The property and staff were great. We liked the location but we also like to walk a lot. Maybe far for some. The only negative was the bed. We reserved 3 rooms and we all complained about how uncomfortable the beds were. Maybe just add mattress toppers?? The hotel would almost be perfect!! We loved our stay otherwise

Hotel is one of the nicest we’ve ever stayed in. Staff were ultra friendly, nothing was too much.
Hotel is 30 minute to town, but getting the bikes from the hotel, made it really easy.
Parking was great and safe at the back of the hotel.
Nice pool and bathing area, as well as a well equipped gym.

The 5* hotel is underwhelming

It was a perfectly nice hotel but requires work and changes to be what would be a 5*. I was sold on the photos of lounging round the pool which is why I spent the £300 a night to find if I wanted the loungers round the pool I’d have to pay €150 a day each. That is insane to me. The breakfast choices were vast but you’d be lucky to find a clean cleared table to sit at. The main problem is the branding for the hotel curates luxury but the hotel doesn’t serve it. The hotel also has loungers on the beach but to use them you could have to pay €20. The experience didn’t reach the transcendence promised. If you’re reading this you’d probably go there and have a pleasant enough stay, but don’t expect lux.

Tokens for towels in a 5 star hotel

A nice and modern hotel in a quiet location. However, the system of using plastic cards to exchange for beach towels felt unnecessary and out of place — it really ruined the overall impression, especially for a 5-star hotel. Towels should already be placed on the sunbeds, not handed out through a token system.

first off, hotel is beautifull and in a beautifull location. Only major problem we had was that they checked us into someone elses room by accident so when we arrived we let ourselves into someone elses room . The room was a different room type and had someone elses stuff in it. Cleaner walked in and seemed suprised we were in there. we told reception and they gave us the correct room, they didnt seem to bothered even though to me it seemed like a security issue. I dont know if they told the person whose room it was that we had been in it.

That made me feel a uncomcortable in terms of safety and security.

Apart from that hotel was beautifull, food was average, we wanted to go to the roof top bar but we needed to have booked it (noone told us).

Id still probably go back but make a point of the security issue in the future. thanks.

A large, modern and welcoming hotel by the beautiful seafront of Sitges. There is a feeling of space in the lobby and the public areas are well-styled and softened with modern art and plants. The bar and restaurant both offer relaxation overlooking the sea. The staff were pleasant, welcoming and helpful.

The room was comfortable and clean with beautiful views from the terrace (I had a room on the 6th floor directly overlooking the sea). I would say the corridors are a bit more basic-looking than the public areas and lobby, but that wasn’t a problem.

The spa was closed during my stay (November). It doesn’t state this on some booking sites, so just be aware out of season.

Also, it isn’t very clear what all the various room types are. I booked a 37m2 room on Hotels, although the same room type on the hotel website seemed to be 27m2. It’s something to do with the way each higher floor is set back from the one beneath.

The breakfast was very good, if a little pricey at 35 quid per day. There was excellent choice though and the quality was great. There aren’t any cafes immediately outside, except for at the next hotel up when turning right out of the hotel.

The pleasant and inspiring walk into town along the promenade is really lovely, flat, and takes about 20 minutes. For me, this was a real highlight. The museums are really good and interesting, as well as the old town.

Overall, I had a really enjoyable 2 night stay and I would definitely return.

Every day that we exited or entered the property, they would greet us with a smile and offer to help with any of our needs. I look forward to seeing them and visiting ME SITGES Terramar again soon.

Our stay was fine, nice area, however, the amenities were not available during our stay, we had issues with breakfast almost every morning and some of the staff were not the nicest, also there were weddings happening every single night here, one night the entire hotel smelled completely of cigarette smoke which was not great, the pool area was nice though and it is a short walking distance to the town center with local bus options right out front.

No one ever helped us with our luggage, the bellboy was busy chatting with his colleagues. The window of the balcony was in terrible conditions, almost impossible to open. Coffee is the worst quality. Breakfast was ok but we were expecting better quality, sometimes it’s better less quantity and focus on the quality. Overall, it’s not worthy to spend almost 400 euros with this accommodation. Everything feels cheap.

Where to start. NOT a 5-star hotel. Highest: 4-Star. Arrived on Friday to be informed that there was no dry-cleaning or laundry available over weekends and holidays (as they send it all out to a third party). Asked for extra hangers for 2-connecting rooms — and eventually they said “no more” — but when asked at front desk, apparently they had extra for others, but not us (guess we reached our quota). They eventually were able to shut off the overhead LED lights in our connecting corridor (so the doors could be left open at night). Extra bath towels were provided (when asked for), but I saw only one wash cloth during my entire 10-day stay. The HDMI wall connection in one of the rooms did not work. The TV’s are fixed to the wall, some at odd angles — and do not swivel. The water pressure in the hand-held shower head needs to be increased (new beaded hoses?). Oh, and neither of the telephone handsets worked properly — had to use speaker-phone (and that was spotty). So, definitely not a 5-star hotel.

Poor Service for a 5*

I was looking forward to this stay having been to Sitges every year with family and decided to stay at this hotel as opposed to our usual on avenue Sofia. The reviews were excellent and therefore I had no apprehensions however we did not have the best experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and has great amenities, the bed was very comfortable and the room was lovely. What let this hotel down was the staff and service. Having stayed at 5* all over the world the attitude of the staff here fell far below expectations. At check in there was no friendly exchange and we were asked to make a secondary payment of €100 a night which was not an authorisation but a payment in addition to the cost of the stay, I accept there is often a deposit taken but this seemed excessive and the lady was adamant it was a hold even though I showed her the money had gone. Further the added amenities which are usually included at a 5* were all requiring further payment, which we could get over but not the attitude of the staff. They did not exchange pleasantries when you saw them around the hotel and when asking a question they merely gestured or were dismissive in their response. Not alot of effort was made to speak to us in English even though we attempted to speak in Spanish too.Lastly, we could see that some guests received a better service who were spanish and perhaps regulars, as their sun-beds were saved in advance of their arrival and catered to around the pool more often.
Would not return.

The stay was pleasant until we got stuck in the lift at 1am one night for 45 minutes. My partner takes medication for anxiety and this triggered several panic attacks the next day. While they tried to compensate with free dinner and breakfast, it spoilt the trip and my partner is still not fully recovered.

Stayed with my family. Got two rooms (one for wife and I) and one from my two teenagers. The hotel was perfect. Right across from the beach where they had beach chairs and a little restaurant. We also bought drinks and food by the pool which was fine. The hotel was very nicely decorated and stylish. We also ate dinner there one night outside which was great. I would stay there again

We really enjoyed our stay ME. The hotel itself was fairly good, what made our stay WONDERFUL were the staff. Laura, Danny, Ana, Jose and Leo. There was one tall gentleman that was all over the place and took care of every request with a smile. Unfortunately, I don't recall his name and I can't find my notes. He was the Superman in my book. I did leave him a \"Thank you Note\".

I stayed there with my wife and a toddler. It had excellent service, clean rooms, and a fantastic pool. The restaurant onsite has excellent food. The center was about a 30-minute walk, which was perfect for keeping the hustle and bustle of the center. The little train that goes up and down the coast is ideal when you need to go to the center.

The only problem was that to tip the staff you needed to carry cash all the time or they wouldn’t get it and seeing that you are signing to the room it can be unlikely that you will have it. I hope their wages are good

We had a great stay at the ME Sitges Terramar. Hôtel is beautiful, rooms are spacious, and employees are all polite and friendly. The bar on the rooftop has amazing cocktails (thank you Raquel!) and appetizers, and the view is stunning! The breakfast buffet is nice with lots of options. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Hotel in excellent condition. Beautiful views of the ocean from your balcony room in a very large room (for Europe standards ) with comfortable bathroom. Bed was excellent.

Location is a little away from
City center so it’s a 20-25 minute scenic walk along the beaches to get into town.

On arrival we were asked to pay a £100 per night holding fee in advance, in case we used additional facilities or the mini bar. We explained we would not be using these and we were surprised at the amount as it equated to £400! For our party, as a family we had booked seperately 3 rooms, it was £1300! (It may well be in the small print) however it does make you feel like you are not trusted. The Receptionist was patronising and rude when we queried this and I quote said, \"you do not understand! Is it you can't pay or you wont!\". Her tone was loud and beyond rude. I will add, I remained polite but was astounded at her response to my query. It spoilt what was to be the start of a special break for a 60th birthday. We then felt uneasy during our stay. I fully understood but find the policy very surprising. If you stay for 14 nights that would be £1400 up front as a holding deposit. This seems a bit extreme and unnecessary. Rather than being in the small print, if this is to remain a policy of the hotel it should be clearly explicit when booking!!!

Great clean place with an awesome staff.. Needed a bigger menu and not too many options in walking distance for other places to eat.

The AC never came back on after sitting on the balcony the first night.. I traced it to a poor push button connection where the patio door closes.. so we made sure we wiggled the push button prior to closing the door.. thankfully my 25 years in troubleshooting electronics kicked in.

We loved our three night stay. As you may expect for a mid-February stay, things were on the quiet side. And while not every single facility was open and available, the hotel felt far from being in closed-season hibernation. The restaurant was excellent and the beachfront bar was vibrant and cool, with live lounge sounds as a backdrop to the passing world of the promenade just in front.

Our room was fantastic and, like the rest of the hotel, super clean. It’s also the first hotel I’ve ever been able to ‘smell’ on approach. Subtle, fresh, bright an inviting.

I have often been wary of visiting resort locations in the depths of close season. But Sitges was amazing and I am now a convert. Your hotel choice in such circumstances is a critical factor and we couldn’t have enjoyed our stay more, largely because of this hotel and its really rather lovely vibe.

When you book on Expedia you always get the crappy rated rooms. Our room had a great view but that was it. Right above the front entrance so very noisy. The shower and bath layout was terrible, there’s no privacy at all. It’s quite a ways from downtown and getting transportation is an issue.

Our second visit to this wonderful hotel in Sitges. We love staying here. The rooms are lovely. Our room was described as 'Partial Sea View' but we had a full view of the sea and the entire town on Sitges. The view alone was amazing.
Very comfortable room. Great bathroom. Two free bottles of water a day and every evening, a member of staff comes around to give guests a free chocolate!

The breakfast buffer was wonderful. The staff were all so warm and friendly.
Be sure to try the Ting Ting tourist 'train' that stops outside the hotel and takes you up and down the beautiful Sitges promenade.
Thank you so much to the amazing staff at the ME Sitges Terramar.
We will be back again next year!

The guys who work on the doors/luggage/car parking were always really friendly and helpful!

Check in was chaotic, always seemed busy. Hard sell of trying to upgrade the room (wanted to charge the same as we paid for the 4 night stay again for a room with a bathtub). Also wasn’t happy that you have to pay €100 per NIGHT as a deposit. Luckily we weren’t staying for a few weeks because I have never ever had that much taken as a deposit. Ridiculous really.

Room was stunning, spacious, clean and comfortable. Bed was one of the best beds I’ve ever stayed in. Good touch to be able to connect a mobile device to the tv to stream Netflix/Disney etc.

Pool area wasn’t the best. Old beds, poorly organised, expensive drinks and food and poor quality. Not enough beds in relation to the hotel size, and on our last day we were told there were no beds left and to go onto a waiting list. We were then forced to sit on the terrace and to order food and drinks while we waited for some beds. There were cabanas available abs also beach beds but we were told that there would be an additional cost.

One of the nights we were unable to use the roof terrace as it was a 90€ event only which we were unwilling to pay.

Overall the rooms were stunning, but the service and facilities need a lot of work. The hotel is also a 30/40 minute walk to the centre of Sitges. There is a constant up-sell whereby it feels uncomfortable in the end. Wouldn’t stay here again, and wouldn’t recommend.

It was lovely, very friendly staff. Unfortunately, once it gets busy it is difficult to enjoy the restaurant and bar areas since they are open to the public and guests are not given priority in those zones. They have a wonderful chiringuito but the same problem. However, in general , it is a wonderful place!

Good except for Breakfast...

The hotel was beautiful. But it didn't feel so 5-star. When we checked in we had to wait for over 10 minutes before someone greeted us. The stafff overall doesn't make the experience feels like you stay at a 5-star hotel.

Location is 20 mins walk to Sitges center and 30 mins walk from train station so it's not close to town by any mean but it's in a very quite area. So we enjoyed that.

The breakfast was absolutely terrrible. I would avoid at all costs.

The pool staff wasn't friendly and didn't offer us any towels.

This hotel is one of our favorites, the beach is gorgeous and staff are friendly. However, they are a bit understaffed and the communication between main hotel and the beach bar is pretty bad and results in all kinds of \"rules\" that are applied randomly it seems. The price dies not match the quality of the experience

Staff were friendly and welcoming. David, the bar manager was exceptional as were most of the staff we engaged with. Rooms were awesome and pool area was large with great ocean views. Restaurant and roof top bar is closed on some days but we didn’t find this an inconvenience. The town of Sitges is a 20min brisk walk, 30min casual stroll or 5min $7 taxi ride. We liked that the resort was away from town.

The hotel is super nice, sparkling clean and very modern. I spent most of the time between the pool area and the beach club.
The food is also out of this world.

The only thing to improve would be that the staff should tell you about all the amenities (I was not told there was a rooftop nor a gym available).

Not COVID ready Avoid it’s very disappointing

We had problem after problem with this hotel.
We thought this hotel would be the destination and not simply a place to stay.
We chose this hotel for its reassurance during COVID but they were far from ready
Check in. I requested to send documents and passports in advance to minimise contact with staff. However check in took 20 mins and passports were handled & then paper forms requested
Entered the room and showered and the room flooded with the cheap finishings of the room. Very ikea type look.
We reported this to reception on route to the swimming pool. Sun loungers were not 2 meters apart as per pre check in and the pool life guard squeeze loungers within cm with no social distancing. He also did not have face mask like cleaners or staff outside the reception area.
After no luck with reception we contacted hotels.com to request intervention to this. We got in touch with the general manager who changed our room.
We came in and initially it was fine. Popped for a bite to eat & came back to find a dog sleeping on our bed. We requested a room clean because of COVID potentiality travelling on pets.
We came back in the early hours to find the cleaners had interpreted that as that off the duvet cover the dog has sat on and leave the exposed duvet there. We realised this in the morning.
I went to have a coffee. No capsules & coffee cups removed.
Water was not replaced. I went to breakfast and that was at a timed slot. Massage service was poor. We checked out early

I thought the property was absolutely gorgeous!
We walked to town everyday, about 40 min walk. Beautiful!!!
