Wonderful family, Oskar and his wife and their three sons. Hardworking, caring, and honest. The food was very tasty. Lovely loft room - clean and well equipped. Maria kept it neat and tidy and well presented every day - thank you. We have loved our time in Kefalonia. Would recommend hiring a car to visit places such as Assos, Fiskardo and Sami plus the beautiful beaches along the way. Try and see the turtles too in Argostoli harbour near the fishing boats.

Oskars was wonderful. Beautiful place, views, pool, and great food. Convenient to everything we wanted to do. Our only complaints were the towels were air dried outside, so a little rough, and the shower was a bit small with a curtain that wanted to blow inwards! Otherwise, we highly recommend Oskars. The staff was friendly, helpful, and spoke great English.

Lovely Greek family apartments in great location.

A proper friendly Greek family business run with care and thoughtful consideration.
Simple, clean and all you need. Kitchen very basic and not really for eating in every night, but who wants that?
Lovely location with access to coast and 5 minutes to the main town. Airport only 15 mins away.
Loved everything about it. Kefalonia a beautiful place.

A gem in kefalonia

We absolutely loved our stay. The brothers who run it are so helpful and friendly, the apartments are perfect. Love that guests leave sun cream, hair spray, toiletries, oskars have a box for other guests to help themselves (all hotels should do this). The restaurant food is stunning I had the best gyros I’ve ever tasted!! Nice 15 min walk into lassi. We rebooked for next May before we left (loved it so much) thank you for making us so welcome 🤗

We loved our stay at Oskar's. Beautiful grounds and lovely pool. The location was perfect. Short journey to the airport. Easily walkable to lovely beaches and an easy walk into Argostoli. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

A great week at Oskars!

We just got home from Kefalonia and a great week staying at Oskars! Our studio apartment was lovely and comfortable with a great view. The family were very friendly and welcoming, and the three brothers Makis, Costas and Yiannis went out of their way to make our stay comfortable - thanks guys! The pool is great and the food at the restaurant is fantastic. I would highly recommend Oskars, and we hope to return soon. Thanks all at Oskars!

Hotel was excellent all around, nice pool with view of ocean, room and balcony great view , clean and neat, housekeeping came in every day, owners were very friendly and helpful….. provided maps and insights into sights to visit……
Quiet and location to port, center , and some great beaches were close……
I will return…… never had a chance to sample restaurant( hotel was closing for season)………
I recommend without reservation….

We enjoyed our stay at Oscar’s Studios. The room was small but functional. The balcony view was fantastic. We enjoyed having our breakfast and evening wine out there. It was conveniently located to town, restaurants and several beaches. Would recommend.

This is a great place to stay! It's very friendly, very clean, has great food, and a small infinity pool. It's a €20 taxi from the airport but if staying for a week+ I would hire a car. There is a path to the left of the hotel that's a bit steep but you can walk to the center of Agostolli in 20 minutes. There are quite a few beaches within walking distance as well.

Booked last minute- nothing was to much trouble taxi booked to pick me up at the airport only 15 min to Oskars. It was my First time to the island.

Wonderful studio apartment with sea view balcony- even on the ground floor.

The surroundings are beautiful full of flowers and plants. Oskars garden is perfect and quite.

Infinity pool was always immaculate and plenty of sun beds available.

The restaurant is perfectly situated for sunset and the food was the best I had on the island.

Recommend- the frappés , homemade ice cream and most of the menu for that matter…

I rented a car with the help of the hotel for 3 days very easy and was dropped to the apartments and picked up again.

The family are lovely and I felt very safe as a solo female looking to relax for the week.

There is a beautiful beach less than 10 mins walk and I recommend the peninsula sunset walk up to the Lighthouse and into Argostoli.

I would definitely recommend this place and miss it already.

Oskars is absolutely spotless! The apartments are fantastic value and give you everything you need, incl Wi-fi , AC and great views. The staff and management are extremely friendly and helpful. If I had to give one negative and being really picky.. it needs a small poi but to be fair the beach is only a 5 min walk away. Oh and the food is great in the restaurant too !

The property and location within Lassi was perfect BUT the sewers is right next to it so the smell was unbearable! It would wake us up in the night because we didn't want to breathe. The sulfur treatment was very strong and we couldn't wait to run and have our meals elsewhere (big issue since we chose self catering). The bathroom was extremely small. Barely space to shower or turn without the loo or shower curtains being in the way. Such a shame because the place and people were lovely.

The hotel is in an isolated area you definitely need a car to get around and to no fault of the hotel the sewerage smell in the area of Lassi was horrible we couldn’t wait to leave.

The welcome on arrival from the owner makis was so lovely. We arrived at 11.30 pm and travel weary. He immediately brought us 2 glasses of lovely white wine while to did the check in
The view from the appt over the sea in ths morning was fantastic and the appts were spacious and immaculately clean. The airconditioning and safe were free and we were also provided with an iron free of charge. The adjoining restaurant is excellent and we ate there 3 times in our 2 week stay.

Beautiful views from our balcony (3rd floor), staff very helpful and very friendly. Lovely surroundings: cactus, lemon trees and many more. Nice and quiet. The one thing we did not enjoy as much was that the bathroom in our room was very small and didn't have a hook for the shower head so had to hold it while showering.

The grounds,restaurant, staff and area were excellent beyond expectation.
Our room was clean however a bit dated. Washroom and beds need some upgrading.
Restaurant food was amazing as well as the staff serving.
Overall a great experience.

Family fun in Kefalonia

A lovely place to stay. Felt like part of the family. Most requests were handled without an issue. Room was basic but very clean and more than up to the task. What you expect for the star level. Lovelt gardens all around and some play things for kids. Definitely suggest a car rental in Kefalonia as a long walk up to the main strip with the restaurants and all nice beaches and attractions are further afield!

I stayed in studio 1. There wasn't any privacy as all guests had to pass by my studio. The mattresses were awful and need replacing. There was also a damp problem. I also couldn't connect to the internet so had to use the restaurant connection, which meant staying outside. Disappointing stay.

Very basic, sub par for North American standards

Just very minimalistic amenities.not enough towels, a bit far from city center.. remote location, definitely need to rent a car. Roads are very dangerous to walk on.

Oskars is a very good base with plenty of parking, and the staff really are excellent. Its a good 15 minute walk into Lassi centre so perhaps not suitable for the elderly or less mobile but it wasn't a major problem to us. Rooms not huge & storage space it at a premium but they are clean, quiet & nicely decorated. The included aircon was much appreciated. Views from the 1st and 2nd (top) floor are panoramic across the water to Lixouri, but ground floor rooms have little privacy from other guests walking past to access their own rooms. The main problem with the rooms is the poor self catering facilities. A fridge, a kettle, a (only partly working) plug in hob unit & a sandwich maker(!) is about it. There was very little cutlery room & no knife for cutting bread. I have to say it didn't bother us too much but if you intend to do any real self catering maybe Oskars isn't for you. Also the shower is tiny - if you are of more ample build you'll find the shower curtain (a rarity in Greek accommodation!) sticking to your body. The whole bathroom ends up getting wet but this is pretty standard with Greek accommodation. We are experienced travellers within Greece so it wasn't an issue to us but Greece newbies might be bothered by it.
There is a restaurant at Oskars and the food here is extremely good - a cut above your average Greek taverna. It is pricier than the norm but the quality and presentation means it is worth the extra.
Overall though a very good place stay.

Lovely Sea Views

Great location, welcomed by Makis who was very friendly and informative. Location was great with stunning sea views.
Room with balcony, chairs and tables to use both front and rear, so you can catch (or rest from) the sun whatever time of day!
Great restaurant on site. You have to be creative to cook in room, but achievable. A swimming pool would have been appreciated, but loads of beaches nearby.

Overall, a great place to stay and will be returning and would recommend to others.

Excellent base for exploring Argostoli area

We had a gap between our villa bookings and found these excellent studios with breathtaking views across to Luxori. The peninsula has some excellent coastal walks and the restaurant attached to the studios is just perfect. An unexpected bonus to our split villa holiday. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a few nights at the start or end of their holiday. Conveniently located near Argostoli and the airport. If you are ever staying in the Sami area, then the restaurant is definitely worth a visit in its own right. A very warm and friendly family run business.

Beautiful accommodation in lovely settings.

Cant fault the accommodation at all.all the family are so friendly and even invited us to their grandaughters baptism...taking us with them and bringing us back for the celebrations.that is something we will never forget.the only negative thing for us was that the location was a very long walk from any other bar even though the setting was fabulous.we arrived on the 18th of april for 3 weeks but all the bars in lassi were closed and remained so for 2 weeks.next time we will arrive later.

Just had a Lovely week in Lassi at Oskars , beautiful location, views from our room just perfect. Studios lovely and clean, and nice gardens too. We ate a few nights at the restaurant at Oskars , the food was really good! The best we had all holiday, fresh and delicious, good menu and lovely restaurant. This family run place is a fantastic base to stay, away from the main road and bars etc but near enough to walk toall amenities. Lovely friendly family and we would go back there for sure.

Beautiful location \"IN SEASON!\"

My husband and I stayed here as a wedding anniversary treat. Our plan was to use it only as a base and to tour the island during the days. The idea was to have breakfast at the hotel and an evening meal on our return without having to travel-sadly, that was not to be. The only specification I made was for a double bed - We had 2 singles! and the mattresses were not that comfortable. Although I was not influenced by the \"soundproofed rooms\" they certainly were not at 6am every morning when the workmen living below us all left for work! If you stay there out of season - take plenty of warm clothes as the room heating is not sufficient.

Friendly owners and staff, offering clean rooms and a good restaurant. The only \"negative\" is that the rooms are in front of a beautiful, terraced farm -- the farm is easy on the eyes, but their two roosters do start their morning calls at 4:30am -- tough if you've been having dinner on Greek time and getting to bed at 1:00am! But we put our earplugs in on nights two and three and got our needed rest. Would gladly return there if we go to Kefalonia again.

Value for money studio and 'Masterchef' meals

Great value for money.Spacious for two. Big veranda with sea view an added bonus. Made for a very relaxing and comfortable week. Have been in many 4* hotels at 3 times the price and been cramped with no decent veranda or view.

Family, very friendly and talented in their various ways. 4 out of 5 are chefs with the youngest regarded as the most talented. Hence, Oscars is the best restaurant in this area at least - 'Masterchef meals at pub prices' is the slogan I would use. We ate there 4 times in 7 [5 if you count their 'sister' restaurant in Lassi, Amvrosia, run by the father and one of his 3 sons, which was of the same standard]. Two other meals in 'Butlers', Lassi and in the square in Argostoli were not in the same league [and more expensive]. Take it from me and a young couple who made the 15 minute walk [2 minutes by car - big car park] along the Fanari road from Lassi that you will not be disappointed in any aspect of this restaurant [I almost forgot to mention the sea view by day and the lit up Lixouri coast at night which is both relaxing and romantic].

family owned,,if your looking for a hyatt like forget it,,,but if your down to earth, what a joy,,,even enjoyed the challenge of small shower,,,unit very clean,,comfy bed,,,owners most helpful,,,get this!! fabulous grounds all kinds of fruits and flowers, and i was invited to pick all the pomegranates i wanted,,oh yeah, awesome sea view from your balcony

Quiet and nice bed and breakfast

We liked the hotel in general. Nice and clean rooms, beautiful garden. Also great to have morning coffee on the balcony, looking out at the sea and the other side of the island near Lixuri. All rooms are sea-view. The restaurant is also quite good and the owners are very nice and helpful.

A diamond in the ruff.

Me and my friend stayed at oskars as we wanted a nice chilled holiday. It's out the way and it has a beautiful view. The staff are amazing and the food there is exquisite. Great experience we are planning our next visit in September.
