The room was awesome. Lots of goodies and a stuffy we couldn't take home... we tried to do laundry and sadly the dryers were not wanting to function.. we ended up have to hang dry a lot of our stuff.

This hotel has obviously been renovated and whoever owns/manages it is working hard to make it an excellent experience. I’ve never come into a room and had a gift basket - free bottled water! This was such an affordable room that I wasn’t expecting much but this hotel was one of the nicest little places we’ve stayed. The staff was super friendly, they had a nice little breakfast set up and it was clean. There is limited parking but they provide cones to save your spot from the people just coming to eat at the delicious restaurant in the lot.
My only “complaint” if you will, was the air fresheners in the hallways were a bit strong for my nose. Everything smelled good though! We’ve stayed at various hotels in Cody, but this will be a top consideration from now on.

After several days on the road, it was refreshing to have such a roomy place for the night. It was a plus having the little couch to relax on. The shower was superb, and the bed was very comfortable. We especially appreciated the staffer who brought my forgotten jacket out to me as we were packing up!

The room was clean, employees were nice, and the gift basket for us was a wonderful touch. I also highly recommend the restaurant. The only downfall was that coffee was not ready until someone comes in at 8am, but there was a great little coffee shop across the street that opens at 6:30.

Our television did not work properly with the cable setup. The front desk clerk came up to try to fix it, but could not, so we didn't have television for an evening. It turns out that the television had to be replaced. We understand that is not the hotel's fault and appreciate the quick replacement. The new television worked fine.

The pillows were paper thin the bed uncomfortable. When I put the bath mat down to take a shower the floor was so dirty it turned it black. Walls very thin. They provide ear plugs to make up for it. But it wasn’t a very comfortable stay.

The Scout is a hidden gem, and we couldn't have been happier with our stay. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, the room was simple but clean, and they even supplied a goodie bag with beer coozies, ear plugs, sleep masks, liquid IV and a bottle of water. The bar located in the parking lot, Blanca Tatanka, was also surprisingly good as far as food goes. Highly recommend this place, you won't be sorry, especially for the price.

Front desk clerk was very friendly. Parking as easy. The room itself was very spacious, more room I think than a regular chain hotel room. However, the flooring in our room was very noisy. Almost like it wasn’t put down right. We were also on the bottom floor and the whole building in general was very noisy. Would probably stay again but request a top floor room.

Very clean room. I enjoyed having a room with no nasty carpet. They provide ear plugs for you in the room which was nice. We didn't think we needed them because the hotel was on the quiet side the night we stayed, however, the garbage truck was in the alley at the back end of the hotel and we quickly realized why we needed ear plugs. Other than that, we thought it was well worth the price.

The Scout INN is a decent but basic hotel. The bed was comfortable, the shower had sufficient hot water, the room was reasonably quiet. I have no complaints, and found the stay was satisfactory to my expectations. It is in the middle of downtown Cody, so close to points of interest and within walking distance of a couple of nice coffee shops for breakfast.

We were pleasantly surprised by how big the room was. Conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants. Downtown was not far, walking distance if wanted. The Blanca Tatanka restaurant and bar is part of the hotel so you’ve gotta love that! Great food and drinks, good service. Beds were comfy and it was quiet. They have cute little gifts for your stay too. Ear plugs and sleeping masks if wanted and drink cozies, bottle opener and lip balm. Little mint chocolates as well. BTW…you can’t beat the price either!
