At the beginning of the stay they took my credit card saying they needed it for incidentals. After I left i was charged 50.00. I slept, charged my phone, took a shower, used the hair dryer and left. I never used the TV, I turned down the air conditioner.it

Bedbugs. My wife and I had numerous bites
that showed up a few days after our overnight stay. We researched more thoroughly and found reviews that mentioned bedbug problems at this Quality Inn, Trinidad as well. Wish we had seen these reviews before we booked. Pay more and avoid this place.

Both rooms we got had stains on the blankets, one room had visible mold on the ceiling, and what looked to be a blood stain in the bathroom. When we walked down the hall there was at least one room where someone was smoking pot, the smell was so strong both that night and the next morning. At breakfast they served some boiled potatoes, no salt or seasoning at all. The egg patty thing they also had in the hot wells, were so dry and smelt terrible d from being over cooked. They only had one waffle maker and one toaster, so there was a long wait to get use of either device. I won’t be back, I rather sleep in my car.

The beds were comfortable and clean, and we slept well during our stay. The room itself was clean, but it did have a funny smell when we walked in. There were also holes in the curtains, which let light in from cars and guests arriving late at night.

Breakfast was probably the biggest disappointment. There wasn't much variety besides cereal. The eggs were rubbery, and the bread was hard and seemed stale. A few more fresh options would make a big difference.

One thing that concerned me was the bathroom outlet, which looked like it may have caught fire at some point. Another safety concern was that the outside entrance door lock was broken, so anyone could come into the building without a key. That made us feel a little uneasy during our stay.

Also, the pictures on the website did not match the actual hotel. It looked much nicer online than it did in person.

Overall, the hotel was okay for a short stay because the beds were comfortable and the room was clean, but the maintenance and safety issues, along with the breakfast, need some attention.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and all amenities were as expected except I was not able to sleep because the back courtyard spotlight was shining right into the room and the window had only a thin shade that didn’t filter the light. I called the front desk and complained and they said they could do nothing about it. The main purpose of a hotel room is to sleep. In this you failed. I will hesitate to book again

For the price it is well worth it.
Breakfast was a weak average.
Entrance C had a damaged and disabled card reader and the door was open at all times, which allowed any outside access directly to the rooms in the building. Needs fixed.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was acceptable with a nice towels and shower.

The room and grounds were well maintained. The rooms did not have enough electrical outlets. Free breakfast was supposed to be offered from 6am to 9am. At 8:45 am there was nothing out, everything was taken down early. Other than that, it was a good stay for the money.

The exterior is in need of some TLC. Lots of trash around. No dog poop disposal container except for the trah cans right by the doors. Not a great looking place.

I was traveling with my husband. We only stayed one night. The gentleman checking us in was very friendly. The room was clean and quiet. We had a King bed, very comfortable and room was spacious as well as the bathroom. The breakfast wasn’t to appealing to us so we didn’t eat there. The lady checking us out was very friendly as well. We would stay there again.

I was totally surprised at the quality of this hotel. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. There was an inside pool and hot tub that were clean and working. The workout room was amazing and there was a pool table to play pool for free. The rooms were clean and all in working order. The bed was comfortable. Water pressure was good. I was impressed and if I ever stay in Trinidad I will stay there. And Walmart was like a block away. The room had a small refrigerator and microwave.

The hotel lobby was impressive. It was enormous and served as the setting for the pool and game area and had a few comfortable couches and chairs for guests to relax. My room was spacious and comfortable. There were body wash, shampoo and conditioner dispensers in the bath. Plenty of parking and breakfast was included.

The location is great. Near restaurants, gas station and Walmart. It seems like they’re in the process of updating the rooms and they’re coming along. The bed was really comfortable. We were disappointed with breakfast, but it was still a great value compared to other nearby options. Parking lot felt safe and there is plenty of amenities if you have kids with you such as indoor pool and hot tub.

First, staff was amazing! They were genuinely concerned and helpful. Everyone we interacted with was happy and willing to assist.

We had to change rooms the first night and the difference between them was huge. The first room was not as nice as the pictures show but the second was well worth it. It was bright and spacious and was much better for us. The property didn't have an elevator and I wish I had known that ahead of time. The breakfast served wasn't great but we only tried it once. Overall, we enjoyed our time and wouldn't be opposed to staying there again.

This place is underpriced. The pictures do not show the updated rooms as they have since been painted, have new bedding and best of all the bathroom has been totally remodeled with beautiful marble look quartz countertop and a gorgeous walk-in shower surround with glass door. It was I think the fastest check-in I have ever experienced at a hotel. Ridiculously amazing value. Nothing else like it around and if you’re heading from Colorado down to Amarillo, this is the last decent place to stay.

Very nice pool and hot tub, in a nice area, no racket going on in the parking lot. Very great hotel, any bad review is a outlier or a karen/stickler. Everything was clean, the bathroom is very nice. Standard waffle breakfast with yogurt, eggs, sausage, potato squares, donut's (powdered and glazed), and many types of toast and english muffins and cereals. They also have an attendant on standby in the breakfast area the whole time in case something runs out.

Stayed just for one night on my way to Santa Fe. Arrived late and exterior doors on far end of buildings were not locked. No place to walk my dog where there wasn't some type of broken glass pieces. Room was decent except for food crumbs on floor...my dog enjoyed. The staff I interacted with were great, I just think they are understaffed. The area felt safe enough.

The room had been renovated but the ceiling was peeling in the corners, the room heat/cool unit was old and kind of noisy and the general ambiance of the place was sort of “tired”. On the plus side, the linens were very clean and non-fragranced - yay! The price was right and it has an indoor pool and hot tub. Easy to find too.

My vehicle got towed from this property and the staff was not helpful at all they said they didn’t know anything about it like don’t y’all have people watching the property the bathroom was not cleaned properly their was hair all over their shampoo,conditioner and body wash bottles their shower curtain was all ripped up we found a bed bug witch was absolutely disgusting almost made us want to check out but we had to put up with it because we where down here in Trinidad because of a family funeral I wouldn’t recommend this property if I ever visit Trinidad again I’ll rather stay at the quinta or holiday inn

I stay at this hotel about three times per year. It always delivers. The massive atrium area is wonderful. It has a nice swimming pool, a pool table, and many comfortable couches and chairs. My room was as good as it always is. I do get bummed by the occasional smell of ganja wafting from under doors but I also understand that’s how Colorado hotels are. This hotel is one of my favorites across all of the US.
