So when I booked this resort through Expedia, the night I arrived to the resort I called the number and was trying to check in. It was a very unorthodox way to check in. Very confusing for my first solo trip and knowing how check out procedures work for a hotel. No one was available in “reception” meaning there was a note hanging on the “office” door. There also seemed to be a lack of care for guests. Not having a lifeguard on duty or a simple first aid kit available for injuries. Very your on your own feel. And there’s a shuttle and beach access within walking distance that management isn’t aware of to give information on. The beach was beautiful. And the room was decent. For a studio seems suitable just no microwave.

Checked in late, was exhausted so we didn’t notice anything. Next morning we woke up and the entire place smelled like mildew/ mold. My wife is extremely allergic. Asked clerk for another room and first she said there was nothing available and then she said it would be nearly $700 per night almost 3 times what we were paying per night through a third-party. The pool was so dirty. No one in their right mind would swim in it. We open the windows in attempt to air the place out only to come home with all of our clothes and suitcases smelling of the place. I do not recommend staying here. Worst part is this was our honeymoon trip.

Overpriced. Room was so small could barely get around the bed. Good distance from everything. Clean room, good location to walk to the beach and pool was nice. Short stay was great but unless I was by myself I wouldn’t be able to stay for longer than a couple of days. Very expensive for the space

It was very clean, few amenities, had no wash clothes in bathroom lol. Parking was good, only a 2 min walk to beach. The pool was nice. Just be careful and stay at the one on point of rocks Rd, not the midnight pass one.

Perfect place for a single person, a family, or a couple looking for a relaxing getaway and a break from everyday life. The room was very clean when we arrived, and housekeeping was available to clean whenever we were out of the room. Having an assigned parking spot was a huge plus since we never had to worry about finding parking.

It was about a 5-minute walk to the beach, which was amazing. Overall, I would give this place a 10/10! I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Sarasota/Siesta Key area!!

Hello, we would like to make a complaint regarding our stay in rooms 116 and 113. We experienced several issues that we do not think are acceptable.

- Incomplete towels provided
- Shower door misaligned (does not close)
- Soap and shampoo
dispenser stuck
- Both rooms had a wet towel hanged on the back of door
- Dirty floor
- The blanket and pillows for the sofa bed was missing for one of the rooms
- One of the rooms was delivered an hour and a half late
-None of these issues were resolved during our stay

In addition, we went to the office to speak with the receptionist, but there was no one there to assist us.
We would appreciate if these concerns could be addressed as soon as possible.

After a terrible experience at another property, we moved our stay to Azul and had a fantastic experience. It’s very family friendly and we had our two children with us. The room was so clean and updated. The pool was nice and warm and it was very close to the beach. We had an issue with the A/C after hours and they had Maintenance there within 30 minutes. We will be staying here again, and would recommend staying here.

The property is in a great location and thats where the positives end! After traveling over 2000 miles for our stay we recieved zero check in info. I called the number over a dozen times durring buisness hours to no avail. Over the last few hours of our travel to this resort we called a dozen more times finally getting ahold of someone at another property owned by the management company who insisted theyd \"make them send the info via text\" after waiting another hour we continued to call to no avail. Finally as we arrived in the area we reached yet another person at yet another one of the companies properties who very reluctantly volunteered our check in info was plainly obvious in their computer system and once again tried to insist we wait for a text message! 2000 miles from home with small kids without somewhere to stay! Urgency setting in we called again after waiting some time without said text. Mind you they've placed a hold on our card for the stay already! We get ahold of yet ANOTHER PROPETY owned by the management company who was able to be talked into sharing our dam check in info over the phone!! We get into the room to find the second bed isnt made up never once was the office open! BEST PART the day after our check in we get this message with an apology worded \"so sorry meant to send this yesterday\" After travels on 4 continents in 20 countries these idiots hold the record for the worst experience!

We booked a suite for 250 a night and ended up in a hotel room which was updated. Small refrig was dirty. Expected an efficiency but they said the power was out and we could check in right away a block from, I guess main resort. Beach access was around the corner and pool was also. For the price not impressed at all. Actually disappointed. The beach was shared with a ritzy place and you weren’t allowed to be on the flagged off area of the ritzy condo.

The Cottage itself was very cute and clean. Disappointed there was no fridge on a wine cooler. Also disappointed there was only an expresso coffee machine not a regular coffee machine. Also, the clerk at the reception office did not tell us that no one is in the office until 10am. We tried to check out at 9am, the office was locked, sign next to door said the opened at 9, tried to call, the didn't answer the phone and no recording, it just rang and rang. Called the main resort number and checked out through them. Disappointing.

The location is great short walk distance to to beach, stores and restaurants.
The room I stayed in didn’t have microwave I stayed for only one night but if I was going to stay longer it will be a down point to me.
The room was clean and well maintained.
I arrived after the reception was closed but
check in was easy I was give my door code after a short phone call. Definitely recommend this property.

Room was clean but keep this in mind this place is bare bones . Bed toilet and shower . No chairs inside or outside your room . A small fridge that does not keep anything cold . A tv you cannot figure out . No paperwork that tells you anything and that you have to walk down the street and around the bend to a different hotels pool and beach access area ! Also NO closet !! Ridiculous! Worst hotel I have ever stayed . The only thing I can say is it was clean . Oh and NO WINDOWS ! So not even sure how it passed inspection with no egress incase of fire !

No map was provided and it was quiete confusing trying to find out room which was on the backside of the property. The room was nice. I expected the bed to be softer as I thought I recalled it said pillow top mattress, but it was ok. The tv should be on a swivel as it’s hard to see from the bed and the couch isn’t exactly cozy to sit on.
We did walk right out to the pool but the beach was not as close as I was led to believe. Everything is in a 10 minute walking distance and we did enjoy our one night stay.

No ocean or beach view. The mini fridge was actually a wine fridge. The room was very clean, cute and comfortable. All my interactions were via text, even checking in, which to me was great! I would absolutely stay there again. There was a very short walk to the beach.

The only issue i had was that the lights outside the door shine through the frostwd window at top of door. Hard for me to fall asleep since I am accustomed to a dark room. A shade to darken would be helpful.

Parking was OK. The room overlooked the pool. The room was very very small especially the bathroom toilet and shower not ideal for a larger man. Great area nice landscaping nice pool would definitely stay again, but would look at a larger room hopefully with a larger bathroom.

Property was new and beautiful and very clean. Location was close to the beach, probably a 8 minute walk. They need to work on supplies, towels were not adequate for the number of guests, they were not delivered daily. We ran out of toilet paper and tissues and the body wash dispenser was empty. We had to repeatedly ask for all of this.

The room was clean and new. The location was perfect. However the shower was flooding the bathroom to the point where it was reaching the threshold into the room. I contacted the staff who sent a maintenace person. The said the shower was missing some kind of gasket. I also think it was not draining properly. I ask for more towels to contain the water but they did not bring enough . In fact they brought kess including no rags. By day 3 it was really. One time i called and the person at the desk was sort of rude saying they could check me out like i had somewhere else to ho. Finally a different maintenace guy showed up and was able to piece meal some stuff from other showers. It did not totally solve the problem but it was better. Finally later that night they brought sufficent towels but was leaving the next day. The whole experience just distracted from my vacation. I have text and pictures as that is how you interact with the desk. I would also recommend a microwave and a long mirror. Overall the place is nice but unfortunately my stay was not up to par because of the shower.

Our first visit to Siesta Key was amazing and the Azul Resort was the perfect spot to enjoy all the area has to offer. The cottage was newly renovated, fresh, clean and beautiful! Easy access to the local trolley. The management staff at Azul was responsive to every request and made our stay enjoyable!

This property has been completely redone inside and out! The decor was lovely, bedding and towels were great too. For me, the best part was that it smelled SO CLEAN AND FRESH when we walked in, which is hard to find in this area. Check in was a breeze, the pool was FABULOUS, and I will definitely stay here again!!!

The resort location was perfect, super close to the beach and by a few great restaurants. The pool area was inviting and clean, with a great ice maker. The beach chairs provided were comfortable and in good working condition. The room (117) was very clean and nicely decorated. A few adjustments would make the room excellent:

*slope of the shower floor - Basically, the shower was built in the corner of the bathroom and the floor doesn't slope toward the drain. So, every time we took showers, we ended up with a big puddle on the bathroom floor.

*black-out shade - The blinds were very nice, but our window was facing the pool, so the light came through the blinds all night.

This is a great place to stay and a wonderful location. Easy walking distance to the beach, the pool and local restaurants and bars. Brand new since the hurricane rebuild, so everything is in top shape. Staff are attentive.
Loungers by the pool or beach chairs available for the beach were also great.

Our only tip would be to avoid a unit that has someone above you, as some units are configured. People walking above us in the night kept us up. Otherwise, highly recommend.
