Great location! Beautiful sunsets on the pier. Overall, wonderful stay! Moving the coffee table looking for an item revealed it hadn't been cleaned under in a while. We were advised we would have to wait an hour for check-in only to be called back 5 minutes later that we could as there was a mixup. Smoke from other tenants smoking outside our unit could be smelled inside. Furniture moves easily! Beds are FIRM.

The hotel was a perfect Christmas getaway—peaceful, relaxing, and ideal for family time. We loved spending our mornings sitting on the dock and walking along the water searching for hermit crabs. On Christmas Eve, our family enjoyed grilling together and playing cornhole, which made the holiday especially memorable.
Although the pool was a bit chilly, we still took a dip and had fun. The villa was well equipped with everything needed to prepare a holiday meal, and the beds were comfortable. Overall, the space was cozy, clean, and very welcoming, making our stay truly enjoyable.

The property was clean and well-equipped. The pool was excellent, my kids love it. My favorite part was the waterfront view and the deck. I love to watch the sunset, and this property had the perfect view. I enjoyed it with a glass of wine. The Owner was friendly, making the experience even better. We will be going back here.

Most properties are still in bad shape from hurricanes. Paradise cove in lemon bay looks great , no signs of damage. Owner was great and seen him out doing improvements daily.
Pool coming soon. Highly recommend Paradise Cove if you’re truly looking to relax in peace and comfort. Everything you need is also here as far as laundry room and stores that you can walk to. Also private beach and fishing which my dog and I used daily. Thanks Paradise Cove

Excellent stay. The unit is well furnished, with many lovely details (bath robe, bedspread on the couch, etc.), is clean and has everything you need. The mattress is comfortable.
The place was completely cleaned up and fixed so soon after the storms. Liked evenings by the water and watching the sunset.

Our favorite place to stay.

This was my second time staying. The property is beautiful and they are slowly making upgrades. The whole back patio has been redone. Only little things need some attention like a few light bulbs are out around the property but nothing major.
I will definitely be bringing my family back to this location.

The place is in a sweet location. Nice sunsets and relaxing on the dock. The unit I stayed in was clean and comfortable, and reservations went smoothly.

The property is in need of updating all around, but it looks they are starting to do that since there was a landscape crew just starting a complete makeover.

I'd stay there again.

The TV only had 1 Channel, room was Dirty on arrival (Toenail clippings in floor), an clawed under the Bath Tub every night and was very disturbing.

The dock setting was very nice but our unit was across the street and there was not one sign explaining where our unit was. When we did call we were treated rudely on the phone. No shampoo or soaps in the bathroom and a very tiny air conditioner that was needed to keep the unit moderately comfortable. Otherwise it was welcoming inside and we met other nice visitors.

We had business to conduct in Englewood. Paradise Cove provided the quiet reflection time we needed. We spent each evening on the pier watching the pelicans, a pair of manatees, and the setting sun. Other guests were excellent company.

The best part of this place was the access to a very small beach area that included a dock to enjoy. We sat out with friends in a partly sun and partly shaded end of the dock. We had a 2-bedroom unit, with a nice full kitchen. It is an older place with older furniture, and 2 window air conditioners. The location is off the beaten path, close to Englewood Beach.

We enjoyed the dock and the quietness of the area.
We did not enjoy being rushed out of our cottage prior the indicated check-out time without prior notice due to a painting subcontractor solicited by the Staff arriving to walk the cottage to prepare a painting proposal.

No hot shower in my room. Came and moved me into another room. No hot shower in that room either. I complained and asked for my money back. They wouldn’t give it to me unless I drove to their place of business. I felt that due to my inconvenience, they should at least brought me the check. Still haven’t gotten a refund. Yuck!

My stay at Paradise Cove was great. My unit was clean and had all the necessary amenities.
The AC window unit was very noisy. I wished the unit had central air because it felt hot if you were sitting in the kitchen area.
Parking was not great. Someone parked in my assigned spot and did not move his precious car during my whole stay so I had to park in front of my unit‘s door (which was not allowed). If people come in more than one vehicle, there is not enough space for everyone.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would stay at Paradise Cove again in the future.

Property was old and run down. #4 has one little window air conditioner in the bedroom for the whole condo. It does not keep it even cool in the living room and kitchen. In the afternoon it gets steamy in there even with the ceiling fan running. Staff in the office was great thought. They respond very quick before your stay to make sure everything is complete.

Our place was beautiful!
It was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very comfortable old Florida feel vacation rental. Very roomy. And the outside is unbelievably perfectly old Florida great fishing on the dock you can bring your boat or rent a boat nearby and bring it to the dock. And plenty of parking if you have extra vehicles you can park across the street in their other area. Beautiful view of lemon Bay right on lemon bag and beautiful view of Minnesota K right across the Bay and the best part about it is the sunset right over the Bay gorgeous you will not be disappointed at this place that's for sure!

Location was great. Wood steps nearly caving in, bed could barely hold our weight, only 1/2 roll of toilet paper at check in and no spare roll. Air conditioner struggled to keep it cool inside. Also an empty tissue box. Dock was nice but in the evenings it smelled like someone was dumping waste in the water.

I stayed in the studio room as that was only spot available. Advertising portrays it as a special little spot. Room had no central heat just a ceramic cube for emergency heat. I had to use it because it was a cold spell. Hot water was barely tepid and not able to take a shower because of it. Patio door doesn't close properly without playing around with it for a time. Only a hasp for locking. Floor uneven. TV directions terrible. A man came by to fix it for me.

It took us a bit of time to find our accommodation. We hadn't appreciated that Paradise Cove didn't have a manned reception desk at all, so it took some time to find our cottage as it was sited across the road from the main address given. Having said that the property was generally clean, comfortable and well equipped. We were surprised to find, what we thought were, mouse droppings in some kitchen drawers and cupboards. As we found we were passing the rental companies offices the next morning we decided to call in to tell them. They were apologetic and said it would most likely be lizard droppings and that the cleaners would normally have checked everything but they had been under pressure for a quick turn around. Speaking to some other residents during our stay we determined that there hadn't been occupancy in our cottage immediately before our rental. Unfortunately too on our last night it was very wet and the next morning we found water was dripping from the ceiling into the main bedroom onto the television electrics. After contacting the management company, whose office was about 2 miles away, they said they would get somebody to sort it out as soon as we had left that morning.

This is a very peaceful nook right on Lemon Bay. The location is excellent, close to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. The management company was very responsive and accommodating to all our needs. Loved enjoying my morning coffee out on the pier! Will be back!

Bug Feces in room!!!!

We booked a stay here for our 5 year wedding anniversary due to the majority or the reviews being good and the pictures on the site. The room was nothing like the pictures.

We were due to check in at 2 and was told the key would be waiting for us. We arrived early and found the key. Upon entering the room we found that nothing in this room was like any of the pictures, everything seemed outdated and very cramped. When looking through the kitchen cabinets we found bug feces(shown in the pictures). At this time we decided to book a different room somewhere else.

I called to let them know that we would not be staying here due to what we had found. I was offered a different room but wasn't willing to stay here due to a lot of the rooms being connected. I was never offered a refund or credit or anything even though we wouldn't be staying there. All I got was we are sorry you had to be the one to find that.

In my opinion this is very poorly run establishment. If someone finds something like that you should be offered a refund even though it is out of the cancellation period. Good business practice would be to make this right for a customer! Not just keep their money!

In Unit 7, the bed and pillows were uncomfortable. The tub/shower is old and hard to stand in and the A/C unit was not big enough to handle the space especially at this time of the year. The sliding glass door did not open easily and the actual lock on the sliding glass door did not work, there was a simple lock added that anyone could have broken with little strength.

The property is on the waterfront with great views. Minutes from the local beaches and local shops. Very quiet and peaceful area. Possibly found as many sharks sharks teeth in the driveway as we did at the Beach.

Ohh, and the unit was very pleasant to stay in as well. A kitchen, washer and dryer, local cable tv and AC. Home away from home.
