We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were very polite and welcoming throughout our visit. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location, and for the price we paid, we really couldn’t complain.

There was always plenty of hot water for showers, even for two people, which was great. However, one frustrating issue we experienced was with the room keys. They frequently deactivated, and after coming back in the evenings, we often had to walk up all the stairs only to find the key wouldn’t work—then wait for someone to let us in. We did make sure to keep the keys separate from everything else to avoid this, but it didn’t seem to help.

Despite that, it’s a fabulous hotel overall, and I would definitely stay here again—though next time I’d probably book a room in the main Romantic hotel building.

I loved the charming period hotel with lots of details. The location could not be better. The breakfast was outstanding, especially with the outdoor garden area.

Be aware that this is a couple of historical houses and not everything is in one building. There are no elevators and the friendly staff is not always available to help with luggage.

The wi-fi was terrible. Slow and spotty at best, and there are very few outlets, and no power strips. But I really disliked the DATA HARVESTING to get into the wi-fi. There's no need for DOB, gender, etc. just to get into wi-fi.

Only one key for 2 people told only one available but when I offered deposit 2nd key appeared as if by magic
On the return of the 2nd key was told nothing in the system to say deposit paid!!! So no money could be returned
I can only find 2 explanations
1. The guy I paid 30 euros to must have kept it?
2.the person on reception (rather full of her own importance) was hoping I would leave key then she could collect my 30 euros?
I eagerly await an explanation
My WARNING to other guests make sure you get a receipt as fortunately I did
Cleaners very noisy in the mornings
The last night noise from bar just down the road music and most customers out in the street shouting did not not stop until 03.25
So avoid a room facing the street

Whilst we loved the age and charm of the hotel, having to walk to a neighbouring property for breakfast was not ideal. Only because the streets of Sitges are filthy! Dog mess, vomit and urine everywhere. Put one off eating. A very good selection of things to eat at the breakfast buffet. But I would suggest the hotel stops serving hot food - as you get it in a cold room (probably perfect in Summer) on very cold plates. Pointless. Further note - the photo's on the web description are decidedly out of date/not of the same hotel. As we checked out, I mentioned all of the above to the receptionist - who just told me to 'put it in writing'. So - here you go! Did I like it for the price - only just. Would I stay again - no.

Very outdated property. There was ants on the walls in the bedrooms which I was not happy about. Other than the good location of the property, I would not recommend it to friends and family. However, staff was good during check in.

Not bad, but could have been better

Beautiful hotel.
But for some reason check-in takes place in the neighboring building.
The room is excellent, clean, towels were changed every day.
But you can hear everything that happens in the hall, because of this it is impossible to sleep in the morning.
My reservation included breakfast, but it was not provided. Probably breakfast was served in the neighboring hotel, but I am not ready to get up in the morning and go to the neighboring building

It's a lovely hotel with very grand rooms .... The staff were very friendly and the rooms were cleaned daily.
I wouldn't want to stay in my particular room again (room 1) as it was right next to the main entrance to the hotel and wuite noisy withvthe door opening and closing constantly and all the people coming and going. But I would stay at the hotel again.

This hotel has a major problem it’s thé insonorisation,I could hear the conversation of the people next to me.One night I wanted to listen to the news on TV,the reception called me to say that I was making a lot of noise.I felt like in a prison, very small room and very high prices

Decor is rather eccentric and fascinating, but I had room one next to the main entrance and it is Quite noisy with people coming in and out all through the night, Also, the window blinds did not shut properly so it’s not terribly private at night, but I have to say it is very good value for money and Alex on reception was really nice man

The hotel has much character and charm and is located very close to the main attractions in Sitges, and it is 7 minutes Walk from the beach. It is also very close to the main transport links to Barcelona. The train, bus and taxi service are at the end of the street with a great cafe and supermarket. It’s clean, it’s quiet and the staff were very helpful

Great location in Sitges!! The hotel had a shared reception area that was down the street. It felt a bit detached from the main hotel with all the amenities- Hotel Medium Romantic!! If someone had been in the reception area and there was a small breakfast, it would have been better !!

Overall, my experience at the hotel was positive. The personnel were kind and helpful, which added to the pleasant atmosphere. The cleanliness of the facilities was good, and the location, situated not far from both the sea and the city center, was convenient. However, the thin walls were a downside, as I could hear the occupants of the adjacent room talking and even snoring, which affected my sleep quality. Despite this issue, I would still consider it a good choice for accommodation.

This is an old building but the rooms are renovated and everything is new and clean. But what I liked most is how pleasant and helpful the staff have been at all times. Check in and out times are great plus the staff will do all they can to let you in if you arrive early. The location is perfect.

Shabby side of shabby chic. A grand old building in the centre of town. Reception at its sister hotel around the corner was fine. We had a nice terrace from our ground floor room and there's a roof terrace on the 3rd level which was very underused.

This was one of three hotels I stayed in on my recent spanish trip which took in 4 nights in Sitges for Carnival. This one was really the hotel annexe, no reception or bar or any facilities as such. You check in and out at the hotel at the top of the street. This was a quaint old fashioned spanish hotel and I liked it. The bathroom could do with a bit of updating but I always had loads of hot water and it was clean. I stayed in a room on the second floor, at the back of the hotel and my room was quiet. My bed was enormous. I stayed myself. My friend was in a room at the front of the hotel. Bit noisy during carnival time I believe!!!! There is no lift so thank goodness I wasn't on the third floor! The location was perfect. Exit the railway station and Calle de Cuba is almost directly opposite. Nice coffee shop on the corner. Would I stay again, yes. If I got a great price, which I did this time round.

I like this hotel, one of the older ones in Sitges, although the sound travels and it can be noisy. The bathrooms could be updated and dispense with the plunge baths and change for modern walk in showers. Love the old style furniture and proximity to station and town centre

WiFi poor, walls very thin and ‘everything’ could be heard in the next room and stairwell, no lift so certainly not suitable for elderly guests or people with mobility issues.

I have stayed here several times and at their sister hotel, the Romantic. Room (212) was pretty small for 2 of us. Housekeeping is top notch and the hotel is immaculately clean. Our check in at Sitges Park was much less friendly and courteous than previous experiences at Romantic. Sitges Park staff were aloof and not welcoming at all.

Hotel has changed quite a lot over the years.

First went to Sitges about 25 years ago and have been most years since. Stayed here the first time we went. This is the first time we have been back to this hotel and strangely ended up in the very same room as the first time. Now has air conditioning. Although a few years ago taken over by new management and has had some refurbishment, the rooms are tired and quite basic. Some might say it is part of the charm of such a period property but the general comfort of the rooms could be improved whilst keeping the charm! Had a small fridge, kettle and two cups and saucers but no spoons! This is an annexe to the main Hotel Romantic across the street where the breakfasts are served. Had a small balcony but tired looking and with a dingy view of the backs of properties. Overlooks a garden but with no bar open no one bothers to use it. The main hotel has a nice bar and garden but it was virtually empty (also empty in July when we went to have drink there whilst staying in an apartment close by). The cleaners and receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The bed was okay but the pillows weren't that great and I ended up putting a folded up blanket under my pillow for comfort. Although this must have been obvious to the cleaners I was never offered another pillow but in fairness I didn't ask either. Personally, I wouldn't rush to stay there again.

Beautiful building right in the heart of town with breakfast and facilities at the adjacent Romantic. The room is a little bit tired, for example the bath is rusty. The worst point is the noise from the street where at least six vans unload bottles and kegs all morning. OK if you get up early.

Very traditional hotel, high ceilings, antique furniture, a lovely little courtyard. Although there was no real aircon, the room was very cool and well appointed. Mini fridge, lots of storage. Would certainly return.

Simple traditionaly funished ensuite room sister building to Hotel Romantic where you check in and out off and go for breakfast. Arrived early but room wasn’t ready but allowed to leave bags till later and sane on departure. Staff very pleasant and helpful even the housekeeping staff cheerful and pleasant. Great location nr station and centre of town. Stayed here and at Romantic many times and would happily do again.

Bring ear-plugs and a good humour.

The hotel was perfectly located and the decor agreeable. However, the sound-insulation between the rooms was almost non-existent. The paper-thin walls meant that you heard every word of the guests in the ajoining rooms and their respective televisions! We checked into the hotel late afternoon/early evening (mid-week) and were given a cold, almost unfriendly welcome by the staff.

Great location in a beautiful old building. Front desk is around the corner which is only a hassle if a key doesn't work or luggage issues. Room was remarkably quiet for Sitges and A/C was great! Lovely housekeeping ladies who work around everyone sleeping in late. It's clean with no frills. Good wifi.

The hotel itself was ok for the money. Checking in and collection of keys from the main hotel only seconds around the corner. Only breakfast from the main hotel too but not a problem.

The street the hotel is situated in can get noisy when it's bed time but with two bars that's not surprising. All in all though, I would say it's ok.

Room has private bathroom/shower and TV. Air Con and kettle. Rooms are kept clean and staff are pleasant. Would stay here again...

The hotel is down a small side street about 3 minutes from the train station....very handy.Its a sister hotel and just rooms at the moment to the Medium Sitges down the street at the bottom ..literally two mins away where you check in.They have a nice bar area outside and pool and I don't think its an issue using their facilities.The Portuguese Lady who checked us in was very efficient and spoke excellent English.They were very helpful in advising on the local area and restaurants etc.The hotel itself is very old style what you would class as colonial - big tall ceilings marble floor and old antique furniture.Its very characterful actually.The rooms are comfortable and clean and surprisingly you cant hear much of whats going on in the street as its pretty well insulated.That said you can hear a lot of room movement and entry by the doors etc as its quite echoey.Its not really a big problem but just to be wraned on that.The area around the hotel is beautiful Sitges - about 7/8 mins from the promenade and theres loads of lovely little nooks and crannies - side streets etc.For the price its a good deal.But its a room only and you eat your beakfast at the sister hotel.

Beautiful villa with many original features, incredible ceilings and light fittings and original art work. Really hope the new owners keep these along with the even more exceptional hotel Romantic's art work and period furniture and that any work focuses on restoration as much as modernisation.
Great staff and good breakfast but the bedroom walls are the thinnest I have ever experienced in a hotel. I could hear every word of my neighbours conversation! Wifi had to be reset regularly through a weird connection via Google and presently there is a building site at the back of the hotel which is in it's early stages of work. Obviously not the hotel's fault but very noisy!

It's a nice hotel, with clean rooms, hot water and some room comforts such as a fridge, tea making facilities, TV and air conditioning. The staff are friendly and gave us a lot of helpful information about traveling in the area. The hotel is in a great area, really close to the beach, restaurants/night life and train station but is still quiet to get to sleep at night time.

The only problem we had was when the hotel is quiet the Wifi works on the top floors but as soon as more guests arrive it didn't work properly, so we no Wifi on the 2nd floor.
