die Begrüssung war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und komfortabel. Wir hatten auch einen Balkon und einen Aschenbecher, super für Raucher wie mich ;) Das Bad ist sehr modern und auch Shampoo war vorhanden. Die Minibar ist inklusive und es hatte zwei Wasser, ein Cola und ein Bier. Auch vier Kaffee standen zur Verfügung. Alles kostenlos. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte auch alles,w as man sich wünscht. TOP! Ach ja, und das Hotel hat eine eigene Tiefgarage, auch kostenlos.

Conveniently located hotel in old town

The hotel has a good location for the castle, the old town centre and many restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and our room was very quiet. The breakfast was varied and plentiful.

Good stay

Accommodations were adequate, but very clean. The restaurant meal was so delicious and the waiter couldn't have been more helpful with our weary group of nine. Prices seemed outrageous, and then we found out it was very normal for Switzerland! The breakfast was good, but less abundant than other hotels we visited.

Perfect for a visit to Schloss Lenzburg

Nice, if dated, hotel in the lovely little town of Lenzburg. The \"family room\" we had was just two interconnected rooms, which was fine. Beds a bit hard, and no A/C but they provided fans. Good breakfast, and very attentive service by the staff. Overall a good stay, no major issues.

Fine hotel, great customer service

I stayed here a couple of months ago while working in Lenzburg and can't fault the hotel. The staff were very welcoming during check in and the room was comfortable and well-equipped. The free beer and drinking water in the minibar is a nice bonus. I did not use the restaurant but the breakfast was good quality. It is located in the old-town close to the castle with several restaurants and a good Irish pub nearby, and the train station is about 15 minutes walk away.

I left my Kindle in my room when I checked out and the staff were kind enough to have it shipped back to me Germany, which was greatly appreciated. Thanks to Michelle and Cornelia, who were the two front office staff I was in contact with.

Great place right in town.

Nice hotel right in the center of town. Breakfast is really good. The only downside is the parking garage is a very tight fit.

The parties they host have a negative impact.

As usual the room and the staff was great. However being the holiday season they host a lot of parties. This makes for horrible parking, quite a bit of extra noise and a forest fire worth of smoke to walk through at the main entrance.

One night in Lenzburg.......

Very pleasant stay in Lenzburg. Reception staff was excellent in allocating the rooms and sorting out a minor problem. Garage requirements were more than adequate and the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast menu catered for almost every taste and fresh scrambled eggs were served by friendly, willing staff. We will be back.

Excellent value & great staff


We booked this hotel as all the Zurich hotels we had looked at were way too expensive. The money we saved enabled to rent a car and get out and about more than if we'd used a Zurich hotel. It was only a 30 minute drive to Zurich and the roads were fantastic - no jams like in the UK.

All the staff spoke perfect English and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast [huge, excellent buffet], garaged parking, WiFi were all included in the price.

You won't regret this hotel decision!

We were super thrilled with this hotel find! Hotel Krone is a fabulous hotel! It was super clean and comfortable and we loved the politeness and courteousness of all of the staff. Lenzberg is a quiet little city and this hotel seemed like the centre of the city where everyone meets to eat dinner or have a drink. Yet, in a strange way, it was not noisy or busy. It was just a great place to be!

Hotel in good condition...it is Switzerland after all.

Breakfast is tip top. Great food, good service.

Room was small, single bed, 113 euros.

parking in the garage is tight, really challenging to get anything bigger than a Mini inside.

Hotel 8 minutes walk from the railway station.

I was there when they were celebrating the Youth Festival for two days in July. It was a good experience but till 2 AM the people were in the streets, drinking. So I could not sleep well.

Nice hotel in the center of Lenzburg close to a selection of restaurants with friendly staff. Important items for my travels are free car park and free Wifi which were available. Only one point: my room did not have air conditioning and at the time of travel it was 36 degrees which made working in the room uncomfortable. They did supply a free bottle of water though. Have booked again at the end of August.

2週間滞在しました。朝食は美味しいですが、内容が変わらず飽きました。

部屋にはコーヒー用マシンしかなく、お湯が沸かせないので、部屋にケトルがあると良い。

またルームキーが使いづらかった。

excellente expérience avec cependant 2 réserves concernant un équipement et un service:
- coffre de sécurité dans la chambre trop petit en comparaison avec ce qui se fait généralement;
- un horaire de début de petit déjeuner un petit peu trop tardif (seulement 7 h00), ce qui est un tard pour un client en déplacement professionnel. Une solution pourrait être une ouverture plus tôt sans service de plats chauds par exemple.

Perfect for one night stopover

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Es war sehr angenehm. Der Balkon ist ungewöhnlich, aber trotzdem perfekt. Man hat überlegt, geplant und eine Lösung gefunden. Also prima. Und wie versprochen: Ganz ruhig. Nur bitte noch einen Aussengriff an die Balkontür anbringen. Ansonsten Zimmerservice bzw. -reinigung perfekt, danke. Auch hervorzuheben die kostenlose minibar. Im Restaurant war ich auch, sehr lecker! Frühstück (mit Auswahl an Eierspeisen!) und leckerem Brot ebenfalls prima. Danke für alles.

OK für eine Nacht

Wir haben eine Nacht dort verbracht. Das Zimmer ist OK, auch wenn darin man das Alter des Hotels schon etwas ansieht. Gestört hat uns die schlechte Verdunkelung des Zimmers. Am Morgen war es schon sehr früh hell. Das Frühstücksbüffet war eher enttäuschend. Mangels Alternativen, würden wir aber wieder dieses Hotel nehmen.
