Great stay 4 nights. They still had heater on pool so wad like taking a bath. Not refreshing at all its summer time. I told person in office but they left it on. We had the king suite which was nice. Have stove top and all pots and pans and utensils. Microwave and nice size refrigerator and freezer. They also have stuff for beach like umbrella, beach chairs, shark teeth scoopers free to use. Free bottle water. No grills. We might go back next summer.

Great place to stay right next to the beach. The hotel had everything you could need beach towels, umbrellas, shark tooth sisters. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The area is peaceful and close enough to also drive to other beaches in Sarasota area if want to. It was a great hotel!

The Inn at the Beach has an excellent location across from the beach, the staff are all great too. The only downside we experienced if you can even call it that is the bathroom is small for two people trying to get ready and our ac had a weird high-pitch noise - other than that, it is a great boutique-style Inn. Just an fyi, the breakfast included is only pastries/bakery items that are delish, however, a bit of a bummer when expecting a full breakfast. Would definitely stay here again though!

We we're extremely happy with our stay, the hotel sits across from the beach. Not much traffic to worry about crossing to the beach side. Very small town feel. Staff was great, room was clean, AC was perfect and the area was quiet. What more could we ask for. We'll stay again good Lord willing.

The housekeeping staff were very kind and the rooms were cleaned everyday. I would have kept my towels an extra day or two but they did come in to make the beds and swap out towels. I think they did their best cleaning but the maintenance of the rooms had nothing to do with the cleanliness. The mold in the showers are just covered over with more grout or caulking. The beds need to be updated. The pillows are big and hard. The microwave in the room seems dangerous for a hotel with people who seem to drink late into the night. The room we booked said 3 people could stay but there was only 1 king bed so I'm not sure where the other person was supposed to sleep. Overall, great location, great housekeeping and late check-in staff, but would not book here again because of discomfort of beds/pillows and lack of updating rooms/bathrooms for how much they charge people per night.

Loved this cute little inn on the beach! So conveniently located and So thoughtfully decorated and well maintained. Very accommodating and allowed for early check in and late check out so we could maximize our time at the beach. Beach chairs and sand sifters were available for us to use. Local bakery supplied pastries for a simple but delicious continental breakfast. The only concern we had was that the air conditioning did not get that cold. We made it work!

The closeness to the beach, cleanliness of the entire property, friendliness of the staff, and cute and spacious rooms make the Inn at the Beach a terrific getaway. If you are looking for a relaxing, chill, atmosphere, this is the place to go. There are some eating options within walking distance, along with a few shops. Beautiful and CLEAN area in general.

This is our second time staying here. We absolutely love how it is 10 steps away from the beach, they provide breakfast from a local bakery which is delicious, then they have beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand shifters to borrow for free. The umbrella is a life saver in the florida sun and the shifter is just the best thing ever to find alot of shark teeth. We love the microwave and fridge. Makes it easier to save some money that way. Great hotel.

We absolutely loved every single thing about this hotel. Upon arrival, we were surprised to find out that our room had been upgraded. Daily housekeeping! I haven't found a place that provides this service since before COVID. The contental breakfast was amazing, as a local bakery provided freshly made goods. The staff was phenomenal and so helpful. Perfectly situated across the street from the beach, which provided easy beach access. There is so much more but I will not spoil all of the surprises. We will definitely be back.

It was big enough for all 6 of us to be comfortable and enjoy time together between beach breaks, pool breaks and walks to town for dinner and ice cream. They had wonderful breakfast and lent us tools to find sharks teeth (we found 3!). We really couldn't have been happier to stay here and will be back!

The carpet was really dirty, it felt sticky and the pillows felt like bean bag's and heavy the bed was hard and the breakfast had no eggs or pancakes or anything hot but bagels to make that was hot. The ac is in front of the refrigerator so when you got back from the beach and need a drink, it was like you would get sick in front of the ac, the valum on the TV only works on two settings so it was you couldn't hear it or it would blow a ear drum! The sheets were stained. I don't recommend it

I booked a King Studio,mainly because there was a sliding door with a big private outdoor patio,with table and chairs.It was our 50th Anniversary, and my husband loves to sit outside.We checked in, went to the room,and there was no slider,no private courtyard as pictured when I booked.We were on the front of the building,on the street side,with a driveway next to us AND the steps to the second floor. Two chairs out front.Extremely dissappointing ...went to the desk,questioned it and was told we were in a King Studio and the ones Expedia showed me were in the back and already taken.

Love this place!! Staff was awesome, the grounds are well maintained and the room exceeded our expectations. Cute decor and was really quiet, parking was a breeze. Had everything we needed and it is right across the street from the beach, literally RIGHT across the street. It is about a half mile walk to the downtown area for restaurants and shopping, but there is a quick hamburger/hotdog place in the same block that was convenient for a quick bite (really good fries). If you are looking to shark tooth hunt, they have scoops and floating sifters available. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Hotel provided beach towels and chairs if needed. Staff was super friendly. This was my first time in Venice and I had a wonderful time.
