Ocean view room price with a pool view
The positives about this hotel are the location right across from the beach. You can watch a beautiful sunset right in front of the hotel and the outdoor seating for breakfast has a beautiful ocean view. The hotel is located right around the corner from a nice little outdoor food court, but is far from the main strip of beach and restaurants in Sao Luis.
The lobby of the hotel and the restaurant area are the only thing that is really nice about this hotel. When you get into the rooms and the hallways leading to the rooms, the hotel seems more like a 2 star hotel than a 4 star. The hallways are dark with stains on the floors. The bedding and curtains were old and worn in the room. The air conditioner leaked so badly that there was a huge pool of water in the corner of the room that soaked some of my belongings before I realized that it was leaking.
Probably the most frustrating thing was that we booked two ocean view rooms and both rooms were on lower floors with views of the pool with just a tiny glimpse of the ocean above the pool structures. We paid extra for ocean view and the advertising of these rooms as ocean view felt dishonest.
Additionally, they were constructing some kind of pergola or something in the pool area right outside the rooms so several days were filled with noise of sawing and hammering. It was impossible to relax.

Nice place, disappointed with quality of room
Everything was nice about the hotel, the staff, lobby and such. The room however was not very nice condition. Mildew and mold stains on the walls. Smell of mildew and the air conditioning did not work too well. The beds also were pretty hard.

I found São Luis' hotels to be a bit more expensive than what I expected. This taken into consideration, I'd say what you get at Brisamar is a very fair deal. The service is fine, rooms are very clean, breakfast is very good, and the pool is very welcome as it is always very hot in Maranhão. Location is good, and I was able to walk to several very good eateries (Cabana de sol, Peti´s Caldos, etc). Locals say, however, that the city is not very safe, especially after sunset. I had no problems, though.

Apenas o café que poderia ter mais opções diferente para acompanhar o padrão do hotel, se você quiser comer um ovo frito e omelete é cobrado à parte. O estacionamento deixa um pouco a desejar na questão da segurança, ficamos expostos esperando alguém abrir o portão e precisa descer do carro, a rua é escura e deserta, não tem nenhum segurança do hotel.

A localização do hotel é muito boa, fácil de se locomover pela cidade. Tem um vista linda para praia. O hotel é mais antigo porém muito conversado e pelo que deu para perceber está passando por algumas reformas nos andares dos quarto. O quarto possui um bom tamanho, as camas são confortáveis, ficamos em dois andares diferentes, o banheiro do 3 andar possui um pressão no chuveiro melhor que a do 2 andar. A área da piscina é ótima com um excelente atendimento.

Cheguei quase 13:00 pra fazer o checkin e fui informado que o apartamento estava limpando, pedi pra me colocarem em outro e tive que aguardar um bom tempo. O quarto limpo, mas precisa de manutenção, principalmente o banheiro que está muito antigo, azulejos remendados, ducha higiênica sem suporte, vazamento no box, colchão precisa ser trocado. Café da manhã muito bom, mas cobram se pedir ovos por exemplo. Por fim, fiquei de frente pra rua lateral, tem um boate na frente, barulho infernal, pra descansar foi difícil.

Hotel mediano, de forma Geral. Pontos positivos: localização e atendimento. Pontos negativos: a limpeza deixa a desejar (uma das toalhas de banho estava com cheiro horrível), café da manhã (apesar da variedade, os itens que deveriam se quentes estavam frios) e conforto (o ar condicionado estava claramente necessitando de uma manutenção. A vista do hotel e as demais instalações são razoavelmente boas, porém a acústica entre quartos é complicada.

Não há como caminhar na praia de perto do hotel, que é suja e imprópria para banho.

Hotel muito bom, com atendimento excelente! Boa localização em São Luís, o que facilitou muito o acesso! Contemplar o pôr do sol no fim da tarde na frente do hotel foi bem especial. Só deixo uma dica para melhorar, tem poucos equipamentos na academia seria bom colocar outra esteira, tive que ficar esperando desocuparem a única que tinha.

Mas o que realmente foi muito ruim foi o atendimento das recepcionistas (parecem que estamos de favor), precisam de treinamento de atendimento ao publico / cliente.

Bom hotel, mas mal cuidado
Fiz e paguei a reserva pelo Hotéis.com com mais de um mês de antecedência e ao chegar no hotel a recepção disse que não tinha reserva e me colocaram num quarto de solteiro, sendo que eu havia pago quarto de casal. Na manhã seguinte já me transferiram pra um quarto de casal, mas não explicaram o motivo da não localização da reserva e eu acredito que havia tido overbooking. O hotel é grande, a área da piscina é bacana, tem um SPA disponível com custos à parte. O café da manhã é legal e gostoso, com bastante opções, inclusive omeletes e tapiocas preparadas na hora conforme o gosto do hóspede.
O quarto é amplo e o chuveiro é bem gostoso, mas precisam melhorar a limpeza. Eu matei não uma, nem duas, mas QUATRO baratas no meu quarto e ao acionar a recepção o que fizeram foi encaminhar uma pessoa ao quarto com inseticida. Tb tinha muitos mosquitos (muriçocas) no quarto. Não ofereceram absolutamente nada para compensar os dois problemas (reserva e barata) que tive. O hotel conta com 2 elevadores mas durante toda a hospedagem algum deles estava \"parado para manutenção\". Mas os funcionários são legais. Em resumo, o que falta é cuidar mais do hotel, pois especialmente nesta época de férias em que o hotel está sempre lotado é inadmissível apresentar problemas como estes. São Luís é muito procurada por turistas e o povo é incrível.

O hotel é excelente e o atendimento dado por todos tb! Apenas gostaria de apontar a necessidade de que as atividades que estão acontecendo na cidade, sejam sabidas pelos funcionários ou mesmo afincadas na entrada do hotel. Digo isso pq havia inúmeras celebrações e comemorações regionais acontecendo na cidade e ninguém sabia informar.

Quero deixar registrado q a minha estadia teria sido boa se não fosse o jantar que meu filho comeu no restaurante do hotel, ele tb estava hospedado em outro ap. Comeu um prato de macarrão com frutos do mar, o qual fez muito mal....nós almoçamos e jantamos no próprio restaurante do Brisamar. Sómente ele comeu esse prato , passou a noite toda e mais dois dias muito mal. No fechamento da conta comunicamos o ocorrido , estamos acostumados comer esse prato em outros lugares e nunca fez mal!

Bel hôtel avec de beaux volumes et de belles prestations : parking, piscine, spa, etc. Chambres vastes et propres, avec était balcon, bien équipées avec une bonne literie. Duas coisas me deixaram chateado: A água que é servida no café da manhã para fazer o chá estava completamente suja, ou seja, repleta de detritos e restos do que provavelmente deve ser de gordura de leite, numa clara demonstração de falta de limpeza. A garrafa térmica de água deveria ser utilizada somente para água, mas não é isso que ocorre. Outro ponto é que haviam muitas baratinhas no quarto. Matei umas três.

Adoro o Brisamar... Já me hospedei aqui em outras ocasiões e o Hotel é maravilhoso. Contudo o ar condicionado não é suficiente para o tamanho do quarto e fez muito calor à noite... isso me deixou bastante incomodada, pois o controle não estava no apartamento.
