We loved this hotel! The room was large, very clean, and had everything we needed. The staff were so polite and helpful. The restaurant is excellent. The neighborhood is very quiet. The hotel is a block and a half from the Riem rail station, walkable in a few minutes. Trains run regularly and it is only 15 minutes to Marienplatz. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone considering a stay!

Octoberfest stay
We recently stayed at the Prinzeregent for 4 nights for the Octoberfest in 2 suites. After 4 days the best compliment I can provide is we have booked again for next year. The location is a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the s line and a further 20 mins to the city centre. The rooms are quiet, the breakfast excellent with plenty of choice. The bar offers a good selection but sometimes have a little patience if they are bust and the honesty bar a nice touch if you are late back . The staff are friendly and approachable. Highly recommended.

This hotel is located in a peaceful place called Riemer Strasse. The nearest S-Bahn station is Riem, walkable from the hotel. The bus stops are next to the hotel. One can catch 180 and 190 to reach desired locations. As far as the room is concerned, I got a spacious one with twin bed. It also had two bedside tables, one big computer table, one computer chair, one large sofa, one small sofa/seating tool, one TV, and one tea/coffee set. The bathroom was spacious as well. I also opted for breakfast service. It was delicious and unlimited. They offer a wide variety of fresh food items and it runs from 7-10 am in the morning. During weekends, they extend the breakfast service to 11 am. If one wants to stay in a calm place, away from central part of the Munich city, then this place is worth giving a shot. The parking service seems also seamless. Thumbs up for a short stay.

The staff were very courteous, the restaurant patio was lovely and relaxing, the breakfast buffet was excellent with the best choice of tea I’ve ever seen in a hotel, and the shower was one of the better ones I’ve ever had. And although initially there were no tea or coffee-making facilities in the room, once I asked at the front desk, they gave me a kettle and a whole tray of goodies. It was also very easy to get into Old Town Munich via the train.

Could have been awesome but .....
When we booked this hotel there was a spa advertised with an amazing sauna. The hotel was priced higher than alternatives but we booked here based on the sauna. We were not informed in advance but upon asking found out they have water damage and the spa/sauna is now closed. Very sad as I feel like we wasted money and also wasted our time - we would have booked elsewhere. Also, although the reception staff enthusiastically showed us a map of how to take public transport he was dismissive of our inquiry for their electric vehicle charger - we ended up driving to the local mall to charge our rental car. Overall a wasted day and we didn't even have time to visit Munich city due to the car charging issue.

We went to see Adeke so for location it was great we walked there in about 10 mins easily found and very close to shopping centre too. However if you wanted to visit munich city it’s a few train stops away. Not the prettiest of areas but safe.

A very impressive display of choices, all freshly made and delicious. The coffee machine was so high-tech, which comes with a touch-screen, providing multiple selections of high-quality coffee. (Gotta try out the cappuccino!) The indoor and outdoor dining areas were beautiful, and the service was superb.
There's also a small playground situated across the yard with a slide, two swings, and a rope ladder. It was the perfect cup of tea for my kids while daddy and mommy sat around enjoying our true cup of tea. LOL. Yes, the tea selection was extraordinary as well, certainly serving not the usual teabags, they were genuine tea leaves. Just by looking at the row of labeled canisters on the shelf itself is exciting enough already. Brewing tea with a strainer inside a mug makes me so happy.
My husband and I couldn't stop talking about our experience at the hotel. It was truly one of the highlights of our travel that we will never forget. We will choose to stay again if we ever get to visit Munich in the future.

I like the location of the hotel, on a side street in a very charming small neighborhood away from everything. Despite its size, it has all of the amenities. I like the interior design of the hotel and the very friendly and helpful staff. The room was lovely.. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and a delicious breakfast was included.. I would be very happy to stay here on any future trips to Munich.

While the lobby of this hotel was undergoing construction and finding the right place to check in at reception was confusing and a bit frustrating when we arrived, our room was absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to stay a second night. It’s my understanding that the lobby construction will be completed by August 24, 2018 so that will make registration much more simple. The rooms we’re remodeled in 2017, I believe, and the wood floors, beautiful furniture, drapes, and wonderful colors ofthe fabrics chosen for the rooms make for a comfortable, cozy stay. The bathroom in our room was a fairly nice size but the shower was one of those corner showers and I always prefer a bathtub with a shower. Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing a remodel with substantial construction in progress.
The Junior Suite despite it stating ‘sleeps 4’, only sleeps two adults and two little children.
