Amazing hotel with the kindest staff that goes above and beyond to make you happy! Hotel is modern and beautifully decorated. We didn't get to use the pool as it was already chilly but the area looked amazing! The views from our terrace - to the port and the water - were incredible!!! Rooms on a smaller side, so if you like more spaciousness, choose a suite... otherwise and for 3 days we were there - it was totally worth it.. and we had an option to move to the suite (from our Junior suite), but we looked at it, and stayed with our smaller room, but amazing views!!! Highly recommend and would return in a heart beat when and if I'm back to Ios!

Paradise is Ios

Liostassi is an absolute dream! The views were incredible, the food was divine, but what made this trip even more wonderful were the staff members. They took care of us and made us feel special. The hospitality shown is unmatched to any other hotel we've stayed at.

Grandma's kitchen had a simple menu but delicious options. Well worth the price. The breakfast was fresh every day, and you can sit and eat while you look at the gorgeous view.

The rooms were clean, and the bed was super comfortable with many options for pillows, which was helpful for a sore neck from traveling. The room was filled with little surprises for us, too!

It was in between 2 walkable towns, Chora and the Port, which made it very easy to explore.

This was well worth the price and I would HIGHLY recommend this paradise.

A beautiful hotel, very aesthetically pleasing. The attentiveness of the staff was pleasing & the really friendly housekeeping team too. I would say the panoramic room with sea view is very small. The bathroom is rather bijoux, if you were of larger stature you might struggle to move about in it !
If you prefer to have space I would recommend the superior suite with sea view (these rooms have more comfortable beds).
We ate in grandmas restaurant and had the tasting menu which was delicious. The breakfast here is fantastic.
We really enjoyed the location of the hotel for walking up to Chora- nightlife area and definitely enjoyed all the walking trails that you can get to easily from the hotel.

If I could give this property 10 stars I would. Exceptional service from the complimentary pick up to check in. We had our room upgraded which was a bonus. The views of IOS are unbeatable. Grandma’s restaurant deserves a 5 star review also. Just amazing! The hotel location is super convenient, walkable to the main town. Highly recommend! I will be back again!

Our stay at the LIostasi Hotel in Ios, was nothing but perfect. The accomodation was first class, the property was spotless, the food (breakfasts and lunches) was 5 star, the facilities were great (the pool and lounges) are magnificent but most of all the people were amazing. Always helpful, always smiling, always friendly. During our stay the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable, really a part of their family.

If one is looking for relaxation and a 10 star experience with little pretension I would recommend Liostasi.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the main town (Chora) and ti the port. The hotel is chic qnd nicely decorated, the pool and bar are nice with a wonderful view. You can see the sunset from the pool and room balcony.
The staff helpful with tips, directions and to arrange vehicle rentals.
We have to leave before breakfast time due to early ferry and the staff arrange breakfast for us anyway. Nice detail!
My only recommendation would be to have a hot jacuzzi because blth pool and jacuzzi were cold. Also to add a desk to the rooms if guest need to work/ study/ use laptop.

They helped us with our ferrys and any other queries. Had my first massage here and was a lovely experience. Breakfast buffet was delicious with extra menu items available. Room was lovely with a great view from our balcony. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend.

Hong kong sized bedroom, but everything else great

We had a standard room which was tiny with an equally small bathroom that barely allowed one person to comfortably use. Huge balcony though which almost made up for in excess space. I would expect more interior real estate from a five star hotel in arguably a lower priced Greek island. Grounds and facilities were beautiful and excellent. Thry literally have a maintenance staff scrubbing the exterior walls to ensure the pristine white look. Some staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Overall a great luxury option for one of the lesser known destinations.

The look and feel is modern and beautiful, it’s well maintained and the staff in the morning was very nice.

However there were a few things for a 5* that for us wasn’t up to par.

For one under the bed was filthy, the rooms were clean but it looked like underneath had not been cleaned in quite sometime, second the bees and flies at breakfast were annoying, so annoying that a couple left. I know this isn’t the property’s fault but still they should manage it better.

Lastly the hotel knows the number of nights you’re staying, we were staying for just 1 night and arrived in the afternoon, so to wait over 30 min to get your room was disappointing for us as we wanted to make the most of our stay.

However the staff was kind, the grounds were clean, and beautiful.

I didn’t stay at the hotel but I reserved and paid it full but since I got pregnant, and almost had a miscarriage at the begging, my doctor did not authorize me to travel, they didnt accept a postpone trip, even for a low season. They were not helpful at all, on the emails and when I called to ask if I could go even if I miss just one night, they said after I missed one night, the entire stay is cancelled. So here my advice, if you are planning to go, make sure you are going on the dates you planned because there is 0 flexibility and 0 refund even if you are sick or lost a relative.

I have never felt so special in my life!! I felt like royalty during our entire travel experience w/ them. It started at the moment they emailed me to confirm our pick up from the ferry until the moment they dropped us back!

The staff were so attentive and hard working. We saw the same staff that served us @Grandma's for dinner (btw absolutely excellent food) serve us @breakfast. The minute we sat down by the pool a gentleman came to offer to open our umbrella if the sun was too bright. So thoughtful! All the staff were so happy, nice, smiling & so so caring!

I felt that every single thing @this hotel was very thoughtful and beautiful. All seating, from the chairs to the lounges, were stylish but extremely comfortable. The art was placed in just the right spots & made the hotel look great. The design of the hotel was luxurious, clean, & modern.

The breakfast buffet was divine & there was even an a la carte menu which was included!! At night it was a bit chilly so they gave us blankets so we could stay warm & watch the beautiful sunset (THE BEST view)!

The room was petite but they use the space wisely and it was very very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean & modern, the balcony was large & relaxing.

I give this place a 200%!!

The property was beautifully decorated and perched on a hill about the port. The pool area was awesome with lots of comfortable chairs and an amazing pool with excerpts from the Odessey placed around it. The front desk staff was awesome and cordially moved our room when the winds made our corner room very noisy.

Amazing hotel! I don't want to tip everyone off so I can get good rates, but I can't help it. I am a Greek who has been to the islands many times. My fiance is an American event planner who books and stays in hotels as often as as anyone I know. The staff is the epitome of good Greek hospitality. We were blown away by the level of the facility and service. 5 stars hands down. The restaurant served us an incredible 8 course meal with local ingredients and perfectly paired wines. BTW, the menu is designed by a Michelin rated chef. You can't lose at Leostasis. The attention to detail on the hotel itself and the high level of service was impeccable. This is a slam dunk.

Amazing food, amazing cocktails, great staff. The only thing that could have improves our experience even more is if they had done something special for us, since we had just gotten engaged the day before our arrival there. I had also accidentally booked this hotel for an extra free nights and was unable to cancel that reservation. The staff had done nothing to help with this, or to make the situation better somehow.

If you come to Ios stay no where else but at Leostasi!!! My wife and I rearranged our whole itinerary during our Honeymoon just to make it to this hotel during it's last 3 days of operation before it closed for the season. From the time we were picked up at the port the experience has been amazing! The hotel is one of the most beautifully designed properties we have ever been too. A lot of thought went into all of the tiny details. From the hotel pool and bar with an amazing view of the sunset perched high above the port, to Grandma's restaurant. Delicious food! We stayed in the suite with the private pool and loved every second of it. Definitely worth the money. You will also love the bathtub which is made to overflow onto the floor. :) This hotel is a family run business and if you are lucky, you will get a chance to meet Mrs. Despina Denaxa. My wife and I took a cooking class from her to learn how to prepare some traditional Greek foods and it was such a pleasure. Through our translated conversation, we learned that Mrs. Despina has owned the hotel for 20+ years and has been slowly upgrading it every year. She is hip, cool, and has great taste. You will easily be able to agree once you stay at this property. We travel the world extensively and stay at some of the best hotels. This property will forever be in our memories :)

I had no expectations when I booked Liostasi and was blown away at the service and hospitality they showed us and everyone who was staying at the hotel. Their amenities area is a huge open concept that includes pool, umbrella chairs, lounging, sunset views over the port, bar, outdoor movie theater, spa, and restaurant. We didn't even want to go out and explore the island on the first day, we just stayed at the hotel. We would definitely come back if given the opportunity and bring some friends.

Positive first; the staff, restaurant, and location were perfect along with the pool area.

My room was horrible. It looks nothing like the photos online. Literally like another hotel in the pictures. My bathroom was tiny. It was very windy and the room banged like I was on a ship. Honestly didn't get much sleep the night I stayed there due to the noise and how hot it was in the room (the AC also didn't work).

Unfortunately, I wouldn't stay here again due to the photos being a \"bait and switch\". It's not the same hotel shown online...

The rooms were very unique, comfortable and well appointed. Each room had a private patio with lounge area. The rooms had a private sharing pool. Both the private sharing pool and main pool were breathtaking with negative edge pools. The complimentary breakfast was terrific. Walking distance to the port and the Town and short bus ride to Mylopotas beach.

This property gets my 1st Place Vote of all hotels during our 2 week vacation in Greece. From check-in, which was more like a super welcoming orientation, to condition of the room, the view from the pool/dining area, to the quality of breakfast (truly amazing), excellent internet signal in our room, plentiful parking, out of their way friendly staff (they actually called us by our names the entire stay)...

Add this hotel's fantastic location within 5 minutes walk of the village (and only 5 minutes drive from the ferry terminal, if you enjoy fast driving on a winding road - I do!) plus one of the best dinners prepared by an acclaimed chef, and you have a recipe for the perfect vacation stay on this very, very fun island of Ios. Wish we could go back there tomorrow...

Absolutely flawless

We stayed 4 nights at Liostasi and have been blown away by our experience. The hotel itself is state of the art, the food and drinks are exceptional and the hospitality from the staff are amazing. The hotel is 3 minutes from the port and town and about 5 minutes to Myolopotas beach by bus which conveniently picks you up and drops you off from the hotel every 15 minutes. The location is great as it is out of the bustle and tardiness of the town and young partiers but at the same time so close to everything.
Thank you again and we hope to see you again from Australia!

Relaxed 5 star hotel - the perfect balance

We had a fantastic 5 night stay here after our wedding. The staff were helpful but never intrusive. The room was clean with a fantastic view of the sunset and the port - very addictive for just sitting and watching the world go by.
We were impressed with the breakfasts and the day to day variety within them.

We will definitely be back

5 star accommodation, staff and ambience

Stayed at Liostasi for two nights on a quick friends trip to Ios (one couple and two friends) in two rooms. Everything about this hotel was great! The view, the pool, the food, the location close to town, 700 or so metres to be exact and 5/10 minutes to the beach. Categorically the vibe of the place is fabulous - one slight negative is the size of the rooms, but didn't matter as we hardly spent any time in them. We unfortunately didn't get a chance to eat at their restaurant Grandma's (which is run under the management of a Michelin star awarded head chef), but judging by the food we got at lunch and for breakfast it would be great - all the food we consumed at Liostasi was outstanding. The Hotel Manager Minas, what a legend! Very friendly, knowledgeable on all things Ios and so so accommodating - all the staff were great from the ladies at reception, all the wait staff and our favourtie barman Christos (AMAZING cocktail maker). I highly recommend Liostasi and will absolutely stay again. Thank you Liostasi for a lovely couple of days!

We only stayed one night but wished it was more. It's a beautiful hotel and the staff were outstanding. Great walk-in shower and comfortable bed. Pool and lounge chairs were fab and the view...!
The walk into town is uphill but it's not bad at all. There is a bus stop right outside which will take you down to the beach if you want a change from the pool.
By far the best breakfast we had in Greece.
Expedia had messed up on another booking we had made and I mistakenly replied to Expedia's request for a review of checkin at Liostasi with negative comments. The hotel replied almost immediately that they were concerned and wanted to speak to me about it. I was horrified because The Liostasi had checked us in like we were royalty and I was upset with myself for making this mistake.

This hotel was phenomenal. We didn't expect to be picked up at port yet they did. The same owner owns a travel agency right by the port where we were able to get advice, maps, and a rental car.

The hotel staff went out of their way to make us happy and overall we were just completely blown away. There is no better place to stay at Ios.

Beautiful everything except employees

Family run boutique hotel staff were robotic and seemed putout with requests such as pool towels or breakfast prior to 830 am and not a second before. Excellent breakfast of traditional Greek goodies. Outstanding massage however only 10 minutes were permitted to shower prior to service. Room was private and really comfortable with top of the line bedding. Not a typical USA spa hotel
