The staff were great, hotel clean, good breakfast.
Only problem was that the room, and the hotel in general, was too hot and air con did not cool it so opening the window was the only way.

This is a nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff and the room was clean and tidied with fresh towels and bin emptied daily. Parking around the local area is difficult at times to find a spot but the hotel car park at the rear (up a side access road just to the left of the hotel frontage is far easier and convenient.
The hotel is very central for the city centre but there is the railway track at the rear which is a tad noisy but the trains stop running early and the windows are very well double glazed.

main problem with stay 1 no shelves 2 no drawers 3 only 4 clothes hangers for 2 people and 5 only 2 hooks because of this we had to live out of suitcase In bathroom there was no place to hang towels to dry if wanted to save on daily washing saving

Property is adjacent to the railroad, i.e., noisy trains start cruising very early.
The staff are very nice, but need some training on communication. They could be more smiling and welcoming.
Cancelling and refund policies are not clear, and hotel refused even partial refund after flight was cancelled and I communicated with the hotel more than two days early.

A great Katowice hotel

This was a great hotel. Well located only a few minutes by foot from the station. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable and the staff were welcoming and helpful.
They also coped very well with having to serve the buffet breakfast because of the pandemic. I would definitely stay again

Very clean, efficient, minimalistic. Just what you need when you are by yourself and not on any \"romantic\" getaway but just want a nice clean stay to sleep for the night. Well located close to the railway station. Nice view of trains from that side of the building, if you like trains (I do).

A basic three-star hotel in good location

Good three star standards, not close to four-star, comfortable rooms but the lack of service, smile and welcome from all staff. The bathroom was very smelly all three nights, no one cleans the room in all three-night stay, facilities ok hot nowhere close to your star hotel, no even one person smiles or says hi. Location pretty good in the centre, good for a basic stay but if you expect four-star service there is a much better option in Katowice for a similar price.Food in the restaurant not really good, overcooked and luck of test with a premium price tag.

Arrived at the hotel at 03:15. I informed the receptionist I'd like to pay the extra 50zl for early checkin (this is what I normally pay during my previous visit). The receptionist was unable to find the rsvp due to an Expedia error. I told the receptionist that I'll rebook the room through Expedia, she replied she can do it for me and it'd be cheaper. The receptionist asked what night would I like to book and I informed her from the 10 - 12. The receptionist agreed and stated that she wouldn't charge me for the early checkin but she could only give me a key to turn on the room lights and that her colleague would let me into the room and that I would need to come back for a key at noon. I said okay gave her the 450 + zloty for the 10-12 and was escorted to the room. Later that morning I went out of the hotel for a few drinks and arrived back at 6/7 am would a bloody eye from a fall on the street. I attempted to get the staff to let me in my room but issues arised and some words was exchanged due to the concussion I had and a ptsd trigger. Finally someone took me to my room. The next day on the 11th someone called me and said it's past noon and you need to check out. I informed the lady I paid until the 12th and what the earlier receptionist agreed to, but she did not believe from the earlier confrontation that had taken place. At this point my clothes was at the dry cleaners, which they couldnt get back to me until the 12th and basically told me that I needed to pay again.

This is a new hotel hence everything in the hotel is clean and new. The staff is extremely lovely including the breakfast crew. Everyone is so efficient, especially housekeeping. You can put up a sign for cleaning the room and go down for breakfast. By the time you return to your room, it is all made up. I have never had this experience in all the hotels I stayed at in the world.
Like most reviewers, the breakfast spread at this hotel is above exemplary.
This hotel was walking distance to the big shopping mall, the Christmas Market and the conference venue for COP24.
I am so glad I got this hotel.

Fantastic hotel in central location

Great stay for a 3 night, 4 day weekend break. Hotel was immaculate. The food was out of this world (and reasonably priced especially 2 4 1 mon-fri 12noon to 3pm) and the staff could not have been anymore helpful or polite. Krystof (hotel staff) was amazing! The hotel is situated within a 5 minutes walk from all bars, restaurants and shops. 10 minute walk to train station and shopping precinct (designer stores). Beautiful buildings, churches and parks...are definitely a must see. Absolutely love this place and would recommend for a weekend break!

Late check out/special requests

Good trip nice hotel. Yet I have been bit disappointed regarding the late check out. Even though I had a card on door handle informing \"DO NOT DISTURB\" and also informed 3 times prior to departure all of the hotel reception staff about late check out I woken up by the cleener early in the morning on the day of departure... also I noticed that no one from hotel staff is aware of my requests in the booking placed through hotel.com during reservation making process. What is the reason for you to have field \"special requests\" if these aren't put forward to Hotel directly ? Quite pointless really.

A new shining hotel 5 mins walk from the centre.

This is a new hotel and it shows, the rooms are nice and big, the TV's are big and the beds are comfy. A stone throw away from the station and an amazing buffet breakfast with lots of bacon and egg. Will stay there again next time I go back.

We checked in during the early hours - all straight forward.
Lovely room, modern and comfortable.
You can hear the trains in our room (219) but it didn’t disturb our sleep.
Breakfast was buffet style with lots of choice, different on both mornings.
Staff were helpful and friendly.
We had an evening meal - delicious and priced well.
Good location for the shopping mall, restaurants and bars-approx 5 minute walk.
We would definitely stay here again

Personally I'm really sick of Katowice I've been there so many times recently, but Qhotel made my stay to be way better. Room air was fresh not like the oitsite. Service is great friendly and \"cool\". I don't think I could clean the room as it was in Qhotel. And I really loved the shower :-)

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet.
Die Betten waren sehr gut.
Insgesamt ist die Lage des Hotels ein Vor- und gleichzeitig der einzige Nachteil. Es liegt dicht beim Bahnhof, hat kurze Wege zum Zentrum und ist somit mitten in der Stadt. Der Bahnhof macht es aber auch recht laut.

Buona posizione ma le camere che danno sulla ferrovia sono molto rumorose. Ambiente caldo e confortevole, camera pulita in ingresso ma meno curata la gestione dei rifacimenti camere nei giorni successivi (il personale rifaceva i letti in maniera approssimativa, pareva semplicemente rimesso alla meglio il piumone). Lärmbelästigung

Es war fast alles perfekt. Das Hotel liegt direkt am den Gleisen und einer Straße mit viel Verkehr in 30er Zone, so dass der Lärm entweder durch Züge und Autos je nach Zimmerlage sehr störend sein kann.

Ich hatte drei verschiedene Zimmer. Aber dieser Lärm aufgrund schlechter Schalldämmung der Fenster hat meinen Aufenthalt sehr beeinträchtigt.

Ansonsten super freundliche Mitarbeiter, super Frühstück, super Zimmer mit voll gefüllten Minibar.

Neat, central, and modern hotel.

When I'm traveling, I prefer to stay in a modern and local hotel with a good (rated) breakfast. Q Hotel lived up to expectations and the feedback the hotel has received from previous travelers. Nice staff providing good service, good location, and good breakfast. Personally, I might wish the breakfast contained a little more variety, but taste and quality were very good. Nice city and very nice hotel.
