This hotel is very clean and comfortable with large ocean view rooms and a beautiful restaurant. Great staff. It's an older hotel and could use a bit of a facelift with some of the finishes but for the price we paid, it was a great place to stay. Just around the corner from the boat harbor, and a 10 min walk to the old town area. We loved this place.

The service people are very friendly.
It's an interesting hotel filled with art. I was disappointed that there is no hot water kettle or coffee available in the suite. The couch is hard and not comfortable . There is no TV in the bedroom and only one bedside table. The hot tub is actually a garden tub with jets. We arrived at 6pm after a long drive and there was no food available in the hotel until 8:00pm.

Generally a very pleasant stay - the hotel is very close to one beach and short walk to others. 25 mins walk to town and there’s a bus right outside the hotel . The staff at reception are excellent. The rooms are similar to most hotels and generally well decorated. The baths are very tiny! Breakfasts were good. Very poor that there are no kettles/coffee/tea in rooms in a 4 star. Far too much plastic around - cups in bathroom, champagne glasses etc - all plastic and wrapped in more plastic!! . a decent hotel should provide glass - much nicer to use and most sustainable. Parking charge at 30€ per day is a rip off!!

Big room, pretty clean, great location right on the beach and next to the port where you can rent a boat and do jetskiing. lt is a bit of a walk into town and the bus isn’t very frequent though. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful particularly Robert.

The main issue is that the property is old and there is absolutely no soundproofing between rooms. We were kept awake by the people above us running around and screaming until the early hours of the morning, which we could hear even through earplugs. Robert on reception was very helpful though and we got to switch rooms, however be warned if you are a light sleeper that none of them are particularly soundproof and you can hear everything from the room above and next door. The rooms are also pretty dated and could use refurbishing, especially the ones with the pool view.

I loved this hotel!! I felt very safe and comfortable as a solo traveler. Miguel at the front desk was friendly and accommodating.

Great location on the north side of Sitges so it gets you away from the crowds and noise, but still within easy walk. Beautiful beach front ocean views. Lots of artwork. AC is not as cold as we like and could use an update.

The property was listed as a 4-star hotel and although the reviews were good, that was not our experience. Firstly, there are steep steps to access the hotel which is challenging with multiple suitcases. They’ve no visible doorman, bellman or employees other than a receptionist. Secondly, we were given a room that was 10 steps above the 3rd floor. Since the elevator only goes to floor 3, we had to carry luggage up more stairs. Next, the room had 2 small wall A/C units which were not adequate for the suite we were in so the room would not cool down. It was extremely hot and even with the blackout curtains pulled, it was very uncomfortable. It defeats the purpose of paying for a sea view room when we can’t open the curtains. While we were waiting for our room, we had the breakfast buffet which consisted of cold scrambled eggs, sliced ham, toast, fruit and coffee dispensed from a machine. The breakfast was $32 and was nowhere near 4-star quality. We did finally get a new room about 10pm which was cooler, but we left the next morning foregoing the second night we’d paid for. The location is nice and the yacht club was fun, but the experience at the hotel was about 3 stars at best.

I don’t know where to start. I love art. I have my BFA and have been involved with all kinds of art. Both in NYC and Los Angeles. I have been to shows, galleries and museums all over the world. Not only does what was on “display” in my room puzzle me it worries me that someone with the wear with all to run a hotel as nice as this hotel could be would decorate my room the way they did. I was in New York during the crack epidemic and or room looked like the visualization, poorly executed, of the fever dream of a crack head in the throes of withdrawal. And I don’t mean to insult the addict.

I kid you not there is a glob of paint that looks like an actual smear of fecal material.

A Winter Escape

The hotel reception area has a wonderful water feature with a panoramic glass lift. There are several art pieces making the area quite interesting.

The Dining room had a great atmosphere, service and food were good although the items on the menu were not to our taste (being English).

Breakfast was good, but don't expect a full English cooked breakfast. The food was plentiful and good quality.

The Delux rooms have great views (we were on the 3rd floor). The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed. However, they are getting a little tired with the odd chips in the bathroom and wardrobe doors which don't run properly. Look beyond these minor details and the rooms are very comfortable.

The hotel is a little off the track. There is a bus stop opposite (L3 route) which goes to the railway station. In winter there is plenty on on-street parking and two disabled bays outside the hotel. I imagine parking in summer will be an issue.

The hotel is next to the marina (Port de Sitges) where there are several resturants, most open around 8pm and generally serve some great fish dishes.

Each room has locally inspired artwork, giving a very different feel to other local ‘corporate’ hotels like the bland Melia and Port Sitges. A 30 min walk into the town and main beaches is an attractive port and promenade stroll, but there’s a small beach opposite the hotel
that’s ideal for families.

The hotel sits right on a popular beach on one side and the marina on the other. It has a lovely marble entrance with water feature framing the staircase with “art” pieces displayed everywhere which makes it very unique. When we arrived mid morning, understandably our room wasn’t ready, but we were provided with pool towels and were able to make use of the pool area, bar and store our bags while we waited a few hours.

We had a “design” room with balcony which was quite large with a huge fridge. The decor was OK if not unique. The bed was comfy and the balcony was large with a clear view of the sea. The room however lacked amenities - there’s no tea or coffee facilities which is unusual for a 4 star hotel and the bathroom was very dated. The shower pressure was AMAZING however due to the design of it, we pretty much flooded the bathroom floor every time we used it!

The pool area isn’t very large and the sunbeds are limited. The tiles around the pool are a literal death trap when you exit the pool as they become very slippery!

The customer service from the staff was fantastic - we were granted late checkout for a discounted price and when my toothbrush charger became stuck in the wall outlet someone came and was able to remove it with no problem.

The hotel is about a 20 min walk into the centre of with quite a lot of steps which could be a challenge in the heat.

Overall I had a lovely stay and would recommend, but I would stay closer to town next time.

The only downfall is the outdated aircondition that doesn't always work and the shower too. My friend and I both enjoyed our stay and we loved loved Sitges.

This was our third trip in 4 years to this hotel, it has a fantastic location next to the marina and a nice beach, the views from the Balcony are great and the restaurant/ breakfast are excellent- on the downside the rooms are VERY tired, we stayed in the same suite each time and the same problems with the room 4 years ago were still there -window didnt fit so the wind whistles through the frame, glass screen on the shower had a gap- flooding the bathroom every time it was used, canopy above the balcony wouldn’t extend…furniture was old and tired… I like this hotel and (most of) the staff are warm and friendly… but it desperately needs some money spending on the bedrooms- we love Sitges so will be back in the future, but will stay at the much nicer DOLCE hotel next time (Same price as the Estela)

Restaurant service was terrible - waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged & seated, then ordered soup that came with a shredded piece of notebook paper.

A nice hotel in a lovely quiet location

Definitely a business hotel rather than one aimed at holiday makers but non the less a lovely unique hotel. We stayed Sunday to Wednesday and because there were hardly any other holiday makers we had the pool area to ourselves 95% of the time. The view from our balcony of the beach was amazing (albeit over a car park). Beach was great and very quiet. Situated next to the marina with lots of restaurants but the main town was a 20 min walk away via a coastal path - With lots of bars to stop in along the way. We liked being out of the main town as we got the best of both worlds and some exvercise but this may not be for everyone.

Downsides:
The staff were very polite although not overally helpful. The breakfast was good but not much hot food. The hotel did look a little tired in parts. No pool bar during the week (the upside was that we bought our own from the local shop and saved a fortune).

I would recommend this hotel for a peaceful stay just outside the resort centre.

We have stayed here many times and have always really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is in a great location just a stone's throw from Sitges quietest beach and the beautiful marina with a great selection of fantastic restaurants and cocktail bars. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated and the food is also fantastic. The staff are friendly, polite and helpful. On our last stay we were able to check on early even though we arrived before midday. I am returning this Saturday 20th October for the half term week with my family and we are all looking forward to another relaxing stay.

Great hotel and great location next to the beach and marina in a quiet part of Sitges a 30 minute walk from the main town. The thing that lets this hotel down is a very nearby noisy nightclub which appears to openThursday - Saturday. At 4/5am when revellers leave they congregate waiting for taxi’s, lifts in the car park next to the hotel. This last for hours and the noise is very loud it feels like the club is right under your window. Such a shame as it’s out of the hotels control and would make me think twice about returning.

We were given room 101,but my husband wasn't happy with the terrace there was no view except for people at the pool bar looking into your room. We upgraded to a luxury room at our expense, but was glad we did, with views to the port, didn't understand the art but it was ok, huge sitting room, containing a fridge, a free safe and was kept very clean. Air conditioning was to die for, and we needed it. Buffet breakfast something for everyone. The beach is just across the road, with sunbeds and a beach bar, safe swimming and kept very clean. There is a swimming pool but is quite small. Restaurants are just a short walk dotted along the port, prices were slightly expensive and it seemed quite upmarket with Porshe cars going past being the norm. A 15 minute walk takes you to the main part of Sitges, now I've read reviews that complain about the walk, i,m the most unfit person and it wasn't a problem, the coast view does have steps so unsuitable for push chairs etc, it does take you along a shingle path if your not happy with this you could always take the road way. the path takes you past the nude beach, church and to San Sebastian beach, here are the start of the restaurants carry on past the cathedral and into the main centre plenty of restaurants and bars, follow the cobble streets leading to various shops, cafes and eateries. There are 1.5 miles of beaches all kept very clean.

The hotel is modern and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well maintained, although the electrical points often didn't work. The pool bar was shut for two days while we were there and trying to get a drink seemed difficult. Staff were reluctant to get drinks for guests, which was puzzling.

This is a wonderful hotel located very close to the beach. You are surrounded by artwork in the halls, rooms, lobby - almost like staying overnight at a museum/gallery that has bedrooms in it. Very pleasant.

Unfortunately, the rooms were not the most comfortable. One of our two rooms was updated. The other was not and it smelled bad so we had to switch to an updated room. The hotel pool had broken down so when we inquired staff arranged passes to a nearby hotel.

On our second day, we woke up with jackhammers breaking down pool tiles early in the morning. The jackhammer continued all day, ruining the beach experience as well.

At the checkout the following day, we had to go to back to our room and bring 2 beach towels back to the lobby. I guess the woman at the lobby wanted to make sure made sure we weren't stealing them.

It is a great hotel and a unique experience but we won't be staying there next time.

The hotel itself was very clean & the art was brilliant. However, I feel this hotel is better suited for either a long weekend, corporate stay or an event. We stayed for a week & felt the walk into town was far too much there & back every day. The pool area was clean & modern but very small & the pool bar was closed. The marina behind the hotel was lovely but a bit quiet for us to use every night. The last few nights spoilt it for us as there was 2 weddings on & many of the guests were shouting until earlier hours in reception which could be heard even on our floor (top floor). When we asked the hotel team to quieten them down they simply replied they will be gone in a minute (which was a lie). Wouldn't return, would stay a little closer in, beaches were lovely though!

This hotel appears to be stuck in a bit of a time warp - while the rooms were spacious clean, the OTT focus on being a \"gallery hotel\" feels heavy-handed with random mismatched art scattered everywhere! Our room was designed by a pop artist who I had never heard of and resulted in about 25 variously coloured Audrey Hepburn faces staring me down when I woke up each morning, 2 cut-out clouds on the ceiling, some badly-painted palm trees on the (now defunct and disconnected) kitchen doors and a framed paint-splattered t-shirt outside the bathroom. Check-in and even borrowing of towels were paper-based and felt slow and rather antiquated.
Negatives aside, staff were pleasant and the outdoor area and tiered pool were lovely and the hotel is in a quiet area adjacent to the marina. We did not eat in the hotel so cannot comment on this. Couple of things to note if you do stay here, it is a hefty 20/25-minute walk into town. The route has great views over the various beaches but my fiance and I are 29/30 and keen runners and it knackered us every time! I ran the route one morning and only then realised quite how hilly it is! There is also only 1 shop nearby for water/snacks so it is worth picking these up while in the centre as the 1 shop at the Marina is very expensive!

Stayed for 3 lovely days. Could not find fault with anything. Good location near with beach over the road. Our room looked over the marina and lots of restaurants to choose from there. Quiet hotel at night. Nice pool area and not too busy. Pleasant walk to Sitges along the coastal path. Rooms were comfortable and in good decoration and clean. Breakfast had variety. Staff on reception were very friendly and helpful. Lots of art all over the hotel and wonderful lobby with water feature and glass lift.

Very good stay but a bit far out if traveling from the main town. Expect a 25 minute walk or approx €10 cab fair which can increase the holiday budget. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice large rooms. Reception area filled with art and sculptures which add a boutique taste to the place.

Great Hotel

We stayed here before and liked it very much. The rooms are very comfortable and clean also it has a nice pool area. There is a restaurant which looks very nice although we never dined there.

The hotel is situated about a 15-20 minute walk from town centre. It is situated in the Port with a great selection of restaurants. Th e beach is directly across from the hotel if you prefer this to the pool.

I would recommend this hotel for adults although there were 2 children there I think apart from the pool there would not be much entertainment for them plus the hotel is full of beautiful sculptures and works of art maybe not the best place for kids .

My overall rating of this hotel is favourable and I will definitely return.

Ps.I left belongings at Hotel and the reception staff were terrific and sent them back to me within 2 days.

Did not eat at the restaurant so can't comment. 2 minutes walk to the beach.

Ehh, Ok I guess.

Stayed here during our honeymoon in Spain. Majority of other people staying here seemed to be businessmen. The location is about a 10 min from the main Sitges area but this was no problem for us. Staff was pretty good, although they seemed to spend more time chatting with other staff than being attentive to guest concerns.

The real issues for me were the condition of the room, which did have a nice balcony view of the ocean, but that was it. The pillows were really uncomfortable misshapen pieces of foam, the faucet leaked and at night there was a balcony light that went on, making us keep the curtains closed and AC on, instead of leaving the window open for fresh sea air. The layout of the room was strange, the bed was pushed up against a lightswitch so any movement at night would turn the light on. The fact that there was a kitchenette inside was kind of silly given there were no plates or utensils. There was peeling paint and some bad repair jobs in various places in the room. It wasn't terrible, but not great. Certainly not worth the money we paid.

We stayed in the hotel for one night only and wish we had booked some extra time there. The rooms were very spacious, comfortable and clean. The sole staff member that we had dealings with was lovely and helpful at all times. The hotel grounds, pool area etc were beautifully maintained. My only gripe, and a minor one at that, was that the hotel do not allow housekeeping to lend irons out to guests as many other hotels do. We needed shirts ironed that night and could not make use of the ironing service as it was a one night stay. Overall beautiful hotel.
