We only stayed there for one night. The staff was very helpful since we checked in late at night and left early in the morning. The property is outdated and the floorplan of our room and entrance of the hotel are unique. The pool is in the checked in area by some of the room doors. Our room had a loft area and felt outdated. It is different but the bed was comfortable and the hotel was clean. The area was quiet and was a good break to our long drive. Thank you.

Our room was clean. It had an odor when we entered the room. It could be because it was warm and the air was off.

It was disappointing that there wasn’t an elevator to the second floor. There should be some kind of a warning for senior citizens.

The property was clean, plenty of parking, the front desk staff was friendly and they checked me in quickly. Mike in housekeeping was respectful, answered some questions for me, and he did not rush me out of the room although I was running late. He allowed me to get my things together without any pressure. I appreciate that kind of patience and assistance. I've been traveling through Trinidad for the past 11 years and I always stay at the Quality Inn as it is the half way point for me between Wyoming and Texas. The rates are reasonable and the staff is always pleasant. That is just a good old fashioned way to end the day, and get some quality sleep with the most comfortable pillows to lay your head on and drift off to sleep. Enjoy!

You have to vacate the breakfast area promptly at 9:00 am because the employee has another job to go to and must lock up the area. My mother arrived around 8:30a and was busy visiting with travel companions so she had barely had time to eat and left her plate to be discarded before realizing she could have possibly brought it to her room.

Stayed here three times now. Part of the hotel has been renovated (apparently near the front) and was very nice. The part that hasn't been is quite run-down. They should be charging less to stay on that end. The last time the door to the room didn't self-close, the outside entries were not locked at night. If you have a pet, you will probably end up at the un-improved end.

If you want a place to stay with your family and you don't mind it being dirty this is the place. The pool in particular was disgusting. When you get out you have a layer of slime that smells so bad. I can't get the smell out of the bathing suits. The blankets were dirty no covers on them. Just all together a bad experience especially having to stay 3 nights. We checked our on night 2. The breakfast also was terrible. Now I'm out 100$ for the last night but after seeing a huge spider I was like yes it's time to leave.

The hotel owners live here and cut corners to save. They do not clean rooms or make beds each day. Our bed was not made, even though we stayed all week. Breakfast was a huge disappointment. The juice was so watered down it became a joke. There is barely a hint of what flavor it used to be. The eyes of thin, Indian owners watching every bite you take with a side eye, made you uncomfortable to eat there, let alone stay.

Both rooms we got had stains on the blankets, one room had visible mold on the ceiling, and what looked to be a blood stain in the bathroom. When we walked down the hall there was at least one room where someone was smoking pot, the smell was so strong both that night and the next morning. At breakfast they served some boiled potatoes, no salt or seasoning at all. The egg patty thing they also had in the hot wells, were so dry and smelt terrible d from being over cooked. They only had one waffle maker and one toaster, so there was a long wait to get use of either device. I won’t be back, I rather sleep in my car.

The beds were comfortable and clean, and we slept well during our stay. The room itself was clean, but it did have a funny smell when we walked in. There were also holes in the curtains, which let light in from cars and guests arriving late at night.

Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. There wasn't much variety besides cereal. The eggs were rubbery, and the bread was hard and seemed stale. A few more fresh options would make a big difference.

One thing that concerned me was the bathroom outlet, which looked like it may have caught fire at some point. Another safety concern was that the outside entrance door lock was broken, so anyone could come into the building without a key. That made us feel a little uneasy during our stay.

Also, the pictures on the website did not match the actual hotel. It looked much nicer online than it did in person.

Overall, the hotel was okay for a short stay because the beds were comfortable and the room was clean, but the maintenance and safety issues, along with the breakfast, need some attention.
