Property was beautiful and clean, direct access to the private beach. Very small, we had 2 adults and 1 teen, the room had a bed and a pull out sofa. The pull out sofa blocked the bathroom when opened. Parking was very tight and made getting your luggage into your room difficult. They also have about 6 2nd floor rooms that i was unaware of and ended up getting one, no elevator.Staff were excellent and helpful, bed was comfortable.

Love the private beach area
The service provided was phenomenal. Allowed us to store our luggage there early while we explored and even on the last day after checking out. Beach towels can be replenished as much as needed. Everything is close by.
The trolley was also helpful to get to the other side of the island.
The private pools at this location also super beautiful

This property was so nice! So close to the beach. Very clean. Good supplies for bathroom, kitchen, etc. Kitchen was great, although we didn’t need all that. Supplies in there were great. Bigger refrigerator than I thought we would have. Had a stove, utensils, plates, glasses, etc. It was said to be a studio. Small room but they decorated it so it didn’t so much appear that way. They had two pools but the one tropical one was great! I would definitely go back.

Excellent stay! The hotel was outstanding in every way. The beach was beautiful and easily accessible, making it perfect for a relaxing vacation. The staff was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The rooms and common areas were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The location was ideal, close to restaurants, shops, and local attractions. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I already miss being able to walk on the beach first thing in the morning or just before turning in for the night. I will definitely stay again if I go back to Sarasota. The room was adorable but I would say if you are traveling with a friend rather than solo or with a romantic partner you may find it too small. As I was by myself it was no big deal but if I had been with my friend or sister as I had originally planned I would have needed a larger room for more bathroom privacy

Property was nice and clean. Bed was comfortable . Beach was amazing and was a 5 min walk from the rooms. We had a really good time except for the reception of the staff when we arrived. We requested am early check in via messaging and phone-call 2 days before the trip. We were told room would be realy by 1 pm verbally by staff over the phone. When we got there the lady at the reception was not that friendly and told us sorry but room is not ready and that we have to wait . She gave us towels to use for the beach and pool ahead but we had big luggages that we were not comfortable changing in the public bathrooms so we ended up sitting in the benches in the heat while waiting for room to be ready. It was not a good first impression ad it stressed us out but after finally checking in we definitely enjoyed the rest of our time. We had an amazing family bonding . Siesta Key is beautiful place!

Although not in The Village, it's in a great location away from the large crowds and a short ride away via the free shuttle. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was small but clean and well equipped. The new pool area is beautiful, but the best thing is its proximity to the beautiful beach, just a 2 minute walk!

We had a great stay at the Tropical Beach Resort and will be back next year! The new pool was a big hit with my granddaughter and we loved the relaxed atmosphere and the easy walk to the beach. The ladies at the reception desk were always very welcoming with a smile and kind words. Our room was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Great place away from the crowded public beach. We can't wait to come back again.

Only complaint, if you are a late riser, it’s a little noisy starting in 7:30-8am with housecleaning carts. That can’t be helped. Front desk employees were thorough on the property amenities. Overall, a great value for a weekend trip

Book the trip! This place is clean and friendly. The room was clean and had everything we needed and more. The resort was so pretty and clean. Just park and enjoy the vacation. No need to drive everything is within walking distance. Have us the vibe of laid back beach days of the past. If you are looking for quiet, beautiful and fun place this is it by far. Poor experience at check in
Arrived at 11am (didn’t expect room to be ready) but I would expect to be allowed to park and maybe use the pool. I was told to come back at 330pm
I asked for advice on what or where I could go until then maybe thinking I’d be given some local ideas etc, I was just met with a shrug.
Came back at 330pm. Room not ready, finally was given key at 4pm.
Reception smelt of cigarettes, awful.
Room was clean, pool is lovely.
But I wouldn’t stay here again, customer service was poor, previous guests of our room had smoked outside and the stubs remained outside our room.
For the money we paid for a two night stay I’ve stayed on some amazing top resorts in Florida. This is more of a motel in my opinion. Other guests we met from the states seemed to love the place. However for ourselves we felt aside
From the pool it was a pretty low quality place, with poor customer service. Maybe you will love it. We didn’t. Family from UK.

I was quite impressed how nice and clean the room was and the property in general. Very convenient to the beach and the overall price I think, very comparable to others.
The trolley pickups nearby meant I parked the car and didn't have to get it out until we left. Would love to stay again. The beach was beautiful too
Cracker Curt restaurant nearby definitely not worth it though so don't make that mistake but to be clear, has nothing to be connected to the resort.

Been coming to this hotel for the past 6 urs. Sometimes more than once a yr. And this is my last time . Due to a security of the hotel who works at night called Will. According to Will, we couldn’t be outside of the hotel room past 10 pm. If so, we would have to go to the beach or local bar to talk. I went on those vacation to spend time with my family, not to go get drunk at a bar. Or having to go talk at the beach with small children where it was really dark at that time of the night. He even called us un responsable parents. Very disrespectful . Also he stereotyped is saying “you should go back to miami to party instead of coming here”. When he doesn’t even know where we were from. He would chase us. Even when we were seating at our front porch . He threatened us bu saying he was calling the police. Even kicking us out of the property if we wouldn’t go inside the room. He even said, if we don’t come back to the hotel, he was going to get paid the same, and other people would still come. This was a really bad experience. All I wanted to do was going back home the same day. And this is why im not coming back to Tropical Beach Resorts.

We had a fantastic stay at Tropical Beach Resorts in Siesta Key. The location couldn't be better — our suite was only about 300 feet from the beach access, which made trips to the sand and surf effortless.

The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Daily housekeeping was a nice touch — fresh towels, bed made, trash taken out — it made the stay feel effortless. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout.

Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again. Great value for a beachfront-style vacation.

Access to Crescent Beach section of Siesta Key was absolutely perfect. Simply walk from the room direct path to the beach. No driving required, such a plus. The staff were vrry friendly, informative, and accommodating. The King Suite was just right!! Overall a delightfully comfortable stay in Siesta Key.

Overall not my fav place to stay. Walls are paper thin- so make sure you book a top floor or a room with no one up top. Room was decent but very small. Bed was terrible .. I did not sleep for the 1st 2 nights because a group of 4 ppl were partying all night above us - 4 ppl to one room ?! Doesn’t seem to make sense when there is only one bed. Finally had it by the 3rd day to be told when asking if there was another room to move too that they are all booked up & sorry but nothing they can do.. Office staff are really not friendly - I think one lady was Lynn. The housekeepers were much nicer than the office staff-more down to earth..

Good thing about this property- you are walking distance from the beach with private beach access-literally the only plus I can walk away from this trip from..

We had one of our best vacations here! From check in to check out this place didn’t disappoint! The room was spotless when we arrived and the cleaning crew did a wonderful job when they touched up our room. The beach access was unbelievably easy! The only issue us and other guests talked about was more umbrella options at the smaller pool. There was only 1 by the loungers and one at a table. Both could have been tossed as they were tattered. With that being said we will be back next year for sure!

Overall, the stay was great and the property has an amazing location with excellent amenities. The beach and pool are literally steps away, which is what makes this place so enjoyable.

There were only two downsides during our stay. First, the TV in the room does not support WiFi or streaming services like Netflix, and the available channels are very limited. Normally this would not be a huge issue because most of your time is spent enjoying the beach and pool. However, on a rainy day when you may want to relax indoors and watch something, it can get pretty boring very quickly.

The second issue is not directly with the property itself, but with the beach umbrella and chair service associated with it. The service only operates from 9:15 AM to 5:00 PM, and at 5 PM the staff removes all chairs and umbrellas regardless of whether guests are still using them. Considering this is a paid service and not tip-based, I believe it should remain available later into the afternoon so guests can continue enjoying the beach comfortably.

Other than those two points, the place is excellent and I would still recommend it for the location and overall experience.

FYI, this is a motel, doors open to the outside. There is no soundproofing between rooms. There was a large group with kids next door that was playing loud music most of the evening. At 11pm we could hear a noise, possibly a door closing, every minute or two that kept us from falling asleep.

This resort is beautiful. The rooms are very cute and clean and updated. The beach is only a minute walk away and the sand and water is incredible. Cannot beat the location! They also have a new pool that is just awesome! Built by the famous Insane Pools! The staff are all very friendly and for our second stay at Tropical Beach Resort we were very much as happy as with our first!

Clean hotel with easy parking and great facilities. There were numerous areas to sit and grill, and rooms have a full kitchen as well. The property has two pools—one of them is brand new and absolutely gorgeous, with a true oasis feel. There’s also a walking path on-site that leads to a private beach, which was a huge plus. It’s a very easy drive to downtown Siesta Key as well. Would definitely recommend!

BEWARE! The pictures you see of the beach are not what you get. We were there for four days and two of them, the seaweed was a foot high, hot and smelly and went into the water so you couldn’t just step over it. I told the front desk, they said I was the first person to mention it (I find that VERY hard to believe) and the next day it was still there. I literally paid for the amenity to walk to the beach (like the one they had pictured) and we couldn’t even stand to be down there for two of the four days. We could have stayed somewhere inland for a cheaper price. I feel like we got ripped off totally. I tried contacting the manager twice and it’s been a week and he hasn’t returned my calls. There are plenty of other places to stay. Shop around.

The location to the beach was perfect- just be prepared to pay for umbrella and beach chairs, and you are not able to bring alcohol to the beach.
There are plenty of restaurants, a little market and shops within walking distance.
We utilized the free transit system to get into the village and access to other public beach areas.
The rooms were very nice, clean and efficient. The unit came with a full full size refrigerator and microwave.
The pool was also very nice.
