Room clean as expected, kitchen had everything you need staffs very helpful. 2mins walk to the beach and 5mins to town. False advertisement for Air conditioning so the room was too hot so bye to good sleep. Left the windows open throughout our stay and my family especially the children wet bitten by mosquitoes everyday. Bin collection done after midnight of Friday, trucks were very loud and came back to back multiple times for more than 1 hour so nightmare for light sleeper especially if you have to get up early. The pool was very cold that children couldn’t swim but play around but for some strange reasons people lay down reading books/novels and my kids were shouted at by a grumpy woman just because they asked each other a question across the pool. It made the kids and myself feel so uncomfortable and we never got to go out again after that which was unfair for them. People don’t go to the pool side where kids are meant to have fun to read in the UK even if they did they will not be shouting at kids for expressing themselves so there was definitely more to it that meets the eye with the woman because when other kids came round and were loud and running around she didn’t tell them off. (Discrimination). The town itself is very quiet so will not recommend it to people who likes to be in a bubbly place.

Quite average very basic furniture. Good bed. Felt deserted when we got there. Just after Christmas. A long walk from nearest station. Could not get a bus that goes any where there or taxi. Long walk to shopping and restaurants even though there was a corner shop bakery.
Very small space in living area. Our unit overlooked the bins...not pleasant amd the bin collectors made so much noise at 1am. The street lacked soul and about a 10 min to beach down the road. Would not return

The property had a fabulous pool and the room was large with a great kitchen and living space for longer stays. The kitchen did lack some basics, like a cutting knife and cutting board, a water pitcher and spatula for cooking in the frying pan but overall was had the majority of what you needed.

The room was very clean but could be better maintained. The faucets were corroded and the shower head wouldn't stay in place.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable but the large window letting in natural light were wonderful.

Spotless and large rooms, a decent size swimming pool with loungers always available, 2 minutes walk to the beach.

The only downside, these days poor Wi-Fi is \"unforgiveable\".

Stayed in the aparetmenr with two bedrooms and terrace on the ground floor. This was spacicious and comfortale for us and pur two young children. Great that this had two bathrooms, the kitchen was equipped just fine, travel cot good quality. Loved the small pool for the kids and the bigger pool for us to swim some lengths. Short walk (5 mins) to the beach and play parks with swings and slides nearby.
Would recommend for a family holiday.

Location is great, walking distance to restaurants and shops and several beaches. Room was big and spacious and clean, very comfortable bed and great bathroom with shower with high water pressure. Problem was the VIP amenities were not respected. We got free parking, but 1 free beverage per person (bottle of water) was not honored and when we asked they kept refusing. You also have to pay 3.5 Euros per extra towel, including beach or pool towels (and only get 1 bath towel per person). Not even an extra towel for the kitchen. For the price there should have been more in terms of basic amenities.

Spacious apartment hotel with everything you need

After a delay to travelling which the Hotel were good enough to honour without extra charges, we finally arrived at the hotel. The Apparrment’s are spacious, and the terrace will make a huge difference if you have a family or larger group.
They have basic equipment for limited cooking, also the all important kettle. There’s a full sized undercounted fridge too.
The outdoor pool and baby pool were still in use during our visit.
Overall an enjoyable stay, even though it was for work. I’ll be a frequent visitor over the winter and will definitely come back to the same hotel.

We loved our stay here, the room was exactly as in the pictures and very spacious for our family. It was great to have our own kitchenette and fridge so we could prepare simple meals and snacks. The kids loved the pool and it's great for kids, with a separate toddler pool and half the pool at 1m. The terrace bar was small but well stocked with a good selection of drinks and good food. The kids enjoyed the pizza, pasta and sandwiches very much.
One thing that caught us out was we have dinner earlier (6pm) than is usual here and many of the beachfront restaurants don't open till 7.30pm/8pm.
Staff were friendly and helpful and the entire property was very well kept and clean.
Our one complaint was the lack of Wifi strength in the rooms and by the pool, we had to go to the reception to be able to properly use the Wifi.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Rooms cleaned everyday and fresh towels as required. Very quiet as it was out of season. Apartment was big and very bright. Kitchen could do with a toaster but there’s a microwave, kettle and 2 ring job. There’s a hairdryer in the bathroom which has a bath and overhead shower. Very powerful shower too. Beds were comfy. They were made up as a twin but housekeeping sorted it for us straight away. Hotel is right near the beach too. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent. The only thing missing is a tea towel. We had a few one pot pasta meals and using a bathroom towel is odd. Other than that it’s perfect. They even makeup the rooms which is unusual in an apt rental. We found breakfast to be expensive but easy. It’s a few doors down from the beach.

Another great experience at Atenea Park,service cleanliness comfortable beds changed and plenty fresh towels..As this is our third visit I think that says it all.

Pool and 2 minute walk to beach. A little tight for family of 4 but price right. Perfect to recover from jet lag , flight from Boston before heading for Barcelona. 4 trains per hour. Vilinova to Passieg de Gracia. 12 minute walk or 7 Euro tax to train. I stayed 10 days, 1st 7 95 degrees and Humid. Festa Mejor 1st 7 days . Considering going back, upgrade hotel. Spanish speaking wife helped. Catalonia!

Nice property close to the beach

Really enjoyed stay here. Beach over the road and close to local bakery and supermarket. Town centre and plenty of restaurants within easy walk. Came during local festival so loads going on. Locals were really friendly as well. Really liked the town as less touristy so a good family vibe. All in all would definitely visit again.

Nice Hotel, 5 Minutes from the Beach

We visited in mid/late May, just before the tourist season kicks in properly and found the Atenea Park Hotel to be the perfect holiday domicile.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and all spoke good English. All areas of the hotel were very clean and quite modern. Pool and sunbathing area in the central card are lovely. But the beach is just 5 minutes walk away, if you prefer the sea. The beach and water quality are gorgeous!
We stayed in a self-catering apartment and found it to be very quiet and comfy. The rooms were clean, and brigh; furnishing basic but of good quality. The living area has a large corner sofa, a dining table, two chairs and a large TV. There is a good size closet in the living/kitchen area as well as one in the bedroom.
The bed and pillows were incredibly comfy! We were provided with an oblong firm pillow and smaller square soft one. The bathroom is spacious, clean and has a tub and bidet.
Housekeeping comes daily if you wish.
The kitchen facilities are basic but we found it to be more than sufficient for our needs, as we were only cooking simple meals.

Great Hotel in Vilanova I la Geltru

This is a very good value for money hotel located close to the beach in Vilanova. The rooms were ample, beds very comfortable and the rooms and hotel in general very clean. We had an issue with the air conditioning which was resolved very quickly. Although private car parking is available at extra cost, there is lots of safe street parking just outside the hotel. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of food and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.

The service was good. The room was very hot and we could not sleep. The temperature control must not have been working - we tried changing the settings and heard the fan working but no cold air came out. It was early May so it was chilly outside but we couldn't open the windows. Otherwise, the room was fine - a large suite with a living room, bedroom, and kitchenette. We could walk to the center and had good access to the beach, restaurants, etc. The pool looked very nice but it was too cold to swim.

We have just returned from the Atenea and shall start planning our next visit. My husband is in a wheelchair and we stayed in room 104 which now has a roll in shower and grab rails in shower and by loo - we have stayed here before and the room is spacious and the desk staff very friendly and helpful. Our stay was enhanced by the Atenea having made the alterations to room 104 and we thank them for it. The hotel is situated just a short level walk from the main promenade and the beach and this area if full of lovely cafes and restaurants. We highly recommend the Atenea for an easy, trouble free holiday that does not 'break the bank'.

We stayed here for a conference in Barcelona, and extended our trip for some down time in Vilanova i la Geltru.
The hotel is not on the beachfront as their photos state. However, it is just one back from the beachfront, and easy to access. They have underground parking for a fee, or there is on street parking that is free and plenty available.
The apartment/room is large enough for 2 people. Well supplied kitchen and large bathroom.
The hotel amenities were closed when we were there - pool and gym. This was not communicated to us when we booked, so were quite disappointed as we wanted to use the gym and had planned on this when making the booking.
Staff were friendly, and there are lovely restaurants within walking distance. The hotel has a restaurant that looked lovely, however we did not dine there.
Will stay here again for sure.

These apartments provide you with space for a short break - self catering with limited facilities but fine for breakfast - much cheaper to do your own than use the restaurant. Good location next to the sea front and a short bus ride from the station - or a 20 min walk.
No English speaking to stations part from sky news or CNN.

Athena apartments are well worth staying in. Modern and clean apartments with all you would expect for an apartment stay. Nice pool area and on site restaurant. Hotel reception is one of the friendliest I have experienced and certainly makes for a nicer stay. A 10-12 minute walk to train station and two minutes to beach.

I booked this hotel as a stop over for two nights on our way down to Cambrills from Barcelona. It was close to the beach, restaurants and bars. The swimming pool was lovely and I actually found myself wishing I had longer to enjoy the hotel and the area.

The rooms, which actually consist of a small kitchen/living room and a separate bedroom (as well as a bathroom), were clean and bright. It was great to have a small fridge for drinks and snacks. Very nice pool area and restaurant/bar with a large TV to watch football games! The only negatives were that water went all over the floor from the shower and that a male receptionist failed to get us an early morning taxi, despite our reservation of one the night before. If our plane hadn't been delayed, the receptionist would have caused us to miss our flight.

One slight irritation is that it can be difficult to park on the street as its so close to the beach and parking in hotel carpark is €12 a day

Amazing, great pool, big apartment, clean, friendly helpful staff, close to beach and a short walk to the main rambala with bars and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone looking for a non rowdy Holliday but still able to go out of an evening.

Great holiday destination, very close to beach

This apartment was two rooms with a good bed and pillows. It also had two opening windows, which we like. If you book here, ask to be away from (or above) the restaurant as it can be noisy. The free parking is excellent and under the building. We ate at the restaurant once and the food was very good. All in all, a great experience! It has a good fridge and shower.

Happy to recommend

Fantastic hotel, facilities, location and staff. Room was so clean and plenty of space. Staff were extremely friendly and very helpful especially the chamber maids. Room can be cleaned every day if you require and a great little roof top terrace with washing lines and a laundry room. Pool was always empty for reasons I don't know as it was great, some days we had it to ourselves! 2 minutes from a beautiful beach and lots of restaurants within a few minutes. Getting here from Barcelona airport by taxi not expensive. I can't find anything negative to say as it is a great hotel to stay in. Would definitely recommend and hope to return again in the future.

More like 4* than 3* :)

Modern, clean & comfortable- and great location! Very close to Vilanova's beautiful beach & town centre, yet still a quiet & relaxing small complex. More like 4* than 3* accomodation, will definately be staying again & have already recommended to friends & family.
