We started at wonderful Hotel Baeren for two nights, and loved every second! We arrived a little late, and our key was left for us, super convenient to check in. Ample free parking right next to the hotel, close to everything and VERY quiet. The staff was so kind and welcoming. They had a coffee/tea station for us 24/7, with fruit, water and granola bars as well. The breakfast was also incredible. We would highly recommend this hotel. We have no idea why it is only classified as a 3 star, it should be higher.

I would not recommend this hotel for a real business people because it is small and missing lot of amenities. For instance, hotel is missing air condition and elevator.
But value for the money it's great. There was one thing what I did not like it at all.
The middle age female receptionist was little bit nervous and rude; first sending me to the wrong room(it was very hot and I had to carry my luggage to the second floor and then back to the first; no elevator) and then, next day she came to my room at 12 o'clock to tell me that I have to leave immediately or she is going to charge me for the next night. I knew that check out time is 12 o'clock but every hotel give you at least half an hour tolerance. If you want to earn business, you have to be nice to your customers.
But value for the money it's great. There was one thing what I did not like it at all.

The Satnav did not take us to the door so we had a little difficulity locating it. However, it was on the main road and had ample car parking a must for us as is a resturant in or within walking distance from a Hotel. The meal here was excellent - not cheap but very good. The room and general condition of the Hotel was quite good for a three star in Switzerland. Will go back and have recommended to friends already.

Das Hotel Bären hatte ein Zimmer zur Verfügung. Die Kommunikation war hervorragend. Es gibt ein Check In über einen Schlüssel Code. Hat alles perfekt funktioniert.
Das Zimmer war Sauber, Comfortabel und sehr Modern ausgestattet. Leider konnte ich an dem Frühstück nicht teilnehmen.
Im Gang gab es eine Kühlschrank mit Wasser, eine Maschine für Kaffee und Tee.
Beim Check out wurde ich sehr freundlich bedient.

Gutes 3-Sterne Hotel. Funktionale Zimmer mit sehr guter Matratze. Wasserflaschen und auch eine Nespressomaschine auf dem Flur. Kleines gutes Frühstücksbüffet von guter Qualität (Wurst und Käse) mit ausreichender Auswahl.
Zimmer leider sehr warm (keine Klimaanlage). Verkehr ist gut hörbar auch auf Rückseite..

Im Badezimmer schimmel, dreck in jeder ecke

Negative: die sauberkeit der Badezimmer sind sehr schlimm.
Ich hatte ursprüngliche ein einzelzimmer gebucht. In der dusche war an jeder erdenklichen Stelle schimmel, duschgel war noch in der duschwanne und haare lagen noch auf dem boden..... usw. Ich habe dies gleich reklamiert und das bad wurde nochmals geputzt. Man hat aber keine Veränderung erkennen können. So musste ich gezwungenermaßen das bad mit ekel benutzen. Am nächsten morgen reklamierte ich nochmals und durfte 2 wochen später in eines der neueren zimmer übernachten.
Das zimmer sah super aus, bis ich ins Badezimmer ging. Ich hab soetwas noch nie gesehen. Als ob man nur die Trennwand geputzt hätte. Die fugen waren bis auf kopfhöhe braun vor schmutz. Überall schimmel in den Ecken. Da nützt mit die liebe karte vom Personal herzlichen wenig wenn ich als gast erst einmal das badezimmer putzen muss. Beim zweiten mal hätte ich definitiv etwas anderes erwartet. Zu guterletzt hab ich mir vom wc bakterien im unterleib eingefangen.

a bit tricky
Even hotels.com promised check-in time until late hours (it was important to me!), appeared that the place was just closed. I used their phone number, which was directed to some other place and I got advice. Finally: it was not complicated at all, but for first timer it was just nerve breaking plus running around the floors for keys etc. Breakfast was ok, though. location was ok and parking just at the house.

Das Hotel ist sehr nahe zum Bahnhof gelegen. Allerdings, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts, ist beim Hotel eine riesige Baustelle und es gibt keine Fussgängerampel. Man muss einen Umweg in Kauf nehmen, um bei einer Unterführen die viel befahrene Strasse \"über bzw. unterqueren\" zu können. Nach der Unterführung fehlt aber eine Beschilderung zum Hotel.

Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Extrawünsche werden fix erledigt. Bahnhof mit Geschäft und auch der Mc Donalds sind gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Gutes W-Lan. Schön angerichtetes Morgenbuffet, welches etwas vielfältiger sein könnte. Mal schauen ob beim nächsten Besuch das Buffet mit anderen Leckereien bestückt sein wird.

Mini Badezimmer ohne Steckdose
Das Zimmer ist klein aber in Ordnung. Allerdings bestand unser Doppelzimmer aus zwei 90cm Betten, welche einfach aneinander geschoben wurden. Das Badezimmer ist winzig (ca 1,5m2) und in die Jahre gekommen. Es gab zudem keine Steckdose im Badezimmer.
Die Reklamation wurde beim auschecken zwar aufgenommen, das war es dann aber auch.
Alles in allem gibt es in der Umgebung für diesen Preis mit Sicherheit bessere Hotels.

Für mich kein gutes Hotel!!!
Direkt an einer sehr befahrenen Strasse. Das Zimmer war winzigst (kein Schrank, und kaum Platz für den Koffer, kaum Abstellfläche), es roch sehr unangenehm und die WC-Schüssel war nicht sauber. Der Festsaal des Hotels lag direkt neben meinem Zimmer - konnte das Zimmer dann mitten in der Nacht wechseln, auch das zweite Zimmer roch unangenehm, der Lautsprecher des Fernsehers hatte eine Störung und der Lärm auf dem Parkplatz, von Menschen die von der Party kamen, war sehr störend.
Das Frühstück gab es nicht vor halb acht Uhr. Zum Glück gab es eine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer.
