The location is nice, right next to the beach and great restaurants. We stayed for one week. The trash is located on the corner of the next block and there is no parking. We received two parking tickets before realizing there is free parking next to the trash bins. They don’t replace towels, toilet paper or sheets and there is no washing machine on site. Reception in at a different apartment building and the pool was too dirty to use with leaves.

Checking in at 16h and checking out 10h might be a bit tight if you are only staying for a night. Checking in is done at a totally different place over 1km away. Otherwise it’s a very nice convenient place close to beach and city centre.

The place where you have to pick up the keys is too far from the property and there is no one actually at the property at any time if things go wrong, and no phone in the room to contact them either. Air-con was broken... there was no info or welcome thing in the room. The room itself was nice, modern and well furnished - however the lights come on with a sensor in the ceiling which is REALLY annoying since the sensor can see the bed, you have to have the door shut so you can;t sleep from the warmth or from the light turning on all night. I would not stay her for bear week either as it is far too far from the beaches and bars.

You can’t polish a turd.

First impressions are good. Instead of the outdated pine and patterned 80s furniture that once adorned the Apollo, you are greeted with a grey modern suite.

But be warned. This is all where the sparkles ends.

Just like the old Apollo I feel this place will decline in its appearance very quick.

To begin with, these automatic light sensors are the most frustrating thing ever, great for popping to the loo in the middle of the night. But really irritating when they switch themselves off when you’re having a shower, and have to jump out and wave your arms in the air to activate the lights.

My main gripe with Apollo is the lack of service. To begin with you have to traipse to the other side of Sitches to pick up your key card. In today’s day and age, surely you could be sent a code for the door or even a mobile phone app.

That is where the service you get, ends, at reception when you check-in.

You are given a list of rules like a prison entry form. This includes information that you will be given one roll of toilet paper for your stay. (I think prisoners get more than one roll of toilet paper!)

Given that reception is so far away, You are told that you can call them, however the room does not have a telephone so you would have to ring them on the mobile at costly international rates.I tried emailing them as you have free Wi-Fi, but they don’t respond. They should definitely get an app, for communication and door entry.

Very clean spacious apartment, nice balcony good amenities clean pool.
Glad I read the other reviews about picking up the keys from the Sunway golf hotel which saved me a lot of time. Rather than getting a taxi to the Apollo the check in staff at the golf hotel recommended I get the little tourist train outside from stop 8 to 12 which was close to the apartment for a couple of euros, that was a great tip. The apartment had lots of light plus black out curtains and spacious balcony perfect for breakfasts and sunset suppers. The place is dated and reminded me of being in Spain as a kid in the 80’s but although old fashioned was spotlessly clean. The beds were ok I’ve slept in worse. The kitchen equipment was extensive and had everything you could possibly need and more. There were only four sun loungers so first come first served but it was quiet while I was there anyway. I went in September so it was cool enough to sleep without air con or a fan but I wouldn’t stay here in the height of summer as I’m not good at sleeping if it’s too hot. All in all a really lovely space to stay. I stayed in worse places for the same money.

Nice appartments about 8 minutes walk to the centre of Sitges. Very quiet, relaxing and near beach. Lovely spacious balconies that all get the sun in the evening and overlooking a nice pool area. A little dated re decor but didn’t expect 5 star luxury for the ridiculously low price we paid (Great value for money).
On the bad side - 20 minute walk to a sister hotel to check in is a complete ordeal when your lugging cases around. (This needs to be rectified). Lacks finishing touches like a kettle and shower fixture is incredibly low. Very easy to keep clean but towels should be changed every few days.
Would I stay again? Definitely for the amazing price and location. Just needs a few tweaks and I’d easily give 4 out of 5!

All we needed for our stay in Sitges

Once we had picked up the key from Sunway Golf which is 2km from Sunway Apollo Apartments it was ok
We found this easy but it could be a problem for people with children.
The apartment was basic but had everything we needed for a great holiday.
It was clean tidy and comfortable also handy for the centre of Sitges well placed for bars and restaurants.

We lasted 20 minutes

After the palaver of getting the keys which others have already commented on (seriously what is that all about?), and then getting to the apartment, which was ready a bit earlier than 4pm to be fair, we were so disappointed.
We don't mind basic, but clean is a must and this was not. The place stunk of cooking, everything felt greasy or sticky and then I discovered the cleaner had kindly left us one of the prevois occupant's socks! Obviously not very thorough. The bed frames were too big for the mattresses so a bit of ply had been nailed across the frame to hold the mattress. Don't get me started on the bed linen. The bathroom was not much better with a shower that had a nozzle the size of a £2 coin. I didn't bother to check if it worked.
We didn't even unpack, we just went straght out and found another hotel and left the keys in the handy letterbox. At least we didn't have to schlep all the way back to where we'd picked them up. Avoid!

A walk to everything

We were fairly pleased with our stay. You get a lot of space and a kitchen!!! You are so close to the beach and downtown. We didn't read the directions in the email confirmation that said \"go to this other hotel to check in\" so that delayed the start of our trip in Sitges. It feels very private which is nice and cheaper than other options.

Upgraded to Tara(w A/C) at no extra charge!

We originally booked at Apollo, but when we checked in at Sunway Hotel, the very nice lady at front desk, asked if Air conditioning was important. When I said yes, she told me that Apollo didn't, however the the one that did was Tara, it was however an extra 2 blocks away from beach so location wise Apollo was better. I told her 2 blocks was OK, and even though it was an upgraded apartment, her manager, waived the extra fee for us. That was great service. The apartment was great size, had all the amenities and pool with AC. I would stay here again the next trip and choose Tara...the 2 extra blocks was nothing in a great neighborhood.

I was very happy with my stay. Nice location, very clean with good facilities. My suggestion would be to ensure people are aware they need to pick up the keys on outskirts of town in order to get in. I would also suggest to enable wifi connection in the place.

Warning about check-in!

Check-in was at a hotel 20 minutes away from the apartment (40 minute round trip!). Hotel staff insisted they worked closely with Expedia to ensure it was prominently displayed on the itinerary, and when I proved that it wasn't there, they blamed Expedia and didn't apologise. Other than that, it was a good value room for the money, and thev15 minute walk to town along the waterfront was really nice making this distance not seem so bad at all.

You pay for what you get

The apartment was basic but matched the money I paid for it. The accomdation would defiantly benefit from some type of air conditioning or even a fan! There was no WIFI network anywhere on the premises, although the code was advertised on the grounds. To get the keys I had to walk around 20 minutes to a hotel to collect the key, not ideal in the midday heat and a bag to carry. On the plus side the apartment is very well located to the town and beach.

Worst staff ever!

They will ask you to check in miles away from where you will stay. and I can't believe the reception staff treat guest like \"why you are troubling me?\"
When i checked in in the mid-night, i did everything the reception guy asked me to do except he try to write down my credit card number, expiry date and security numbers to \"ensure you are not broke anything in the room\", and can't answer how will they protect my credit card information and refused me to stay even i've asked to put money as deposit instead of having my credit card information. at the same time they claim that not their fault and refused to refund the money i've payed in advance.
Be care of this hotel insist to have your full credit card information and they even have your passport copies. you'll never know what gonna happen to your card afterward.

Check in is painful, having to check in miles away, in a different hotel, (Sunway Golf) after 1700. When we arrived there, there was a long que, and only one receptionist, checking in people for all the different Sunway complexes. The apartment is old and very basic, but clean, and well maintained. Only two small hand towels were provided, but the housekeeper begrudgingly provided two bath towels for us. Apartment was not cleaned at all for the entire stay, wifi password was posted beside the entrance, but did not work. Only one toilet roll provided, and the housekeeper rudely refused when i asked for another. Nice pool area, but no chairs or furniture provided, so not a pleasant area to sit. i would not recommend any of the Sunway apartments for a short stay, due to the late check in times, and distance from the main reception. The apartment we had, was one bedroom, with twin beds, and two single sofa beds, so spacious, and quiet, but do not pay a high price.

There are apartments in all the three level's building but I and my friends stayed on the number 00 which is right next to the swimming pool. I strongly recommend this apartment on the ground floor. The ones above since to lack of the freedom which we had. Staff speaks no English but we could manage with our little Spanish and we got everything we needed such as free password for wifi and information about the local area. 1 min walk from the gay beach and others. Friendly hotel. All equipped, very clean and well lit. Swimming pool is available until 21h30. Excellent. We had a perfect stay.

We had to walk quite far to actually check in as we were not informed in advance that we had to go to the main reception area first which was at the other end of town. The location of the apartment however was excellent, 1 min walk from the beach. There was no AC or ceeling fan in the flat which made sleeping a bit difficult. Kitchen fully equipped and bathroom was of good standard. Pool just outside the apartment which was unoccupied most of the time.

No toilet rolls but flys galore

Terrible. Is that enough? No toilet roll or decent plumbing or staff who are helpfull. Did get extra fly killer they had tons of that. however the flies have evolved to be immune to it. When you get the shower to work it leaks all over the bedroom and when you inform the \"porter\" she gets the mop out for you. Oh yes dont go there to check in , you have to then travel a mile away to a hotel to check in would be ok if they tell you this first.

somewhat basic, but clean & spacious

Sitges is a very nice place with a mix of old town charm and modern bars and restaurants and a 30 min bus or train ride away from Barcelona. The apartments are well situated 1 street back from the prom & about 15 mins walk from the centre of the town. A real bonus was the free bike hire. The apartments were a little difficult to locate and going to the Playa Golf Hotel to get keys was a nuisance. Other than that very good value for money and we would go again at this time of year (early May - 21 - 24 deg's)

A great holiday

My husband and I had a great stay at this hotel. We were warned that it could be noisy, but we experienced that only on the saturday night when some youths were going to the city (and returning...). All the other nights the apparment building was quiet silent so we were not disturbed by other people. Its location is great! Just 200 meters to the beach! And Sitges is a wonderful destination! We enjoyed the simple apartment very much!

Very clean, but also very basic. A smalll kitchen with everything you need but no luxuries like a kettle or toaster. The pool is clean, with a nice lawn area, but no sunbeds. The apartments are great for a economy get away, but be aware that the walls are thin so if you unlucky enough to have noisy neighbours you will be disturbed. The bed is clean but not particularly comfortable due to basic mattress. There is plenty of wardrobe + drawer space. A few hundred yards from the beach, 10 mins from town, 15 mins to nearest super market and train station. You will need to collect your keys from Sunway Golf Hotel, and are able to access all facilities in this hotel as a sunway customer. I would definitely recommend for a good economy holiday in a lovely town like Sitges.

Gets even less expensive if you can get creative on the sleeping arrangements.

If you just need super basic sleeping arrangements with a kitchen... Then you're ok. If you expect anything other or more than that.... You'll be very disappointed.

Séjour toujours agréable

Séjour comme chaque année dans cette résidence, malgré des tarifs qui augmentent de plus en plus chaque fois, obligeant à réduire le nombre de jours du séjour.
La résidence est toujours sympa, au calme, tout en étant pas loin du centre et de la plage. Les signes d'usure commence à apparaître (porte d'entrée difficile à fermer, traces d'humidité dans la salle de bain) mais globalement c'est toujours un séjour agréable, même pour quelques jours.

Ok, only if you find it with a good price offer.

It is a nice tourist apartment complex, close to the beach and approximately one kilometer from the center of Sitges, quite far from basic supplement stores.

Nice pool.

But, check-in is about 25 minutes walking from the apartment. There are no staff in the building.
If you call by phone, only a recorder will answer you.

There is no hand soap in the bathroom and just a roll of toilet paper.
The shower gel located on the wall was empty.
Part of the door frames, damaged with moisture.
The bed for the third person was not prepared.
The terrace table had no chairs.

These details are easy to improve and would make the stay much more pleasant.

Wir hatten Mitte Mai hier einen tollen Urlaub. Unser Appartement war sauber, es gab keine Ameisen oder anderen Tiere, wir hatten aufgrund der Diebstahlshinweise in anderen Bewertungen unsere Wertsachen immer bei uns. Unseren Mietwagen haben wir allerdings nicht in der Straße vor den Appartments geparkt da hier öfter (auch während unserem Aufenthalt) Autoscheiben eingeschlagen wurden. Die Entfernung zum Meer war top (ca. 100m). Unter der Woche selbst in den Pfingstferien herrlich leer, am Wochenende ist es dann schon voller da auch die Spanier selbst ans Meer gehen. Sitges ist eine tolle Stadt mit vielen guten Lokalitäten. Für jeden Geschmack (Italienisch, Japanisch, Döner, Burger, Vegan, Fisch,…) ist was zum Essen zu finden. Die Strandpromenade ist lang und lädt zum abendlichen Spazieren ein. Wir sind mit den Kindern jeden Abend zum Essen in die Stadt und zurück gelaufen.

The apartment was great and in a pretty good location. Yhe only hickup was that the keys had to be picked from the large hotel at the very end of Sitges beach, which was not ideal as we arrived with a baby, stroller and luggage expecting a short walk to the apartment. Then we had to split up so that one of us could take a 45 min walk to pick up the apartment key a d come back.

Vi bodde11 nätter och är nöjda överlag. Dock finns saker att förbättra. Städning och nya handdukar är för sällan. Automatiskt ljus som tänds på natten om man går upp är irriterande. Nära stranden men långt till närmsta affär. Bra med gratis cyklar. Borde dock bokats vid incheckning så man slapp gå tillbaka till incheckningshitellet 1,4 km bort.

Toujours très bien !

Nous séjournons dans cette résidence tous les ans depuis qu'elle a été rénovée. Les prestations sont de qualité, à 10 min à pied du centre de Sitges et à 2 pas de la plage.
Les tarifs ont bien augmentés entre 2020 et 2021 : à voir ce que ca sera en 2022 !

Una y no más

La localización es aceptable, a 15 minutos andando al centro y 20 min. de la estación de tren, la playa está cerca pero, el check in hay que hacerlo en un hotel que está a 35 min andando de la estación y a 15 minutos de los apartamentos, si vais en tren añadid, por lo menos, 20 euros más para coger un taxi que os lleve al hotel, espere a que hagáis el check in, y los lleve al apartamento. No esperéis que se den más prisa porque tenéis un taxi esperando, os dirán que ya lo ponía en la reserva.
El checkout es a las 10 am y son muy estrictos, pedimos poder dejar el apartamento más tarde y nos dijeron que no era posible porque tenían todo lleno al día siguiente (nosotros vimos varios apartamentos vacios). La única solución que nos dieron era quedarnos en la piscina pero no nos fue posible porque los únicos aseos que hay estaban bloqueados por una máquina de vending que tapaba la puerta.
No tienen consigna ni sitio donde dejar las maletas (en realidad, no tienen a nadie atendiendo el apartamento, todo ldesde el hotel), te dicen que si quieres las puedes dejar en el hotel, pero si pedís acceso a un aseo o un baño para poder disfrutar de la playa el día que volvéis os dirán que no es posible.
En general son poco hospitalarios y nada agradables en el trato. Si vais para el fin de semana el domingo estaréis con las maletas en la calle a las 10

POSITIVO: la piscina, renovación del apartamento.
NEGATIVO: Falta de papel wc, sin jabón de manos, de camino a la piscina las limpiadoras lanzaron el agua sucia desde la planta donde estaban hacia casi cerca de mi , no hay socorrista, falta de privacidad en la zona cocina no habia cortinas ni nada.

A notre arrivee appartement très propre par contre en 1 semaine de vacances dans cet établissement pas une seule fois les femmes de menage sont venu pour nettoyer l'appartement ni changer les draps ni les serviettes . Dans les wc il y avait un seul rouleau de papier toilette pour 4 personnes et pas une seule fois on nous a fourni d'autres rouleaux . Si nous n'avions pas croiser les femmes de menage pour reclamer des serviette de toilettes propre nous aurions été obliger de faire toute la semaine avec les mêmes. Ce qui fut le cas pour les draps qui n'ont eux jamais été changer

Résidence agréable mais...

Client depuis plusieurs années des résidences Sunway à Sitges, la résidence Appollo, récemment rénovée, présente des prestations supérieures aux autres résidences (ça se voit aussi clairement dans les tarifs). Elle est agréable, moderne et confortable, même si on commence déjà à constater quelques dégradations (peut être aussi dues à un séjour en fin de saison - poignées de porte cassée, traces d'humidité au plafond...).
L'emplacement de la résidence est parfait (à 15 min à pieds du centre, à 2 min de la plage).
Nous reviendrons dans cette résidence si les tarifs restent raisonnables (ils semblent avoir tendance à s'envoler).

Bel appartement moderne à proximité du centre

La résidence et l’appartement est vraiment bien, appartement moderne, belle cuisine qui manque d’équipement. Concernant le chek in dommage que la réception pour récupérer les clés soient dans un hôtel éloigné.
J ai connu un disfonctionnement des cartes d’accès en pleine nuit m’ayant obligé à retourner à la réception de l’hôtel, heureusement que le personnel est sympathique pour résoudre le problème.

Muy bueno

Apartamento muy bien ubicado cerca del paseo marítimo y del centro. Recién Reformados con todas las comodidades, colchones muy cómodos y todo muy limpio, tienen piscina. Lo recomiendo tanto para familia con niños o para amigos.

L'appartement est neuf et la terrasse possède une belle vue. Appartement très agréable dans l'ensemble mais il faut sans cesse se déplacer vers la cellule de mouvements pour remettre en route l'électricité et la lumière ce qui rend le séjour pénible.

Les appartements de la résidence Apolo ont été refaits à neuf et présentent tout les standards du confort attendu d'appartements modernes. La décoration est soignée et l'appartement bien équipé (climatisation éclairage indirect, douche à l'italienne, literie confortable, pièces spacieuses, ...). Tous les appartements donnent sur la piscine aux dimensions généreuses très agréables. Pour moi, deux points seraient à améliorer : repousser le checkout de 10 heures (bien trop tôt pour un hôtel appartement de 3 étoiles) au moins à 11 heures. Mais vous pouvez négocier un départ à la condition de vous rendre au lobbies de l'hôtel Sunway Gofl situé tout au bout de la promenade soit 25 bonnes minutes de marche .... Courage pour vous y rendre notamment avec vos bagages. Mais gardez à l'esprit que vous avez la possibilité de disposer d'un vélo gratuitement pendant votre séjour, une emprunte bancaire de 60 euros suffit à l'opération.
D'autres part, après votre checkout, rien n'est prévu sur place à la résidence afin de laisser vos bagages pour profiter de Sitges jusqu'à la dernière minute. La seule solution et d'apporter les bagages au Sunway Golf tout au bout de la promenade ... Bon courage ! Je trouve ce point totalement incohérent par rapport à la catégorie de cette hôtellerie. Je conseille sans détour à cette société de remédier à ce point qui pour moi est assez rédibitoire ... Au final, j'ai passé un très bon séjour !! Hôtel à conseiller !

Apollo wordt verbouwd, wij zijn doorgestuurd naar Amapola. Niet zo dichtbij het strand als Apollo. Amapola is een jaar geleden gerenoveerd, toch gehorig (alles is van tegels) en geen wifi in het appartement. Valt op dat geen enkele accommodatie van Sunway wifi in het appartement heeft, is niet meer van deze tijd. Schoonmaak is 1 keer geweest in 15 dagen. Ik heb zelf 2 keer om schone hand- baddoeken gevraagd.

appartement très bien placé. Acceuil très compréhensif quand à nos demandes. Personnel des chambres bien….juste besoin d'un rafraichissement comme dans les autres appart de la même chaine...ou alors d'un peu plus d'entretien et de ménage.
