The room was not what I expected. There was no chairs to sit in. They have kettles available but you have to ask the front desk. Good luck with the WiFi on the 3rd floor which was non-existent. The staff and water pressure were probably the best things about the Hotel,

Fabulous location facing the marina and next to the naturist beach. Our room was a studio with ensuite created from opaque glass shower area. Clean room, huge bed with fridge and kettle supplied on request. Staff friendly. Buffet style breakfast with wide choice served but no other meals available. 20 min walk to station. Great location for a more rekaxing visit to Barcelona and environs.

There's an air conditioner in the bedroom and in the main area they barely work. Had issues with staff and regards to the booking. The general area is extremely expensive. Parking the vehicle for 24 hours costs approximately $45 Canadian. Driving was mentioned as one of the available items to do but it's not available. Champagne or sparkling wine supposed to be given with the stay and it was not. The hotel is fairly old and definitely needs upgrades. The shower sprays all over the place and the handle was broken. I could go on but you get the point

Exquisite hotel. Hotel staff went above and beyond even providing beach towels and umbrella for our stay. Pool was relaxing and standard size for lap swimming in the mornings. AC was wonderful, bed sheets and pillows soft, small fridge, and finally a hotel that appreciates nice towels. The port has a walkable strip to cute restaurants, next to the fabulous beach, we loved it. A must stay.

As a gold member of Expedia, I should get free breakfast and parking credits. I don’t even talk about room upgrade since it is very subject to availability.

But when I checked in I was not recognised as a value Expedia gold member. The front desk staff said only room was booked and I had to pay the breakfast and parking. Parking is very expensive (€25 per day) and managed by a third party company which is extremely chaotic.

The front desk staff was quite impatient when I was trying to argue with him about free breakfast and parking credits. He also told me to contact Expedia to re-confirm about this. I was travelling with my daughter so I had no choice but to check it without all these benefits that I should have. Do NOT book this hotel unless you really want to go to the beach. It is absolutely a ripped off hotel.

The property has the basics. Fridge in room is a “cooler”, no tea/coffee making facilities, not even a cup or spoon. Building and rooms clean but outside needs a paint and tidy up, sauna no longer in action, breakfast not available. Great location if you are simply going out, pool also good.

A Good Sitges Option

We had a lovely nights stay here. We were able to check in early as our room was ready. The staff were friendly. The room was a little dated but perfectly fine. The location is great. Right on the harbour and only a 10 minute walk into town along a pretty coastal path. The pool was large and clean and the breakfast plentiful.

The agent at the counter was very brisk in communication. I asked about the possibility and price of the parking that were mentioned at the time of the booking but he gave me no explanation, no confirmation. We paid more then was agreed beforehand.

This property needs a serious update, we spent two nights in one room that had no TV reception, the hairdryer did not work, the attachment on the bath was broken so you could only use the shower. Fortunately we were able to move to a better room. However each morning during our stay we were woken up at 8am on the dot by workers digging the pavement up right outside our room.
No bar area or water available at the hotel, ultra basic for the price charged.

The place was pretty basic and not that in terms of cleanliness, etc. What I didn’t like is I booked supposedly a Harborview which I didn’t really get. It was a side view and you kinda had a stretch your neck out to see it and when I questioned the receptionist about it, he told me I had of the harbor. I found the receptionist kind of cold otherwise for the rest of the day it was OK but the room was very basic not even a chair inside because it was just too small. Breakfast was also kind of basic and the scrambled eggs were definitely not eggs. I didn’t buy reckless with the booking and so I paid every morning because there was nothing else really around that I knew so overall it’s three star rating. I think it’s fair.

A pleasant stay in a large apartment - especially considering everything in Sitges was fully booked.

The air conditioning was just sufficient (but at least it didn’t get too cold in the night) loud but not powerful.

A quiet part of Sitges - a 15-20 minute walk from the town centre.

A cot and a bucket would be better than this

There are hundreds of hotels in Sitges. DO NOT stay in this one. I think they only offer rooms to offset the cost of operations for the club members but it is apparent upfront that you are an annoyance. The room is so basic that there are no plugs, the A/C was last given maintenance in 1990 maybe?, and it seems like an overpriced hostal. Front Desk (Albert) is useless.

Stayed for three nights. Housekeeping never came to clean the room until very late during the day. Left the room at about 9:00am left the sign to clean but never got it cleaned until we returned about 4:00pm. By then we already in the room when they later knocked the room.

I was in a room with a view to the marina.
It was clean, but very basic for a 4* hotel. Furniture and bath tub a bit worn.
No coffee maker / kettle / tea that you usually find in 4* hotels.
Most annoyingly, there was just one wall socket in the room, and that’s where the fridge was plugged. So you have to choose between having cold drinks or charging your gadgets. There was another socket in the bathroom.
Since this is a beach town, inevitably you will bring in traces of sand on your shoes, regardless of how careful you are. You’d expect the cleaning staff to sweep the floor, at least every other day; they didn’t.

Since I am a gold member, I was supposed to get a free bottle of sparkling wine for my stay. I asked the staff on 2 occasions about this and they promissed they would get it sorted; which they didn’t. Not bothered about a bottle of cheap wine, but it’s a matter of principle. Don’t promise something and then refuse to honour it.

Hotel is in great location close to the beach and great restaurants along the Port. Has a nice pool. Service was good and the people are kind and attentive.

I do question the rating of the hotel (at 4 stars). Also recieved none of the promised VIP amenities, so am not sure if I would stay here again. Bookers need to know that toilet and bedroom are all one room - so dont be surprised when you see it

Second time I’ve stayed here, first had a kitchen and so this time didn’t take travel kettle. Arrived at room and apart from the weird set up which I’ll come on to there was not tea or coffee making facilities. Asked twice to be sorted 3rd time got told no sorry can’t be provided. Now on to the rooms- yes I know boutique hotels are all about the glass shower room now but normally that encloses the toilet too and the glass is frosted fully to provide some privacy. Not here, toilet open to the whole room behind the shower. Why they couldn’t have enclosed it all is beyond me. You can’t buy drinks around the pool and they ask you not to take any but everyone ignores it.

Now as for breakfast if you advertise it until a certain time then ensure it’s fully stocked until closing. We are not talking a 5 minute rush before closing we are talking 30-45 minutes before and hardly any cooked breakfast - that is pretty poor! Maybe spend less time doing the fancy fruit displays as looks like you must bin most and concentrate on providing and refilling the other food.

If you won’t provide kettles in the room it’s really not too much to ask to have the breakfast room open most of the day so you can get your own coffee.

Last year great and really helpful - this year gets a thumbs down and won’t be back

The location of the hotel was awesome!
However the quality of the rooms was not good:
The air conditioner in our suite wasn’t that strong.
when we checked in the bed sheet on one of the beds had stain on it and when we asked for a clean one we got one with hole on it.
The staff were really nice and helpful and tried their best to help in spite of language barrier.

There was a bad smell of some sort of sewage in the hall way of the hotel however towards the end of our stay either the smell was gone or we got used to it.

Overall we are satisfied however according to the other family who stayed at the same hotel with us at the same time there were more issues.

Great pool and the rooms were clean but the furniture needs an update. The day front desk manager was very helpful and friendly! The hotel is on a long stretch with many upscale restaurants in a quieter area than the city center. San Sebastia Beach is a 12 minute walk and all of the major shops/boutiques are 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Bizarre, depressing, 2 star at best

This is a very substandard and strange hotel, and definitely no where approaching 4-star class.

First- the young man who checked us in couldn’t have been any LESS welcoming. No please, no thank you, no smile- infact his demeanour is best described as contemptuous to being inconvenienced by customers. Seriously- this young man needs training or to get a job he doesn’t clearly hate).

Second- the ‘en-suite’ bathroom is infact a toilet and shower behind a piece of transparent glass with no door- so if you stay here hopefully you’re comfortable with watching and hearing your partner on the toilet. Totally bizarre. This is not disclosed in the room description.

Third- two members of staff walked into my room at 9:30am without knocking and despite a ‘do not disturb’ sign on the door. They were holding a coffee like they’d decided to come to take their break in our room. Due to the ‘bathroom’ being completely exposed they got to see me shaving half naked while my partner was taking a shower. Totally outrageous invasion of privacy. Their response when it happened: to laugh!

Fourth - our harbour view was in fact a view of a tree and four other balconies looking directly into our room. Absolutely no privacy so we kept the curtains permanently closed.

Everything about this place is cheap, faded and depressing. The management have clearly given up. There is no pride. It’s VERY sad. I would barely call in 2-star let alone 4-stars.

The hotel room we had was not 4* as advertised.
Breakfast does not cater for Vegans. Luckily the surrounding restaurants were accommodating.
Our room needed refreshing and decorating.
Evening receptionist was not very accommodating but the morning staff were very helpful. Was able to explain our concerns and grievances when checking out and was welcomed by the staff receptionist.
If they made the changes and updated the rooms would definitely book again.

Our room, 101, has amazing views of the marina, the beach, and Sitges. It's one of only two units with those amazing views. The housekeeping staff also kept it very clean.

However, WiFi signal is only present, and very weak, in a 5\"x5\" corner in the bathroom. There was no signal anywhere else in the unit. We reported it to the manager and the reception person, but they didn't even seem to care. The problem is that the last WiFi repeater is about 50 meters from the room (you can see them on the hallways), too far from it. This drove us to pay for international data on our phones, which made our stay more expensive in the end.

It's too bad that one of their two best rooms in the entire property has no wifi, and that the management doesn't even seem to care.

Shocking Stay in Sitges!

Terrible! The kitchenette contained virtually no equipment. Had to use a saucepan as there was no salad bowl. No strainer, so I could not cook pasta. No microwave. No sharp knife to chop anything! No upgrade despite Gold status with Hotels.com. The room STANK of cigarettes and it became worse when air conditioning was turned on! TV in lounge room did not work - was not repaired despite a complaint to the manager. Had to sit sideways on the toilet as bad design meant you could not sit facing the basin! Never again!!!

I was looking forward to relaxing but left more exhausted than I arrived. We booked an apartment for 3 people as we wanted space so it’s a shame there were only 2 glasses, 2 chairs at the dining table etc.
The kitchen was less than basic - no microwave, no washing up liquid or scourer even though the sign said you have to do your own washing up), no drying up cloth, no sharp knife, no chopping board.
Currently there is no breakfast available and the jacuzzi is out of action.
The noise travels through the thin walls from your neighbours in all directions - when you neighbours move a chair, go to the bathroom or just talk to each other you will know all about it.
On top of that I agree with the other reviews that mention the tired decor and in need of an update.
The staff were friendly and it was clean but not somewhere relaxing to spend a holiday.

All the peace and solitude your body craves.

The good bits: super clean, stunning location and views, away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown core. Super quiet and tranquil, I slept better than I had in years. Linen and towels super clean and fresh. Water pressure fantastic.

The not so good bits: aircon at best “mild”, stovetop kettle slow and cooking facilities sparse. However; I’m willing to overlook all the not so good bits for how much I enjoyed my stay.

Yes, the place has a 1980s conference centre aesthetic, but I liked it all the more for that. If the price is right, go for it, the views and vibe alone are worth it. It’s a little 20 minute (hilly) walk into town. But, with such stunning views, what’s not to like!

Perfect location and amazing views

We chose this hotel as it is right next to our friend's boat marina. The pool was very good and the rooms spacious and with great views.

The shower was a decent power shower and the bed was very comfortable. We had a one-bedroom apartment with decent sized fridge and adequate kitchen (not that we used it for cooking, but it was in a lounge with decent size settee and balcony.

Definitely worth visiting as very close to the marina, 2 lovely beaches and lots of restaurants and bars. Sitges town centre is just a short walk away with access other larger beaches too.

We stayed here when the hotel was \"officially\" closed because of the covid situation - they were happy to take guests, but with no staff there. Toni, the guy who one would call in need, was excellent. But the general response from the management was appalling.

My son and I had to stay there as a matter of urgency - so we were grateful for the accommodation.

We stayed there for four weeks. And in all that time, not once were the sheets changed and the room cleaned. We were not told this would be the case when booking. So cleaning, towels, and linen fell to us.

Sometimes we were the only ones there. So in a way it can be forgiven that the pool and sauna were not available. Apart from that, and the appalling WIFI, the hotel looks a bit tired in the rooms.

Situated right on the docks, next to a beach, a ten minute walk away from the amazing old town of Sitges.... location wise is was lovely.

But be aware that parking outside the hotel is extortionate. Toni showed us a residential road behind the hotel where we could park. But, bear in mind that when the world goes back to normal, it will be almost impossible to use this, owing to it being a popular parking area for people visiting the beach.

Port Sitges is an interesting little place with lots of posh, expensive, pretentious, portside restaurants, with awful food. However, the rich and famous of Barcelona love the place. Lionel Messi was there one day at the table next to us. So we will let you be the judge of that.

Disappointing for the price we paid compared to the other hotels in the area. The beds were VERY uncomfortable and cheap (cheap pillows and mattresses) where we felt like we were sleeping in a motel. Location is not ideal as it is far from the area where everything is happening. Also, if you have a stroller with you, forget about walking from the station as there are stairs on your way to the hotel that are pretty nasty and unavoidable unless you take a cab. Finally, the staff was friendly but there wasn't much they could do for us as the hotel didn't have much to offer (just felt like an airbnb to be honest).

Overall, I do not recommend it.

Clean, simple, slightly dated rooms. Very long and institutional corridors. I was reminder of a hospital or retirement center. A longish walk to town, but the area is good if you don’t want to do much and stay away from the crowds. Reception were kind.

Very spacious rooms and loads of storage. Great sized pool and not too busy despite it being high season. The sun loungers could do with being replaced though (most were cracked). Based on other reviews, we packed washing up liquid, dishcloths and tea towels plus a chopping board. This meant we were able to cook most of our evening meals in the kitchenette.

Beautiful view of harbor and water! If you want to be able to walk to the beach and old town but have peace and quiet this is ideal. Our only issue was with the kitchenette. Don’t plan on actually being able to cook a meal or even coffee as it is not equipped for more than heating water! One of the two burners was broken and we let them know but nothing happened. I had been looking forward to having coffee in the morning on my deck but there was no coffee maker and we ended up buying filters and my husband would hold the filter and I poured the hot water. There were no plates so we used bowls for serving everything.
I enjoyed the pool as I am a lap swimmer.

The rooms were large, plenty of hot water
The WIfi SUCKED - it was great in lobby but who wants to sit in lobby late at night - none in our room so they moved us (had to repack and move) then in morning told us we would have to move again because it was a bigger room - I complained staff said they would deal with it without moving us again and they did - Wifi worked a little compared to none but it kept dropping and Movistar mobile ia the mobile in the area and it sucks too

Hotel more suited to couples wanting a quiet loc

Hotel is perfect location for couples or people who want a decent hotel in a quiet location.You need to walk up and down a number of streets to get here from town which if you have a bad back like myself, isn't always great.Lovely pool and hotel room./apartment very clean. Bed for a few of us were extremely hard and pillows very soft.Some great restaurants by the marina ,mostly fish as you would expect by location. Weirdly the coffee/breakfast area appears shut down which i a shame as be good to have a drink by the hotel rather than walk 5-10 minutes to the nearest small cafe/bar. Staff very helpful and cannot be faulted. Personally I will stay more in town as prefer the vibrancy of the town, bars , cafes etc.

2 star hotel at best

Avoid this hotel as it is not good value for money. Everything is outdated, extremely uncomfortable bed and furniture. The pool looked really dirty, it’s photos online are very deceiving. Kitchen has no chopping knives or boards, no large glasses. It’s soulless and far too far away from the town of Sitges to make it worth staying there. My room had no blackout curtains.

Good hotel, quiet marina position with nice pool.

Great position overlooking marina. Good pool (no shallow end)! Breakfast good with hot choice. Room clean & comfortable but china/cutlery needed prewashing! Good quality eateries nearby and pleasant walk into Sitges town. Beware, parking expensive in port area. Staff advised free choice elsewhere (a few minutes walk away). Good views of beaches & church in central Sitges on nice walk in round the bay (there are some steps!). No bar/café in hotel for drinks.

If you're just passing through, this is not the hotel for you. It's deep into a private drive where parking is 20 euro a night through the hotel! (Apparently a discount from what it is otherwise) We requested a double bed and received two twin beds put together. They were hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise, the room was clean, had a view of the harbor, kitchenette, nice bathroom, and it is close to a long stretch of stores and restaurans and bars right by the marina. It would have been ok if the parking for the hotel was included in the rate for a lower amount. When I asked about the parking, I was told we could park outside the gate for free, and walk the long stretch. We checked in at 1am driving from Granada and our luggage was heavy. There is a Hotel out by the free parking called Hotel Estrella I believe.

Dated but Nice Hotel in Sitges

The hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient to the port. Taxis were easy to get to downtown. The interior was dated and the breakfast was bountiful but not impressive. We would stay again though!

Relaxed bluss

We can’t praise this hotel enough. From the initial welcome to leaving the staff were so accommodating and pleasant. The old style is very relaxing and the room was spotless. The shower and lounge facilities in the room were fantastic. The views were spectacular. Sitges is a gorgeous seaside town. So pretty and vibrant in a uniquely calm and relaxed way. We were there for a conference in The Melià, which was a short walk away. Around the corner was a lovely strip of harbour side cafes, restaurants and bars. The beaches are clean and “relaxed” in their own way 😎. We know we’ll be back to Sitges and we know we’ll be back to Hotel Port Sitges.
