I stayed here for seven nlghts in a one-month vacation travelling around Switzerland by train. It was a good choice, being only four minutes from the station, which offers direct trains to all corners of the country on the SBB network. I had a nice large corner room with windows on two sides, overlooking the courtyard, not the railway tracks. No noise issues. Breakfast was leisurely, no crowds, and offered a wide choice. Staff were efficient and friendly. I was given a second key-card so that the power could be kept on for air conditioning while I was out. I wish all my hotel stays were this good.

Very easy access from the train station and close to the old town center. Staff was most welcoming and most supportive upon departure regarding our needs. Room was very comfortable with good amenities. An easy and quick trip for catching flight at Zurich Flughafen.

Summer evening in Oltens old city

Great rooms but right next to railway. Trains can be heard going by but was not an issue for us.
The room we had was large, modern and nicely decorated. Breakfast was excellent but extra cost. We stayed because all hotels around Bern were booked due to a expo in that area. Olten is a small town with old city centre to explore. During summer there are many opportunities to enjoy night life, have dinner or a drink at an outdoor restaurant.

I found the room to be spacious and comfortable. The location is excellent--very close to the train station, but very quiet inside, and an easy walk to central Olten. The only criticism that I have is that the portable air conditioner in the room is quite noisy.

Can't Keep Away!

Superb large room with decent beds and plenty of space for belongings. Good fixed safe, teas and coffees in room (not replenished) and lovely shower and en-suite with towelling replaced regularly.

Got everything we asked for and more - and the breakfast was superb. Been several times before - will certainly go again.

The hotel Olten is located a short walk from the train station. The hotel is clean and the rooms are generally a good size. I have stayed here several times when visiting Olten and the staff are always helpful and friendly. The breakfast is a traditional Continental option and the food is fresh with a fairly good choice.

Best service ever

I plugged an adapter in that was not rated for Europe voltage and blew the breaker after reception was closed. I called the late night security and they fixed it in an hour and gave me a bottle of wine the next day for my inconvenience. on top of this they also helped me buy clothes when airlines lost my luggage. Room was comfortable and breakfast was delicious

Convenient hotel close to train station and river

Good value for money. Easy to reach as right near train station but quiet. Good laocaiton by river and also downstown resturants. The hotel has easy parking but should have some bettr signage that it is \"winkelpad\" as the garage. Front staff is very friendly and breakfast is quite good. Standard EU breakfast but with optiosn for other travelers.

Fantastic!

It was simply perfect. If we really have to find one \"negative\" point are the plastic tea cups in the room, but hey... the rest was seriously MORE than amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful, breakfast is really really good and also the girl working there was super nice. The room is super clean, well maintained and cured in every single detail. We will definitely stay there again if we'll ever end up in Olten again :)

Superb Place to Stay

This hotel is superbly clean and well furnished, and all the room facilities are in perfect condition.Breakfast also rates excellent with wide choice and extended service hours. A couple of very small irritations reduced the overall ranking- lovely kettle and cups in room, but no coffee - only 4 x fruit teas + sugar but these were not replenished despite a five day stay - neither was the bottle of free water

Very nice hotel in convenient location

5 minute walk from the train / bus station.

Also an easy, short walk to the old part of town, crossing the old and charming, wooden covered bridge.

Clean, bright, large room and bath.

Even though it was near the train tracks, the heavy windows did an excellent job of blocking the noise.

The included breakfast was quite nice, with warm eggs and bacon which we had not found in other hotels on our trip. Lots of cheeses, breads, cold cuts, cereals, yogurts and custom brewed coffee.

The beds were comfortable although they did not have the big, fluffy pillows and comforters that we found in smaller hotels in Switzerland.

Did not have washcloths (which is typical of Swiss hotels) nor a clock in the room. This is also, strangely, typical of Swiss hotels... the land of clocks. Go figure!

Sehr nettes Personal im Frühstücksraum und an der Rezeption. Tolles Frühstücksbuffet mit Birchermüsli, Pancakes, diversen Käse- und Wurstsorten, Lachs, Eiern … wir hatten ein sehr großes und ruhiges Zimmer in den Innenhof und haben von den Zügen nichts gehört obwohl es fußläufig sehr nahe am Bahnhof ist. Die Altstadt ist über die Alte Holzbrücke in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Bei der Post ums Eck fährt außerdem ein Bus nach Aarburg. Wir würden das Hotel definitiv wieder buchen.

Erneut im Hotel Olten gewesen, netter Empfang, obwohl direkt am Bahnhof gelegen, war das Zimmer ruhig. Zimmer zu Anfang - wie immer - sehr warm. Mit der sehr gut funktionierennden Klimaanalage aber schnell auf angenehme Temperatur gebracht. Frühstück in Ordnung, Kaffee lecker. Für meinen kurzen Geschäftstermin perfekt.

Ich hatte das Zimmer mit Quitsch Betten, bei jeder Bewegung gab es einen Ton als wäre ich in einem Konzert. Musste leider eine schlaflose Nacht verbringen. War sehe enttäuschend.

Tanto spazio e in psoizione strategica

Camere veramente molto spaziose, hotel in pieno centro, a 5 minuti dalla stazione e con posteggio direttamente nello stabile! Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto buono, e cura per l'accoglienza (caffé+acqua gratis).
Peccato solo che parte del mobilio (poltrone/sedie) si presenta un po' usurato.
La reception non è disponibile 24/7: benché la modalità di check-in fuori orario si sia svolta senza problemi sarebbe stato utile essere informati per tempo che già alle 20:00 durante un weekend non ci sarebbe stato personale in reception.

Ideale Lage für Kunden, die per Bahn anreisen

Gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis mit den Weekend-Spezialtarifen, dafür weniger Service, da die Rezeption am Sonntagnachmittag geschlossen ist. Aber das Einchecken mit Selbstbedienung für den Zimmerschlüssel hat prima geklappt.

Personal sehr freundlich, leider lässt das Frühstücksbuffet zu wünschen übrig, kein Zopf am Sonntag, kaum Brot, das meiste war aufgebraucht und man musste das Personal darauf aufmerksam machen. Das Zimmer war ok, leider funktionierte der TV, die Klimaanlage und die Nachttischlampe nicht, wurde dann nach der Reklamation behoben, sollte eigentlich vor der Zimmerübergabe kontrolliertwerden.

Propreté irréprochable. salle de bain très étroite. très bon petit-déjeuner. chambre donnant sur la voie ferrée et très bruyante. le parking n'est pas compris dans le prix et nous avons dû payer un supplément (près de 20% du prix de la chambre), alors que lors de la réservation nous avions précisé un parking gratuit.

Lobby ouvert partiellement mais très bien organisé pour une arrivée en dehors des heures.
Chambre \"calme\" à condition de garder les fenêtres fermées et la clim éteinte: proximité de la gare, de la route principale et des fêtards, particulièrement la nuit du samedi au dimanche.
Parking public à côté, prix très élevé malgré un arrangement avec l'hôtel.
Accueil très agréable et compétent, bon petit déjeuner, grande chambre bien aménagée, une bouteille d'eau (75cl) offerte, très bon wi-fi.

Hotel gleich neben der Aare

Das Hotel ist einfach zu finden und gleich neben dem Bahnhof von Olten. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Innenhof (Zimmer 207) welches grosszügig gross war und unseren Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Das Zimmer verfügte neben einer schönen Einrichtung über eine Kaffeemaschine mit Tassen (Tee & Kafikapseln) und sogar eine Glasflasche Wasser war dabei. Getränke konnten wir aber auch am Automaten für CHF 3.- (Cola) rauslassen. Das Frühstück war super lecker, es hatte eine grosse Auswahl und der Service 1A. Der Cappuccino war perfekt. Das Personal am Empfang war super freundlich.

Wir waren Abends auf der anderen Seite der Aare in der Altstadt im Gasthaus zum Löwen Thai essen. Einfach wunderbar, gleich nach der Brücke auf der rechten Seite.

Das einzige worauf man achten sollte ist das parkieren des Auto. Wir haben im Parkhaus gleich neben dem Hotel parkiert und mussten CHF 18.- bezahlen. Es wäre von Vorteil, genau nachzurechnen, ob ein Ausfahrt Ticket für 15.- nicht mehr Sinn macht. Uns wurde beim Check-Out gesagt, dass wir nur 12.- zu zahlen hätten, aber am Automat waren es effektiv 18.- . Hätten wir also doch das Ausfahrtticket nehmen sollen. ;)

Das Zimmer hatte eine tolle Atmosphäre und war sehr gross. Das Bad hatte eine angenehm grosse Dusche. Es war sehr sauber und gepflegt.
Mineralwasser wurde vom Hotel offeriert und es gab eine kleine Kaffeemaschine mit Lavazza-Kaffee ohne extra dafür zahlen zu müssen.
Personal habe ich nicht kennengelernt, da ich spät angereist in und früh wieder weg. Leider gab es kein Frühstück. Das war der einzige Wermutstropfen.

Très bel hôtel, belle chambre, personnel très agréable, petit déjeuner correct. Par contre, le grincement de nos deux lits simples au moindre mouvement et le bruit du train qui passait extrêmement souvent a gâché notre seule nuit à l'hôtel.

Non era chiaro come arrivare a piedi dalla stazione, ho fatto un giro lungo a causa di googlemaps
Avevo espressamente scritto che sono vegana. La sera alla reception l'ho ripetuto e mi è stato detto che non c'era nessun problema. La mattina a colazione il cameriere mi ha risposto che non sapeva se avevano latte di soya o di riso e che doveva cercare. Finalmente quando ormai avvo terminato sono giunti con il latte di riso, chiedendomi se andava bene (é vegano?) e per scusarsi mi hanno portato due dolcetti vegani.
In camera c'é wi-fi, ma i dati che mi hanno consegnato erano scorretti. Ho chiamato varie volte alla reception per chiedere se ci fossero altre password, ma nessuna risposta. Ho docuto chiamare l'albergo dal mio cellulare e solo allora la signorina ha risposto e mi ha consegnato il nome e la password corretta!

Ideal gelegen und leicht erreichbar per Bahn oder Auto. Gut gelegen, mann ist in 3-4 Minuten in der schönen Altstadt.
Mann kann die Züge leicht hören am Morgen weil es sonst überall ruhig ist ansonsten wirklich alles super. Super Frühstück‘s Buffet mit sehr netter Bedienung

Hotel di livello per ciò che riguarda pulizia e servizi. Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Peccato la reception non aperta fino a sera e molto limitata negli orari domenicali, oltre alla vicinanza alla stazione ferroviaria di Olten che può provocare qualche disturbo notturno per il passaggio dei treni
