The office is always locked but there is a phone number to call. The room was good. Clean, but a broom in the room would've been handy with all the sand. There was a full kitchen to cook food and a full sized fridge. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was good. Did have to ask for towels and was given 1. There is a pool and courtyard in the back.

The A/C worked fine. There was dish soap but nothing to wash dished with. No sponge or cloth. No dish towels. No hot pads. No spoons. Only 2 little salad forks. One glass. Wine opener but no wine glasses. No bath mat. No rugs at all. Only one hand towel. 2 bath towels and 2 wash clothes were of extremely poor quality, very thin. One sofa than had seen much better days, very uncomfortable, and no other furniture in living area. No end tables, lamps or chairs. This property could be so cute but is kept like a low rate property.

First room they put us in smelled badly like smoke. Cigarette butts everywhere in parking lot, shower was in terrible need of repair, grout and caulking was terrible looking , shower faucet leaked, very old and shabby rooms. It looked nothing like the pictures, would not stay there again.

Zero towels, no rags. Someones belongings dispersed here and there, dirty dish in sink when I walked in. Surfaces clean enough, picture in bathroom had a quarter inch of dust on top tho. And a random snail trail across the couch. Cheap though, a/c worked well, but sounded like a 7.3 diesel

First and foremost, there was no hot water in the shower. I stayed five nights and mentioned it to them four times and there was still no hot water the day I left. I requested a partial refund due to this fact. Who ever heard of a motel with no hot water for a shower? There were no eating utensils, but they did have two coffee cups and one drinking glass and four stoneware plates. There were three pots, but no frying pan. No word from the owner regarding a partial refund.

The pictures do not reveal the actual condition of the rooms. There was mold everywhere, holes in the wall, duct tape on the bedroom window. The original tv broke so they put a second tv in front of it. The room smells of pot and there were cigarettes butts out front and out back. The AC was super noisy. The pool was ok but needed a bug cleaning. The room should have been half the price for the condition and what was offered. Don't be fooled by the photos and pet friendly advertisement. Englewood beach and surrounding area doesn't allow dogs. Its a 30 min drive to the closest dog beach.

The old saying you get what you pay for definitely pertains here. I rented a King Bed with sofa sleeper room. The day I was checking in, I got a call saying they changed my room to 2 TWIN beds. Asked if I was going to get a discount? I was told No, same price! The room was in desperate need of a repair. There are no outlets in the bathroom to blowdry your hair. The refrigerator door was so dirty I didn’t like touching it. There’s a few dishes, but no dish soap. A coffee maker but no coffee or filters. The shower curtain was all ripped up. The whole place looked unkept. It was a place to sleep at best.

The pictures must be outdated because while they show a very simple motel, the reality of it is, I’m not sure this should be a functional establishment until some work is done. Amenities included a full sized fridge and stove which was nice. We were given three tiny hand soaps and a half used travel bottle of shampoo. The floors turned your socks black so we wore our shoes the full stay. I believe there was black mold throughout the shower in the large cracks that were poorly recaulked. There’s no vents in the bathroom so the expectation is that you open the tiny window, unfortunately there’s no screen and you’re within view if anyone is out back. The blinds didn’t fully cover the windows so picture frames were set in them to try and provide privacy. There was no check in or out instructions. A text was sent to me on the day of check in that said my key was sitting in the unlocked room. I have no idea what check out instructions were so I left the keys where they were when we got there. I don’t typically write bad reviews but we were stuck staying at this motel because there was no other places to go once we got there. I spent close to $500 on a place I felt uncomfortable in and I don’t want anyone else to get stuck doing the same. We even went out and bought towels and pillows because the ones provided smelled so bad. It could be a super great place if time and money were put in, but right now, I’m very surprised they are allowed to rent rooms especially at the price.

We arrived late at 1 a.m. due to our flight delay. They left the door unlocked for us which was nice however the main office didn't open until 10:a.m. the next morning. Our room (#1) was rundown with old furniture and half painted. We slept with lights on wearing all our clothes afraid of bed bugs and cockroaches. It's too bad because it's a lovely area! I don't know what the rest of the rooms were like because I couldn't talk to anyone the next morning. I couldn't wait to get out of there!

The room is nasty and unuseable and there's noone on site at night. There is no curtains in a street level street facing room, used dirty sheets on the bed, the sleeper bed can barely be pulled out and used in the small space, there are no blankets for the sleeper sofa, no towels, odd odors and stains... we will be leaving tonight and not staying...

The blinds didn’t fit the windows, the walls were disgustingly filthy, it stunk, we reserved it that morning. Got there around 9pm girl went in first to make sure it was cleaned????? A joke. There was a wad of purple gum stuck to the side of the table that was so old it was hard as rock! The toilet felt like it was going to fall off. Bed was very uncomfortable and pillows were flat. Fridge was very rusty looking. There was a hole in the wall with exposed wires that were capped. I wouldn’t have given even 1 star it was that bad! Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!

Not a good choice!

The room was filthy and the toilet didn't flush. When we complained about it, the owner denied that it was not clean and said the toilet was working. We showed her the proof and asked for a different room, which she said she did not have. We cleaned up the mess ourselves. She then said we could just check out because we were complaining too much and that she already rented OUR room to someone else! This motel was great under the prior owner, but this new owner is HORRIBLE! I also called during the hurricane to see if they had water or power and she said no water but she was still renting rooms, which I'm pretty sure you are NOT supposed to be doing!! Sketchy, sketchy!! We will never stay here again!

Please do not stay here. This location is not as described. The man who answered the phone when I checked in seemed fine. Nothing wrong there. The room was a total disgrace. It was advertised as having a pull out couch. This is not true. There is a broken futon. It is also advertised as sleeps 4. Two people cannot sleep on an average sized futon. The tow twin beds were very broken down and one of the mattress covers had blood or maybe coffee splashed on it (I didn’t get close enough to make the call on what the substance was). There was a bandaid holding the outlet plate cover to the wall and it had been painted over. The property was also a mess. The pool gate was broken and on the ground (this is really unsafe overall). The furniture by the pool was all broken. There were multiple air conditioners just hanging out behind the rooms in the areas where you would walk to the pool or use the advertised grill (there were a few grills, none I would recommend using). There was a tampon just on the ground. Weird wiring and things from the rooms. Overall, I would really just like my money back but whatever. We ended up leaving less than 24 hours after check in.

Slightly disappointing. We made the reservation for a 1 night stay. Did not want to spend a lot of money for 1 night due to the fact we would not be there most of the stay. Just spending the night. The property was overgrown with vegetation which wasn't inviting to start with. The units are set up with full kitchens. The room was spacious but very dated. The air conditioner did not work but luckily was not needed due to a cool evening and ceiling fan in the bedroom. The shower head was leaking and half effective distributing water. Overall I guess you get what you pay for. Probably would spend the extra money to stay elsewhere.

The overall stay was good. Joe the Manager allowed us to check in early and was very hospitable and accommodating. The area was safe and very quiet at night, allowing us to get a good night's sleep. Although, the only negative was that the hotel is very outdated. We stayed in the cottage and it could have been cleaned a little better. The window coverings were old curtains and blinds that didn't fit the window sills, allowing some light to creep in at night. The bed was comfortable and the old window AC had to be kept on all night in order to cool the room, and it was quite loud. Other than that, with a few upgrades the place is worth the stay for a one-nighter.

Joe was very nice and helpful.
Cottage was average. Bed was comfortable. No bugs ;) Everything works,TVs & appliances.
Accommodating for our 2 dogs.
The pool was within walking steps from the cottage door.
Coffee/breakfast shop right next door. Mexican restaurant within walking distance. Lunch Box across the road. 10-15 min drive to Manasota Key, Beach & the state park and other nice restaurants.
Property was being cleaned up from the storms, def making progress.

The fleas outside made it unbearable to enjoy the pool, check in took 30 minutes because we couldn’t get ahold of anyone and the office was closed. The bathroom shower didn’t drain at all hardly , there was mold in the bathroom. Overall it was extremely disappointing. The only compliment I can give them is the fact that we did wake up late and didn’t have everything packed at check out time and they were very understanding about that.

The management was not on site so there was nobody to talk to about the condition of the rooms. We had 2 rooms and we're there for work. They were left open and we were texted that the keys were inside the rooms. When we arrived we found that the rooms were so so old and the furniture so nasty q Add that we wouldn't sit down. Since we booked through Expedia there was no way of getting our money back.
These rooms were so nasty that we decided to forfeit the money and go somewhere else.
The Expedia rating on these rooms are way high. I can't believe anyone would ever give them a rating over terrible.

It was very convenient we had a Long Beach day and the service was great he called and left key for check in . There was grocery stores right down the street and a bar restaurant if we wanted to go and right next door was a breakfast cafe. They could clean up the landscaping weeds etc.around buildings to look more attractive to the eye but overall I would stay here again.

It's an older hotel, it accomodated us just fine. It's not stocked with everything, but it does get you by. I'm experienced with travel in hard times, so I carry basics for cooking. Joe is a "one man show", as he says - kudos, & thank you. He is very nice & pleasant young man. I would stay again if needed & would hope to have the same end unit. Thank you Joe.

Joe the manager was a great host, he seems to be doing the best he can with the mess he has to deal with. The exterior is filthy with stuff all over the grounds which basically just needs to be cleaned up a ladder against a pole I guess to deal with some issues wires down out our back door overgrown foliage etc Dirty door going in room needs. Inside worst part plastic mattress cover on bed, Plugs don’t work here and there an extension cord coming from behind refrig to plug in stuff I guess. Toilet leaking or something rug around toilet always wet
We should have not stayed we were tired and didn’t have energy to find something and it was a quick 2 nights in Englewood and had a big lab with us, hard to find place on moments notice
Disappointed in Hotels.com that they list such a poor property because now I have read almost all the reviews and realize it was a big mistake to rent this place
It has possibilities for sure and we kept saying Omg why don’t they just clean this place up 😜 Really nice pool out back but wires down on ground to get to it Enough said please read all reviews and probably not stay here
