This place is overlooked by everyone I think. It’s an old style motel from the outside but the rooms have been remodeled now. The most comfortable beds of anywhere I’ve stayed. And for the price you definitely can’t beat it.

The room was pretty dirty unfortunately. Towels had black stains on them, makeup stains on the pillows. Every pillow was a different size/brand so that made me just feel a little uneasy. Fridge wasnt working, microwave was broken (thankfully i didnt need to use them). The guy working the front desk was nice but he looked quite unpresentable. Not that they need to be dressed up but he looked very dirty and was wearing a wife beater and basketball shorts. Overall i was pretty uncomfortable staying here but you get what you pay for. Cheapest hotel in trinidad.

This motel is older and lacks some amenities. However, the property is clean and quiet. The location of the property is also nice, with a Walmart located across the highway and the downtown about a mile or so away. For the cost, I would certainly stay here again.

Great place to stay. All of the rooms are in the midst of being upgraded. My room had a widescreen television and a high end bath mirror with an embedded LED lights that was awesome. The property manager is wonderful and tries to accommodate clients to the best of his ability. For the money, the Tower 64 can't be beat. It's also right across the freeway from the Super Walmart.

This motel is in rundown condition. They were working on improving the rooms. There was only one set of towels in the bathroom. Had to ask for towels. there was no place to hang clothes, no dresser, needed chairs there was one lawn chair. Outside needed swept. It had a refrigerator and a microwave which was nice. It was fairly clean.

Very welcoming attendant at the desk patiently helped me to sort out a misscheduled booking. The views from the parking lot in the morning and the calm, easygoing atmosphere do well enough to justify your stay here. By the way, I didn't detect any smell of grass in my room, if you're curious.

No frills place to crash

This motel is in a very convenient spot off the highway. Check in was fine. The room was dated but the furnishings were fine and things seemed clean.

The main problem was it was too warm for me to sleep. There was a gas heater that even when I turned the thermostat all the way down did not really turn off. The air conditioner didn't really seem to be working. There was one tiny window in the bathroom that wasn't enough to let the heat out and cold air in. I don't sleep all that well anyway, and for a lot of people I doubt it would have been a problem.

We made a reservation to stay at this motel at Expedia without a problem. When we got there it was almost completely empty with no one at the lobby (in Expedia said they had a 24/7 hr service at the lobby). We called at the number that was posted at the door and a girl answered us saying that they didn’t had any rooms available

We've stayed here a couple of times with no issues. This was our third time and probably our last time staying at the Tower. The office has a condemned sign on it and they are using one of the rooms nextdoor as the office.
Our room was filthy!!!, the carpet had stains all over it and looked 30 yrs old. The bathroom was clean, but no soap in there. The bed was supposed to be a memory foam mattress... Think it lost it's memory as it was hard as a rock and we kept getting bit by something, but couldn't figure out what it was. Maybe bed bugs?? At $75 a night, this place needs to seriously fix it up just a tad or lower the price to $45 which is more in line. Also our door would not lock from inside and it's a little sketchy around there. Next time we're in the area we'll stay at the Holiday inn across the street and it's only a few bucks more. Sorry Tower 64 it was sweet while it lasted...

I was captivated about the Mountain View that’s short for highway and some trees. I started itching as soon as I pulled the covers back that was after I disinfected the room with Lysol and sanitizer and I laid under the covers and I started itching badly. So I took my allergy meds and passed out. I did not hear much noise which was very pleasing. The hot tub was covered I guess you just request to get in the hot tub. I was disappointed because there was not information provided about the hot tub. I actually didn’t see the hot tub until it was pointed out to me so I guess it’s a secret. This motel should be no more than $35 a night we had no chair in the room for our desk. The walls have a lot of damage which is being covered up and not repaired. There was an odd smell when entering the room. The people sitting outside were asking us personal questions like they were the investigators. I must be honest if your going on vacation don’t stay here unless you want to enjoy the rough side of town. Some people love the scenery but for me it was not worth what they asked for the night stay. It’s a easy spot for people who are drive bys like I am coming in and going the same day type of people or someone who doesn’t have standards. I am always willing to give someone a chance but I was not happy with this visit I felt like I was swindled. They need to put this motel down to a 1 star.

I had a very good experience staying here. The staff person (Lisa) was very friendly and helpful. The room was very basic but had everything I needed for this one night stay. I was solo with my Labrador and they were very accommodating. The motel is older, the carpet in my room was older and could use some updating but the bed was very comfortable! The other thing that I noticed was that it was very quiet here. It’s pretty close to I25 and I heard no road noise at all. I also felt very safe here. Was outside walking dog at night for last potty break and didn’t feel nervous or bothered in anyway. It’s very convenient to I25…easy on and off. I will use them again when I stay in Trinidad.

I knew property was not in best shape, since I had stayed here less than two weeks before. But this time there was trouble with office checking in, telling me my credit card would not work. Kept me out of a room to rest while I called bank, tried a different card, etc. (after 10 hour drive), when it was a problem with motel system. Then shower was only cold water and TV not working properly. Oh well. Just won't stay at this place next time. Although June 26 night stay went well.

I chose Tower 64 because of the nostalgia and the price. I knew it would be older and basic. Rhett, the manager, made me feel welcome and safe. I never saw one bug, dead or alive. The smell was off a bit, but nothing to complain about as it probably had to with condensation. I will probably stay there again.

Condemned! This building has been condemned and has signs posted stating that is illegal to occupy the property. We left and did not fulfill our reservation. So far the hotel and hotels.com have not assisted with a refund. Avoid at all costs.

This was an ordinary motel, but the customer service put it at the top of the charts! At first it seemed like many other roadside motels I've stayed at... But from the moment we pulled in the parking lot, I was pleasantly surprised by the friendly and helpful staff. The place is also set up so you have ample opportunity to meet other travelers, with a table and chairs in front of each room . With a referral from the front desk, I also found safe rides of Trinidad with whom I booked a ride to the train station in the morning. Id actually give this roadside motel 5 stars!

This funky, smaller hotel was very convenient from the highway, and quiet. We appreciated their pet policy. My two dogs enjoyed sniffing around the property. Could it have been a little cleaner? Probably, but the other factors outweighed this and we would stay here again.

My room was very easy to book online. The motel staff was very nice and accommodating with me having 2 large dogs. I had broken down heading out of town and they offered me an early check in. The room was very very clean and the pillows were awesume. The motel wasn't fancy, but the cost was good and had a certain zen to it. The night and early morning sky was fabulous! I would definitely stay again.

They advertise being marijuana friendly, which means you can request a room that allows it. I did not and had no problems with anyone else around me who may have.

Bug parts were found. The eve of one building was right over our door. We got soaked trying to get in the door. When we asked the staff about the problem all they said was \"No Refunds\". There is no view. It is just a bad place.I would strongly suggest going somewhere else. And i am not a hard person to please.

I love these classic older motels !! Being right off I-25, I thought I would have an issue with traffic noise but not so... The Suite was huge and well laid-out... Had the biggest TV I've ever had in any room (80+ inch - the Drive-In model) The bed was comfortable, the location was awesome... Restaurants, Wal-Mart and a Laundry are all convenient.

The property is a quaint, little old motel along I-25. The motel was very welcoming, from the friendly front-desk staff to the lights left on in the late evening in every room. Beds, amenities, & furnishings are all basic and a bit outdated. But my room was *very* clean & the bed was super-comfortable. I cracked my window overnight and the air temp’ was absolutely perfect for a great night’s sleep! The room rate was totally fair — I easily received the basic value that I paid for. :-)

Keep away - scam! They gave us the first room (for sure recently flooded) - impossible to breath (smelling of mold). I asked for another and the new one was smelling just a little less. The door was broken recently (the doorknob was shaking) and was impossible to lock it from the inside. The was no soap - asked for it - received a plastic pot with conditioner and shampoo. I refused to stay and asked to cancel the reservation - they refused. Tried to have it refunded by Expedia and the property accused me for breaking the door...
