The whole stay was great. Staff amazing and friendly. Specially Grace and the pool bartender Lynn. Room was clean and had zero issues. The only thing I would have liked having was a safe in the room but other than that nothing. The one issue we did have was due to the people staying next to us. We had a connecting room. Since the hotel is a dog friendly hotel, which I am all for, we had a family next to us that left their yapping dog alone and it was 10:30 pm and it was barking at any noise. Then at 6am thw dog again started barking not allowing us to sleep. The staff was nice and offered to move us to a new room prior to notifying us that the people next to us where no longer staying at the hotel. Overall great experience.

There is no coffee maker in the room. They gave us 2 towels a day. We stayed in a handicap room and the refrigerator was on the floor. Limited countertop space. Breakfast was super low quality.

Had a dog barking ALL night next door. The occupant was out and the front desk (try as they may” could t get hold of the person with the dog.
Bed was sketchy, room was dormitory at best.

Central location to restaurants.
Easy access to Siest Key (just 7 minutes).
I enjoyed having a continental breakfast available daily.
The pool was very clean and seemed tobe well maintained.
Having food available on premises was great!
Front desk staff was in constant communication and took care of our special requests of a quiet room, extra pollows.
Pets allowed (although I did not bring mine on this trip).
Overall a good price range.

Not so much:
The air conditioner was way too loud. It was constantly turing on and off.
The finishes in the room (wall by the ironing board seemed to be unfinished) I am sure is not Hilton standard.
The bed was lumpy.
The vending and ice machine on the 4th floor had been removed.
The shower water temperature would change and get very hot in the middle of showering.
The room did not have enough storage (no drawers and not enough hangers-only 6)

Enjoyed our stay at Spark in Sarasota, but were somewhat disappointed by the small room and breakfast offerings. Not what we have come to expect from a Hilton Hotel. Also the air conditioner was very noisy. Note to future travelers, do not stay in a room next to an elevator unless you want to be bothered by late night talkers getting off the elevator.

Ka’nyjah was the most pleasant, beautiful young lady. She always greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. What an asset to have her at the front desk greeting people with her beautiful smile. The lady that puts the food out in the morning was bit rude and crappy Friday morning. Not pleasant or happy at all!

Unfortunately, two interactions during my stay significantly affected my experience and prevented what was intended to be a relaxing vacation from being restorative. Prices with the package is good. Not the best hotel to stay. Elevator dirty and the hallways. Couldn’t get out of the package if not I would’ve.

Three Restaurants are in walking distance and have really good Food.
The pool ist heated and big enough for the guests.
The bar is located wright by the pool.
The airconditioner has some functions, it doesent shut of when the temperture ist reached, the van continues.

The staff was great, going to the pool, we went once and they had the bar open, but when we went two other times it was closed. The continental breakfast was good.

The carpeted floor in the bedroom felt sticky, I took socks and by the time we left, the socks were so disgusting.

Would definitely stay here again. It’s an older place, but overall kept up well and rooms were clean. The pool area with bar was great! And there is a shuttle service into the village or to the beaches that is tips only so that is a nice service vs taking an Uber. Plus, Geckos restaurant is right there in the parking lot with huge outdoor bar and good food.

It was ok overall, but the have to clean the spiderwebs on the top of the elevator, the area where the ice dispenser is located is was plenty with folded boxes hide it behind the dispenser machine and the floor in this area needs to be clean. The carpet on the hallway and in the rooms needs to be replaced asap, it was dirty and got smell out of it...room was clean, staff very helpful. I do not have pics, but if you look at the camera, I point toward the top of the elevator...

Horrible stay. Everything was dirty. The glass doors in the lobby, the carpets were all stained and extremely dirty. The garbage cans were overflowing with trash. The front of the hotel was filthy. The main elevator right outside the lobby was filthy as well and had exposed wires. Our pillows smelled like sweat and there were dried up bookers on one of bath towel. The so called breakfast was composed of old, stale bagels and cold hard boiled eggs. There were more guests than bagels. The breakfast are tables were also filthy with dried jelly smeared all over, and the wonderful staff members tasked with maintaining the coffee area thought it was OK to close the cabinet doors with her dirty crocks that seemed like they had some day been white but now were the color of dirt. Needless to say that I had paid for two nights but left the very next morning.

Cons: Thin walls. Next door room was talking on the phone for hours after 10pm, we could hear everything she was saying. Breakfast sucks.

Do not stay here. Worst hotel we ever stayed in and had to check out early after 1 night. The rooms stink, the pillows stink. Just avoid at all costs. Pay the extra $30 to stay somewhere you can actually sleep and breath in.

Staff was great and the hotel itself wasn't terrible.

Only complaints would be limited options at breakfast (bagels, yogurt, cereal, hard boiled eggs). And the air conditioner in the room was loud it sounded like a plastic bag blowing in the wind.

The pool and pool bar were nice as well as the hot tub. There is a few restaurants within walking distance and a free shuttle that goes to siesta key.

If I come back I would stay here again.

The room was smaller than I thought when I originally booked it, but we loved this place. Bagels and cream cheese for breakfast was perfect, it's our favorite. It seemed room service was every single day and they were always cleaning making sure everything was great. We personally didn't use room service, but they kept it clean. The staff was very nice and welcoming. It was our first time in Florida, FINALLY, and we decided to stay an extra day for may 25, and they were able to add an extra day and stay in the same room! We didn’t use the pool, we were at the beach mainly, but the pool, drinks, and food truck looked amazing!!! I’m sad we didn’t use those! There’s lots of parking spots around the building and we always were able to park close to our room. The only downside for the room was the shower drain was not the best. I would stay here in Florida again, as the price and everything the room comes with is very reasonable and not overpriced. Thank you for having us, we will be back!!

Room had no drawers to place your clothes, bed pillows provided were extremely uncomfortable. Ice Machine on the 2nd floor was not working.

The pictures grossly misrepresent the facility. It is quite old, maintenance is so so, and the pool is poor. There is an outdoor entrance to your room from a long walkway, lile the Holliday Inns in the 50s. The same carpet that is outdoors in the walkway extends straight into your room. It is overpriced and is not consistent with the description on the website at all. If it hadn’t been for spring break, we would’ve stayed anywhere else. Taking advantage of spring breakers is something from the seventies which should be unacceptable now.

We happened to be there at LOVEBUG season, so they were Everywhere! The Hotel CLOSED the pool bar. So NO Happy hour or drinks available. The pool had lots of bugs in it. And the " HOTTUB"?? Very strange ( NO bubbles) NO Coffee maker in the room! NO Microwave either. NO Pool Towels.

The hotel was a great location for those that want to visit Siesta Key Beach... Much more affordable than most of the property rentals that physically border the beach... In addition the hotel is conveniently located across the street (Walking Distance) from major retail, banking, & grocery stores including Walgreens, Bank of America, Publix, Marshalls, Ross, Nordstrom Rack, Sephora, restaurant outlets such as Longhorn Steakhouse, Panera Bread, Five Guys, and Hooters... However, you will likely won't dine at any of those places as Siesta Key has many small restaurant businesses that are cute and have good food options, particularly the Seafood Restaurants (Fresh Fish) and Breakfast Spots. The continental breakfast was okay, the rooms are very clean, the pool is decent, however, the property areas to be a former motel in which Hilton renovated. The carpet that lies outside the building and infront of each hotel room is old and odd, plus the hotel elevator can use an upgrade. Love the warning about the Love Bugs inside the elevator. I think this property would be a better gem if the hotel had additional renovations, more alignment with transportation companies for guest travel options to the Sarasota-Bradention Int'l Airport if you are catching an early flight (Uber/Lyft seems remote at 4:00am in the morning). Other than the hotel exterior and transportation to the Airport, no complaints really... It served a purpose which was convenience and I had a beautiful time!

Once we checked in we went to our room and it was filled those lovebugs! I know this is season for them. But I feel they should try and clean all rooms even if they are occupied or not. They were all over the room! On the window, walls, bathroom and bed!!! It was definitely not a good impression of the hotel upkeep.

But there is a ride service offered at the hotel so that helped tremendously. We loved the pool and the pizza truck right outside. Super reasonable and delicious

The continental breakfast was simple but satisfying and included yogurt, fruit, and hardboiled (in the shell) eggs. Oranges were great (yes, it was in Florida).

The pool was very nice, away from the road and surrounded by nice landscaping, but sometimes ran out of towels.

The room was clean and in great condition. A broken soap dispenser in our shower was not fixed after we reported it. One "styley" lamp had a camouflaged switch it took me two days to find.

I can’t think of much good to say about this motel besides the 24/7 coffee available in the lobby and the pool was nice. The front desk staff was also very nice and accommodated any requests for new towels, sheets, etc. That said, the room was very dreary, old looking, and stale smelling and there was not even a safe in the room to store valuables. The towels had stains on them. The tv remote had awful connection to the tv so i had to click the button several times from several different angles to get it to work. The water pressure in both the sink and shower were terrible and there was an odd smell that came from the shower after we turned it on. There was “love bugs” all over the property which is out of their control bc they are all over sarasota, however, the door had gaps so several of the bugs entered our room. Also, the window of the rooms point directly out at the exterior hall so dont plan to ever open your blinds and get natural light in the room bc anyone walking past your room will clearly see into your window. House keeping did not do a good job at all. The bed was also hard as a rock. i had to stand in the shower to get the door to close in the bathroom bc it was so small and the lock didnt even work. The continental breakfast was just stale bagels, muffins, cereal, and oat meal and was all unappetizing. The speed bumps in the parking lot were violent at even just 2 mph. Dirty motel vibes and not what i expected from a Hilton. Idk why Hilton associates with this

We were very bothered by the noise from the air conditioner; it's very noisy at night. We don't like it because we're here to rest, and the noise is unbearable. The blanket has a very rough protector; it's impossible to sleep with it.
