Exceptional staff. Great location. But not because there is no competition in the area, there still remains a huge window for upgrades to the overall ambience to the bathrooms and corridors. It feels 20 years old, not modern. Corridors have poor lighting and room doors have to be slammed to close properly. The amazing staff and location makes up for this but I think it could be better for the Holiday Inn brand. Breakfast was a notch above continental. Maybe hot chocolate can be included in the 24hr coffee service in the lobby? Shuttle driver was not friendly and to think he is the first impression of the hotel and country to foreigners arriving.

The Holiday Inn Express by Picaro was an awesome experience. the staff were polite and responsive to any issues. They engaged with you and made you feel like a friend. The shuttle bus driver was courteous. You could go to the Mall and back with the driver and they had an airport pick up and wake up calls . Breakfast was okay - you could always find something and coffee and tea avail all day. Pool was clean. Gym small but clean. Rooms clean and spacious . I was suitably impressed

I always bring my own shower gel and moisturising cream. I didn't use it. In the rooms they had Dove shower gel and body lotion. Both was very very nice.

The room was clean, the staff friendly. The breakfast was okay too.

Our stay was very relaxing and the staff was friendly and hospitable. Breakfast was ok as some items were not fresh or warm upon our arrival. Also thought that there could have been more variety and options for breakfast. Even though there were many close by food outlets , I would still like to recommend a bar and restaurant on site.

Overall my husband and I enjoyed our stay and felt comfortable and relaxed in our room.

Honestly I’m not one to write reviews but this hotel provided excellent customer service. It was quite and relaxing atmosphere. The front desk were very helpful and professional. Any requests made were accommodated . Our room was cleaned impeccably each day without having to ask for any additional service request . We felt very safe with 24/7 security . I will definitely recommend staying here .

Rooms are dated, smelled wet/moldy, toilet was broken,
but room was clean. Shuttle to the airport runs 24 hours and the staff was pleasant. Overall, on brand for Holiday Inn. Only stayed here because of proximity to the airport.

The room, and facilities were all up to par. The staff were extremely welcoming and provided outstanding service with all my needs. I recommend this hotel to all. Shuttle airport services made travel to and from Piarco a breeze. Thank you all. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Great stay! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a very convenient location near the airport. The atmosphere felt safe and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Great touch of continental breakfast and local dishes.
One small suggestion though, adding better lighting on the road leading to the hotel at night would make the experience even better. Highly recommended!

Bathroom arm 214 - Extractor Fan does not work. Take a shower and the mist clouds the mirror.
GYM-few pieces but enough for me.
Conveniently located near the Airport and Trincity Mall 5 minutes with the complementary Shuttle.
