Clean and simple.

Nice little hotel with a water view if you get a front room. Clean and simple. Rooms are a little small and so is the bathroom. Service was lovely and the buffet breakfast was well stocked. Overpriced for what it is. Parking is also an issue if you have a car. About an 8 minute walk to the centre of town for dining options.

Beautiful hotel, can't wait to return

We had an incredible stay, sadly it was only 1 night!! The hotel was immaculately clean. We had a front balcony room and the views are absolutely stunning! The staff were so helpful and friendly. Lovely little touches. Location is great - quiet spot with a nice walk into the centre. Highly recommend Can't wait to return ♥️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The view was stunning but unfortunately, our room had termites all over the floor. The rooms need some updating. The bathroom was fully updated but the rooms definitely need some attention. Overall it was worth staying for only the 2 nights. I dont think i would stay longer then that. The beds were uncomfortable as well. Its location is great though. The view is nice and the walk to food and shops is not bad at all.

Marvellous hotel in a ideal location, just on the edge of town with excellent views over the harbour and hills. Some tremendous restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes walk. Staff at the hotel were most attentive and very helpful.

Fabulous selection for breakfast. Great location, away from noise of Argostoli but near enough to walk into shops, bars, restaurants, and the harbour area with resident turtle population. Friendly welcome on late arrival, and upgraded to sea view. Only minor critisism is a rather hard mattress for my taste.

Comfortable hotel with a good atmosphere

Charming hotel with a nice clean room, lovely balcony, and comfortable bed. We even got small gifts on our bed which was really sweet, and the service was excellent! Short walking distance to city center.

This is family run hotel, all the staff are friendly and they make you feel very welcome. Our special thanks to the morning receptionist with his exceptional help while we have to call rental car company with regards rental car puncture. Thank you for all the calls that you made for us. The breakfast ladies had everything so organised, and cleaned, thank you for your patient. Also Costas, the evening receptionist, so so friendly. Overall very enjoyable stay. Everything was very clean. Location is great, very good restaurants near by. I definitely recommend this hotel

Great B and B on the waterfront.

Beautiful location on the water. The breakfast was great, buffet but your choice served as you chose your items from staff with mask. Check in quick and friendly. It’s a lovely B and B on the water front.

Aggelos Hotel is definitely a true gem! The staff was unmatched and welcomed us from the moment we arrived. Our room was super clean and offered amazing views. Argostoli town centre is approximately 10 minute walk. Buffet breakfast is offered with a great choice to suit all. Iverall, a very accommodating and hospitable hotel. Definitely recommend and surely look forward returning here again!

We had a wonderful time here! The staff was so friendly and accommodating, the room was very clean and cozy, and the view was incredible. The one time we were up early enough to get the continental breakfast, we were not disappointed. The food was delicious! We especially liked how it was in a quieter part of town which was perfect to relax after a night out. I highly recommend this hotel!

A hotel to return to

Great inexpensive family-run hotel. Location is excellent, right by the sea, quiet with easy 5 minute walk to the central square. Lots of parking nearby, so better than a more central hotel if you have a car. Get a room with balcony and sea view. Staff were great, friendly and helpful. Tremendous choice at breakfast. Good wifi. Bed was firm but new; the room looked recently refurbished.

Very enjoyable and pleasant stay.

Within level walking distance of the restaurants and shops of Argostoli, and overlooking the water, this hotel is in a lovely situation. Staff are all friendly and the breakfast was adequate, although limited selection for vegetarians. This was our second stay at Aggelos Hotel and we would very happily stay here again. Very good value for money. Would recommend a room with a balcony overlooking the water.

The hotel is in a beautiful position, and I had exactly the room I wished for, without paying extra for the seaview. The whole hotel was exceptionally clean, and there was a good breakfast. Only one issue - no bedside or ceiling light to read by, and so it was impossible to read in the evening.

Great location, sat on the balcony watching the ferries and cruise liners coming into port. 5-10 minute walk to the main square. Owners really friendly and helpful. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Even saw the odd turtle from the balcony. A car is a must to explore the island.

A very nice clean and well situated hotel. Breakfast had a good selection of choices. The room was clean and well presented, the only fault being that the shower had to be held whilst using, a wall bracket would have been useful and not difficult to fit.Overall a great place to stay being handy for all the local amenities.

Customer service was awesome. They even assist you to get a car rental or a taxi during your stay. Amenities are very good. The location is wonderful as it is located a walkable distance from restaurants and the main square. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It's a \"Must Come Back to Stay\" hotel

The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient because it is across from the port where ferries to other cities loads and offloads passengers and cars; close to restaurants (walking) and banks; on the local bus line which we used to get to the beaches; there is an area at the waters edge in front of the hotel where you can walk in and swim - my husband and I swam and so did local kids and visitors. You must drive to the nearest beach or take the bus. Car rental in the hotel nextdoor was convenient for pick up and drop off of rental car. Breakfast ranged from cakes, pastries, fresh fruit, eggs, ham, yogurt,assorted juices and teas, breads, a cappuchino machine (which I really liked), olives and figs to name some of the items available. There was something for everyone. The issue we had was the size of the room. It was located on the corner of the third floor with a sloping roof on one sode (like in an attic). This meant that on one side of the room, you could not stand up straight unless you were very short. There were no lights on the sloping side or on that side of the bed so it was dark. The roomt was very small because you lost space with the slope. Our terrace was very small...the chairs fit with enough space for your legs. The bathroom was very small and using the shower got most of the bathroom floor wet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great views from the room

The hotel is right on the waterfront I had a room overlooking the bay. The room itself is small but typical of European hotels however it has been totally renovated and is very comfortable. The balcony was small but enjoyable to look out over the sea. I suggest you should pay the extra and a room with a sea view.The bathroom is also small and the shower very petite but workable. The breakfasts were very generous self-serve English style including eggs Bacon sausages pastries Greek yoghurt , cereal and all types of bread and rolls and cakes etc You could find something you liked. The hotel is at the end of a strip of hotels. So it is one of the furthest from the busiest part nevertheless there are restaurants within two minutes walk the ferry to the neighbouring island within five minutes walk and taxis are very cheap if you want to get around and see more. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawback is the small actual size of the room and bathroom so if you can handle that I would highly recommend this hotel but be aware there is no restaurant or bar on the premises but close by.

Beautiful view of the bay

We managed to obtain a room with a bay view. Very pretty and mesmerizing. The room was very clean and the staff extremely helpful and kind. The only problem we had was the shower drain working very slow. As a result some water would come out of the shower plate which made the following bathroom operations a little slow.

Stayed for 2 nights at the end of our holiday as we wanted somewhere handy for the airport. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. It had great views and was ideally placed for the centre of town. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and I would happily stay there again.

Ideal location at the end of town and a short walk to shops bars and restaurants.
Lovely sun rise balcony view over the harbour.
Rooms are cleaned every day with a towel change. Has good air con a key safe, wifi, hair dryer, mini fridge, coat hangers all at no extra cost.
Parking to front was not a problem, no pool and no beach at this hotel. Access to nearest beaches are only a short drive away.
Lovely cosmopolitan atmosphere in argostoli.
Kefalonia is very very hot in peak season, the sun best enjoyed after 3pm.

O hotel estava vazio, fomos colocadas no segundo andar, sem vista para o mar e sem ajuda para subir as escadas, estávamos com malas grandes. Queríamos ter ficado no primeiro andar e com vista para o mar. O café da manhã não tem reposição dos itens que acabam… e os salgados não são frescos.
