Everything was amazing, we loved entire aesthetic. However, we ran into some staff that was very helpful and some that were not. Most of our issues were with the restaurants. They would turn us around saying we needed reservations when that wasn’t true. All of the bar staff was very nice and fun. Our favorite was Juan. Kao was our favorite restaurant experience there. My friend went to Cal and loved it as well.

Amazing 5-day vacation at the resort (5/5). Loved Kao and Capella restaurants for dinner as well as the buffet and Vibra restaurant for breakfast. 2-bedroom suite was awesome with three bathrooms. Whole family satisfied. Pools and bars were great. Only issue is the amount of seaweed on the beach but still wouldn’t stop me from returning 😀

We had a wonderful stay with our family (w/ young kids!). Facilities were beautiful and clean! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The highlight of our stay was our concierge, Fernanda, she was absolutely amazing and so helpful. She made our stay feel effortless and was so on top of things which made a big impact on our experience. She was in regular communication and easy to connect with, let us know of resort happenings daily, made all of our dinner reservations ahead of time, reserved us cabanas, set up a special welcome and later a birthday delivery for my husband, took care of everything related to our lagoon sunset cruise, and made sure we were taken care of completely from beginning to end. Our overall experience would not compare without her! She was so easy to communicate with and we saw her daily around the hotel. THANK YOU Fernanda, you're the best!
Some opportunity for growth in the resort: not all of our friends had the same experience. Some of us were given welcome drinks upon arrival, others were not. Our concierge was fantastic, but our friends had the opposite experience and no service from their concierge. Some of us were given a coupon booklet for things around the resort, and others were not. Would be nice for consistent experience for all. The food could also be elevated. We tried most of the restaurants and buffet and it was okay but nothing too great, seems like a lot of the same basic food. We also wished we could take stuff to go and eat @ the pool

Beautiful place the view is amazing however did not like that the golf course wasn’t open to the guests for whatever reason, the bar at the hotel closed at 11 so at that time it’s kind of like ok time to go to sleep the pool bar closing at 5 or 6 is also not to my liking.Also first day we got there my group goes to the pool bar we hadn’t even had 1 drink when I asked for 5 shots one for each person in my group and I was denied getting a shot due to a random lady that I didn’t know being drunk I’m all for cutting people off if they’re too wasted but what did that have to do with us we had literally just asked for our first drink of the day. Also the food itself not the best but not the worst overall I give the place a 6.5 out of 10 nice place to relax and get away but could definitely do way better in many aspects

We had an amazing time and experience! All the staff was great specially Aurelio, Victoria, Vyenna, Edgar, jorge with the activities. The room service was great. Our air consditioner was not working the first 2 days but they were so quick to check and fix it. The only downside we had was that everything closed too early and we don’t want to go every night to the strip at a club. We mainly wanted to enjoy our time at the resort.

Wow! Loved this place! We will be back for sure. We go to Cancun ALOT! :-) … and we have stayed at many resort. This is now in our top 3 for sure. It has been recently renovated and everything is new, clean, and nice! Pool is great for kids and adults too. We loved our beach facing Canabas! Food at the speciality restaurants is delicious! If you can upgrade to the concierge level… it is totally worth it. We had Galdino and Natalia help all throughout and it was so convenient! They set us up with a Sunset cruise that we had never done in our trips to Cancun… it was phenomenal to watch the sunset on the Lagoon on a boat. If you decide on this resort, you will love it! Overall 5 Stars!

The property was amazing, beautiful and super clean. Alberto at the check in made us feel so welcomed, and like family! Jehu at the bar next to the pool was our favorite, he was so attentive and even made us a delicious mango margarita!! I would say this property is great for families looking for lots of kids activities and entertainment, or those looking for a peaceful relaxing trip. I would say I was disappointed with the entertainment for adults, and even just night life! I traveled with my fiancé and found ourselves bored most nights.

We absolutely loved our stay at Paradisus! Immediately upon arrival the staff were so incredible and friendly. Our room was so gorgeous! Felt like it was straight out of a travel magazine. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable! The cleaning staff set out the cutest robes and slippers for our boys. It was adorable! The food was great! We ate mostly at the Gastro Hall buffet because it was easy with the kids. So many good options! We frequented the 24/7 ice cream shop a few times a day, which was a total hit for the kids! The kids pool is great. We had so much fun swimming! I would recommend this resort 1000x. We’ll definitely be back!

This resort is absolutely stunning. I understand why they call themselves The Icon. The property is so grand and luxurious and in great location. We had the pleasure of staying at Paradisus Cancún in the second week of May for our anniversary. Our concierge Javier (Javo) was professional and friendly and took excellent care of us. He arranged dinner reservations, secured pool-side day beds and recommended activities daily. The service from ALL the staff was top notch. Our room at The Reserve exceeded our expectations and the view was perfect. We were sad to leave but will be back! Thank you!

Had such an amazing time thanks to Rommel! He made sure we were taken care of with everything the entirety of our stay. Had an amazing spa experience and massage. The resort is super clean and well maintained. Food is great. Special thanks to Jorge at the Italian restaurant and Roger at the steakhouse. Amazing service. Great view, suitable for family, staff are great, pool are good, pool bar are good, food are ok need more portion on restrauant, on check in the front desk guy told us we are not allowed to go to couple of restaurants I don’t know why but when I booked no one mention that to me, buffet are ok! Coffe and ice cream area are clean and good, activities are good, there was no dance floor, pool table was not in good condition, need one more bar inside like ginger bar!

My family and I stayed at the resort for 6 days. Everything was great!! We booked through the Expedia and we got room upgrade, we had the lagoon view and they put us at the room with a beach front view … room was very clean, they clean the rooms 2x a day … never had this before … we had 24 hours room service which was pretty fast, staff was very helpful and kind everywhere we go. Pool was nice, lots of space, we went in April, so it wasn’t full of people… they have nice restaurant, food was great, one of the best hotel/resort food we had experience… the only thing I would say could be better was the drinks, not the taste, but the amount of alcohol, we felt we were drinking juice, but in our last day we started to order a shot on the side and we solved the problem. Next time I know what to do.

It was a good stay. They recently updated some things so that was good and the people and service was great. However, some places had small leaks and the air conditioner made a small noise at night. Nothing mayor that should deter anyone from going as it is an older hotel. I used to live in Cancun and used to go there as a child so I’m sure the Reno’s were needed but it’s a beautiful hotel. The greenery is nice.

L’attitude du personnel y laissait aussi à désirer.

Second visit to resort. We visited the third week after reopening. We had a great trip. We used the gym, did several of the sports and cultural activities and some of the evening activities/shows. We appreciated having them available to us. The gym is excellent. We also loved the Bali beds, the coushined chaise lounges, the remodeled rooms and the 24 hour ice cream and coffee. I’d definitely come back!

This place was beautiful. The staff was very friendly. If you get to the pool side or beach seating with umbrellas by 9am you’ll have which ever seat you want. Keep in mind the beach cabanas are sold separately. Beach is beautiful but be careful there are strong currents. Swim up bar was amazing. Food was excellent many options to choose from, also a few restaurants inside. And if you are looking for excursions you can purchases them near the pool and the place is located literally across the street so you don’t have to taxi or uber anywhere. Very kid friendly. Only regret is not staying longer. I’ll be back!!

Our room was really nice. We stayed on the adult only side the Reserve. The only not so great restaurant was Capella the Italian restaurant. Food was mediocre. The lasagna was terrible small and dry from being under the heat lamp forever. Spa pool has seen better days. Also all the spas have no working functions and are not heated. The pool must have a leak since it is not full. It is not even up to the skimmer. Needs work. We still enjoyed our stay but i don't think i would be back
