Staff was very low. I was not advised that my purchased room was unavailable until check-in. I was given a non-smoking Jacuzzi room. When I arrived to the room, there was a fresh smell of cigarette smoke. There was no remote for the television. The toilet was constantly running. There were also burn marks on the toilet seat. As mentioned I was given a Jacuzzi room…. There was no running hot water in the Jacuzzi.

This was absolutely a terrible stay.

The room was clean, the air conditioner didn't work instead of blowing hot air it blew cold air we had it sat on 90, the tub was cracked and when you sit on the toilet it rocks. The office staff was professional and nice, the rooms just need small repairs. No bugs in the room neither and the location is convenient.

When I first arrived, I noticed no desk. I should have looked at the pictures closely because I usually use the desk to use my laptop and eat, but this time, I did not bring my laptop, so I would eat sitting on the bed. I also thought it was strange, but the fan was off for a day when it was 90 degrees Fahrenheit outside. No problem. I turned it to cool at 72 and went to get some food and grocery shop.

An hour later, I came back and the room was cool. When I sat on the bed, it had springs for the mattress, and it was uncomfortable. I have been at five hotels lately, and none had such an uncomfortable bed. I was displeased but thought I could deal with it for one night.

The room was clean, and the refrigerator had a small freezer that could hold a regular apple. It was about 10 inches wide without a door. The refrigerator cooled my two liters of pop overnight.

Later at night, I wanted to bathe and noticed they only had one bar of hotel soap. No shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. If you are planning to go here, bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and lotion if you plan to use them. The bath had a crack on the front, lower right. I paid less for the room, but the quality was lacking. I filled up the bath, but did not notice the level of water was lower, so I assume it was not leaking, but I would not be sure.

It was summertime, and the clientele was loud, yelling at each other at night, and making pounding noises late at night.

The attendant at the counter is very very rude. He doesn’t want to do HIS job whatsoever. The customer service is what brings the stars down dramatically. Everything was pretty much cool except for the tub in the bathroom and the fact I paid for a non smoking room and got a room with an ashtray and ut smelled like someone literally just got done smoking in the room. I would’ve chalked it all up but, the customer service alone made it a bad stay for me

It was an average motel. Despite us having a dog, they put us on the second floor. The staff was kind of rude and more interested in the conversation they were having with each other than with getting us checked in. Wasn’t a welcoming experience. Might have been a later than normal check in, but they could have at least been kind about it. By contrast the morning person was delightful.

Asked for a room downstairs and told they didn’t have any left, but I just figured they only had so many for online, bec they sure had more than half of the property was empty! Get to room and the Heat doesn’t work, immediately offered to change rooms ( still on second floor 😂) next room was fine and front des called to check and make sure everything was ok! Didn’t like the fact they started knocking on my door an hour before check out, did it twice! Also very low water pressure! But overall I would stay again for the price!

Handicap people should not stay here

I went to check in the room I booked. I was asked if I had a pet I said I have ADA certified medical seizure alert dog. I was told I couldn't have that room because I have a pet. I tried to explain my dog is a medical device protected by federal law. The man did not know about the law and denied to give me my room. I have to drive around looking for another room after an 8 hr straight drive. Very unhappy. We will be filing a law suit due to that fact they violated federal law.

Hidden deposit asked for at the hotel!!

There is another $50 that had to be paid on the spot as a \"deposit\" which is crazy since they are poasessuon of my credit card. I didnt feel like arguinf about it im supposed to get that back in 5-7 days but they dont tell you about before booking. I'll be back to let you know if i have to fight to get my money back.

Easy access, park the car in front of the room, able to move belongings into the room easily. However, I booked the king bed but I got double bed instead. I went to check with the front office. He said the room was sold out so they decided to change the room. It would be handling better if he mentioned about it since checking in. The room has smell. Fortunately, I got a room spray in my car. The lock did not work, the chain didn’t have any chain rail for it. We did try to open from the outside. Thanks God ~ the door cannot open from the outside without a card. There is no toiletries just soap. Towels are not enough for 2 people, even when booking I mentioned 2 guests stay at the property.

This is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The beds were terribly uncomfortable, the bathrooms had mold in the showers and the front desk staff was awful. They argued with me that i hadn't booked 2 rooms, when in fact I showed them proof where I had. Then the man proceeded to argue with me that he wouldnt honor the price because i booked through expedia and not directly through the hotel. I would give them negative ratings if that were possible. Hotel 6 is a JOKE, very disappointing and very unprofessional!

We checked in and asked for an extra pillow and were told they did not have any. Going to our car we realized how much litter was on the lawn and parking lot. It was not inviting at all. The room STUNK. There was no comfortable chair to sit and work at a computer. There was only one night stand and lamp. We opened the night stand drawer to find a TV schedule. Instead, we found a bloody cotton swab. No TV schedule was ever found. The bathtub has no anti-skid mat or strips and I slipped while in the shower. The workers were congenial but the manager seemed disgusted that we brought SOME of these observations up to him. We will not be using this motel again.

We stopped here because we had a 17 hour drive and had driven over 10 for the day so we stopped to rest for the night.
While I understand this is a no frills type of establishment, certain things should be standard. Like cleanliness and working items. Our room reeked of smoke (there was an ashtray in the room), the heat did not work, the sheets were threadbare in spots and the comforter had several holes. We didn't even want to undress to sleep because we worried about bugs. We did not see any but the room was gross. The bathroom has an extremely low toilet seat of which neither of us sat on based on the unclean appearance of the room. We did not feel comfortable showering there in the morning so we didn't and waited to shower after we finished our 7 hour trek home. The best part about it is the location to dining. Several fast food type spots and some sit down restaurants along this corridor however most close at 10pm. We did enjoy Waffle House which is adjacent to the property.
We will not stay here again.

No shower and no electricity.

Upon arrival, we had no towels in our room. When I asked for some at the front desk, the attendant gave me just 2 small hand towels and said that he couldn't get into the locked laundry room. Fine, I guess.

Later, when getting into bed for the night, I noticed that the blanket was littered with cigarette burns. I also discovered that the main light switch for the overhead room lights, also controlled the electricity for the bedside table lamp and outlets. There was no way to use the lamp or the outlet without having the overhead lighting on.

In the morning, my wife called me into the bathroom to let me know that the shower wouldn't turn on. I asked about the shower and the front desk clerk said it was a pull-out style valve. I pulled the handle so hard that the plastic shower wall flexed with it, but no water. Also, the electircal outlet near the vanity didn't work at all.

Relatively minor, compared to the water and electrical problems, but the TV only received a handful of channels and the picture was so bad as to be unwatchable. We asked for a non-smoking room but our room reeked of old smoke.

I know that no one expects luxury from Motel 6, but a working shower and working electrical outlets shouldn't count as luxuries for $60+ dollars per night.

For a motel that provides very basic accommodation, our stay was comfortable and safe. Pillows were soft. Water pressure was good. The room felt clean. Although there's no fridge or microwave in room, for a family that's just passing thru that only needed a place to rest, it is overall still an excellent stay. Love that there's waffle house and mcdo next to the property so you don't have to drive far for food.

W what I did not like was toilet was not firmly secure to tile floor. The door looked like someone had kicked it in before. The bathroom was very very small only a small person could use it comfortably. One one good thing about it was the person who is in charge of registering us, was courteous and did his best to accommodate us.
