It was just OK. Let’s face, the place is older and things are dated. The only thing that bothered me were these little microscopic bugs running around. I don’t know what they were, but I’m sure they were harmless and I didn’t call anybody about them.

Fantastic location able to walk to town, beach, restaurants and walking trails. Our unit met our needs perfectly with a living area, small kitchen bedroom and bathroom as well as outdoor balcony. Outdoor Pool and BBQ grills onsite as well as having beach supplies and bicycles available for use! We hope to return!

We loved this place!! We arrived late and the office was already closed, but we had no problems checking-in. The room was comfortable and spacious for the two of us (#10). There were plenty of linens for the bathroom and all the amenities we needed in the kitchen. The room was next to the pool, but we weren’t there during the day, so I can’t say whether it would have been noisy or not… It was quiet for us! Only issue I would say, was the parking. Not that they didn’t have plenty; the parking lot is tight, and a couple other patrons had larger vehicles parked on the property, which made it sketchy maneuvering in and out (but there was plenty of parking in front of the property and on the road though for those vehicles!). We felt safe, the property was well lit, the pricing was great and we’ll definitely be back!!

The staff was most welcoming. We were scheduled to arrive after office hours so they called us with instructions on how to enter our room. Parking can be tricky but as long as everyone follows the pattern, it's fine. The room was very cozy, clean and comfortable. The pool is very nice and well kept. They have everything from bicycles to spare coolers and even beach combing gear for guests to borrow daily. We enjoyed our stay at the Venice Villas very much.

I can’t say enough about the condition of the VBV’s. however I will say the one employee I engaged with three times was not friendly, interactions were ice cold and uncomfortable. We had a wonderful experience with Venice Beach Villas. The room was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for vacation. They even had bikes, beach chairs, laundry, and other items for us to use. We were pleasantly surprised because we didn’t know they would have so many things available when we booked. The pool was very clean, as was every other part of the villas. We loved it and will definitely stay again. It was walkable to all the restaurants, shops, and the beach. Also! They provided a helpful book of important information, things to do, menus from local restaurants etc. that was a great and welcoming touch. Loved it!

This was an awesome place to spend our Labor Day weekend! The room was so spacious and comfortable. The amenities that were available to borrow really made the trip much easier since we didn’t have to buy a bunch of extra beach supplies just for the trip. It was very easy to walk downtown for dinner and ice cream. We will definitely stay here again!

Old Florida Gem in center of town

My husband and I stayed for two nights at the lovely Venice Beach Villas this past weekend. We were so impressed with the full size fridge, stove top and micro. We could easily stay here a week comfortably. The Queen bed was comfy, the whole place was very clean and we had two tvs. The bonus was the nice balcony overlooking the pool which was also very clean and well maintained. We walked to downtown restaurants and the beach easily. This is an Old Florida gem that hasn't lost its sparkle. We will be back!

Be careful when booking on expedia. I included my wife and I, and our two 4yos, and it still let me a book a studio with only a queen bed which said it only sleeps two, but i obviously overlooked it because i assumed it wouldnt let me book a room that only sleep two when we have four of us.

A Gem in Venice

In Venice to relax for a few days post cruise and visit family in Sarasota. Due to Hurricane Helene, our previous motel had to cancel us; we happily found Venice Beach Villas. We had a very spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment, access to a gas grill and a lovely heated pool. There were also several cruiser bikes with helmets and locks that were available to use. Convenient to downtown; a 2 block walk. Across the street from public tennis and pickleball courts. Good communication from the office prior to our arrival which was two weeks after hurricane Milton. We would definitely stay here again!

I love the quiet and relaxing atmosphere and great pool.
This charming oasis is situated just steps from shops and dining options and an extremely enjoyable short walk to Venice Beach.
The Pavilion at the beach is a great place to grab a drink or quick lunch and people watch.
I love Venice Beach Villas and will return as often as I get the chance!

A little dated but still the best place to stay in Venice! It is great there is beach and shark tooth sifting equipment. The shark tooth sifters need to be redone so the zip ties are faced down on the bottom only - we got cut / stabbed several times by sharp edges sticking up while trying to sift.

Such a nice low-key place for my family. Quiet, secure, clean and near the beach. Certainly a bit older (I felt like I was in an episode of golden girls :) but clean, spacious, and everything in working order.
Front office staff was very helpful and friendly. They had cruiser bikes for use and strainers to find shark teeth at the beach.
Fantastic value for me and my family. Earlier in the week we stayed at a very high-end hotel in Orlando, however my kids all vote for us to go back to the Villas at Venice Beach should we go back to Florida.

Great location.

The property is in a very good location. Easy to get to restaurants and shopping in downtown Venice. The room that we stayed in is pretty basic. Barely a ‘fully’ stocked kitchen. Smaller refrigerator. No counter space. Small two person table. Some updates needed: tiny toilet, scalding shower, lumpy bed.

Being honest I’m indifferent concerning our stay. The location is perfect to be walking to shops, restaurants and sightseeing. Which is the reason we tried Venice Beach Villas. However, the units themselves are tiny and outdated. Our unit had a mildew smell that was very strong. I have an allergy to mold n mildew and first night my eyes swelled almost shut. You could not sit anything on the counter, when we arrived we found ants all over and consequently threw the coffee, sugar and creamer they left for us away. Hot water took a very long time and very little water pressure. It’s located in a beautiful area no matter.

Nice property to stay in Venice

Very nicely cared for property, clean, comfortable and nice amenities in rooms like comfortable beds, soft towels, nice kitchen utensils.
What needs to be replaced is the microwave as it's from the dark pages and is absolutely not used friendly. Also, there needs to be one handicap parking spot in the parking lot.
Overall the staff was very helpful and friendly and would recommend to other travelers.

Great location within waking distance to Venice Beach’s shopping and dining district. Also within walking distance to beach. We had a studio room and it was clean and comfortable. They have a nice pool which I intended to use but never got to try it. They provide coolers and beach chairs and other things for you to borrow for the beach. They also have a complete binder in the room that provides lots of info on the area and local dining. It’s not a “luxurious resort” but if you are looking for a nice, clean place that is affordable, then Venice Beach Resort is perfect for you. When you are on vacation you don’t spend much time in your room anyway…there is too much exploring, swimming, shopping, and eating to do! We hope to be back!

Clean, quiet convenient friendly!

A small quiet facility close by some of the most beautiful FL beaches. It is SO clean and well-maintained and the staff very friendly and helpful. So many thoughtful and free amenities-grills, beach chairs, shark teeth sifters, bikes, books, etc. There was also a very informative and helpful guidebook-something rarely seen these days, but much appreciated. Walking distance to downtown and a beach too.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Villas. We will definitely stay again. Room was spacious and very clean. The pool was nice and clean, the lounge chairs were in great shape and comfortable. They had bicycles you can use to get around (which we did). It's in a great location in Venice. Wonderful spot for a getaway or family vacation.

This place is amazing! It has everything you need from a comfy bed, two televisions so you can watch in the living room or in bed, large shower, plenty of towels, a full albeit compact kitchen, dining table, everything you need for beach including bikes and coolers, great pool, outdoor shower, electric car charging port, and wonderful staff!
