Road trip

This is a great hotel to stay in on or road trip to Italy
The room was super comfy and I had a great sleep.
The room and bathroom were spotless
We booked a table at the restaurant, just as well as it was fully booked.
Service and food were excellent.
I will definitely be back as we do this trip 2/3 times a year and I’m always on the lookout for a good overnight stay.

One night stay on our way to Italy.

The room was lovely, bed excellent and staff very welcoming. But the room was facing the main road and, even given ear plugs, we got to sleep at 01.30am.
The room was very warm so we had to leave the window open, as there was no fan or air conditioning.
If you want to stay you must have a rear facing bedroom.
This is our second stay and we had the same problem last time.

We loved everything! The room was nicely decorated, clean and quiet. The staff was great as was the breakfast. We ate diner there also and it was delicious. It was very reasonably priced and about one hour drive from the Zurich airport.

A gem of a stay

Travelling through Switzerland on our way to Italy and what a gem of a stay this was. They upgraded us on arrival and the room has a lovely sunny disposition. Slept well with our own duvets even though in a double bed. Breakfast as way better than we had imagined - delicious. Thanks for a great stay and for telling us about the local walk to the Chapel on the hill.

Beautiful hotel, very helpful and kind personnel. Special thanks to Edith, Peter and Suraya, for making our stay in Kappel so nice.The only negative point I can find is the noise of traffic. But to compensate that, we found nice earplugs next to our bed, in case we wanted to sleep with open windows.

Quite international and very pleasant \"inn\"

We chose this place for a night because it's fairly close to the autobahn. Expected a simply rural inn-style place; found a super-comfortable, spacey and quite high-tech place with comfy rooms, great breakfast, modern and stylish interior. The team was very helpful, guests are quite international. Free parking and very good free WIFI available. A small downside is that it's in the middle of nowhere, but there are a few places in walking distance where you can get food if you don't like the hotel's (good) selection. And there's the odd loud motorcycle in the middle of the night, so you may want to close windows or use earplugs (provided for free). Overall a great experience.

Prima voor een overnachting richting zuiden/noorden. Uiterst vriendlijk en behulpzaam personeel. Kamer is karig maar ruim voldoende. Waterkoker of koffie op de kamer is eigenlijk een must. Wel koffie en thee op de gang overigens. Restaurant is uitstekend! Ontbijt is ook prima maar wel wat aan de prijzige kant.

Perfekt!

Trotz ausgebuchtem Haus und sehr großem Trubel im Essensbereich wurde ich bei meiner sehr späten Ankunft freundlich und zuvorkommend behandelt. Die junge Dame an der Rezeption nahm sich genug Zeit mir alles wissenswerte langsam und verständlich zu erklären.

Anschließend bekam ich Zugang zu einem geräumigen und sehr schönen Zimmer mit einem komfortablen Bett. Am nächsten Morgen war ein sehr leckeres Frühstücksbuffet im Preis inbegriffen.

Sofern man überhaupt irgendetwas \"negatives\" anmerken könnte, so wäre das der Geschmack der Würstchen (beim Frühstück). Sie schmeckten nach ziemlich wenig ... aber dafür waren das Rührei und die anderen Speisen wirklich extrem lecker. Ich kann den Landgasthof Kreuz daher nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein sehr gepflegter Landgastof mit sehr guter Küche. Das ganze Personal ist enorm nett und zuvorkommend. Herzlicher Empfang, gratis Upgrade erhalten im renovierten Hausteil, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet. Frühstückbuffet top. Gut mit ÖV ab Olten erreichbar. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Hier wird sowohl Freundlichkeit, Herzlichkeit und Sauberkeit ganz groß geschrieben. Härtere Kissen wären angenehm gewesen. Und wir fanden es etwas zu warm im ganzen Hotel. Wir empfehlen diese Unterkunft zu 100 % weiter und würden sie immer wieder buchen.
